Once Annie is safely tucked up in bed, Oliver comforts Grace, and feelings come to light. After that, each day is better than the last.

Another telling of the night of Annie's rescue from the bridge in "Annie" (1982) Grace and Oliver are wracked with guilt over letting Annie go with "the Mudges". Both of them want nothing more than to forget the night ever happened - until they decide to give new meaning to it and together, the two of them make it memorable for an entirely different reason.
