Suijinmon is unbothered by most things. He's the highest level of digimon imaginable, the combined abilities of two of the most fearsome digimon known to both worlds. So when he flicks Gurimon away and captures Hook, he thinks it'll be simple enough to pick them all off, one by one.

But he's not expecting how protective the digidestined are of the man he's got ahold of, slowly draining the oxygen from with a tight fist. He's not expecting that weak little Gurimon to move fast enough to get help, and he's definitely not expecting this man with the ridiculous hair to have the wherewithal to hold onto his digivice, to use it to summon the others to him with the last of his energy.

So it's beyond his comprehension when something blasts him from him behind, knocking him off-balance, causing his grip on the obnoxious digidestined to slip. He grits his teeth and spins around, about to blast its cannon off when something slams into him, pins him to the ground. He roars in frustration, writhing around, hoping that he succeeds in squashing the human boy he had taken . "YOU WILL REGRET THIS!" he roars, bucking the horrid Plesiomon off of him, before-

pain. Desperate, all-consuming pain as something else slams into him, slashing through him wiht horrible drill like weapons. He gasps and twists, gripping Stiffilmon and throwing him aside, the digidestined surrounding them crying out. He then lunges around, trying to locate the original digidestined, determined to tear him to shreds right here, right now, in front of these pesky digidestined- but he falters, realizing that a man in all denim has found the boy first, is bracing him protectivvely. "Yarmon!" he yells out, holding up his digivice.

The man's partner lunges forward, digivolging into his rookie form. "SALAMON!" the creature yells, pouncing around on its four paws, a leash with digital symbols all over it flopping against its neck. "PUPPY HOWLING!"

It's endless, horrifying, and even though Suijinmon is so much stronger, he finds himself unable to move in the fact of this creature's cries. Before he can recover, can find the ability to fight back once more, Stiffilmon is back, slashes through him once more. He roars out in agony, feeling more of his data leaving him, his body limp and helpless against the ground. "No!" he yells, opening his eyes just to look up at Lotusmon as she aims her staff at him once more.

"Serpent ruin," she says somberly.

He blinks once, twice, and then can do no more as destruction rains down upon him, his body all of a sudden no more.

Orange helps Hook slump down to the ground at his feet, helping him sit upright. "I've got you," he says, running his fingers through Hook's hair. "You're alright. It's all going to be alright."

Gurimon rushes up, crawls up Hook's leg and stares up at him anxiously until Hook reaches out and gently runs his fingers over Gurimon's face, soothing him. "'m ok," he mumbles, his managing to get out even those two words enough to comfort both Orange and Gurimon. "I'm gonna be ok."

Mox and Asuka approach, Malakai keeping his distance as he pats Stiffilmon on the side. "You alright?" Mox asks Hook gruffly.

"Yeah," he says, looking blearily from him over to her. "Thanks."

Salamon joins them and Orange scoops him up, content to let him climb up onto his shoulder. "I digivolved, Orange!"

He chuckles. "You sure did," he says, chuffing the puppy digimon under the chin. "I'm impressed."

He beams and cuddles in close while Orange continues to brace Hook, relieved that everything worked out the way it did.
