Chapter 17 Evil Plans

Silas flew with all his speed and might looking for Tortuga. Unlike Maui's group Silas was a monster that could sense the island turtle as well as follow it's scent. Eventually the bird monster found it and after a quick rest he headed to Tentacular's lair and requested a immediate audience with the monster ruler saying he had important information for him. Silas was lead into Tentacular's throne room and bowed before the monster ruler.
"Lord Tentacular I bring great news." Said Silas.
"What news is that?" Asked Tentacular.
"I along with the rest of Gutt's crew were perusing Maui and his little group and during the chase we discovered that Maui and the people he was traveling with have the heart of Te Fiti in their possession!" Said Silas.
"The heart of Te Fiti! You actually saw it?" Said Tentacular sitting up in his throne.
"Indeed. We saw it and we had it in our grasp, until Maui's traveling companions and managed to take it back from us and escape with it! We would have gone right back after them, but one of Maui's companions turned out to be a giant kraken and she used her strength and bulk to push us away with a wave. Gutt sent me back to report to you." Said Silas.
"A giant kraken you say. Tell me more about the ones that travel with Maui." Said Tentacular.
"Well there is of course the kraken girl that turned out to be one of the last giant krakens, then there's one we believe to be a mermaid, she had a magic trident as well as packed some powerful lungs that let out a loud shriek, and the last one appears to be a human as far as we can tell." Said Silas.
"Do you know where they're going?" Asked Tentacular.
"Afraid not, but Gutt and the rest of the crew will track them down." Said Silas.
Tentacular called upon one of his servants and told him to bring the monster Maui spoke with when he was on Tortuga. Several minutes later Reggie was brought to the throne room. Reggie bowed before Tentacular.
"Big T what can I do for you?" Said Reggie.
"I heard you spoke to Maui, I wish to know what he is up to and where he is going. I will pay you well for your information." Said Tentacular.
"Let's see...Maui told me he was looking for his hook, which he lost after he stole the heart of Te Fiti. Using my incredible information gathering skills I knew where the hook was and who has it." Said Reggie.
"Tell me." Said Tentacular.
"Tamatoa has the hook and he resides in Lalotai." Said Reggie.
"Interesting. Thank you for your assistance Reggie." Said Tentacular nodding to a servant to give Reggie a bag of pearls.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Said Reggie as he took the bag and walked out.
"Summon my flyers." Said Tentacular to another servant.
The servant raced off and a horn was blown. A few minutes later there was the sound of flapping wings and eight large monsters entered the throne room. Five of the newcomers were Pterodactyl dinosaurs and the other three were a feathered dromeosaurid species that simply called themselves Dino-Birds. The flyers were dinosaurs from long ago, who had ended up going underground and living in Lalotai before they started living on Tortuga and working for Tentacular.
The Pterodactyls were made four males and one female. The males were named Thunderclap, Coldfront, Frostbite, and Wingnut. The female was called Downpour. Thunderclap was the leader of the Pterodactyls.
The Dino-Birds were a family consisting of a father, daughter, and son. Gavin the father had teal-blue scales with a gray underbelly and red feathers. He had greenish yellow eyes and a black beak, with scuffs and scratches at the tip. Gertie the daughter had blue scales, a white underbelly and red feathers. She also had orange eyes, black beak, and a plump physique. Roger the son had blue scales with a light-dark underbelly and red feathers. He had light brown orange eyes, a slightly scuffed black beak, and a skinny and lean physique.
"How may my squad serve you sir?" Asked Thunderclap.
"How can me and my family serve you?" Asked Gavin.
"I have a important job for you. One that will test your skills." Said Tentacular.
The flyers looked at each and back at Tentacular.
"What's the job?" Asked Thunderclap.
"You will follow Silas and join up with Gutt and his crew to provide aid. They are currently chasing the demigod Maui, who is on his way to Lalotai to retrieve his magic hook. Maui is traveling with one mermaid, one human girl, and one giant kraken. They have the heart of Te Fiti in their possession and I want it." Said Tentacular.
The flyers were very surprised by this news and saw this as a golden opportunity to prove their skills to their master.
"You can count on us, sir. We won't return, until we got the heart!" Said Gavin.
With that said Silas lead the flyers out of the throne room and they took off heading to sea. Tentacular watched them fly off and smiled. The return and the reveal of the heart was a real game changer for the monsters. With the power of the heart Tentacular and the monsters would have control of the world and they would be able to shape it as they saw fit.
Tentacular headed to the private room and made contact with Umibozo, Iku Turso, and Leviathan to tell them about the news and get them to help retrieve the heart, since they all had contacts in Lalotai. The other monsters were shocked to hear about the heart resurfacing and agreed to contact their underlings in Lalotai to help retrieve the heart. After that Tentacular decided to take a extra measure to get the heart by contacting the Bad Guys using a magic conch shell to speak to them and told them about the heart. Tentacular told the Bad Guys to continue on with their mission to get the Instrument of Destruction, but to keep an eye out for Maui's group and if they did run across them to use their skills to steal the heart.
With all these plans and agents in place Tentacular was confident that the heart was as good as his.
