Chapter 20 Shiny

Moana crept across the lands of Lalotai listening to every sound she heard, carefully looking at the ground to make sure she wasn't about to step on any geysers, checking every rock and plant she took cover behind making sure it wasn't one of the local monsters in disguise waiting to make a meal of her, and checking to make sure there weren't any predators stalking her. So far Moana had yet to encounter any monsters or trouble as she made her way to the giant she'll. Moana also hadn't seen any of her friends yet, but she was confident they were around and that she would find them.
Little did Moana know was that Thunderclap and his gang were flying near the area looking for her and the rest of her friends as Raz, Dobson, and a few dozen Kakamoras trailed behind them. Gutt had Solent up the crew and flyers to cover more ground as they hunted for Maui and his companions. Thunderclap spotted Moana sneaking across the grounds and immediately alerted the pirates telling them to pick up the pace as he and the rest of his gang closed in on Moana.
Unfortunately for both Moana and the pirates and flyers they were crossing the territory of a particular group of violent and territorial large bat monsters. The bat monsters were fierce creatures led by a violent bat monster named Bela. Bela was currently resting upside down in a cave Moana was passing when he caught the scent of the human. This confused Bela because he knew no human dared travel to Lalotai, but the scent he smelled was indeed human. Bela became alert and woke the rest of the bat monsters up as they caught Moana's scent and also became aware of other creatures entering their territory.
"No human or monster invades our turf!" Snarled Bela.
The other bat monsters screeched in agreement as they flapped their wings and began to leave the cave.
Moana knew something was up, when she heard the flapping of wings from above and turned to see Thunderclap and his gang closing in on her.
"Give it up human the heart is ours!" Said Thunderclap.
Moana glanced further back and was surprised and horrified to see some of Gutt's crew not too far behind her and the flying monsters. The pirates were in Lalotai and they were after the heart! Moana desperately picked up the pace as Thunderclap and his gang closed the distance. Thunderclap took lead and was about to grab Moana with his claws, when Bela crashed into him and some of Bela's bats crashed into the rest of Thunderclap's crew knocking them away from Moana and to the ground. Thunderclap shot to his feet with a snarl as he glared at Bela.
"What's the big idea?" Demanded Thunderclap.
"You invaded our territory!" Snarled Bela as Raz and the other Pirates joined Thunderclap's side.
"We don't care about your territory we're just passing through on important business. We just want the human. Now step aside or will make you!" Said Raz.
"We move for no one!" Declared Bela.
"Fine! Have it your way!" Said Raz before she and the others rushed Bela and his gang and a big fight broke out between the pirates and bat monsters.
Moana glanced back at the carnage and quickly took the opportunity to put some distance between it and herself. Again her luck had saved. Moana just hoped it would hold out, until she and her friends were safely out of Lalotai.
Elsewhere Gutt, Squint, Silas, Gavin, Gertie, Roger, and some Kakamoras were making their way through another part of Lalotai, when they were approached by a pair of jellyfish monsters named Ernie and Bernie. The same two jellyfish monsters that were friends and associates of Dave.
Ernie and Bernie had blue bodies with purple tentacles and human-like faces. Ernie had short little stubby tendrils on his face that looked like a beard and Bernie had one long tendril that hung from his chin like a beard. The two monsters also had Jamaican ascents.
"Greetings mates. Are one of you Captain Gutt." Said Bernie.
"That would be me. Who are you and what do you want?" Asked Gutt eyeing the two.
"We be Ernie and Bernie and we represent a mighty monster name Dave, who serves the Iku Turso. We were told to be expecting your arrival and to give you aid and information." Said Ernie.
"What info do you have?" Asked Squint.
"Well we found and captured a kraken girl." Said Bernie.
"You caught the kraken? She's possibly the most dangerous one in the group we're hunting." Said Gutt.
"We know, Dave gave her some nice medics to prevent her from using her powers and he's working on ways to give others the abilities of the giant kraken." Said Ernie.
"Wait, is this Dave a sorcerer?" Asked Gutt.
"He is." Said Bernie.
"Well take us to him. I want to see what he has and question his prisoner." Said Gutt.
"Follow us." Said Ernie.
The jellyfish monsters lead Gutt and his crew to Dave's lair.
In another part of Lalotai, Chelsea was sneaking around ready to fight with her trident. Chelsea wondered how her friends were doing and if they were safe. She crept along, when she heard the sound of some pebbles be kicked from behind and whirled around with her trident raised ready to fight and was confronted by a odd trio of monsters.
One was a large orange sea snail with a blue shell, the second looked like a fusion between a ape and a green fish, and what appeared to be a female troll.
The troll was a medium-sized one of the species with olive green skin, wide hips, and a pointy chin. Her blonde hair was in a sort of bobcut style with bangs. The troll had magenta eyes and lips and a purple, koala-like nose like all trolls do, along with spiky teeth. She had wo curved horns on the back of her head, the right one ha a ring pierced through. The troll wore a blue shirt blouse a purple skirt, and bands, which covered both her forearms, her right upper bicep, and her feet.
The fish ape and troll raised their hands and the snail raised his eyestalks.
"Whoa! Hey we do not mean you any harm." Said the fish ape.
"So you claim. Who are you three?" Said Chelsea eyeing the trio.
The troll spoke for the group.
"I am Deya. The fish ape is Link and the snail is Theo. We're locals around here, but unlike most of the monsters in Lalotai we're friendly and we want to help." Said Deya.
"How do I know that you want to truly help me and why do you want to help me?" Asked Chelsea.
"Because helping you will really help us out and we're told to help you." Said Theo speaking up.
"Yeah the ocean gave us a sign telling us to help a stranger matching your description." Said Link.
"The ocean?" Asked Chelsea.
Deya produced a large sea shell that had a image that resembled Chelsea carved onto it.
"We were by one one of the water walls, when this suddenly shot out and landed by our feet." Said Deya.
"Over the years the ocean has given us small messages that have helped us in one way or another." Said Link.
"Helped us find food and shelter a few times and gave us a warning about really dangerous monsters nearby." Said Theo.
"So tell us what we can help you with and we can see about helping you." Said Deya.
"Well I traveled down here with three friends. A human named Moana, a kraken named Ruby, and the demigod Maui. We were looking for Tamatoa's lair and got separated. Have you seen any of my friends and know where Tamatoa's lair is?" Said Chelsea as she stood her trident up.
"We know where Tamatoa's lair is." Said Link.
"And I think I know where your kraken friend is." Said Theo.
"Where?" Asked Chelsea.
"She's in the clutches of a very dangerous and smart monster called Dave." Said Theo.
"What makes Theo so dangerous?" Asked Chelsea.
"Dave is a sorcerer and is a expert at creating powerful potions. He's most likely trying to use things he can get from your friend to some new potions." Said Deya.
"Then we have to go save her." Said Chelsea.
"And we will help you." Said Link.
"I'll lead the way." Said Theo as he moved forward with surprising speed for a snail.
Chelsea blinked her surprise.
"Dave tested a speed potion on Theo and it gave him super speed." Explained Deya.
The little group moved on to Dave's lair.
Gutt and his crew were lead to Dave's lair who was proudly presenting the Mega Minions to the captive Ruby and the rest of the Minions. The pirates and flyers were impressed by the sight of the Mega Minions. Gutt saw Ruby and smirked at her. Ruby's eyes went wide in surprise at the sight of Gutt and his crew. Dave smirked at the pirates.
"Ah you must be Captain Gutt. Welcome to my lair. I am Dave and and these are the Mega Minions creatures I've given great power thanks to the blood of a giant kraken." Said Dave.
"Impressive. You managed to capture the kraken and used her blood to enhance your underlings. You're quite a smart monster Dave." Said Gutt.
"So shall we question our prisoner? Ernie and Bernie would love to help interrogating her." Said Dave.
"A little torture sounds nice. Also we need to start searching Lalotai for the others." Said Gutt.
"With the powers of the Mega Minions finding Maui and the others will be a simple task." Said Dave.
Ernie and Bernie smirked as they and Gutt went over to the tied up form of Ruby.
Chelsea, Deya, Link, and Theo crouched on a large rock overlooking Dave's lair and they could see everything. The group saw the tied up form of Ruby and Gutt heading towards her with Ernie and Bernie.
"I got this." Said Theo before he vanished in a burst of speed.
Theo raced down the rocks and knocked down a few Minions before he raced over to Gutt, Ernie, and Bernie and spun around them using his speed to create a small tornado to suck the three in and collide with each other. Gutt let out a scream of anger and pain as he suddenly found himself tangled in the two jellyfishes' tentacles which stung him. Squint and Silas raced over to their captain's aid to try and untangle him.
"We're under attack!" Yelled Dave.
Chelsea fired a few blasts from her trident causing some explosions that knocked down some Minions and Kakamoras, before she raced down with Deya and Link. The mermaid knocked down some more Minions and Kakamoras down before they were confronted by the Mega Minions.
Tim stretched his arms out at Link and tried to strike him with them, only to have Link dodge them and then grab the long limbs and swing the Mega Minion around knocking down more Minions, Kakamoras, Roger, and the invisible Gus. Deya faced off against Jerry and the two began to grapple. Mel tried to blast Deya from behind with his laser eye, but Theo rushed by and threw off his aim causing Mel to hit Jerry instead and sent him crashing into some Minions and Kakamoras. Deya ran over to Mel, who was still firing his laser, picked him up, and used the laser he was still firing to take out a whole lot of Minions,Gavin, and Gertie . Chelsea ran over to Ruby and cut her free with her trident.
"Chelsea?" Said Ruby in surprise as she was freed.
"Hey Ruby don't you worry, will get out of this." Said Chelsea as she helped Ruby to her feet and used a bit of her healing magic to help get the medicine out of her system.
"No one is getting out of here! David crush them!" Ordered Dave to the Mega Minion.
David let out a roar as he stomped towards Ruby and Chelsea. Ruby looked up at the approaching giant and quickly focused her mind on growing and changing into her giant kraken form. She grew and changed and soon stood a bit taller then David. The Mega Minion looked at the giant kraken in surprise and Ruby quickly dealt him a punch knocking him back. David reeled back, but quickly recovered and threw a punch at Ruby, who raised her arms and blocked it, but the force of the blow still managed to send her skidding back. Ruby lowered her arms and decided she needed to end the fight fast to avoid attracting any giant sea monsters, so she fired her laser eyes at David. Chelsea decided to help as well and fired a blast from her trident. The two attacks hit the same spot on David and for the first time in over a thousand years the powers of a kraken and the magic of a mermaid were combined and they exploded with great force sending David flying back and crashing right onto Dave's lair!
The lair collapsed under the Mega Minion's weight and all the various potions in Dave's workshop spilled out and mixed before they created a chemical reaction and exploded under David lifting his body a few feet before he crashed back down.
"My lair! My potions!" Cried Dave in dismay at the sight of his destroyed lair.
Ruby shrank down to her humanoid kraken form and she and Chelsea stared in shock and awe at what they had done.
"Our attacks combined and did all that." Said Chelsea.
"This must be like what our ancestors could do when they worked together." Said Ruby.
"Nice light show, but playtime is over." Said Gutt who was finally free from the tangle of Ernie and Bernie.
Gutt had some stings and lumps on his body as he advanced towards Ruby and Chelsea with his bone sword, followed by Squint, Silas, Ernie, and Bernie. Ruby and Chelsea prepared to face the pirates and monsters, Theo appeared next to them.
"Hop onto my shell ladies, I'll get you out of here and take you to Tamatoa's lair." Said Theo.
"What about Deya and Link?" Asked Chelsea as she and Ruby quickly got onto Theo's shell.
"They already got away. You two did a nice job wrecking Dave's place and potions, he won't be a threat for a long time." Said Theo.
Gutt raced at Theo and the girls and leaped through the air swinging his sword down at them, but Theo already used his great speed to avoid the attack and get Ruby and Chelsea far away from the scene. Gutt's sword struck the empty space and the monster let out a howl of rage after his escaping prey.
"This is far from over." Vowed Dave with a angry expression on his face.
Elsewhere Moana had finally reached the giant shell and was fixing to head inside, when she sensed something behind her. Moana quickly whirled around letting out a attempt of a angry fierce roar as she punched out as hard as she could and struck Maui in the nose!
"Ouch!" Said Maui stumbling back.
"Maui! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I though you were one of the monsters here!" Said Moana quickly apologizing for what she did.
"Hey it's alright. I get it. Lalotai is a freaky place. It'll make anyone jumpy on their first trip." Said Maui rubbing his nose.
"So have you found Ruby and Chelsea?" Asked Moana.
"No I decided to find you first, since you're a human with no powers and you have the heart on you." Said Maui.
"I'm slightly offended, but I guess that makes sense." Said Moana.
"Don't worry about the others I'm sure they're perfectly fine and will see them again." Said Maui.
At that moment Theo suddenly arrived on the scene with both Ruby and Chelsea riding on his shell. Theo stopped and let the two girls off before he left the scene.
"Thanks Theo! You and the others take care of yourselves and stay safe!" Called Chelsea to Theo.
"Well that certainly was an adventure." Said Ruby.
"Ruby? Chelsea? What happened to you two?" Said Moana getting their attention.
"Moana you made it to Tamatoa's lair safely!" Said Chelsea.
"Good to see you two are doing ok." Said Ruby.
"So what happened?" Asked Maui.
Ruby and Chelsea filled their friends in on their own adventures and battles. Both Maui and Moana were surprised by the tales of monsters and Dave and they were alarmed to hear that Gutt was in Lalotai looking for them.
"Alright we need to get my hook and quickly get out of Lalotai before those Pirates catch up with us." Said Maui.
The four friends were in agreement as they crept into Tamatoa's lair. After a few minutes of walking and sneaking they came across a large chamber that appeared to have a large pile of gold and shiny objects, along with Maui's giant magic hook.
"That's my hook alright." Said Maui with a grin.
"So is Tamatoa's out right now?" Asked Ruby.
"No I know him. Tamatoa wouldn't simply just leave his treasure unguarded and unattended. He's close by, so we need to lure him out." Said Maui.
"I could go invisible and walk in and grab the hook, but I can't make the hook invisible, so Tamatoa would see it." Said Ruby.
"Me and Ruby could cause a commotion outside to lure Tamatoa outside, so Ruby can go giant kraken and deal with him and you can go get the hook." Said Chelsea.
"That could work." Said Moana.
Maui carefully studied the sand in the lair and shook his head.
"I don't think so. Judging by the sands in here I don't think Tamatoa ever leaves his lair." Said Maui.
"So now what?" Asked Chelsea.
"Well we need to get Tamatoa to reveal himself and keep him distracted, while I get my hook. Once I get it Tamatoa won't be a threat and it'll be smooth sailing." Said Maui with confidence.
"I'll do it." Said Moana.
"What? Moana that's dangerous!" Said Ruby.
"Hey you and Chelsea along with a couple of monsters just took down a small army and escaped Gutt. All I've done is sneak around and avoid getting eaten. The least I can do is act as bait and lure Tamatoa out. Besides you'll be there to rush in to save me if things go wrong." Said Moana.
"Alright will let you do this." Said Ruby.
"Just be careful we don't know what Tamatoa will do." Said Chelsea.
"Don't worry I already got a plan." Said Maui.
A minute later some Moana was wearing a large shiny shell on her head, had another shell hanging on her chest, and a large shiny stuck in her hands. Moana slowly walked around banging the shell on her chest and did a few little spins as she made her way to the pile of treasure and shiny objects. So far there was no sign of Tamatoa. Maui had instructed Moana that if she encountered Tamatoa she should get the crab to talk about himself. Moana reached the edge of the treasure pile and looked at the hook sitting in the middle of it and considered simply just running up, grabbing it, and then running away.
Moana was going to do just that when the pile began to suddenly shake and rise up causing Moana to fall onto her back as she stared up in surprise. The pile of treasure was no mere pile, but a actual giant shell and it was the shell of Tamatoa!
Tamatoa was a giant 50 foot tall blue crab with yellow towards the end of his claws. He had two blue eyes and five legs. There was a sixth leg located at the front of Tamatoa, but the end of it was missing.
Moana looked up at the big crab and decided that she needed to get away, but Tamatoa spotted her and picked her up in one big claw to lift her up to his face and examine her.
"Huhuhuhuuu...What have we here? It's a sparkly, shiny -wait a minute..." Said Tamatoa giving Moana a shake getting the shiny shells off of her.
Moana smiled nervously at Tamatoa as she tried to make eye contact with him, but really couldn't decide which eye to do that with.
"It's a human! What are you doing down here in the realms of the monst- Just pick an eye, babe. I can't- I can't concentrate on what I saying if you keep -Yep, pick one! pick one!" Said Tamatoa.
Moana settled on the right eye.
"You're a funny looking little thing, aren't you? Oooh what's this?" Said a Tamatoa taking a interest in Moana's necklace and moving his other claw to it.
"Don't, it's my grandma's!" Pleaded Moana wanting to keep both the necklace and the heart inside safe.
"It's your grandma's? Big deal! I ate my grandma! And it took a week because she was absolutely humongous. Why are you here?" Said Tamatoa eyeing Moana.
"Cause you're amazing! And we mortals have heard...the tales about the crab...who became a legend. And I got to know. How did you get so crab...ulous?" Said Moana following Maui's advice about dealing with Tamatoa and keeping him distracted.
"Are you just trying to get me to talk about myself? Because if you are ...I will gladly do so! In song form!" Said Tamatoa with a bit of glee.
Tamatoa began to sing and dance around the lair holding Moana like a helpless doll. Maui snuck around making his way to the giant crab and began to climb a wall so he could jump onto Tamatoa's shell and reclaim his hook. Ruby and Chelsea were crouched behind a rock ready to spring in in case something went wrong.
Well, Tamatoa hasn't always been this glam
I was a drab little crab once
Now I know I can be happy as a clam
Because I'm beautiful, baby
Did your granny say listen to your heart?
Be who you are on the inside?
I need three words to tear her argument apart
Your granny lied
I'd rather be SHINY!
Like a treasure from a sunken pirate wreck
Scrub the deck and make it look

I will sparkle like a wealthy woman's neck!

Fish are dumb, dumb, dumb!
There was a large pool of water above where fish were swimming around and became attracted to Tamatoa's shiny shell.
They chase anything that glitters!
Beginners...
Oh, and here they come, come, come!
To the brightest thing that...glitters!
The fish swam out of the pool and dropped down into Tamatoa's open mouth and he quickly swallowed them.
Mmm, fish dinners!
I just love free food...
And you look like seafood...
(Seaafoood!)
Tamatoa opened his mouth wide and started to move Moana towards it. Moana cried out and tried to escape the claw, but couldn't. It looked like she was about to become a meal for the crab! Ruby and Chelsea were about to spring into action, when Maui beat them to it as he landed on Tamatoa's shell and shouted at Tamatoa.
"Hey! Crab cakes. I'm back. It's Maui time." Said Maui as he pulled his hook from the shell.
Tamatoa let out a gasp of fear as he dropped Moana to the ground. Chelsea and Ruby quickly raced from their cover to Moana and quickly helped her up and dragged her away from Tamatoa to some cover.
"What do you say, little buddy. Giant hawk?" Said Maui looking at Mini Maui who turned into a giant hawk.
"Coming up! Cheehoo!" Said Maui lifting his hook in the air.
There was a flash of light, but instead of turning into a giant hawk Maui turned into a small fish. Maui tried again and turned into a shark which would have been useful if he was in a body of water. He tried again turning into a chameleon, a fly, a reindeer, a pig, then back to his normal form looking both confused and embarrassed. Apparently a thousand years without his hook had made Maui rusty and out of practice. Moana, Ruby, and Chelsea were very surprised by this development. Tamatoa's fear quickly vanished as he was filled with confidence and glee to extract some revenge on the guy that ripped his leg off. The big crab began singing as he moved around rocking his shell to toss Maui around.
Well, well, well!
Little Maui's having trouble with his look...
You little semi-demi-mini-god
Ouch! What a terrible performance!
Maui was knocked off the shell and Tamatoa grabbed him by the hook.
Get the hook! (Get it?)
You don't swing it like you used to, man...
Tamatoa spun Maui around and tossed him into a wall with a loud thud. Maui got to his feet with a glare in his eyes.
Yet I have to give you credit for my start!
And your tattoos on the outside...
For just like you I made myself a work of art!
Tamatoa danced over to Maui who swung his hook at Tamatoa's claw only to have Tamatoa grab it and toss Maui into the ceiling and he crashed back to the ground separated from his hook.
I'll never hide, I can't! I'm too
SHINY!
Watch me dazzle like a diamond in the rough
Strut my stuff, my stuff is so
Shiny
Send your armies but they'll never be enough
My shell's too tough, Maui man
Tamatoa looked around for Moana, but realized she wasn't around and simply shrugged as he went after Maui.
You could try, try, try!
But you can't expect a demigod...
To beat a decapod! (look it up)
Tamatoa struck Maui with his claw as he tried to grab his hook. Maui managed to get the hook only to have Tamatoa pick it up and strum the hook like a instrument as he hit Maui repeatedly in the process.
You will die, die, die!
Now it's time for me to take apart...
Your aching heart.
Maui released the hook and crashed to the ground as Tamatoa put the hook back on his shell. Tamatoa slammed his claw into a wall causing a enormous clam shell above to close making the cave go dark and reveal Tamatoa had purple and blue bioluminescence on his body.

These humans who made you feel wanted...
Tamatoa went over to Maui who was lying on his stomach and he moved his long hair to reveal a tattoo of what appeared to be a mother tossing a baby into the ocean. Moana, Ruby, and Chelsea were shocked at the tattoo and realized there was a dark history to Maui's backstory that could explain the way he was.
You tried to be tough
But your armor's just not hard enough!
Tamatoa picked Maui up and began to rub his face and head hard against the cave walls. Before tossing him into the air.
Maui!
Now it's time to kick your HEINIE!
Tamatoa kicked Maui in the rear sending him crashing onto his shell.
Ever seen someone so...
SHINY!?
Soak it in, cause it's the last you'll ever see
C'est la vie mon ami!
I'm so...
SHINY!
Now I'll eat you so prepare your final plea!
Just for me...
Tamatoa spun around and flung Maui from his shell into a wall. The crab then advanced towards Maui.
You'll never be quite as SHINY...

SHINYYYYYYYY!
Tamatoa picked Maui up and tossed him into his mouth. Maui quickly raised his hands and caught Tamatoa's upper jaw from closing in on him. The demigod strained with all his might against the jaws, but it looked like it was a battle he would lose. Ruby and Chelsea decided it was time to step in and help. Chelsea pulled out her trident making it glow brightly and Ruby activated her own bioluminescence making herself shiny. The two of them stepped out and called to Tamatoa waving at him.
"Hey Tamatoa were shiny!" Said Ruby.
"Come get us!" Said Chelsea.
Tamatoa studied the two newcomers briefly, but chose to ignore them, until Moana stepped out with a shiny object of her own. The heart of Te Fiti!
"Hey! I got something shiny for ya." Said Moana presenting the heart.
Everyone stared at Moana and the heart in shock. Tamatoa completely forgot about his meal and revenge on Maui and spat him out onto the ground.
"The heart of Te Fiti. You can't run from me!" Said Tamatoa going after Moana.
Moana took off running.
"Oh, you can...You keep surprising me. There's only so far you can get on those two little legs." Said Tamatoa as he chased after Moana stomping on the ground and slamming his claws onto the ground.
The vibrations made Moana fall dropping the heart and it skidded across the ground and fell down a crack. Tamatoa raced towards the crack and began digging with his claws.
"Hahahaaa. The power of creation...for the crustacean. Where is it? Where is it?" Said Tamatoa.
As Tamatoa was busy digging, Moana jumped onto the shell, grabbed Maui's hook, and then jumped off to rejoin her friends. Ruby and Chelsea were helping Maui up as she went over to them.
"We gotta go." Said Moana.
"Wait, what about the heart?" Said Maui.
"He can have it! I've got a better one." Said Moana opening her necklace to reveal the heart.
"Wait if you have the heart then what is Tamatoa going after?" Asked Chelsea.
"A shiny fake." Said Moana.
"Clever." Said Ruby as they quickly exited the lair.
Tamatoa finally dug out what he believed was the heart.
"Hahahahaaa Yes! I have the ... Wait a minute... Ugh! I see, she's taken a barnacle and she's covered it in bioluminescent algae...as a diversion." Said Tamatoa looking at the fake heart and then he crushed it into dust.
Moana and her friends were outside the lair heading to one of the bigger geyser, when Tamatoa smashed through a wall and chased after them.
"Grrr! Come back here!" Yelled Tamatoa.
The four friends reached the geyser and a few seconds later it began to erupt as Tamatoa rushed at them. The geyser went off sending the four friends up to the surface and knocking Tamatoa onto his back.
"Raaaaahh! Oof! Ugh! Huh?" Said Tamatoa as he was knocked onto his back and couldn't get up from his awkward position.
"Yahooooo!" Maui called as he and the others flew the surface.
"Hey! Hey!...Did you like the song?" Called Tamatoa to the fleeing group.
There was no response and Tamatoa let out a annoyed huff. The hook had been successful retrieved and the heroes had escaped Lalotai.
