Um…Hello to my readers, I suppose.

As those of you who somehow found my story can see, I started this project a good almost

fourteen years ago. I was in my final year of high school at the time, and quite obsessed with

anime–and Naruto in particular. My username makes that pretty obvious, right?

Anyway…

I recently got a couple requests from artists who wanted to create something to enhance the

story, and those requests spurred me to at least let you all know I didn't just fall off the face of

the earth, though the amount of time that's passed with no update surely made it seem that way.

Unfortunately...I don't know whether I will ever continue this story.

I know that I completed the physical version of it before I started uploading it here, and I was

editing as I updated. However, I have no idea whether I still have the notebook in which I was

writing this story, or whether I had copied more than the current number of chapters to a Word

document or other form of electronic copy. I won't be able to find out whether I still have the

physical copy until the end of December, as I am currently in New York, attending a graduate

program to become a member of my religion's clergy, and any notebooks I may still have from

high school are in my childhood bedroom in California.

Even if I do find the continuation of Sand and Stars, I'm not sure whether I'll choose to upload

any new story chapters, as I find myself cringing at the way I wrote as a teenager. My writing

style has changed a lot in the past nearly decade and a half.

Update: I found five more chapters I had typed up on my computer. No idea when I actually

typed them, but it looks like even those are not the entirety of the story. I think I might've had

something close to 13 chapters written out physically somewhere? Anyway, maybe I'll update

the story again sooner than I thought. Possibly within the next couple weeks, mood, inspo and

energy providing.
