Chapter 104: Orange League Tournament R2! Ash vs Roxie!
Hello everyone, this chapter will mainly focus on Ash's battle against Roxie, and I hope you all enjoy it!
The chapter begins the next day after the last chapter ended and it's currently 9am in the morning. Ash called Prof. Oak to switch out his Pokémon and when he did that, he headed out of the center to do some training. We come over to a nearby beach and see Ash's Pikachu along with Boldore looking at each other as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Boldore counter with Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Pikachu fires the electric bolt while Boldore fires the steel beam causing both attacks to collide and creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Now Pikachu use Iron Tail and Boldore use Rock Polish to dodge!" Ash calls. Out of the explosion appears Pikachu, he covers his tail in steel energy and goes to hit Boldore. Boldore's body shines brightly as he sharply increases his speed and dodges Pikachu's attack causing the mouse to hit the sand instead. Pikachu has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Boldore use Rock Smash and Pikachu Block!" Ash calls. Boldore instantly appears behind Pikachu, his right leg glows red and goes to hit the yellow mouse. Pikachu notices this and quickly brings up his arms blocking the attack. Pikachu's sent sliding back a few feet away then manages to stop himself and looks at Boldore with Boldore looking at him as Ash speaks.
"Okay Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Boldore counter with Flash Cannon!" Ash calls with the 2-mons nodding as they fire their attacks at each other which collide. When the 2 attacks collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. Pikachu's Thunderbolt begins to slowly push the Flash Cannon back as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, that's it! Pikachu, Boldore don't give up!" Ash says with the 2-mons nodding. Pikachu continues putting more power into his Thunderbolt making it harder for Boldore. Boldore doesn't want to lose so he digs deep and feels more power within himself as he speaks.
"BOL! DORE!" Boldore yells as suddenly his special attack power increases and then it's Flash Cannon turns a bright yellow beam that easily destroys the Thunderbolt and hits Pikachu creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears Pikachu's still standing but has scratches all over his body as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu are you okay?!" Ash asks with the yellow mouse nodding as Boldore comes over to Pikachu and asks if he's okay too with Pikachu saying that he is. Once that's done Ash speaks.
"I'm happy that Pikachu's okay but what was that move that Boldore used?" Ash questions as Tracey speaks.
"It's call Meteor Beam" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"Meteor Beam?" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"Oh, I've read about it. It's a move where the users special attack power increases then fires out a powerful beam." Leaf says with the others nodding as Misty speaks.
"Seems like Boldore didn't want to lose so he learned a new move" Misty says with Ash nodding as he looks at Boldore and speaks.
"That's great Boldore you learned a new move!" Ash says happily with Boldore nodding as Ash speaks.
"Okay Boldore let's try it again. Use Meteor Beam on that rock!" Ash says with Boldore nodding as he begins to concentrate and goes to fire the beam, but nothing comes out. Everyone has confused looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"Nothing happened." Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"But why?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.
"My guess is that Meteor Beam might be too powerful of a move for Boldore to use right now." Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"Well, that sucks because I was hoping to use it in my battle against Roxie." Ash says while having a sad look on his face as Tracey speaks.
"Well Ash there is one way that Boldore can master the move quickly" Tracey says making Ash look at him as he speaks.
"And what's that?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.
"By having Boldore evolve" Tracey says surprising the group as Ash speaks.
"Evolve?" Ash asks with Tracey nodding as he continues.
"Yes, because if Boldore evolves his body will be able to use Meteor Beam a lot easier and you'd be able to use it in your battle today too." Tracey says with Ash nodding as Leaf speaks.
"But how does Boldore evolve?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.
"By trading" Tracey responds with Leaf nodding as Misty speaks.
"That's easy" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"Yes, but this only works if Ash is okay with it as Boldore is his Pokémon after all." Tracey says with Leaf and Misty nodding as they look at Ash who's currently in thought. As Ash continues to think he looks at Boldore and speaks.
"What do you think Boldore do you want to evolve in order to learn Meteor Beam?" Ash asks as Boldore looks at Ash and nods with Ash nodding too as he speaks.
"Okay then let's do it" Ash says as Tracey speaks.
"I can help you with the trading Ash" Tracey says with Ash nodding as they all then run over to the Pokémon Center. When they make it, they head over to the trading machine, Ash returns Boldore back to his Pokeball and places the ball on the machine while Tracey places Venomoth's. Once they do that Tracey presses a button which turns the machine on, and the trading process begins. After they do the first trade, they then do another one which allows for both trainers to get their original Pokémon back. When the trading is over Ash picks up Boldore's Pokeball while Tracey picks up Venomoth's Pokeball and puts the ball back in his pocket. Ash continues to look at Boldore's Pokeball as Misty speaks.
"Don't you want to see your new Pokémon Ash?" Misty asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yep, come on let's go outside" Ash says with the group nodding as they head out of the Pokémon Center and begin running over to the beach. When they make it, Ash has Boldore's Pokeball in his hand and takes a deep breath. Ash then looks forward and goes to throw the ball as he speaks.
"Okay Come Out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and out of it appears his newly evolved Gigalith. Once the mon appears he has a serious look on his face as Tracey speaks.
"It worked" Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"Ash now has a Gigalith" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"So! Cool!" Leaf says with stars in her eyes as back over to Ash he looks at the mon and speaks.
"Gigalith, you evolved congratulations!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Gigalith nodding as he then gives Ash a look that says he wants to try using Meteor Beam again. Ash looks at Gigalith and nods as he speaks.
"Okay Gigalith let's try this again use Meteor Beam!" Ash calls with Gigalith nodding as he begins to concentrate. Gigalith feels his special attack power rising as a yellow ball appears in front of him. Gigalith looks at the yellow ball then roars as out of the ball appears a large yellow beam that hits the rock creating an explosion along with a strong gust of wind. Then once the wind and explosion disappear the group can see that the rock is completely destroyed. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Ash then looks at Gigalith and speaks.
"Wow that's amazing Gigalith now let's win today's battle" Ash says with Gigalith agreeing with him. After that Ash returns Gigalith back to his Pokeball as the group heads over to the Pokémon Center so that Ash can heal his Pokémon. Then once that's done, they begin heading over to the Orange League. Once they make it the battles begin in the 4 stadiums and there are explosions everywhere with multiple trainers and their Pokémon doing their best to win. We come over to stadium 4 and in the stands, we see Misty, Leaf, Tracey, along with Nemona, Hau, and Cameron (they've already won their battles). They look at the stadium where a battle just finished as Cameron speaks.
"Wow that battle was intense" Cameron says as Tracy speaks.
"Yep, and up next is Ash's battle" Tracey says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"It's too bad that Barry and Rinto are going to miss it because they have their battles at the same time as Ash's." Misty says as Nemona speaks.
"Yeah, Barry had a pretty big fit about it" Nemona says as Leaf speaks.
"You know I wonder what this Roxie person is like. Do you know Cameron?" Leaf asks while looking at the boy as Cameron speaks.
"Not really as all I've heard about her is that whenever a trainer challenges her sometimes, they're not able to get pass her first Pokémon." Cameron responds with Leaf nodding as Hau speaks.
"If that's true then Ash's going to have a really tough battle." Hau says as Misty speaks.
"Which knowing Ash he doesn't mind as the more challenging the better." Misty says with the group nodding as they then hear a voice.
"Now will trainers Roxie and Ash please come to the battlefield!" Jake says over the microphone and as soon as he does Ash along with Pikachu appear and begin walking over to the battlefield as Tracey speaks.
"There they are!" Tracey says happily while the others cheer. Back to Ash and Pikachu we see them make it to their side of the battlefield as Jake speaks.
"And now it's time for his opponent to appear!" Jake says and when he does suddenly purple smoke comes out of the hallway, and everyone begins to hear music. Everyone has confused looks on their faces as suddenly the smoke disappears revealing Roxie along with a teenage girl holding a guitar and a man with a drum set. Once they appear Roxie pulls out a Microphone and speaks.
"HELLO PUMMELO ISLAND! ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!" Roxie yells with the crowd cheering making Roxie happy as she speaks.
"Okay then let's rock!" Roxie says as she begins to play her guitar while the two behind her play their instruments as well. As that's happening the crowd is cheering as Jake speaks.
"Wow seems like the crowd is loving this" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Yes, just like in her battle yesterday Roxie makes a grand entrance" Don George says with Jake agreeing with him. Back on the battlefield Ash has a confused look on his face as he speaks.
"Well, I wasn't expecting this. What about you Pikachu?" Ash says as he looks at the yellow mouse and sees him dancing to the beat surprising Ash. A few seconds later Roxie along with her band then stops playing allowing for the crowd to cheer/clap for them as Roxie speaks.
"Thank you everyone!" Roxie says while waving at the crowd her band then goes away as she speaks.
"Man, nothing beats putting on a show" Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"So, does this mean that you're done?" Ash asks as Roxie looks at him and speaks.
"Yep, now that the crowd's pumped I'm ready to battle" Roxie responds making Ash excited as he speaks.
"Well in that case during the battle we're going to make them even more pumped!" Ash states making Roxie happy as she speaks.
"I like you already" Roxie says with Ash nodding as Jake speaks.
"Now it's time to see who'll be the referee for this battle!" Jake says as suddenly Rudy appears and is walking to the referee spot as Don George speaks.
"The referee for this battle is going to be Rudy the South Star of the Orange Crew and the Trovita Island Gym Leader!" Don George says as the crowd lets out a loud cheer with Rudy waving at them. Rudy also sees Misty in the stands and waves at her with Misty waving back. A couple seconds later Rudy makes it to the referee spot and looks at Ash while having a smile on his face with Ash smiling too. After that Rudy then looks forward and speaks.
"This is a full 6v6 single battle between trainers Ash and Roxie! Both trainers are allowed to substitute their Pokémon at any time and whoever defeats all of their opponents' Pokémon first will be declared the winner. Do both trainers understand?" Rudy asks with Ash and Roxie nodding as Rudy continues to speak.
"Now will both trainers please send out your first Pokémon!" Rudy says as Roxie pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"I'll go first. Weezing come out!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Weezing. When the mon appears, it has an excited look on its face as Ash speaks.
"So, a Weezing's first then I'll go with you." Ash says while looking at the ball and speaks.
"Gigalith, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Gigalith. When Gigalith appears, he lands on the battlefield and lets out a mighty roar. Once Gigalith's done roaring he looks over at Weezing with Weezing looking at him. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"I didn't know that Ash had a Gigalith" Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"That's because he just evolved his Boldore before this battle" Tracey says with Cameron nodding as Misty speaks.
"Go! Ash and Gigalith!" Misty along with Leaf, Poliwag, Togetic, Hau and Nemona cheer. Back on the battlefield Roxie looks at her Weezing and speaks.
"Weezing let's give them an explosive performance!" Roxie says with Weezing nodding as Ash speaks.
"Let's do this Gigalith!" Ash says with Gigalith nodding as he along with Weezing get into battle stances. The 2 mons along with their trainers look at each other as Rudy speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" Rudy says as Roxie speaks.
"We'll go first! Weezing use Sludge Bomb!" Roxie calls. Weezing immediately fires out multiple bombs of sludge out of its mouth that go to hit Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith counter with Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Gigalith roars as he stomps his 2 front feet on the ground and summons multiple large stone pillars that easily destroy the poison bombs and head for Weezing as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing use Gyro Ball!" Roxie calls. Weezing covers its body in steel energy and spins forward easily destroying the sharp stones. Weezing keeps going and is getting closer to Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Gigalith's right leg glows in red fighting energy and collides with Weezing. Once they collide Weezing tries its best to knock Gigalith's leg away, but Gigalith overpowers Weezing and sends the mon flying making it spin out of control as Ash speaks.
"Good job Gigalith! Now use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Gigalith covers his mouth in steel energy and fires out a steel beam that heads for Weezing as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing use Double Team to dodge!" Roxie calls. Before the Flash Cannon can hit Weezing the mon quickly creates multiple clones of itself and dodges the attack as Roxie speaks.
"Now use Gyro Ball!" Roxie calls. Weezing along with its clones' glow in steel energy and spin forward heading for Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Protect then when the real one appears use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls with Gigalith nodding as he summons a protective barrier. Weezing's clones make contact with the barrier first then disappear and once they're gone the real Weezing is about to make contact with the barrier as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing stop and use Flash!" Roxie calls surprising Ash as when Weezing's about to hit the barrier it suddenly comes to a stop and shines brightly blinding Gigalith along with Ash as Roxie speaks.
"Now use Toxic!" Roxie calls. Weezing spits out a toxic blob that makes contact with Gigalith causing the mon to cough as he's now poisoned. Ash then speaks.
"Gigalith hit Weezing with Flash Cannon!" "Weezing dodge then use Gyro Ball!" Both trainers' call. Gigalith looks at Weezing and fires out a steel beam that goes to hit the mon, but Weezing easily dodges the attack. Weezing then glows in steel energy spins forward and hits Gigalith causing super effective damage to him as Ash speaks.
"Use Flash Cannon!" 'Weezing Double Team then Sludge Bomb!" Both trainers' call. Gigalith fires out another steel beam that goes to hit Weezing, but the mon quickly makes multiple clones of itself and dodges the attack. Weezing then fires out multiple bombs of sludge that hit Gigalith causing damage to him as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding, but he then takes poison damage as back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Looks like Ash's Gigalith is in trouble" Cameron says as Hau speaks.
"That Weezing it's very fast making it difficult for Gigalith to land a hit on it." Hau says as Tracey speaks.
"Hopefully Ash thinks of something." Tracey says while Misty, Leaf, and Nemona continue to cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Ash's trying to think of how to stop Weezing's movements as Roxie speaks.
"Hey where's the momentum you had earlier? Because if you're not going to attack then we will. Weezing use Gyro Ball!" Roxie calls. Weezing nods as it glows in steel energy and shoots forward heading for Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith quick use Protect!" Ash calls. Gigalith quickly summons a protective barrier and stops Weezing in its tracks as the mon is then bounced away Ash speaks.
"Now use Stone Edge!" Ash calls and when Gigalith goes to use the move Roxie speaks.
"Weezing quick use Flash!" Roxie calls as Weezing stops itself and begins to glow Ash smiles and speaks.
"Gigalith quick use Sandstorm then Rock Polish!" Ash calls. Gigalith lets out a roar and summons a storm of sand that hits Weezing making it lose its concentration and covering the entire battlefield. Gigalith then sharply raises his speed as Jake then speaks.
"Ash has called for his Gigalith to use Sandstorm what is his plan?!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Hmmm maybe it's to weaken Weezing and slow it down" Don George says as inside the Sandstorm we see Weezing taking some damage from the sand as Roxie speaks.
"Seems like you want to gradually weaken Weezing's stamina how naive. Weezing blow this Sandstorm away with Clear Smog!" Roxie calls with Weezing nodding as it goes to use the move Ash speaks.
"Gigalith quick use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Suddenly a large sharp stone hits Weezing causing some damage to the mon making it so it can't use Clear Smog as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing fire a Sludge Bomb at where that Stone Edge came from!" "Gigalith dodge!" Both trainers' call. Weezing quickly fires out multiple bombs of sludge that go to hit Gigalith, but the mon easily evades the attack as Ash speaks.
"Now use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Inside the Sandstorm Gigalith fires out a steel beam that makes contact with Weezing creating an explosion as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing!" Roxie calls in worry as when the dust clears Weezing's groaning in pain and takes some Sandstorm damage. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.
"I get it so by using a combination of Sandstorm and Rock Polish. Ash's able to not only slow Weezing down but also gradually lower its health and after using Rock Polish which raised Gigalith's speed he's able to land his attacks before Weezing has a chance to dodge." Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"It also seems as though Gigalith's Stone Edge and Flash Cannon attacks did more damage to Weezing" Hau says as Nemona speaks.
"This is just a guess, but Ash's Gigalith probably has the Sand Force ability where when the user summons a Sandstorm their rock, ground, and steel type moves increase." Nemona says as Tracey speaks.
"Yes, you're right about that as Gigalith got that ability after evolving." Tracey says with Nemona nodding as Cameron speaks.
"This means that Gigalith can actually win this" Cameron says with the group nodding as they continue to cheer. Back on the battlefield Weezing continues to take more Sandstorm damage as Roxie speaks.
"Okay Weezing I think it's time to get rid of this Sandstorm. Use Double Team then Clear Smog!" Roxie calls. Weezing creates multiple clones of itself and when it does, they all begin to spin around while firing out a white smog that begins to get rid of the Sandstorm. The white smog heads for Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Block with Protect!" Ash calls. Gigalith quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. A few seconds later Clear Smog manages to get rid of the Sandstorm completely as Roxie speaks.
"Good job Weezing and now it's time for our counterattack." Roxie says with Weezing nodding as Ash speaks.
"I don't think so! Gigalith use Rockslide!" Ash calls. Gigalith lets out a roar as a portal appears above Weezing and out of it comes large boulders. Roxie's unable to tell Weezing to dodge in time as the boulders hit Weezing and send the mon crashing hard on the battlefield creating a dust cloud. When the dust cloud clears Weezing's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Okay Gigalith now use Rock Tomb!" "Weezing quick use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Gigalith roars and fires out multiple rocks at Weezing. When Weezing goes to use Double Team, it can't as it's flinching which allows for the rocks to hit Weezing causing damage to the mon and trapping it. Roxie has a surprised look on her face as Ash speaks.
"Okay Gigalith it's time to end this use Meteor Beam!" Ash calls. Gigalith takes some poison damage but then feels his special attack power increase as he summons a yellow ball in front of himself. Gigalith then roars as the yellow ball turns into a big yellow beam that heads for Weezing as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing quick use Gyro Ball to free yourself!" Roxie calls but was too late as the Meteor Beam hits Weezing and creates an explosion as Roxie speaks.
"Weezing!" Roxie calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Weezing laying on its back and is knocked out as Rudy speaks.
"Weezing's unable to battle Gigalith's the winner!" Rudy calls making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Great job Gigalith!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Gigalith nods. At Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer with the rock types cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium in the stands Ash's friends cheer too as back on the battlefield Roxie's surprised and a little sad that Weezing lost but then smiles and returns the mon back to its Pokeball. When she does that, she puts the ball away then looks over at Ash and speaks.
"Wow I got to say I wasn't expecting my Weezing to go down as I was certain that she would've defeated your Gigalith it sure is strong." Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, and your Weezing was strong too." Ash says with Roxie nodding as she speaks.
"Well then I think it's time that we keep the show going and my next Pokémon will help with that." Roxie says while holding her next Pokeball as she goes to throw it.
"Amoonguss, it's time to rock out!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and out of it appears a mushroom like Pokémon that lands on the battlefield. The mon looks forward as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash questions as he takes out his Pokedex to scan the mon.
"Amoonguss, the Mushroom Pokémon and a Grass/Poison Type. By swinging its Poké Ball-like arms while dancing, Amoonguss is able to lure its prey." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's what it is" Ash says to himself as he then looks over at Gigalith and sees the mon panting. Ash pulls out Gigalith's Pokeball and speaks.
"Gigalith return!" Ash says with Gigalith nodding as he goes back in his Pokeball Roxie speaks.
"Good call on returning your Gigalith" Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Thank you because this one will take down Amoonguss." Ash responds while holding his next Pokeball as he speaks.
"Lapras, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Lapras. When Lapras appears, she has a smile on her face and is ready to battle as Roxie speaks.
"So, a Lapras is his next Pokémon" Roxie says to herself as back in the stands Hau speaks.
"With Lapras's ice type moves Ash's sure to win" Hau says as Tracey speaks.
"True but don't forget that Lapras is part water type so Ash will need to watch out for Amoonguss's grass type moves." Tracey says with Hau nodding while the others cheer. Back on the battlefield Roxie looks at Amoonguss and speaks.
"Amoonguss let's rock!" Roxie says with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.
"Let's do this Lapras!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she along with Amoonguss get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Lapras let's attack first! Use Ice Beam!" Ash calls with Lapras nodding as she quickly fires out the icy beam that heads for Amoonguss Roxie speaks.
"How obvious. Amoonguss dodge then use Energy Ball!" Roxie calls. Amoonguss quickly jumps to the right and dodges the Ice Beam. Once Amoonguss lands it creates a ball of grassy energy and sends it towards Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras blow it away with Ice Beam!" Ash calls. Lapras quickly fires out another icy beam that easily pierces through the grassy ball and heads for Amoonguss as Roxie speaks.
"Amoonguss use Rollout!" Roxie calls. Amoonguss curls into a ball and shoots forward. Amoonguss collides with the Ice Beam and is easily going through it which surprises Ash. A couple seconds later Amoonguss hits Lapras hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Ash speaks.
"Lapras now that Amoonguss is close use Blizzard!" "Amoonguss quick use Spore then return!" Both trainers' call. When Lapras is about to fire the Blizzard Amoonguss quickly fires some spores in Lapras's face that makes her drowsy as she then goes asleep. Now that Lapras is asleep Amoonguss goes back in its Pokeball as Roxie pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Okay Toxtricity it's your turn!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends out a purple bipedal lizard like Pokémon that has an electric frill that goes from the top of its head to down on its back. The mon has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash says as he along with Leaf take out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Toxtricity, Amped Form the Punk Pokémon and an Electric/Poison type. Amped Form Toxtricity makes guitar sounds by clawing at the bumps on its chest while Low Key Form Toxtricity makes the sounds of a bass guitar." The Pokedex says while showcasing both forms as up in the stands Leaf speaks.
"Wow that's so cool! I got to catch my own!" Leaf says excitedly with Nemona agreeing with her as back on the battlefield Roxie speaks.
"Okay Toxtricity it's time to get the crowd more pumped! Use Overdrive!" Roxie calls as Ash speaks.
"What's Overdrive?" Ash questions and gets his answer as Toxtricity sparks its body. Toxtricity strums its protrusions on its chest, gains a yellow outline and sends out shock waves of yellow and blue electricity from its body that hits the sleeping Lapras. Lapras cries out in pain from the super effective attack as a few seconds later the electricity goes away as Ash speaks.
"Lapras are you okay?!" Ash asks the still sleeping Lapras who's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"I know that Lapras is weak to electric type moves but I didn't think that attack would do so much damage to her" Ash says as Roxie speaks.
"The reason Overdrive did so much damage is because of Toxtricity's ability Punk Rock which increases the power of sound-based moves." Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's why" Ash says as he then looks at Lapras and begins to think.
"It would be a bad idea for me to keep Lapras in I should switch her out for now" Ash says to himself as he pulls out Lapras's Pokeball and speaks.
"Lapras return!" Ash says as Lapras goes back in her Pokeball. Ash then pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Kingambit, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Kingambit. When the mon appears, he has a serious look on his face and looks at Toxtricity with the mon looking back. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Overdrive!" "Kingambit quick use Sucker Punch!" Both trainers' call. When Toxtricity goes to use its move Kingambit disappears then reappears in front of it and punches the mon hard in the face with his right fist. Toxtricity groans a little in pain then looks at Kingambit as Roxie speaks.
"Hit it back with Drain Punch!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity's right fist glows and punches Kingambit hard in the face causing damage along with taking his energy allowing for Toxtricity to heal itself. Ash then calls for his next command.
"Kingambit use Night Slash!" "Toxtricity use Screech!" Both trainers' call. Kingambit covers his right hand in dark energy and goes to hit Toxtricity, but the mon lets out a loud screech that stops Kingambit in his tracks. Kingambit is forced to cover his ears and can feel that his physical defense has been lowered as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Drain Punch again!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity's right fist glows and goes to punch Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit counter with Iron Head!" Ash calls. Kingambit covers the blade on his head in steel energy and collides with Toxtricity's fist creating an explosion. A couple seconds later we see the 2 mons appear out of the explosion and are sliding away from each other as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit use Giga Impact!" Ash calls. Kingambit manages to stop himself as he covers his body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward heading for Toxtricity as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Noble Roar!" Roxie calls. When Kingambit is about to hit Toxtricity the mon lets out a loud roar that stops Kingambit in his tracks. Kingambit can feel his physical attack and special attack power decreasing as Roxie speaks.
"Now use Boomburst!" Roxie calls. As Toxtricity continues to roar it fires out a big wave of sound from its mouth that hits Kingambit and sends the mon flying a few feet away as he crashes back on the battlefield Ash speaks.
"Kingambit!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Kingambit's laying on his back groaning in pain but then stands back up as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity return and Drapion come out and use Fire Fang!" Roxie says as she returns Toxtricity back to its Pokeball and sends out a Drapion. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as it covers its mouth with fire and jumps forward going to bite Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit dodge then use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Kingambit quickly jumps back dodging Drapion's attack causing the mon to bite the ground instead. Kingambit lands a few feet away, the blade on his head glows and begins firing out multiple slashes of wind at Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion blow them away with Brutal Swing!" Roxie calls. Drapion covers both of its arms in dark energy and begins to spin easily knocking the slashes of wind away. As Drapion continues to do that Ash calls for his next command.
"Kingambit use Swords Dance then Giga Impact!" Ash calls. Kingambit sharply increases his attack power, covers his body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward heading for Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion block!" Roxie calls. Once Drapion gets rid of all the slashes of wind it sees Kingambit coming and quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack. The force of Kingambit's Giga Impact sends Drapion sliding back a few feet away as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion use Swords Dance then Brick Break!" Roxie calls. Drapion manages to stop sliding and sharply increases its physical attack power. After that Drapion's left claw glows in white fighting energy and extends its arm forward going to hit Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit dodge then use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls Kingambit moves to the left and easily dodges the attack. Kingambit then begins to cover his mouth in steel energy as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion use Brick Break and Fire Fang!" Roxie calls. Extended high in the air is Drapion's right arm that begins heading for Kingambit. We see some fire traveling through the arm as it reaches Drapion's right claw and covers it in fire as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit dodge!" "Too late!" Both trainers' say as Drapion slams its right claw hard on Kingambit's head and sends the mon crashing face first onto the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit!" Ash calls in worry. We see Drapion's arms come back to it and when the dust clears Kingambit's lying on its stomach groaning in pain as Jake speaks.
"Roxie's Drapion has landed a hard blow to Kingambit can it continue!?" Jake says as everyone looks at Kingambit still groaning in pain but a couple seconds later he stands back up as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding as he looks at Drapion with Drapion looking back as Roxie speaks.
"Wow your Kingambit's tough usually an attack like that from Drapion is enough to defeat a trainers' Pokémon." Roxie says with Ash nodding as he begins to think.
"That attack did a lot of damage to Kingambit I should switch him out for now" Ash says to himself as he pulls out Kingambit's Pokeball and speaks.
"Kingambit return!" Ash says with the mon nodding as he goes back in his ball Ash puts the ball back on his belt. Ash then pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Gigalith come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and brings Gigalith back in. Once Gigalith appears he groans a little in pain from his battle earlier as in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Looks like Ash's Gigalith is tired." Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"Yeah, not only is he still tired from his battle against Weezing, but he's still poisoned too." Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"Why'd Ash decide to bring Gigalith back in?" Hau asks as Tracey speaks.
"Ash probably thinks that with Gigalith's bulk he should be able to take Drapion's attacks and deal damage to it." Tracey answers with Hau and the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Gigalith and speaks.
"Gigalith, I know that you're tired but hang in there!" Ash says with Gigalith nodding as he along with Drapion get into battle stances. Rudy then calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Sandstorm!" Ash calls. Gigalith lets out a roar and summons a large sandstorm that covers the entire battlefield and does some damage to Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"As expected," Roxie says while having a smile on her face as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Earthquake!" Ash calls. Gigalith stomps his 2 front feet on the ground causing the battlefield to shake as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion jump in the air to dodge!" Roxie calls. Drapion quickly jumps high in the air and dodges the move as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Gigalith creates a large sharp stone and sends it at Drapion which hits the mon and knocks it back down on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Earthquake again!" Ash calls. Gigalith takes some poison damage and is about to stomp his feet on the battlefield again as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion use Iron Tail!" Roxie calls. Drapion's tail glows in steel energy as it extends forward and hits Gigalith hard in the face causing super effective damage. Gigalith groans in pain as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith use Flash Cannon!" "Drapion dodge then use Sunny Day!" Both trainers' call. Gigalith recomposes himself and fires out a steel beam. Drapion manages to dodge the beam then roars to the sky summoning the harsh sun and gets rid of the sandstorm. Drapion then looks at Gigalith as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion use Pin Missile!" Roxie calls. Drapion points its arms forward and sends out multiple pin like missiles that head for Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Gigalith roars as he creates multiple stones around himself and sends them forward. The sharp stones are easily destroying the Pin Missiles and head for Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion return and Amoonguss come out and use Solar Beam!" Roxie calls surprising Ash as Drapion goes back in its Pokeball. Roxie throws another ball forward and sends in Amoonguss who fires out a big Solar Beam. The grassy beam easily destroys the sharp stones and heads for Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith dodge!" Ash calls but was too late as the Solar Beam hits Gigalith and creates an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Gigalith!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Gigalith laying on his stomach and is knocked out. Rudy then makes the call.
"Gigalith's unable to battle Amoonguss is the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Roxie and Amoonguss to cheer. Over with Ash he returns Gigalith back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once Ash puts the ball away, he pulls out his next Pokeball, looks forward and speaks.
"Lapras come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Lapras back in. Once Lapras appears she's still fast asleep as Jake speaks.
"Ash has brought his Lapras back in but it's still asleep!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Roxie speaks.
"You brought your sleeping Lapras back in?" Roxie asks as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and don't worry she's not going to stay asleep for long!" Ash states while having a confident smile on his face as Roxie smirks and speaks.
"In that case I'll just have to beat it before it wakes up." Roxie says as her Amoonguss gets in a battle stance Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Lapras use Refresh then Ice Beam!" Ash calls but when he does Lapras doesn't use the move as she's still asleep surprising the boy as in the stands Nemona speaks.
"That's strange when Ash had his Lapras use refresh before in our battle it woke up right away." Nemona says as Tracey speaks.
"I'm guessing that Ash got lucky that time" Tracey says as Cameron speaks.
"But this means that now Lapras is just a sitting Ducklett" Cameron says with the group nodding as back on the battlefield Roxie speaks.
"So, that's what you meant by Lapras not staying asleep for long, but it seems like it's not waking up anytime soon." Roxie says as Ash looks at Roxie who has a smile on her face and speaks.
"Since your Lapras isn't waking up I'll now use this chance for Amoonguss to beat it. Amoonguss use Solar Beam!" Roxie calls. Amoonguss fires out a big beam that heads for Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras dodge!" Ash calls but Lapras is still fast asleep allowing for the Solar Beam to hit her creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Lapras!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears, we see the still sleeping Lapras groaning in pain as Roxie speaks.
"Good job Amoonguss and now it's time to finish it off. Use Rollout then Solar Beam!" Roxie calls. Amoonguss curls its body in a ball, shoots forward and hits Lapras hard in the face causing super effective damage. Amoonguss then points both of its arms at Lapras and is about to fire the beam as Ash speaks.
"Lapras quick use Refresh then Blizzard!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say but Lapras is still asleep as Roxie speaks.
"This is the end for your Lapras. Do it Amoonguss!" Roxie calls as Amoonguss roars and fires out a large grassy beam that consumes the still sleeping Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras!" Ash says as we now come over to Lapras and head inside her mind. Lapras feels pain all over her body and wants to wake up but is having a hard time and feels as though she's going to faint. Before Lapras faints, she begins to hear Ash's and Pikachu's voices telling her to wake up. Not wanting to disappoint her trainer and teammate Lapras gets a determined look on her face and begins trying to wake up. We now come out of Lapras's mind and still see her consumed in the Solar Beam. But then a couple seconds later Lapras opens her eyes and breaks out of the beam surprising Roxie along with Amoonguss. Ash along with Pikachu have smiles on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Great job Lapras you finally woke up. Now use Blizzard!" Ash calls. Lapras lets out a loud roar and summons a big Blizzard that connects with Amoonguss and causes super effective damage to the mon. A couple seconds later the Blizzard stops, and it's revealed that Amoonguss is frozen in ice as Roxie speaks.
"Amoonguss!" Roxie says while looking at the frozen mon as Ash speaks.
"Okay Lapras it's time to finish this!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she then roars to the sky and when she does large Icicles appear as Roxie speaks.
"It learned Icicle Spear?!" Roxie says in surprise as Ash speaks.
"Amazing Lapras you learned a new move! Now! Finish Amoonguss off with Icicle Spear!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as Lapras continues to roar and the large Icicles come crashing down on the frozen Amoonguss creating an explosion. Then when the explosion clears, the Sunny Day goes away as everyone can see Amoonguss laying on its back and is knocked out. Rudy then makes the call.
"Amoonguss is unable to battle Lapras is the winner!" Rudy calls making Ash happy as he speaks.
"Yeah!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu and Lapras cheer as Jake speaks.
"After a big struggle Ash's Lapras has defeated Amoonguss!" Jake says allowing for the crowd to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch we see Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheering too with the water/ice types cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium in the stands Misty, Leaf, and Nemona speak.
"They did it!" The 3 girls along with Togetic and Poliwag cheer as Hau speaks.
"I'm surprised that Lapras managed to beat Amoonguss I was sure that it was going to faint." Hau says with Cameron saying the same thing as Tracey speaks.
"It took a while, but it seemed like Ash and Pikachu's words made it to Lapras which caused her to forcefully wake herself up and defeat Amoonguss." Tracey says with the 2 boys nodding. Back on the battlefield Roxie returns Amoonguss back to its ball and tells the mon thank you. Once she puts the ball away, she looks forward and sees Ash celebrating as he looks at Lapras and speaks.
"Great job Lapras I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Lapras nodding as she smiles Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity come out!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends Toxtricity back in. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.
"So, she brought Toxtricity back out." Ash says as he looks at Lapras who gives Ash a look that tells him that she wants to continue. Ash nods as he looks forward and speaks.
"Okay Lapras let's keep going!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she along with Toxtricity get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Roxie speaks.
"Use Overdrive!" "Lapras counter with Blizzard!" Both trainers' call. Toxtricity along with Lapras roar as they fire their attacks at each other which collide and create an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Lapras use Icicle Spear!" Ash calls. Lapras roars to the sky and summons multiple large icicles that head for Toxtricity as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity dodge!" Roxie calls with the mon nodding as it begins to easily dodge the icy spears. After Toxtricity dodges all of them suddenly Lapras appears in front of the mon as Ash speaks.
"Lapras use Waterfall!" Ash calls. Lapras quickly covers her body in water and hits Toxtricity doing some damage to the mon as it then begins to spark its body Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Overdrive!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity lets out a roar and sends out a big wave of electricity that hits Lapras making her cry out in pain as there's then an explosion Ash speaks.
"Lapras!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Toxtricity standing while looking at Lapras who's laying on her stomach and is knocked out. Rudy then makes the call.
"Lapras is unable to battle Toxtricity's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Roxie and Toxtricity to cheer. On the other side of the battlefield Ash returns Lapras back to her Pokeball and tells her thank you. Ash then pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Kingambit come out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Kingambit back in. Once the mon appears he groans in pain for a little bit then glows as he can feel his physical attack and special attack power increase. Kingambit then looks at Toxtricity and has a serious look on his face with Toxtricity having the same look as Roxie speaks.
"So, his Kingambit has the Supreme Overlord ability, and it activated after his Lapras and Gigalith were defeated." Roxie says as she smiles and speaks.
"This is getting exciting let's keep going Toxtricity!" Roxie says as she plays her guitar for a little bit with Toxtricity nodding as it along with Kingambit get into battle stances. Rudy then calls for the battle to continue as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity let's start off with Noble Roar!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity lets out a roar that goes to connect with Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit dodge then use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Kingambit moves to the right and dodges the move. Kingambit then covers his mouth in steel energy and fires out a steel beam that heads for Toxtricity as Roxie speaks.
"Intercept it with Boomburst!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity roars as it fires out a big wave of sound that collides with the Flash Cannon creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Kingambit who's now in front of Toxtricity as Roxie speaks.
"Use Drain Punch!" "Kingambit use Kowtow Cleave!" Both trainers' call. Toxtricity's left fist glows and goes to hit Kingambit, but the mon quickly gets in a kowtowing stance which causes Toxtricity to stop. Toxtricity has a confused look on its face as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity don't stop it's a trap!" "Too late! Do it Kingambit!" Both trainers' call. Before Toxtricity can punch Kingambit the mon covers his blade in dark energy and swings upward hitting Toxtricity. Toxtricity groans in pain from the attack as Roxie speaks.
"Hit it back with Overdrive!" Roxie calls. Before Ash can tell Kingambit to dodge Toxtricity sparks its body and roars sending out a big wave of electricity that hits Kingambit and creates an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit!" Ash calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Kingambit who's sent flying a few feet away landing on his back. Kingambit groans in pain as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Overdrive one more time!" Roxie calls. Toxtricity sparks its body again and lets out a roar sending out a big wave of electricity that heads for Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit break through it with Giga Impact!" Ash calls. Kingambit manages to stand back up, he covers his body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward. Kingambit collides with the Overdrive and begins to go through the move as Ash speaks.
"Yeah! That's it Kingambit!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity more power!" Roxie calls as Toxtricity roars and increases the power of its Overdrive making it harder for Kingambit to push through and damage him as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit don't give up!" Ash says with Kingambit nodding as he lets out a roar increasing the power of his Giga Impact. Kingambit manages to break through the Overdrive and hits Toxtricity causing damage to it as Ash speaks.
"Yes, the attack landed!" Ash says happily as he then notices Kingambit's blade starting to glow in psychic energy as Ash begins to think.
"That attack it's." Ash says to himself as he smiles and speaks.
"Okay Kingambit it's time to end this with your new move. Use Zen Headbutt!" Ash calls surprising Roxie as the blade on top of Kingambit's head glows in psychic energy Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity use Overdrive again!" Roxie calls but it's too late as Kingambit slashes Toxtricity doing super effective damage to the mon and causing it to fall on its back as Roxie speaks.
"Toxtricity!" Roxie calls in worry as Rudy looks at Toxtricity, sees that the mon can't battle anymore and makes the call.
"Toxtricity's unable to battle Kingambit's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Kingambit to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the steel and dark types cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium in the stands Hau speaks.
"Nice he managed to take down her Toxtricity." Hau says as Tracey speaks.
"I'm surprised that Kingambit managed to learn Zen Headbutt" Tracey says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Roxie returns Toxtricity back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. She then puts the ball away as she looks forward and speaks.
"You managed to take down my Toxtricity. Not bad." Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, and we're going to take down the rest of your Pokémon!" Ash states with Kingambit agreeing with him as Roxie smiles and speaks.
"Okay then let's see how you'll handle this one. Scolipede you're next!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends out a Scolipede. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face and looks at Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"So, a Scolipede's next" Ash says as he looks at Kingambit and speaks.
"Kingambit, do you want to continue?" Ash asks with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.
"Okay let's keep going!" Ash says with Kingambit nodding as he along with Scolipede get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit use Air Slash!" Ash calls. The blade on top of Kingambit's head glows and begins firing out multiple slashes of wind that head for Scolipede as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede dodge then use Rock Tomb!" Roxie calls. Scolipede manages to easily dodge the slashes of wind then summons 4 large boulders around itself and fires them at Kingambit as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit get rid of them with Iron Head!" Ash calls. The blade on Kingambit's head glows in steel energy as he slashes the boulders and gets rid of them. Once he does that Scolipede is suddenly in front of the mon as Roxie speaks.
"Use Superpower!" "Kingambit dodge!" Both trainers' call. Kingambit's unable to dodge in time as Scolipede gains a red outline and its body bulks up. Scolipede then hits Kingambit and creates an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Kingambit!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Scolipede looking at an unconscious Kingambit who's laying on his back. Rudy then makes the call.
"Kingambit's unable to battle Roxie's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Roxie and Scolipede to cheer. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Darn Kingambit lost" Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"He put up a good fight but was already worn out from his battles with Toxtricity and Drapion." Tracey says with Cameron nodding as Hau speaks.
"They both now have 3 Pokémon left." Hau says as Leaf speaks.
"Yep, and Ash's going to win" Leaf states as she along with Misty, Nemona, Togetic and Poliwag continue to cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Kingambit back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ash then looks forward and begins to think.
"Her Scolipede's pretty fast so I'll go with you" Ash says to himself while pulling out his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Dudunsparce, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Dudunsparce. When the mon appears, he has an excited look on his face and is ready to battle. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.
"Smart thinking on Ash's part as Dudunsparce should be able to match Scolipede's speed." Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Roxie looks at Ash's Dudunsparce and thinks.
"So, a Dudunsparce is his next Pokémon." Roxie says to herself as she looks at Scolipede and speaks.
"Scolipede I'm keeping you in." Roxie says with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce let's do this!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Dudunsparce nodding as he along with Scolipede get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede use Sludge Bomb!" Roxie calls. Scolipede fires out multiple bombs of sludge that head for Dudunsparce as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce counter with Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce creates multiple sharp stones around himself then fires them forward as they easily destroy the poison bombs and head for Scolipede as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede dodge!" Roxie calls. Scolipede jumps to the right and avoids the attack as Ash speaks.
"Okay Dudunsparce use Drill Run!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Scolipede as Roxie speaks.
"Stop it with Screech!" Roxie calls. Scolipede lets out a loud screech that causes Dudunsparce to stop as he then feels his physical defense decrease. Roxie calls for her next command.
"Use Toxic!" "Dudunsparce use Dig to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Scolipede shoots out a toxic blob that goes to hit Dudunsparce, but the mon quickly digs underground and dodges the attack. A couple seconds later Dudunsparce appears from underneath Scolipede and hits the mon causing super effective damage as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede use Screech then Superpower!" Roxie calls. Scolipede lets out a loud screech that connects with Dudunsparce and greatly lowers his physical defense. After that Scolipede gains a red outline, shoots forward and hits Dudunsparce causing super effective damage. Dudunsparce is sent flying and crashes on the battlefield a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Dudunsparce groans a little in pain but can still battle. Suddenly Dudunsparce begins to cough as he's now poisoned, surprising Ash as he speaks.
"Dudunsparce is poisoned meaning that her Scolipede probably has the Poison Point ability." Ash says to himself while Roxie has a smile on her face and calls for her next command.
"Now use Venom Drench!" Roxie calls. Scolipede fires a poison blob that connects with Dudunsparce and when it does the mon can feel his physical attack, special attack and speed lower. Ash then calls for his next command.
"Dudunsparce use Drill Run!" Ash calls with the mon nodding as he turns into a drill, shoots forward and hits Scolipede. Scolipede's sent sliding back a few feet away then when it stops it groans a little in pain then looks at Dudunsparce. Up in the stands Leaf speaks.
"It looks like that Drill Run didn't do much" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"That's because since Dudunsparce is poisoned Venom Drench was able to decrease his attack, special attack, and speed." Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"And now that Dudunsparce's poisoned he'll either faint from that or from one of Scolipede's attacks" Hau says with the others nodding as they continue watching the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash sees Dudunsparce take poison damage as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede let's keep up the pressure! Use Sludge Bomb!" Roxie calls. Scolipede fires out multiple bombs of sludge that head for Dudunsparce as Ash speaks.
"Blow them away with Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce creates multiple sharp stones around himself and shoots them forward causing them to collide with the Sludge Bombs creating an explosion as Roxie speaks.
"Use Superpower!" Roxie calls. Out of the smoke appears Scolipede who's heading for Dudunsparce as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce dodge!" Ash calls. When Dudunsparce goes to dodge the poison stops him making him cough as this allows for Scolipede to hit Dudunsparce causing more damage to the mon and sending him flying. Dudunsparce lands back on the battlefield a few feet away and when the dust clears, he's groaning in pain as Roxie speaks.
"Okay Scolipede it's time we end this. Use Superpower one more time!" Roxie calls. Scolipede roars as it jumps forward and goes to hit Dudunsparce again. As Scolipede's getting closer Ash smiles and speaks.
"Sorry Roxie but we're not done yet. Dudunsparce dodge and use Endeavor!" Ash calls "It knows Endeavor?!" Roxie says in surprise as when Scolipede goes to hit Dudunsparce the mon manages to dodge. Dudunsparce then glows, shoots forward and hits Scolipede causing major damage to the mon and sending it flying as it lands on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"What's Endeavor?" Cameron asks as Tracey speaks.
"Endeavor is a move where if the user using it has low health and hits their opponent. Then their opponent's health will drop and be equal to the user." Tracey says with Cameron nodding as Hau speaks.
"So, Ash knew that the best way for Dudunsparce to do more damage to Scolipede was to use Endeavor since Dudunsparce's attack power got lowered." Hau says with Tracey nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield when the dust clears, we see Scolipede lying on its right-side groaning in pain as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede are you okay?!" Roxie asks as the mon stands back up and nods but does groan a little in pain as Ash begins to think.
"Looks like that wasn't enough to take Scolipede down and it doesn't look like Dudunsparce's going to last much longer I need to end this now." Ash says to himself as he calls for his next command.
"Dudunsparce use Dig!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce groans from poison damage then digs underground heading for Scolipede as Roxie speaks.
"Scolipede back away then use Superpower!" Roxie calls. Scolipede can feel Dudunsparce moving underneath the ground then quickly jumps back as Dudunsparce appears from the ground. Once Scolipede lands it bulks up its body, gains a red outline, and jumps forward going to hit Dudunsparce as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce block with Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce quickly summons a large sharp stone from the ground causing Scolipede to hit it and making the mon stumble a little bit. After that Ash sees his chance and speaks.
"Okay Dudunsparce use Hyper Drill!" "Scolipede use Sludge Bomb!" Both trainers call. Dudunsparce groans from poison damage again, but he points his tail forward, becomes a drill and heads for Scolipede. Scolipede doesn't have time to fire the sludge bombs as Dudunsparce manages to hit it in the chest. Scolipede coughs in pain as it's then sent flying going past Roxie and crashing into the wall behind her. Roxie looks over at Scolipede and sees the mon laying on the ground knocked out. Rudy looks at Scolipede then makes the call.
"Scolipede's unable to battle Dudunsparce's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Dudunsparce to cheer as Jake speaks.
"After a tough battle Ash's Dudunsparce managed to beat Scolipede!" Jake says as the crowd begins to cheer. Back on Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon let out a loud cheer with Dartrix, Melmetal, Skeledirge, Noctowl, and Snorlax cheering the loudest. Back in the stadium Ash's friends cheer too. On the battlefield Roxie returns Scolipede back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once she puts the ball away, we come over to Ash who looks at Dudunsparce and speaks.
"Great job Dudunsparce I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Dudunsparce nodding as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion come out!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends her Drapion back in. Once the mon appears it has a serious look on its face and looks at Dudunsparce with the mon looking back as Ash speaks.
"Drapion's back in." Ash says as he looks at Dudunsparce and speaks.
"Dudunsparce, do you want to continue?" Ash asks with the mon nodding as Ash nods too and speaks.
"Okay's let's continue!" Ash says with Dudunsparce nodding as he along with Drapion get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce roars as he summons multiple large sharp stones around himself then fires them at Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Get rid of them with Brutal Swing!" Roxie calls. Drapion covers its arms in dark energy and spins easily destroying the sharp stones as Ash speaks.
"Now use Endeavor!" Ash calls. Dudunsparce's body glows then shoots forward going to hit the still spinning Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion dodge then use Brick Break!" Roxie calls. As Dudunsparce's getting closer Drapion stops spinning as he moves to the left and dodges Dudunsparce's attack. Drapion's right arm then glows white as it then chops down hard on Dudunsparce's back causing the mon to crash hard on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Dudunsparce!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Drapion looking at an unconscious Dudunsparce. Rudy then makes the call.
"Dudunsparce's unable to battle Drapion's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Roxie and Drapion to cheer. Ash returns Dudunsparce back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ash then looks forward and begins to think.
"I need to use a Pokémon that can deal with Drapion's attacks and you're the perfect one." Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Muk, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Muk. Once Muk appears he has a serious look on his face and is ready to battle as Roxie speaks.
"A Muk's his next one" Roxie says as she then smiles and speaks.
"Your Muk looks strong Ash, but it stands no chance against Drapion!" Roxie says with Drapion agreeing as Ash speaks.
"We'll see about that. Let's do this Muk!" Ash says with Muk nodding as he along with Drapion get into battle stances. Rudy calls for the battle to continue as Roxie and Ash speak.
"Use Sludge Bomb!" Both trainers' call. Drapion along with Muk roar and fire multiple bombs of sludge from their mouths that meet in the middle of the battlefield and collide creating multiple explosions. A couple seconds later the explosions stop and there's now a big cloud of smoke in the middle of the battlefield as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion grab Muk!" Roxie calls. Out of the smoke Drapion's arms appear and latch onto Muk's body gripping the sludge monster tightly. Then when the smoke disappears Ash along with Muk see Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion use Swords Dance then Fire Fang!" Roxie calls. Drapion roars as it sharply increases its physical attack power. After that its teeth are covered in fire but then the fire begins traveling down Drapion's arms and head for Muk as Ash speaks.
"Muk quick use Mud Slap!" Ash calls. Muk quickly fires out mud from his mouth that hits Drapion in the face causing his grip on Muk to loosen as Ash speaks.
"Now Muk dodge the Fire Fang then use Focus Blast!" Ash calls. Just when the Fire Fang is about to connect with Muk the sludge monster quickly backs away and avoids the attack. Muk lands a few feet away then quickly charges a Focus Blast and fires it towards Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion knock it away with Brick Break!" Roxie calls. Drapion quickly retracks its arms, covers its hands in white energy and slams them down on the Focus Blast knocking it on the battlefield. When Drapion does that there's then a big explosion as Ash speaks.
"Muk use Fire Blast!" Ash calls. Muk heats up his mouth and fires out a big blast of fire that appears from the smoke and hits Drapion creating an explosion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion!" Roxie calls in worry as when the smoke clears Drapion has some scratches on its body but can still battle. Then a couple seconds later Drapion becomes consumed in fire. Roxie has a surprised look on her face as Don George speaks.
"Looks like Fire Blast's effect has activated and now Drapion has the burn status." Don George says as back on the battlefield the fire consuming Drapion disappears with the mon groaning in pain allowing for Ash to call for his next command.
"Muk let's keep up the pressure use Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls. Muk roars and fires out multiple bombs of sludge at Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Knock them away with Brutal Swing then use Night Slash!" Roxie calls. Drapion quickly covers its arms in dark energy and spins easily knocking the Sludge Bombs away. After that Drapion then extends its arms forward and goes to hit Muk as Ash speaks.
"Muk grab Drapion's arms!" Ash calls. Muk nods and manages to easily grab Drapion's arms surprising Roxie as Ash speaks.
"Okay Muk use Fire Blast!" "Drapion dodge!" Both trainers' call. Muk heats up his mouth and fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Drapion. Just when Drapion's about to try and dodge it then gets consumed in fire again allowing for the Fire Blast to hit it creating an explosion. When the smoke clears Drapion's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Use Fire Blast one more time!" Ash calls with Muk nodding as he goes to use the move again Roxie speaks.
"Use Iron Tail!" Roxie calls. Drapion covers its tail in steel energy and sticks it underground. Drapion's tail quickly travels through the ground until it appears from under Muk and upper cuts him. This forces Muk to stop using Fire Blast and let go of Drapion's arms as Roxie speaks.
"Good job Drapion now use Swords Dance then Brutal Swing!" Roxie calls. Drapion sharply increases its physical attack power again, covers its arms in dark energy and spins fast hitting Muk hard in the face. Muk is sent sliding back a few feet away and is groaning in pain but can still continue as Ash speaks.
"Muk use Focus Blast!" Ash calls. Muk puts his hands together, concentrates and fires out a big blast of fighting energy that heads for Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"That's not going to work! Drapion knock it away with Brick Break then use Night Slash!" Roxie calls. Drapion covers its left hand in white energy and swings it easily knocking the Focus Blast away. After that both of Drapion's hands glow in dark energy as the mon then extends them forward going to hit Muk as Ash smiles and speaks.
"You just fell for our trap. Muk use Knock Off then use Acid Spray!" Ash calls. Muk covers both of his hands in dark energy and swings them out easily knocking away Drapion's arms. Muk then takes a deep breath and fires out a spray of acid that hits Drapion in the face causing damage to the mon. Drapion groans in pain and can feel its special defense decreasing as Ash speaks.
"Okay Muk now use Gunk Shot!" Ash calls. Muk summons a big trash can and throws it at Drapion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion knock it away with Iron Tail!" Roxie calls. When Drapion goes to do that, it then becomes consumed in fire making it roar in pain and allowing for the Gunk Shot to hit it. There's then a big explosion as Roxie speaks.
"Drapion!" Roxie calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Drapion laying on its back knocked out as Rudy makes the call.
"Drapion's unable to battle Muk's the winner!" Rudy calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu, and Muk to cheer with the crowd cheering as well. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too. Back at the stadium we head over to the stands as Misty speaks.
"They did it!" Misty says happily as Leaf speaks.
"Yep, and now Roxie just has one more Pokémon left while Ash still has two." Leaf says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Muk and speaks.
"Way to go Muk and let's keep this up for the final one" Ash says with Muk nodding. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Roxie returns Drapion back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. When she does, she looks over at Ash and speaks.
"You're a really strong trainer Ash this battle has been super hype!" Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, we've been enjoying the battle too." Ash says with Muk agreeing with him making Roxie smile as she speaks.
"But even though this battle has been fun it has to come to an end at some point and my last one will be the one who does it." Roxie says while holding her last Pokeball in her hand while having a smile on her face as Ash speaks.
"She's finally going to bring out her last Pokémon." Ash says to himself as Roxie speaks.
"It's time to finish this battle in earnest! Explode, Garbodor!" Roxie says as she throws the ball forward and sends out a Garbodor. When the mon appears, it lands on the battlefield and lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave along with a strong wind showcasing its power. Then when the mon is done roaring it looks at Muk and has a serious look on its face with Muk having a serious look too as Ash speaks.
"So, her final Pokémon is a Garbodor." Ash says as back in the stands Misty speaks.
"A Garbodor's her last Pokémon" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"It looks even bigger than the one that Ash battled during the battle club tournament." Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"Meaning that Ash is going to have a tough fight." Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Garbodor and begins to think.
"This Garbodor I can feel that it's really strong I'll need to be careful." Ash says to himself as he looks at Muk and speaks.
"Muk let's do this!" Ash says with Muk roaring as he along with Garbodor get into battle stances. Rudy then calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Use Fire Blast!" Ash calls. Muk covers his mouth with fire and fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Garbodor as Roxie speaks.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Roxie calls. Garbodor fires out a dark stream of poison that collides with the Fire Blast creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Now use Acid Spray!" Ash calls. Muk quickly fires out a spray of acid that heads for Garbodor as Roxie speaks.
"Knock it away then use Double Slap!" Roxie calls. Garbodor swings out its right hand and easily knocks the Acid Spray away. Garbodor's left hand then glows and shoots it forward as it slaps Muk two times hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Ash speaks.
"Muk use Gunk Shot!" Ash calls. Muk summons a big trash can then throws it at Garbodor as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor counter with your Gunk Shot!" Roxie calls. Garbodor summons its own big poison trash can and throws it forward causing it to collide with Muk's as there's then an explosion. When the explosion happens there's also a strong wind that tries to push Muk back as Roxie speaks.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Roxie calls as out of the explosion appears a dark stream of energy that hits Muk hard in the face causing more damage to him as Roxie calls for her next command.
"Now use Gunk Shot!" "Muk dodge!" Both trainers' call. Garbodor summons a big trash can and throws it at Muk. Muk's unable to dodge because he's flinching from the Dark Pulse which allows for the Gunk Shot to hit him creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Muk!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Muk laying on his stomach knocked out as Rudy speaks.
"Muk's unable to battle Garbodor's the winner!" Rudy says allowing for Roxie and Garbodor to cheer with the crowd cheering as well. Up in the stands Leaf speaks.
"They now both have one Pokémon left" Leaf says with the group nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Muk back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ash then puts the ball back on his belt and when he does that Roxie speaks.
"Seems like we both have one Pokémon left so who's your last one?" Roxie asks as Ash speaks.
"My last one? Here let me show you" Ash says while pulling out his last Pokeball as he goes to throw it and speaks.
"Pignite, I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Pignite. When the mon appears, he has a smile on his face and is ready to battle as Jake speaks.
"Ash's final Pokémon is a Pignite!" Jake says with the crowd looking on curiously as in the stands Cameron speaks.
"A Pignite is his final Pokémon?" Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"Yes, when coming up with a team for this battle Ash wanted to use Pignite as he felt as though he'd be good pick for this match." Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"But how come Ash didn't bring Pignite in against either Amoonguss or Scolipede?" Hau asks as Leaf speaks.
"Ash probably thought it was best to use Lapras and Dudunsparce against those opponents instead and wanted to save Pignite for later." Leaf responds with Hau nodding as back on the battlefield Roxie looks at Pignite and speaks.
"So, a Pignite's your final Pokémon I wasn't expecting that. I'm also surprised that you didn't send it in earlier." Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I thought about sending Pignite in earlier especially against Amoonguss and Scolipede, but I figured that it was best to save him for later and I'm happy I did because he's fresh and ready to battle." Ash responds with Pignite agreeing with him with Roxie nodding as she speaks.
"That makes sense, and it seems strong too" Roxie says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, Pignite trains with my other fire and fighting types so he's really strong and is going to win this battle!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as Pignite shoots out some fire out of his nose agreeing with his trainer and Pikachu. Roxie has a smile on her face as she speaks.
"That's great to hear because for this final battle let's make it more exciting that it stirs up the crowd!" Roxie says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"You got it!" Ash says making Roxie smile as their Pokémon then get into battle stances. The battlefield is now silent as the 2 trainers along with their Pokémon wait for the battle to begin Rudy speaks.
"This is the final battle both trainers have one Pokémon left. Whoever defeats their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" Rudy says as he continues to speak.
"If both trainers are ready let the final battle begin!" Rudy says as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Pignite! Use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Pignite takes in a deep breath and shoots out a big stream of fire from his nose that goes to hit Garbodor as Roxie speaks.
"Counter with Sludge Bomb!" Roxie calls. Garbodor shoots out a big bomb of sludge that collides with the stream of fire creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Out of the explosion appears Pignite who's covered in fire and hits Garbodor doing some damage to the mon. Pignite can feel his speed increase as Roxie speaks.
"Use Double Slap!" "Pignite dodge then use Flamethrower!" Both trainers' call. Garbodor's hands glow white and goes to hit Pignite but the mon dodges by jumping away. Pignite lands a few feet away then fires out a large stream of fire that goes to hit Garbodor as Roxie speaks.

"Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Pignite covers himself in fire, shoots forward and hits Garbodor again causing more damage to the mon along with raising his speed as Roxie speaks.
"Use Sludge Bomb!" "Dodge Pignite!" Both trainers' call. Garbodor fires out a big bomb of sludge, but Pignite manages to dodge the attack by jumping away. Up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"How come Ash is having Pignite hit Garbodor then dodge and do it again?" Cameron asks as Tracey speaks.
"Ash knows how strong Garbodor is after it defeated Muk so he's making sure that Pignite doesn't get damaged and with the help of Flame Charge increasing Pignite's speed after every successful hit it's making it easy for Pignite to dodge and land hits on Garbodor." Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"So, he's doing hit and run tactics." Hau says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield we see Pignite hit Garbodor again with Flame Charge and when Garbodor goes to hit Pignite he dodges the attack by jumping away. Once Pignite lands safely Roxie speaks.
"Your Pignite's pretty speedy Ash but I'm getting tired of this same tactic I think it's time to shake things up." Roxie says making Ash curious as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor use Bulldoze!" Roxie calls with Garbodor nodding as it stomps on the battlefield causing it to shake. Ash quickly calls for a command.
"Pignite quick jump in the air to dodge!" Ash calls and when Pignite does that Roxie speaks.
"I thought you'd do that. Garbodor use Rockslide and keep using Bulldoze!" Roxie says with Garbodor nodding as it roars and summons a portal above the air born Pignite. Pignite has a surprised look on his face as multiple big boulders appear from the portal and hit Pignite causing him to fall back on the still shaking ground with the boulders falling on top of him as Ash speaks.
"Pignite!" Ash calls in worry as when the shaking stops, we see Pignite under the rubble he's groaning in pain and can feel his speed decrease as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor now that Pignite's pinned down use Gunk Shot!" Roxie calls. Garbodor nods as it creates a big trash can and throws it at Pignite as Ash speaks.
"Pignite get out of their with Close Combat!" Ash calls. Pignite nods as he quickly punches the ground which allows him to lift himself up and punch the boulders away. Pignite then manages to narrowly dodge the Gunk Shot and once he lands Roxie calls for a command.
"Use Sludge Bomb!" Roxie calls. Garbodor fires out a big bomb of sludge that heads for Pignite as Ash speaks.
"Pignite dodge then use Fire Pledge!" Ash calls. Pignite quickly moves to the left and dodges the poison bomb. Once he does Pignite flexes his muscles then punches the ground with his right fist causing multiple fire pillars to come from the ground and head for Garbodor. Roxie isn't concerned as she calls for a command.
"Blow it away with Hyper Beam!" Roxie calls surprising Ash. Garbodor roars and fires out a big orange beam that easily goes through the fire pillars and hit Pignite creating an explosion. When the explosion clears everyone can see Pignite having scratches all over his body and groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Pignite are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor use Rockslide!" Roxie calls. Garbodor roars and summons another portal above Pignite's head. Pignite sees the boulders coming as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Pignite!" Ash calls. Pignite quickly runs out of the way dodging the boulders as Roxie speaks.
"Use Bulldoze!" Roxie calls. Garbodor stomps on the battlefield causing it to shake and making Pignite stop running causing damage to the mon. Pignite can feel that his speed is getting lower as Roxie speaks.
"Use Gunk Shot!" Roxie calls. Garbodor summons a big trash can and throws it at Pignite as Ash speaks.
"Pignite try blowing it away with Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Pignite takes a deep breath and fires out a big Flamethrower that collides with the Gunk Shot creating an explosion. When that happens not all of the Gunk Shot is destroyed as some of it appears out of the explosion and hit Pignite causing damage to the mon. Pignite then begins to cough as he's now poisoned as Ash speaks.
"Oh no!" Ash says while having a worried look on his face as Roxie speaks.
"Okay Garbodor it's time to end this. Use Venoshock!" Roxie calls with Garbodor nodding as it fires out a stream of poison that heads for Pignite as Ash speaks.
"Pignite look out!" Ash calls but for Pignite he's groaning in pain. Up in the stands Ash's friends have concerned looks on their faces as Tracey speaks.
"If Pignite doesn't dodge that attack he's going to lose." Tracey says as everyone else begins to cheer Pignite on. Back on the battlefield the Venoshock's getting closer to Pignite as Ash speaks.
"Pignite, you got to dodge!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say but for Pignite he doesn't know if he can dodge as he feels pain all over his body. Then just when Pignite's about to accept his defeat he remembers how back when he was with Shamus that he was viewed as weak. But after being captured by Ash Pignite remembers all of the training and bonds that he has created with them and just how much Ash wants to win this tournament. Pignite then breaks out of his thoughts as he gets a determined look on his face and quickly moves to the left successfully avoiding the Venoshock. Roxie has a surprised look on her face as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Way to go Pignite!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Pignite nodding but he then groans from poison damage as Roxie speaks.
"Your Pignite may have dodged that attack, but it won't dodge this one. Garbodor use Bulldoze!" Roxie calls. Garbodor stomps on the battlefield again causing it to shake as Ash speaks.
"Pignite jump in the air to dodge!" Ash calls with Pignite nodding as he quickly jumps in the air avoiding the attack. Roxie calls for a command.
"You already tried this before! Garbodor use Rockslide!" Roxie calls. Garbodor roars and summons a portal above Pignite. Pignite sees multiple large boulders coming out of the portal as Ash speaks.
"We're not falling for that again! Pignite use Close Combat then Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Pignite gets his fists ready and begins to easily punch through the boulders until they're all gone. Pignite then looks at Garbodor, takes a deep breath and shoots out a big stream of fire from his nose that hits Garbodor causing damage to the mon as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor use Venoshock!" 'Pignite dodge then use Flame Charge!" Both trainers' call. When the stream of fire goes away Garbodor looks at Pignite and fires out a stream of poison. Pignite takes some poison damage but manages to easily dodge the Venoshock as he then covers his body in fire, shoots forward and hits Garbodor causing damage to the mon. Garbodor groans in pain as Roxie speaks.
"Garbodor now that Pignite's close use Double Slap!" "Pignite dodge then grab one of Garbodor's arms!" Both trainers' call. Both of Garbodor's hands glow white and go to hit Pignite but the pig manages to dodge both. Pignite then manages to grab Garbodor's left arm as Ash speaks.
"Great Pignite! Now jump in the air using Flame Charge and take Garbodor with you!" Ash calls. Pignite nods as he holds onto Garbodor's left arm tightly, covers his body in fire and shoots high into the air bringing Garbodor with him. Everyone looks at the sky seeing the 2-mons getting higher and higher. Then once they get high enough Ash speaks.
"Pignite spin Garbodor around then throw it back down towards the battlefield!" "Garbodor once Pignite lets go of you use Hyper Beam!" Both trainers' call. High up in the air Pignite begins to spin fast and makes Garbodor spin too. Once Pignite's done spinning he throws Garbodor back down as hard as he can. As Garbodor's falling it looks up at Pignite and shoots a big Hyper Beam out of its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Pignite use Heat Crash!" Ash calls. Pignite roars as his body is incased in a sphere of yellow fire. Pignite then falls forward and collides with the Hyper Beam. Once Pignite does that the beam begins to push Pignite back as Roxie speaks.
"That's it Garbodor just a little bit more!" Roxie calls with Garbodor nodding as it increases the power of its beam making it harder for Pignite. Pignite groans in pain and takes some poison damage as Ash speaks.
"Pignite don't give up we believe in you!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as up in the air Pignite can hear their cheers and nods. Pignite then begins to dig deep as he feels more fire power within him as he yells.
"PIGNITE!" Pignite yells as the fire sphere becomes bigger and more powerful surprising everyone there as up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Is that Pignite's Blaze ability?" Cameron asks as Tracey speaks.
"Yes, I believe it is." Tracey confirms as the others speak.
"GO! PIGNITE!" Misty along with Leaf, Nemona, Hau, Togetic, and Poliwag cheer Pignite on. Up in the air Pignite begins to overpower the Hyper Beam and is easily going through it getting closer to Garbodor as Ash speaks.
"YEAH! THAT'S IT PIGNITE!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as a few seconds later Pignite reaches Garbodor and hits the mon as Roxie speaks.
"GARBODOR USE YOUR ARMS TO GET PIGNITE OFF YOU!" Roxie yells and Garbodor tries but can't as the fire is too hot for the mon. We now see the two-mons getting closer to the battlefield as Pignite yells.
"PIG! NITEEEEE!" Pignite lets out a loud yell as a couple seconds later both he and Garbodor come crashing down on the battlefield creating a big explosion along with a strong gust of wind. The wind tries to knock Ash, Pikachu, and Roxie away but the 3 of them stand their ground. Then once the wind disappears everyone looks forward and see a big cloud of smoke covering the entire battlefield. Everyone looks at the battlefield curiously waiting for the smoke to clear, then when it does clear everyone can see Garbodor laying on its back and Pignite laying on his stomach. Everyone looks at the two mons as their trainers speak.
"Garbodor!" "Pignite!" The 2 trainers call to their Pokémon in hopes of getting a reaction from them but neither Pokémon is moving. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Rudy begins to speak.
"Both Garbodor and Pignite are unable to-"Just when Rudy was about to finish suddenly Pignite starts struggling to stand back up. Everyone looks at the mon and see him continue to struggle until a couple seconds later Pignite manages to fully stand back up and is panting heavily. Pignite along with everyone else look at Garbodor and see no signs of it moving as Rudy speaks.
"Garbodor's unable to battle Pignite's the winner! Seeing as Contestant Roxie has no more Pokémon left that means that Contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the next round!" Rudy says as Ash gets a big smile on his face and speaks.
"ALRIGHT!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu let out a cheer while Pignite smiles and fires a Flamethrower towards the sky in victory while the crowd cheers. Over at Oak's ranch we see Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheering too with the fire/fighting types along with Dragonite and Gengar cheering the loudest. The fire types along with Dragonite also fire Flamethrowers high into the air which startles everyone else there. We then head over to another part of the Orange Islands and see Shamus who was watching the battle. Shamus has a surprised look on his face. He's angry at first as he wanted Pignite to do that for him but then gets a smile on his face as he's happy to see that Pignite's doing well and walks away. We now come back to the stadium and see Ash's friends cheering too as Hau speaks.
"They won!" Hau says happily as Tracey speaks.
"It was a tough battle, but Ash managed to do it." Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to cheer. Back on the battlefield Roxie's surprised that she lost but then smiles as she returns Garbodor back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. She then looks forward and sees Ash along with Pikachu running over to Pignite. When they make it to the mon, they give him a hug as Ash speaks.
"You did it Pignite I knew you could!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as suddenly Muk, Dudunsparce, Kingambit, Lapras and Gigalith come out of their Pokeball's and congratulate Pignite too. Pignite looks at them and has a smile on his face, but his smile doesn't last for long as he groans from the poison damage Ash speaks.
"That's right you're still poisoned." Ash says as Roxie speaks.
"Here catch" Roxie says alerting Ash as she throws something at him causing Ash to catch it. Once he does Ash looks and sees that it was a Pecha Berry that Roxie threw at him. Roxie then speaks.
"Use that to cure Pignite's poison." Roxie says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Thank you" Ash says as he gives the berry to Pignite who eats it. Then once Pignite's done eating the poison is gone and the mon feels a lot better as Ash speaks.
"Do you feel better Pignite?" Ash asks with the mon nodding as he flexes his biceps making Ash along with his Pokémon smile. Suddenly Roxie then appears in front of them making Ash along with his Pokémon look at her as she smiles and speaks.
"That was a very exciting and explosive battle you gave my Pokémon and I today Ash thank you." Roxie says making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Thank you and we enjoyed it too." Ash says with his Pokémon agreeing with him making Roxie happy as the 2 trainers then shake hands. Once they do that Roxie looks at Ash and speaks.
"Ash if you ever decide to travel through the Unova region come over to my gym in Virbank City and let's have a rematch." Roxie says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"You got it and when we battle again, I'm still going to win." Ash says while having a confident look on his face making Roxie smile as she speaks.
"We'll see about that" Roxie says while having a confident look on her face too as Jake speaks.
"Let's all give one more round of applause to contestants Ash and Roxie!" Jake says as the crowd begins to cheer/clap for the 2 trainers. Ash and Roxie look at the crowd and wave then leave the battlefield. Once they do Ash meets up with his friends who congratulate him on the battle making Ash happy as they then head over to the stands. Many hours later multiple battles happen as it's now nighttime and we see the trainers that have won their battles at the Pummelo stadium battlefield. They're looking at the screen that has just finished randomizing their images and showcasing their opponents. Barry along with Nemona, Cameron, and Rinto see who they're battling and which stadium they'll be battling in. We now go over to Ash and Hau who continue to look at the screen, as they continue to look, they see that they'll be battling each other in stadium 3. The 2 boys have surprised looks on their faces as Hau speaks.
"Looks like we're battling each other." Hau says with Ash nodding as Hau then gets a smile on his face and speaks.
"Ash let's have an amazing battle tomorrow and I'm not going to lose" Hau says while having an excited look on his face as Ash smiles too and speaks.
"You got it! And I'm not going to lose either." Ash responds with Pikachu agreeing with him making Hau excited. After that they all head out of the stadium and Ash meets up with Misty, Tracey, and Leaf. He says goodbye to his rivals as the group then heads back to their room in the Pokémon Center. When they make it Misty, Leaf, and Tracey ask Ash which Pokémon he's going to use in his battle against Hau and Ash responds by saying that he has the perfect 6 in mind. Once that's over they all go asleep as the chapter comes to an end.
