Moana groaned as her eyes slowly opened. She remembered jumping down the hole into Lalotai, landing and bouncing off of Maui, and then bouncing off a few rocks before briefly passing out from her tumbling. Moana soon realized that first she was hanging upside down and the ground was a few dozen feet below her. The second thing Moana took notice of was that there was a long pink thing draped around her body. The pink thing was soft and moist. Moana looked upwards and soon discovered what the pink thing wrapped around her was and where it had come from.

It was a large pink tongue and it belonged to a large monster sitting on a rock that resembled a frog! The frog monster had pale green skin and scales, with lavender spots on its body, red eyeballs, and black pupils.

Moana stared up at the frog monster in shock and horror about her situation, which quickly got worse. The frog monster began to draw it's tongue back into it's mouth and Moana began to freak out as she struggled to break free to no avail and called out to her friends for help. Moana was drawn closer and closer to the frog monster's mouth and would have most likely become it's next meal, when a large plant sitting on a rock opposite to the frog monster sprung to life and stretched out to the frog monster revealing itself to be a monster that quickly engulfed the monster biting through the frog monster's tongue in the process as it made a meal of it. Moana and the severed tongue dropped down to the ground with a thud.

Moana quickly managed to get herself free from the tongue with a look of disgust and horror on her face. She then took her first good look at her surroundings. Lalotai was indeed a weird place. Moana saw a mix of plants and rocks that belonged on the surface as well as a mix of coral reefs and underwater plants next to each other and the area above everything was the sea itself. Moana could see the ocean water just above everything with fishes, whales, and other sea creatures swimming casually about outside Lalotai. She didn't know how that was possible, so Moana crept to the nearest edge of dry area and stuck her hand towards the water. Moana expected to find some kind of invisible wall or force that would keep her away from the water or push her away, but her hand went into the water with no trouble at all!

"There must be some really powerful magic at work!" Said Moana to herself as she pulled her hand out of the water.

Moana also took notice of large spheres of water floating above her that had sea creatures and monsters swimming around in them. It was a odd and beautiful sight. Moana then heard a loud rumble and saw the armored back of some large monster moving in the distance reminding her where she was. Moana was in Lalotai the Realm of Monsters, she had no weapons and none of her friends were with her. The human was along in possibly the most dangerous place in the world!

Moana realized she was out in the open and very exposed and quickly found a rock to hide and conceal herself. She gave the rock a good tap to make sure it wasn't some kind of monster in disguise before she relaxed a little and took in more of her surroundings. Moana saw a giant, upward spiraling seashell with lights coming from it and wondered if that was Tamatoa's lair. She then weighed her options. Wait for Maui and the others to find her or investigate the giant shell to see if it was Tamatoa's lair? Moana knew her friends were most likely looking for her as well as the lair, so there was a good chance she could run into them there. If the shell wasn't Tamatoa's lair then Moana would just keep looking, until she found it and her friends.

Moana heard a strange noise behind her and turned to be met with a strange and horrifying sight. A monster that was a little bit bigger then a human that resembled a purple sloth wearing a creepy tiki mask was making it's way towards Moana. The creature had six clawed limbs. Two of them were being used as feet, while the other four were being used as arms. Moana pressed back against the rock in fear as the creature got closer and then it leaped at her!

Just when it seemed like Moana was going to be struck by the creature a geyser that happened to be between Moana and the creature blew striking the creature and sending it flying upwards and into the ocean above. Moana let out a sigh of relief. She had been down in Lalotai for less then 15 minutes and she had suffered two close near death experiences with monsters only to be saved at the last minute. Moana knew she had to be more careful moving forward since she couldn't just rely on her luck to get her out of every situation. She needed to be sneaky and find something to help her blend in in some way.

Moana took a deep breath as she made her way to the shell darting from rock to rock as cover and hoping her friends were doing alright and that she would find them soon.

Elsewhere Chelsea found herself on a rocky platform right between two of the giant spheres of water that floated in the air. Chelsea went up to one of the spheres and looked at all the fish and sea creatures swimming about in them. It was an odd and beautiful sight. Chelsea watched a colorful school of fish swim about and then they just scattered as two large predator monsters swam onto the scene.

One was a large green and compactly-built, pliosaurs with four thickly-built flat fins, a blunt, neckless head, and a large mouths filled with sharp teeth. The pliosaurs was called Malestorm.

The other monster was a slender purple ichthyosaurs. It was shaped roughly like a dolphin, with a crocodilian snout full of long, pointed teeth, it had two long front limbs equipped with clawed paws and two hind fins, similar to a fish. Along the ichthyosaurs's backs were large, pointed sails and covering his body was a thick hide, coated along their backs with pointed spikes. At the end of his short tail was a large, flat tail fin, similar to a fish. The ichthyosaurs was called Cretaceous.

Chelsea watched as the two predators worked together to snag and devour a few unlucky fish before they turned their attention to her. The mermaid watched in horror as the two monsters began to swim in her direction and pick up speed. Chelsea looked around for a place to escape to and saw that their was no place safe enough to jump down to and she didn't have much time to safely climb down to either, so she leapt into the other sphere of floating water and quickly turned her legs into a mermaid tail and quickly began swimming away.

Malestorm and Cretaceous didn't slow down as they leapt from one sphere of water to the other to chase after Chelsea. The mermaid looked behind her to see the two monsters chasing after and put on a extra burst of speed as she began to zig and zag through the water to try and lose the predators. Despite Chelsea's efforts Malestorm and Cretaceous managed to keep pace with the mermaid, though Malestorm was lagging a bit behind due to being a bulkier and heavier creature then either Cretaceous or Chelsea. Cretaceous began leaving Malestorm behind as he closed in on Chelsea. The mermaid twisted and swerved leading the monster on a good chase as the distance between her and her purser closed. Chelsea swam fast as Cretaceous got closer and then she saw Malestorm up ahead coming at her!

Chelsea swam at Malestorm with Cretaceous right behind and at the last second she dove downwards and the two creatures crashed into each other! The mermaid glanced back to see Malestorm and Cretaceous floating in the water stunned from the impact before swimming to a place were she could exit and get back on dry land. Chelsea changed her mermaid tail into legs and then she pulled out her trident as she began to explore Lalotai and look for her friends.

In another part of Lalotai, Ruby had taken a tumble that had knocked her out for a bit. When she woke up she was laying on a cot made out of sponge in a strange location. It looked like a building made out of rock, wood, and bones of large sea creatures. There was a large wooden table nearby with several wooden and a few glass containers with odd colored liquids in them. Working at the table was a large octopus monster with human-like face, sharp ragged teeth, red eyes, purple skin, and eight long tentacles with lighter undersides.

"Um...hello." Said Ruby not really sure what to make of the monster and her strange situation.

"Oh good you're awake!" Said the octopus monster in a cheery voice as he turned to face Ruby.

"Hi I'm Ruby. Can you tell me where I am and how I got here?" Said Ruby.

"Why of course. My name is Dave and some associates a couple of wacky jellyfish monsters named Ernie and Bernie found you laying out unconscious and brought you to my humble abode to heal and look after you."

"Well thank you. You're very nice considering you're a monster and I'm a kraken." Said Ruby.

"Oh not every monster down here is a violent savage and I have no beef with krakens. I find them to be very fascinating creatures." Said Dave.

"That's nice, so what exactly are you doing here?" Asked Ruby walking over to the table.

"Well I'm a sorcerer. I mix all kinds of ingredients and substances to create magical potions and I test them out on my Minions to see if they are useful and can be traded or sold to other monsters." Said Dave with a bit of pride.

"Minions?" Asked Ruby.

Dave smiled and clapped a couple of his tentacles. Several dozen yellow short pill-shaped humanoid creatures appeared in the room. The Minions had a variety of one or two eyes, short strands of hair, and they had wooden goggles strapped to their eyes. Some wore brown or blue lavalava, while others wore skirts made out of seaweed.

"Presenting the Minions." Said Dave indicating the Minions.

The Minions stared at Ruby before they all began to speak in a gibberish language.

"Enough! Everyone quiet down. We have a guest and I just completed my latest and greatest potion and I need some volunteers." Said Dave.

A panicked look appeared on the Minions faces and most of them immediately stepped backwards leaving five in the front. The Minions were named David, Gus Tim, Mel, and Jerry.

"Perfect. You five will do." Said Dave.

The five volunteers looked at each other nervously before they glared back at the other Minions.

"So what exactly is this potion you're testing?" Asked Ruby.

"Oh it's a really special potion with a extra rare ingredient. The blood of a giant kraken." Said Dave with a sinister smile.

"You know I'm a giant kraken?" Asked Ruby with horror as she felt a chili go down her back.

"I already knew a giant kraken was making their way down here with a demigod, a mermaid, and a human. I also know you have the heart of Te Fiti with you. My master told me so." Said Dave as some Minions surrounded Ruby and tied her hands together.

Ruby tried to use her laser eyes or try to go big, but she felt a wave of wooziness come over her and stumbled a bit.

"Medicine is kicking in now. You really think I would be dumb enough to not take some precautions. Now you won't be able to use your powers for a bit, but you'll still be conscious enough to witness my brilliance at work." Said Dave.

Dave headed outside and the Minions carried Ruby out. The octopus monster handed his five volunteers five jars of liquids.

"These potions will grant people one of your powers. I wasn't fully able to get all your powers in one potion, but I'll get there eventually. Now let the tests begin." Said Dave.

The minions drank the potion and after a few seconds they all began to change.

Tim found that he could now stretch his body at incredible lengths as his arms stretched and twisted, Mel's one eye began to glow and shoot lasers, Jerry's body became big and looked like a rock-like substance, Gus suddenly became invisible, and David began to grow until he was over two hundred feet tall!

"I present the Mega Minions! With their powers the heart of Te Fiti is as good as ours!" Said Dave.

The other Minions stared at the volunteers in shock before they all began to clap and cheer. Ruby just stared at the Mega Minions in shock. The situation for her and her friends had just gotten a lot worse.

To be continued.
