Meanwhile at the Brown's house...

Sally looked at herself in the mirror one last time to make sure she looked cute and she did. She was wearing cute short shorts with little rip holes in them and a really cute t-shirt with half button down in front that she had open alittle. Her hair was down and curled. She smiles at herself grabs her purse then ran to the door to open it and she jumped almost had a heart attack. Linus was in mid-knock and put his hand down quickly with a nervous smile.

Oh you scared me Linus! What are you doing here? she asked. I think Charlie left for a walk if your looking for him.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to... Oh uhh I'm not here to see... Are you going some where? asked Linus trying to not act like he was there for her.

I was going out to hang with friends. She said raising her eyebrow and closing the door and making sure it was locked.

Did you need a ride. I can drive you. he offered.

Uhh, you don't have to. It's only two blocks, I can walk. Sally said waving her hand. Well, I am here already, it's at least a can do is drive you. No problem really! Linus said pointing to his car to convince her to change her mind.

Fine, are you happy?, she said trying to act like it wasn't a big deal.

Yeah I am now! then Linus chuckled as he opened the door for her and she got in. He walked on the other side and got in. She told him where her friend lives and he started the car and went.

She has been feeling funny around Linus for awhile. Like feeling like he tries to hard to be friendly with her. I hope it's my imagination... She thought to herself. Can I ask you something?, he asked nervously.

Sally looked at him with an eyebrow raised and nodded.

Okay well I was wondering if...uhh. Hmm No I mean will it be okay if I asked you to..., Linus getting nervous. Linus just spit it out okay? Sally said touching his arm. Besides his house is right there. She pointed over the driver's side to a big two story yellow house with big truck in the driveway.

Linus stops the car and looks over to where she was pointing... And looks at her. She looks all dolled up to see some 'guy'? Now this puts him in a slump. His expression changed and had an sour look like he was mad. His?, Linus asked angrily.

Sally smiles uncertainly and still didn't understand why Linus sounded mad, Yeah he's a friend. So? Linus tried to sound less angry but his voice made the words sound harsher, Who is he? Is he 'just' a friend? Or more then one? Look at him looks like a guy that is no good. The guy came outside and waved in their direction.

Sally didn't understand why he was being so harsh for, Why does that matter? It... it just does!, Linus said throughing his hands up dramatically. Sally shot him a death look. Who does he think he is my boyfriend? Why are you getting mad like you're my jealous boyfriend or something?

Well, I uh... Linus got taken back of what Sally asked.. He really should think before he spoke. He wanted to ask her out and to prom but this plan of his backed fired, because of his jealousy. I what?, Sally asked looking annoyed. Linus sucked in a breath and let it out slowly. He needs to ask her now. Actually, I wanted to ask you to prom. For awhile now, but I, uhh, I didn't know if you still had feelings for me or not? He asked rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

Sally then realized what her friends were saying that they had suspected that Linus was crushing on her but she kept telling them they were crazy. Are you asking me if I still have that little crush on you when I was younger? Linus glanced at her and nodded slightly.

Nope not anymore!., she conformed, and opened up the door, she turned and said I wouldn't want to go with a jealous jerk like you! and got out then slammed the door shut.

Linus blinked then it registered that she got out. He watched her cross the street and hugged the guy. Linus jaw dropped then he closed it and narrowed his eyes at the guy. Then they walked to the boy's front door and the boy look at Linus and shook his head in disappointment and then smiles and shuts the door. Linus quickly drove off before he got into fight with this guy over the girl that he was falling for.
