"I can't believe Sonny just left his family like this, I understand him being shot and needing to recover. I really do but, we grieved over him. Sonny was my husband and he didn't want to come home to me. Instead, he wanted to spend time with Nina on his precious little island! Jason, I don't think I can forgive him for what he did. I know I say that everytime that Sonny screws me over but, I swear this time I mean it." Carly Jacks stood outside in the pouring rain as her best friend shrugged out of his leather jacket, wrapping it around Carly.
"Come on, let's get you back to the penthouse." Jason wraps an arm around Carly, guiding her to his car and helping her into the passenger seat. Jason drives them to his penthouse, Sam had moved in with Dante so this place was his again. They rode the elevator up and walked inside, Carly took a seat on the couch.
"Jase, please don't try to talk me out of this." Carly sighed, leaning her head back against the couch.
"Carly, when have I ever been able to talk you out of anything?" Jason wondered, sitting beside her.
"Jason, I'm not in the mood to laugh." Carly sighed.
"Look, I love both you and Sonny. I mean, you're my best friends in this entire world and this puts me in a position. What Sonny did to his family was wrong on so many levels, I understand why your angry. Do you want me to talk to him?" Jason sighed, Sonny had really dug himself a hole.
"I don't want to hear any of his damn excuses Jason, I don't think talking to him would do any good. Sonny made his bed. I hate to put you in a tough position but, my heart can't take it anymore Jason." Carly felt like she was at her breaking point.
"Okay, I won't bring it up. What would make you feel better right now? I know I can't fix the situation but, I want to help you." Jason grabs her hand.
"Thank you, just you being you. You're already helping, more than anything I just needed someone to listen." Carly squeezed his hand back.
"You know that I'm always here for you, I don't ever want you to forget that." Jason looked into her blue eyes.
"I know, that's why I love you." Carly hugged her best friend, maybe her heart was in shambles but at least she always had Jason.
