Dear readers, I have deleted my old story of Voyagers for these three reasons. One was because I made the plot to complicated. Two was because I not happy how some of the story wasn't staying working in the long run. Three I wanted to expand more and be able to work on certain characters and their back story. So, please enjoy this new take on Voyagers.
Long ago before the First Order, the Galactic Empire, the CIS, there was a ruthless Mandalorian cult. They were powerful, unstoppable, and bloodthirsty. Their ruler was Mandalor the Heartless. With every battle he won, he drew closer to launching an attack that would enslave the galaxy, but there were some who resisted. In a last-ditch effort to stop him, two Jedi Masters joined forces with two Sith Lords, bringing both Rebublic forces and Sith forces together. Mandalor the Heartless was defeated, but his body was never recovered.
Knowing that he his cult might one day rise to power, the four force wielders took his armor and war hammer and dismantled them before scattering them across the galaxy. And for three hundred years, all seemed fine, until the Clone Wars began.
On the planet of Nelvaan, there was a Nelvaanian girl born to the matriarch of the village. Her mother was overjoyed to be blessed with a beautiful daughter, so she was named Aleah. For four years, Aleah lived a wonderful life, but her peaceful was taken away the day her sister was born. Aleah only wanted to hold her sister, but as her mother turned to hand the baby to her, she tripped.
Aleah fearing for baby sister shot her hands out, and caught the baby in mid air. Her mother, the village elders and midwife stared in shock as Aleah looked just as shocked to see her baby sister floating in midair. That was the day Aleah learned she had a connection to the Force. And from that day, things only got worse for her.
Word had spread across the village and every time Aleah tried to go out it was all the same.
"She's a witch!" Some would call her. Sometimes it was, "She's a demon!". Poor Aleah had no idea why she was hated. She tried talking to her mother, but even mother would speak badly about her. Then one day, Aleah attacked by two Nelvaanian warriors just for bumping into another child while she was returning from fetching some water from the stream.
As the attack happened, Aleah felt all her rage that had been building up suddenly unleash. The two warriors thrown backwards as Aleah used the force to create a shock wave. The blast not only stopped her attackers, but also destroyed some of the huts and injured some of the villagers. After that she was labeled an outcast by her own tribe, including her own family.
She ran away to the sacred caves of Nelvaan, from her vantage point, all she could do was watch as the villagers went about their days, only stopping to look up at her and shout insults to her. Aleah would cry herself to sleep every night. Every day, her mother would bring her enough food to last the day, but she wouldn't even speak to her outcast daughter.
One day Aleah stopped her mother from leaving the cave after bringing her some food.
"Why?" she asked with tears running down her cheeks. "Why do everyone and including you hate me? Please tell me mother."
Aleah's mother just scoffed. "You know why," she said. "It's because you're a monster." Then she left her daughter.
"I am not a monster! I'm just different!" Aleah said, tears building up in her as her rage once again was unleashed. The walls of the cave shook violently as the angry Nelvaanian girl started destroying rocks in the caves as she saw the faces of her people who dared to reject her, especially her own mother and sister.
Down in the village, the people looked up in fear, worried that Aleah would cause a landslide. As Aleah released her anger, a dark sinister voice filled her mind. Those pathetic creatures are afraid of you because you are stronger than they are. They deserve to be punished for what they had done to you.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Aleah asked out loud.
I'm you. The voice said. And together we will make our people pay.
Now Aleah was afraid. "No! Stay away from me!" she cried. After that day, Aleah's mental health began to decline. The voices in her head would become louder, her connection to the force became unstable and her mother would bring her less and less food.
By the time she was sixteen, Aleah had turned into a feral beast. Only leaving her cave at night to steal scraps of food from the village. During the day she would stare down at the village, watching the people treat her sister like a queen. Many women would introduce their sons and hope that when Aleah's sister became of age she would take one as her mate.
This only angered Aleah and she turned away, cursing her sister. Later that day, something happened that would change her life for the better. Two ships had landed near the village and the warriors rushed out with the weapons at the ready.
From her vantage point, Aleah could see two hooded figures talk to the warriors and her mother. While one of the hooded figures returned their ship and left, the other journeyed up the mountain. The Nelvaanian girl back herself into the corner of the cave as the hooded figure entered. Aleah had no idea who this was.
The hooded figure pulled their hood the reveal a beautiful white female Twi'lek. The new comer than began to speak in the Nelvaan language. "Aleah, I am Jedi Master Daesha Eyan, I'm…"
"Afraid of me?" Aleah asked.
"No." Daesha replied softly.
"Well, you should be!" Aleah growled. "I'm Aleah. Aleah the monster. A monster no one wants." then the tears began to flow again.
The Twi'lek master could since the pain in Aleah's heart. So she offered her some much needed support. "You're not a monster. You're just a girl who wants to be loved."
Daesha then used the force to set up some tiles for them to play, but really she was doing this to see how strong Aleah was. "Shall we play?" she asked, levitating a tile towards the Nelvaanian.
"How?" Aleah asked at seeing someone else use the force.
Daesha smiled. "You're not the only one with the force in this galaxy."
Aleah reached to grab the floating piece only for it to snap in half. Daesha's right arm shot out and grabbed one of the pieces. She frowned and looked at Aleah. "You must learn to control your strength and anger."
And so the training began. Aleah tried her best, but she still couldn't control her temper as the dark side of the force kept calling to her. And so the weeks turned into months. Daesha was eventually able to help Aleah control her power and temper. Seeing this, the Twi'lek felt it was time to get the Nelvaanian some much needed TLC.
Taking Aleah by the hand, Daesha led the Nelvaanian girl down the mountain. As they passed the village, both seemed to notice that the people started to look rather happy. Aleah stopped when she saw her mother and sister whispering among each other with smiles on their faces, and this only saddened her. Aleah walked up to her family to say goodbye.
"Mother, sister, I don't know if I'll be able to forgive you, but I just want you to know that I'm leaving. So… Goodbye." she said returning to Daesha's side.
"Goodbye, Aleah," her sister shouted with a smile. "Don't come back ever."
Aleah gritted her teeth but kept on walking. Once inside the ship, Daesha handed her a collar. "What's this?" the Nelvaanian asked.
"Translator collar," Daesha said setting the ship on autopilot. "When you talk, it will make it sound like you're speaking basic."
As the ship took off from the ground, Aleah looked once more at the place she once called home. It was time for a new start in her life. The sound of the ship entering hyperspace frightened her, but the Twi'lek Jedi gave her a reassuring smile. Her soft eyes seemed to comfort Aleah and she leaned back in her seat to relax.
Not long after that, the ship exited hyperspace and found itself heading towards the luxury world known as Zeltros. Now, this was planet that everyone loved as it have everything one could ever want. If someone was to have fun, they could go to the amusement parks. You want the best cloths or food, Zeltros had some of the finest shops in the galaxy. And if someone wanted to engage in wild orgies or just relax with the most beautiful men and women, you could find that all here.
Once they landed Daesha led Aleah out and the minute she smell the air her body felt so relaxed and happy.
"There you are, Master Daesha," came the happy cries of a very beautiful Zeltron.
Aleah watched as Daesha the Zeltron both bowed to one another.
"Hello, Zee," Daesha said. "Is Mistress Luna ready for us?"
Zee smiled. "Yes," she said looking at Aleah. "You're friend here will be changed from a lump of coal into a diamond."
Aleah than was lead into a wonderful spa where was washed clean, given a hair style and fed the most tasty treats. For once in her life, Aleah had nothing but warm and happy thoughts. After the cleaning, the next stop was a boutique for some new cloths. Once the outfit was picked out, which was a simple but elegant silk gown, Daeshe knew it was time for the final step in Aleah's journey.
"Come with me, I'm going to take you to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant," Daesha said as Aleah followed her to her ship.
Meanwhile on Coruscant, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker returned from Ansion after settling a border dispute. Another Jedi Padawan, David Creed, ran up to the two as he hugged them. "It's so good to see you two back in one piece, Anakin and Obi-Wan," he said.
"Likewise, old friend," Anakin laughed.
"Had did it turn out, Master Kenobi?" David asked.
"Anakin was a bit reckless and unpredictable, but we managed to settle it," Obi-Wan said.
"Predictable. After all, I have bested him on piloting and swordsmanship during training." David said boasting about his so call accomplishments.
"Come on, it was just one time. You got lucky that time," Anakin said.
"And you're the one who destroyed the Trade Federation master control ship in Naboo ten years ago," David said.
"As much as we'd like to stay and talk, we have been assigned to protect Senator Amidala," Obi-Wan said.
"Pardon me, gentlemen. I mustn't keep you two waiting especially you, Anakin. May the Force be with you," David said as he bowed to them.
"You do the same, my friend," Anakin said.
"I will catch up on you later."
Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker was going up the elevator with his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi to Padme's room after the failed assassination attempt on her life. However, as it would turn out, this was only on the first of many advents before the Clone Wars started.
When Daeshe took Aleah before the Jedi council, they were not happy about how old Aleah was. Yoda however seemed to see something in the Nelvaanian, which made him ask her one question.
"Why should we let you become Jedi?"
Aleah looked at Yoda, her eyes narrowed as she studied the small master before her. After a brief moment of silence, she spoke. "I want to become Jedi to let go of the darkness I feel clawing at my heart."
The Jedi council seemed to like her answer. So, they gave Daeshe permission to take Aleah as her padawan.
Not long after that, Anakin would slaughter an entire village of Sand people after his mother died in arms. Obi-Wan chased bounty hunter Jango Fett from Kamino and ended up getting captured on Geonosis. His padawn would than come to rescue him along side Padme. That of course led them to be captured. This then made Jedi Master Mace Windu lead a rescue mission with over two hundred Jedi, sadly most of the rescue party was killed but later saved by the arrival of Master Yoda and the newly formed Clone army.
During the battle, Obi-Wan and Anakin dueled Count Dooku, resulting in them being defeated and Anakin loosing an arm. That was how the Clone Wars began.
A few months into the war, Aleah was taken on her first real mission with her Master Daesha. The objective was to secure a stolen cargo vessel containing vital information. Aleah and her master were successful, but Daesha noticed how aggressive was when dealing with the CIS forces that attacked them. The young Nelvaanian padawan even used force crush on a damaged battle droid that managed to wound Daesh.
This concerned the Twi'lek master to see Aleah use her rage, but she chose not to report this to the Jedi council.
In a different part of the galaxy, David Creed and his master, Shinji Yoshimitsu, a male Cathar, boarded one of Nex Slars's ships to free slaves that were about to be sold off to the Zygerrian Queen with the aid of clone troopers.
Now, Nex Slars was the most notorious space pirate throughout the galaxy. When he saw that slaves were being freed by the Jedi and most of his crew were being killed by Clone troopers, he pulled out his remaining crew and abandoned ship before David and Shinji could reach him.
"You will pay for this, Jedi!" Nex said to them through the intercom. However his threat had the exact opposite effect on the two Jedi.
David deactivated his lightsaber. "Nex, next time you enslave or hurt anymore innocent people, your life is mine."
"Padawan David, you fought well today. I'm so proud of you," Shinji said, but he still needed to scold David for his choice of words. "But you must remember, Jedi are keepers of the peace, not executioners."
"Forgive me, Master Shinji," David said. "You and Master Kenobi taught me in the art of swordsmanship and staff combat, I seem to forgot the lesson you taught me on mercy."
"Excuse me, who are you?" A teenage boy Mirialan named Danny asked.
"I'm David Creed, a Jedi Padawan. You are free to go, young man."
"Thank you," Danny said as he and the other slaves were taken back to Coruscant.
As the Clone wars raged on, Aleah continued to grow stronger in the force, her skills with a lightsaber also improved, but that was what bothered Deasha. Her padawan seemed to still be holding onto to some of her anger, refusing to let it go. However, the lovely Nelvaanian met two other padawans and became their friend. The first was Anakin Skywalker's padawan named Ahsoka Tano, who was a female Togruta.
The other was Jedi Master Luminara Unduli's padawan, Barriss Offee, a female Mirialan. The three of them spent a lot of time together in the Jedi Temple, but sadly, Barriss would turn traitor and betray the Republic by bombing the Jedi Temple and framing Ahsoka. When Ahsoka was proven innocent, she left the Jedi Order striking out on her own.
Aleah felt her circle of friends was falling apart, still, she had her master. Then one day while investigating a smuggling ring on the planet Akiva, Aleah stumbled upon what looked to be some sort of ancient temple. Without informing her master, she hurried inside to explore. What Aleah saw inside the amazed her. The place of filled with artifacts from both Sith and Jedi origin. Being very careful not to miss anything, the Nelvaanian looked at each piece to study it.
As she inspected an old lightsaber, a slight tremor in the force made Aleah looked a four statues in the back of the room. It was odd how they were positioned, it was as if they were all guarding something. Aleah stepped forward and noticed a holocron floating between the four. She didn't know how or why, but her hand moved on its own and took the holocron from it resting place.
Aleah looked closely at it, when suddenly…
"ALEAH! You disobeyed me!" Daesha shouted snatching the holocron from her hand. "I told you not to go anywhere without me!"
Aleah knew she was in trouble now. Not only had she wondered off, but her master could have been overpowered if the smugglers chose to attack. "Master, I'm sorry, I won't disobey you again." Aleah apologized, but Daesha was having none of it.
"We are returning to Coruscant!" The Twi'lek said. Aleah followed her master, silently regretting her actions. But what neither one would know was that when they reported their to the council, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine learned about the holocron. This was now the beginning to Aleah's troubles.
