Shark Tale has always been one of my favorite animated films to watch ever since childhood and I still enjoy watching the movie so much, and since I love Shark Tale so much, I decided to do a whole twenty four-part miniseries version of the movie that serves as a whole retelling of the movie which is known as When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie that has brand new scenes, brand new characters, brand new locations, different dialogue. Episode 5: One Problem After Another
Chapter 3: A Humiliating Experience
Later on that day at the Seashell Plaza, Oscar's three childhood best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina has already left the rooftop of the apartment building and have made separate ways with Sykes and his two jellyfish henchmen Ernie and Bernie who have already went back to their own apartment homes within the building, and they all began heading right back at the apartment where Oscar and Nelson live at together as roommates while they're best friends along with Angie and Sabrina who both serve as their neighbors while they're their other best friends for so long.
While Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina began heading right back to Oscar and Nelson's own apartment, they began expressing their own concern about how Oscar has suddenly left the rooftop of the apartment building during their conversation with Sykes and his two henchmen Ernie and Bernie about how he has failed on paying back Sykes with the 5,000 clams like he was supposed to at the seahorse racetrack from earlier and must make up for it somehow while he is also planning on making it up to Angie by buying her back her grandmother's pearl from Jim Prawn's Pawn Shop from earlier after he used it to get him the right amount of money that he needed to pay off Sykes, they continue to express their concern right towards him for how much he has been through lately which is his own deep insecurities about being a nobody after what he has been through during childhood which is the traumatic experience he dealt with.
"Homies, do you think Oscar is gonna be alright?" asked Sabrina.
"Yeah, is he really gonna be okay?" asked Nelson.
"Of course he is, and he really needs to overcome it." said Angie.
"Huh? Overcome what, Ang?" asked Nelson.
"What are you talking about, girl?" asked Sabrina.
"You know, of how he always considered himself as a nobody after what he has dealt with when we used to be young," said Angie.
"Oh, you're right about that." said Nelson.
"Sorry about that very much." said Sabrina.
"It's alright, Nel and Brina. So, about Oscar, he really needs to overcome considering himself as a nobody like he always did somehow." said Angie.
"But how's he gonna do that anyway?" asked Sabrina.
"I honestly don't know, but he really needs to see that he doesn't need to be living a life of luxury to be a somebody like he has always dreamed about," said Angie.
"And how he's ever gonna see that?" asked Nelson.
"I don't know about that either, but he must do so 'cause he doesn't have to be rich and famous in order to be respected by others after what he has been through." said Angie.
"Look, all Oscar has to do is listen to his heart instead of his head." said Sabrina.
"Also, Oscar really needs to see he's already special in his own way." said Nelson.
"Those are very true, and most of all, Oscar should at least appreciate what he already has 'cause he's living the good life already," said Angie.
"He's been having this kind of dream of being a somebody for so long after he got made fun by his classmates for praising his father being a tongue scrubber." said Sabrina
"And he intends on getting respect from others by becoming so rich and famous all 'cause of what he has experienced during childhood as well." said Nelson.
"Well, having money and fame couldn't be worth getting the respect which he has always insisted that it can somehow." said Sabrina.
"We know how much Oscar wished to be respected, but what he has always dreamed about could somehow make that kind of thing happen," said Nelson.
"Ever since Oscar has always told us his dream, we've been trying to get him to understand he doesn't really need to do that to be a somebody and get the respect he yearns for." said Angie.
"Let's just hope that someday he will see that he is having such a great life already and doesn't need to live at the Top Of Southside Reef to fulfill what he has always dreamed of." said Nelson.
"He really thinks that living at the Top Of Southside Reef is the way of having such a better life, but he needs to notice that he already has a better life right now," said Sabrina.
"Having a life at the Top Of Southside Reef is honestly amazing, but having a life at the Bottom Of Southside Reef is so much more amazing than it." said Angie. "That's why we're all gonna go check on him to see if he's okay and attempt to assure him that he doesn't need to live at the Top Of Southside Reef to be a somebody and be respected by others, and get him to see his life is already perfect just the way it is."
"So true, Oscar has always been our best friend ever since he first met him when we used to be young children and got to know him better." said Nelson.
"We've been best friends with Oscar for so long and we'll always be together with him no matter what, which is what we promised each other on the first day we met," said Sabrina.
"Most of all, even though Oscar can prove to be very selfish and exasperating sometimes as well as making poor choices, he proves to be such a good friend," said Angie. "He's one of the greatest friends that anybody could ever ask for, and he's that kind of friend who needs to understand that he doesn't really have to live at one of the most luxurious places in the whole reef which is only for the most famous celebrities ever."
"That's right." said Nelson.
"For sure," said Sabrina.
Oscar's three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina all hope that Oscar will eventually understand that he doesn't have to live a life of luxury in order to make his lifelong dream of becoming a somebody and gaining the respect that he yearns for come true, and all he has to do is just listen to his heart instead of his head, see that he's already special in his own way as much as everybody else are special in their own ways, and most of all that he should appreciate what he already had since they have been best friends with him ever since they first met him at Pisces Elementary School, and even though they are deeply exasperated by Oscar having some moments of selfishness and making such reckless decisions, he's still such a really good friend that anybody could ask for since he really values his friendship with them so much.
Back inside of Oscar and Nelson's apartment, Oscar is now at the couch of the living room of the apartment home, and he is now holding both the old photo frame of himself when he used to be a young child along with his parents Earl and Regina when they used be alive and the old photo frame of himself and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina when they used to be children together just as he really loved his late parents so much as well as praising his father's job as a tongue scrubber ever since childhood and always enjoyed being best friends with Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina ever since he first met them at Pisces Elementary School.
Also, Oscar still plans on somehow making his lifelong dream of becoming a somebody and gaining the respect that he yearns for by somehow living at the Top Of Southside Reef right after the traumatic experience he dealt with during childhood when he got made fun of by his classmates at Pisces Elementary School for always looking up to his father Earl's job at the Whale Wash, and he believes that the only way to become a somebody and be respected by others is becoming very rich and famous while he also plans to make up for the 5 grand he owes Sykes and somehow buy back Angie's pearl from the local Prawn Shop that he has used to get him the 5,000 clams that he needed to pay back Sykes since he really cares about Angie so much as much as he really cares about Nelson and Sabrina which are true friends are really all about.
"Hi, Oscar." Angie greeted.
"Hello." Nelson greeted.
"What's up?" Sabrina greeted.
"Oh, hey, Ang, Nel, and Brina." Oscar greeted.
"Are you alright?" asked Nelson.
"Yes, are you okay?" asked Sabrina.
"Actually, I am okay, guys, but there's only one problem." said Oscar.
"Let us guess, Oscar. You always consider yourself as a nobody after you get mocked by your classmates for looking up to your father and his job." replied Angie
"That's right, and I really need to become a somebody by living the good life which is a life of luxury." replied Oscar.
"Look, you don't have to live at the Top Of Southside Reef to be a somebody at all and it can't be the answer of becoming a somebody." replied Nelson.
"Maybe it can be the answer, y'all, and having the life of being so rich and famous is the only way I'll be respected by others." replied Oscar.
"But it can't be the answer, and you really don't have to have the money and fame to get the respect that you yearn for so much." replied Sabrina.
"Yes, it does. Look, I've been having this dream for my whole life." said Oscar.
"We know," said Angie.
"I really think it could be the answer after all after what I've been through." said Oscar.
"We know," said Nelson.
"Look, I guess nobody doesn't even love a nobody and doesn't respect them either." said Oscar.
"We know," said Sabrina.
"I really wanna be a somebody and everybody loves a somebody so much."
"WE KNOW!" exclaimed Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Oscar.
"Oscar, you've been always telling us those things ever since we used to be children and it's really getting too far."
"Too far? What are you guys trying to say?" asked Oscar in surprise.
"We're saying that you should at least give it a rest for once." said Nelson.
"Why should I? It's really important 'cause of what happened when we used to be young." said Oscar.
"Yeah, but it's important to yourself when it happened years ago, not us." said Sabrina.
"But you guys really need to hear it so much." replied Oscar.
"Honestly, Oscar, we don't have to hear it all the time, and you need to understand that living a life of luxury can't be the answer to what you always dreamed about after all." said Angie.
"You guys are my best friends and we've been best friends forever, and since you are my friends, you guys sympathize with the motivation of being a somebody all the time." said Oscar.
"True, but you should at least need to see that you're already special in your own way." said Sabrina.
"You really should listen to your own heart instead of your head which is a good idea." said Nelson.
"And that you should appreciate what you already had too." said Sabrina.
"That's right, you really need to appreciate what you already had, Oscar." said Nelson.
"So, Oscar, we insist that you should do all of those things instead of what you've always been trying to do for your own motivation of being a somebody." said Angie.
"Ang, Nel, Brina, thanks for the advice, but I'm just gonna stick with my motivation of being a somebody and it is really important to me no matter what." said Oscar. "Even after what I've been through at Pisces Elementary School. The only way I'll ever be a somebody is to live a life of luxury at the Top Of Southside Reef and that's the home to all of the somebodies. But for right now…I am a nobody and nobody doesn't even love a nobody. Everybody has always loved the somebodies and I'll be a somebody someday. I hope so."
Upon hearing what Oscar has informed him which is still attempting to become a somebody and gaining the respect that he yearns for is by somehow living at the Top Of Southside Reef which he strongly believes that it's a home to all the somebodies right after the traumatic experience he dealt with during childhood, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina all became very filled with complete dismay just as they all still wish that Oscar would just appreciate what he already has and just be himself rather than trying to live at the Top Of Southside Reef in order to become a somebody and be noticed by others, and Oscar became filled with surprise upon noticing how much Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina became greatly dismayed by how he still intends on becoming a somebody by becoming very rich and famous which he still thinks it's the answer of
Suddenly, Oscar and his three childhood best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina heard a sound of knocking on the front door of Oscar and Nelson's own apartment, and they all left the couch together and went to the front door to see who it was. Oscar quickly opens the front door, and the one who knocked on it turns out to be none other than some of the four best friends' co-workers at the Whale Wash which are Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley, much to their own surprise, and Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley all inform Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina that something very special is gonna happen at one of the local shopping malls in Southside Reef which is Clamingdale's and insist that they should come with them to see what it is 'cause it's for Oscar.
"Oh, look who it is, y'all." said Oscar.
"It's Johnson and Phoebe," said Angie.
"Gerald and Myrtle," said Sabrina.
"And Wendell and Hayley too." said Nelson.
"Hey, Oscar, Ang, Nel, and Brina." Johnson greeted.
"Yo, guys, what's up?" Oscar greeted.
"What brings you guys here to our apartment?" said Nelson.
"There's something we wanna tell you guys." said Phoebe.
"Well, what is it?" asked Angie.
"What do you wanna tell us?" asked Sabrina.
"There's something happening at the Clamingdale Mall," said Gerald.
"That's right, and it's just for you, Oscar," said Myrtle.
"Huh? At Clamingdale's, there's something happening for me?" asked Oscar.
"We all have a surprise for you," said Wendell.
"Really? A surprise?" asked Oscar.
"Yes, and it's one of the most special surprises ever." said Hayley.
"Well, if it's for me, then I would wanna see it." said Oscar.
"Me too." said Angie.
"So do I." said Neson.
"Count me in," said Sabrina.
"So, what's the surprise, y'all?" asked Oscar.
"Not so fast, Oscar." said Phoebe.
"We can't tell you right now," said Johnson.
"You're gonna have to see it for yourself as Clamingdale's." said Myrtle.
"You'll see it soon when we get there," said Gerald.
"Come with us to the mall, everybody." said Hayley.
"And it's right here in this neighborhood," said Wendell.
"Let's go for your surprise and Clamingdale's already." said Johnson.
"And you're gonna flip for your surprise for sure." said Phoebe.
"Alright," said Oscar.
"Okay." said Angie.
"Okay." said Nelson.
"Alright." said Sabrina.
Then, Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina then leave Oscar and Nelson's apartment along with some of their fellow co-workers of the Whale Wash which are Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley right after they just inform them that there's a very special surprise waiting for Oscar at the Clamingdale's mall that is located right in the neighborhood of Marilem and they all began heading right towards the mall for the surprise together just as they began leaving the Seashell Plaza apartment building, and while they all do so, Oscar was very excited about the surprise he will be receiving at Clamingdale's soon while Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are very excited about the surprise as well.
Soon, the four group of best friends and some of their co-workers at the Whale Wash travel throughout the streets of Marilem together for a moment, and they all suddenly arrive at a Clamingale's shopping mall that is located in the Marilem neighborhood just as Oscar was very excited about seeing the surprise at the mall and Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina were surprised about seeing the surprise that he will be receiving after Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley told him and his three best friends all about it at his and Nelson's apartment from earlier.
However, unaware of Oscar and his friends, Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley attempted not to laugh mockingly with each other since they already know that the surprise that Oscar will be receiving at the Clamingdale's shopping mall will turn out to be something else than a surprise is supposed to be, and they all attempt to keep it to themselves until they arrive at the location in the shopping mall where Oscar shall be receiving the surprise like they insisted on when they first informed him and his three friends all about it at his apartment back at the Seashell Plaza.
"So, Ang, Nel, Brina, what do you think the surprise is gonna be?" whispered Oscar.
"None of us don't know for sure." whispered Angie..
"We're just gonna have to wait." whispered Nelson.
"Besides, it won't take long at all." whispered Sabrina.
"Well, I can't wait to see it, y'all." whispered Oscar.
"We can't wait too, homie." whispered Sabrina.
"It was really kind of these guys to give you a surprise." whispered Nelson.
"The surprise must've been for your hard work at the Whale Wash lately." whispered Angie.
"You really think that's the surprise for me is for all the hard work I have done at the Whale Wash?" asked Oscar.
"Yeah, Oscar, we really think that could be the reason why you're getting a surprise." whispered Nelson.
"If it could be so, then you really deserved it so much for working so hard as a tongue scrubber." whispered Sabrina.
"It could be anything else why you deserve it, and it could be it." whispered Angie.
"I guess it could be it, and I appreciate the surprise so much." whispered Oscar.
"We do too," whispered Angie.
"Let's go already." whispered Nelson.
"Yeah, let's see it together." whispered Sabrina.
Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continue to travel throughout the Clamingdale's shopping mall along with their fellow co-workers at the Whale Wash Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley in order to witness the surprise that is being planned for Oscar while he and his friends are very excited about it so much just as their co-workers continue to keep the true intention of the surprise for themselves while they attempt not to laugh with each other.
Soon, just as they all travel throughout the mall together, Oscar suddenly noticed something familiar at the mall, and it quickly turns out to be none other than the one he just met at the Southside Reef Seahorse Racetrack which is Lola the gold digger lionfish who is shopping at one of the stores of the mall which is a jewelry store along with the rich fish who is buying her much jewelry she insisting jewelry she just met at the seahorse racetrack right after she turned him down upon learning that he isn't a millionaire that she had imagined and considered him as a nobody, especially of how much she was very shallow and has no interest in those who live at the Bottom Of Southside Reef just like she explained to him from before.
"Is that the finest jewels that they have in this entire store at Clamingdale's, baby?" asked Lola.
"Yes, dear, and these jewels are really gorgeous as well." said the rich fish.
"I really love to hear how gorgeous they are, and they are just as gorgeous as myself," said Lola.
"Oh, yes they are, and I am so lucky to be with somebody like you, Lola." said the rich fish.
"I'm so lucky to be with somebody like you as well." said Lola.
"Oh, and by the way, I got some diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, topazes, amethysts, and so much more." said the rich fish.
"I'm really happy to hear about that and those are my favorite gemstones ever." said Lola.
"Me too, and each of them are in rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and pendants." said the rich fish.
"Thank you very much for buying me all of these gifts. I appreciate them very much." said Lola.
"I would do anything to make you smile since you're my girlfriend." said the rich fish.
"And I would do the same thing for you too since you're my boyfriend." said Lola.
"We're gonna be together and we'll always be." said the rich fish.
"Yeah, right. We will be together for a long time. We'll see." said Lola.
"Mmm-hmm." said the rich fish.
Upon noticing Lola going shopping with another male fish that turns out to be very wealthy and is buying her all of the things that she wants from the jewelry store which she really adores so much already, Oscar became greatly dismayed just as he wished that he would be able to win Lola's heart somehow since he developed feelings for her after he just met her at the seahorse racetrack, and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina became very surprised by how he began starring at Lola and her brand new rich boyfriend at the jewelry store of Clamingdale's and Oscar proceeds to tell them about how he met Lola at the racetrack and really wishes to win her heart somehow.
However, upon learning that Oscar has newfound feelings all of a sudden for Lola after first meeting her at the seahorse racetrack from earlier, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina honestly think it isn't a good idea for Oscar to begin having some kind of romantic relationship with Lola all of a sudden since he just met her and how it turns out that she is downright shallow, and Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina quickly figures out why she is so interested in having relationships with others anyway, especially that she is a lionfish who are usually after what they're really interested in the most which is wealth and fame, even if it means using their own good looks to do so since they're considered to be one of the most beautiful creatures in the whole sea world, but Oscar doesn't listen to them at all since he's being way too blinded by Lola's beauty to notice that, much to their own dismay.
"Hey, Oscar, what are you looking at?" asked Angie.
"I'm looking at somebody I met at the Southside Reef Seahorse Racetrack," said Oscar.
"You met somebody?" asked Sabriba.
"Who is it anyway?" asked Nelson.
"It's a lionfish named Lola," said Oscar.
"A lionfish?" asked Nelson.
"Named Lola?" asked Sabrina.
"Are you for real?" asked Angie.
Oscar nodded. "Yeah. She's the most beautiful fish I have ever seen in my entire life and I have never seen anybody so beautiful before." She began starring at Lola in a very lovestruck expression while he was very captivated by her such beauty and good looks while she continued having her brand new boyfriend who is a rich fish continue to buy many jewelry for her in dismay. "On the first moment I met her, I really wanna win her heart so much by somehow impressing her, but I can't 'cause I'm stuck living down here at the Bottom Of Southside Reef and stuck having a job at the Whale Wash. Also, during my first meeting with her at the racetrack, she thought I was a millionaire when I made that foolish bet on Lucky Day, but when she found out I didn't have any money, she called me a nobody and turned me down for it since it turned out that she's superficial. Oh, if I wasn't a nobody and had a lot of money, then she would be going out with me right now rather than that guy who is buying her all of that jewelry from that jewelry store. Don't worry, I'll win her heart somehow when I finally become a somebody and become very rich and famous."
"So, you and that person Lola met when you made that reckless bet at the race?" asked Sabrina.
"Yes." said Oscar.
"Lola really thought that you had a lot of money after you made that stupid bet?" asked Nelson.
"True." said Oscar.
"And she ended up rejecting you 'cause she found out you're broke and called you a nobody 'cause of it?" asked Angie.
"For sure. Look, the only way if she's ever gonna go out with somebody like me, then I gotta become a somebody by living at the Top Of Southside Reef." said Oscar.
"You really wanna go out with somebody like her, Oscar?" asked Angie.
"Yeah, and I wish I would just live at theTop Of Southside Reef already and fulfill what I've always dreamed about," said Oscar.
"You honestly think that she would really be with you if you really did have all of the money and had all the fame one of these days if you somehow made it so?" asked Sabrina.
"Yes, guys, and having so much money and having so much fame is the only way of somebody becoming a somebody someday," said Oscar.
"But how will having all of those things after you have managed to earn it mean a thing to you and mean a thing to somebody like her?" asked Nelson.
"It will mean everything, especially how it's a good opportunity for myself after what I have dealt with at elementary school when we used to be kids." said Oscar.
"Yeah, you've been always saying that about what you've always intended." said Nelson.
"Which is what you've kept saying about after what you've been through." said Sabrina.
"Look, maybe somebody like Lola may not be right for somebody like you to be in a romantic relationship, even if you were rich and famous right now." replied Angie.
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" asked Oscar.
"Not only Lola turned you down 'cause you weren't rich at that time, it's also 'cause that she is superficial and being superficial means being shallow," said Angie.
"Yeah, she also did say that when she rejected me for being broke? So what?" asked Oscar.
"So, we honestly think that she's only interested in you if you actually live at the Top Of Southside Reef, which is how downright superficial that she is," said Sabrina.
"Being superficial that you only care about others for what they have and how they look, and it might be the kind of person that she really is." said Nelson.
"What are you saying?" asked Oscar.
"We're saying that being in a relationship with somebody who would only care about what you have rather than for who you are isn't such a good idea." said Angie.
"She probably wouldn't be dating you for a minute if you weren't living a life of luxury at all and it's all 'cause she's so shallow to be dating anybody who doesn't have money." said Nelson.
"Even after she admitted to you that she was so shallow when she turned you down for not being rich at the seahorse racetrack earlier today," said Sabrina.
"Guys, I am fully aware of what it means to be superficial and I can only impress her if I was so rich, and if I was rich right now, she would be dating me instead of that guy." sad Oscar.
"Oscar, do you really think it's a good idea to be in a romantic relationship with somebody who is only interested in you for what you have and how you look?" asked ANgie.
"Actually, yes I do, and I…I…I began to have feelings for Lola when I first met her and I really wanna win her heart so much when I become a somebody." said Oscar.
"But we're really trying to say that Lola may not be the right person to have feelings for, especially that she's superficial and isn't afraid to hide that at all." said Angie.
"Guys, you don't even know her that much and I just told you about her." replied Oscar.
"You don't even know her either, and you just met her earlier." replied Angie.
"Look, like I've been saying from before, nobody loves a nobody and the only way I'll be a somebody is by living a life of luxury." said Oscar. "And hopefully it will be when Lola will decide to go out with me on a date for sure. Also, when that happens, I must be good enough for her to be in a relationship with."
"Oscar, will you please just listen to what we're trying to say about Lola? We really don't think it's…" said Angie just as she tried to explain, but she suddenly got interrupted by Johnosn.
"Hey, Oscar, come on." said Johnson.
"And your three besties Ang, Nel, and Brina must come too." said Phoebe.
"Let's go to your surprise already." asked Gerald.
"We don't have all day to see it." said Myrtle.
"You're gonna flip for sure when you see it, Oscar." said Wendell.
"That's right, and your three friends are gonna flip about it too." said Hayley.
Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina nodded their heads in agreement at their fellow co-workers at the Whale Wash Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley, and they all continue to come along with them throughout the Clamingdale's shopping mall in order to see what surprise has been planned out for Oscar which he and his three best friends might it would be for all of Oscar's hard work as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash just as they are still very excited about it while they are completely unaware of what their co-workers are planning for Oscar without them knowing at all.
Also, just as Oscar and his three friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are very excited about seeing Oscar's surprise at Clamingdale's after their co-workers Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley have told them all about it while they are unaware of what they're actually planning for the whole surprise, Oscar quickly noticed Lola began leaving along with her new boyfriend which is the rich fish who is carrying her a lot of shopping bags filled with very expensive jewelry from the jewelry store and he began staring at her in a lovestruck expression just as he wished to somehow win her heart by becoming a somebody by becoming rich and famous one of those days while Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina were filled in complete dismay since Lola turns out to be downright shallow and is only interested in those who are rich and famous and they wish they would get Oscar to understand that having a romantic relationship with somebody downright shallow just like Lola isn't such a good idea at all because they are aware that somebody being shallow means that they only care about others for what they have and how they look like rather than for who they are.
Soon, Oscar and his three best friends as well as their co-workers at the Whale Wash arrive at a clothing store within the Clamingdale's shopping mall where they met up with some more of their fellow co-workers which are Pontrelli, Knuckles, Dwight, Vivian, Quincy, and Tamika as well as some other employees at the Whale Wash and even Sykes and his two henchmen Ernie and Bernie have all gathered there and they are all preparing to give Oscar his surprise, and Oscar and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are still very excited all about the surprise Oscar will be receiving while they are unaware of what it will actually turn out just as everybody else who works at the Whale Wash attempt to do their best to hide it from them.
"Hey, everybody, what's up?" Oscar greeted.
"Hi." Angie greeted.
"Hello." Nelson greeted.
"Yo." Sabrina greeted.
"Hi." Pontrelli greeted.
"Hey." Knuckles greeted.
"Yo." Dwight greeted.
"What's up?" Vivian greeted.
"Hey." Quincy greeted.
"Hello." Tamika greeted.
"Oscar, glad you and your friends can make it." said Sykes.
"Yeah, mon," said Ernie.
"Absolutely, mon," said Bernie.
"My friends and I are glad to be here too." said Oscar.
"So, Oscar, we all have a surprise for you," said Knuckles.
"It's something we worked so hard on together," said Pontrelli.
"Let me guess. It's for the hard work I've done." said Oscar.
"That's right, it's how you've been working so hard as a tongue scrubber," said Vivian.
"Since you've been working so hard, you really deserve a surprise," said Dwight.
"What is it?" asked Oscar.
"Oh, it's right here, Oscar," said Tamika.
"This is what it is," said Quincy.
"We hope you enjoy the surprise so much." said Sykes. "Hey, Ernie, Bernie, give Oscar what he earned for all of his hard work."
Both Ernie and Bernie then gets out a gift box and gives it to Oscar, and Oscar quickly take the gift box from the two jellyfish just as he smiled while his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina smiled at what he just received as a gift while everybody are preparing to laugh together just as they all planned on what the surprise for Oscar is really gonna turn out. Once Oscar took the gift box from the two jellyfish, he opened it up and all he finds inside of it which turns out to be nothing but a trophy of himself holding a cleaning brush, and even the trophy of himself holding a cleaning brush is made out of nothing but the slime from a sperm whale customer, much to his own surprise and much to Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina's surprise.
"Huh? What the heck is this, guys?" asked Oscar.
"It's your surprise, Oscar." said Pontrelli.
"Yeah, I can see that. What is it?" asked Oscar.
"It's a trophy," said Knuckles.
"But what kind of trophy is this?" asked Oscar.
"It's made out of slime from a sperm whale's tongue," said Dwight.
"What?!" asked Oscar.
"The trophy is made out of sperm whale slime," said Vivian.
"Sperm whale slime?!" asked Oscar.
"That's right, and it's 'cause you're a hard-working tongue scrubber," said Tamika.
"Are you sure this is my surprise?" asked Oscar.
"Yeah, and it's your hard work for your tongue scrubbing job," said Quincy.
"Oh, you…you…you guys really should have." said Oscar.
"Well, it's the best thing we can do for anybody." said Bernie.
"Even who's stuck working at the Whale Wash." said Ernie.
"You see, Oscar, we all know how much you've been working so hard as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash for so long, and we all praise it very much." said Sykes mockingly. "However, having the job of being a tongue scrubber is all you're ever gonna be, even when you've first begun working at the Whale Wash. Let's be honest, you might be getting a promotion for all of your hard work just like your father Earl did when he used to work at the business, but you're stuck with the job and that's all, especially it's the least popular job. Congratulations on your award, Oscar!"
"Oscar is a tongue scrubber!" said Ernie and Bernie mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Johnson and Phoebe mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Gerald and Myrtle mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Wendell and Hayley mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Pontrelli and Knuckles mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Dwight and Vivian mockingly.
"Tongue scrubber!" said Quincy and Tamika mockingly.
"Hooray for Oscar the tongue scrubber, everybody!" said Sykes.
Soon, right after Oscar received his gift which turns out to be a trophy of himself holding a cleaning brush which is being made of out a sperm whale's tongue slime that is usually cleaned off by the tongue scrubbers of the Whale Wash, everybody continue to chant "tongue scrubber" at him for being stuck with the least popular job at the Whale Wash which turns out to be tongue scrubber while they still praise him for all the of the hard work he has done at the Whale Wash for so long which he will might earn himself a promotion one of those days and because of the job he's currently stuck with at the Whale Wash even though he's being praised for all his hard work, they still don't show him that much respect at all all because of being a tongue scrubber and nothing more.
Due to not receiving that much respect from his own fellow co-workers at the Whale Wash for being nothing but a tongue scrubber which is very unpopular at the local business even though they praise him for all of the hard work he has done and when he received the surprise from them which is a trophy of himself made out the green slime of a sperm whale customer's tongue, Oscar became filled with completed dismayed just as he still wished that he could somehow become rich and famous in order to become a somebody and be respected by others while his three longtime best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina felt really bad for him and wishes that he doesn't have to live at the Top Of Southside Reef to be a somebody and be respected by others after he was has been through during childhood.
Then, a very depressed Oscar then leaves the clothing store of the Clamingdale's shopping mall along with the trophy made out of green slime from a sperm whale customer's tongue in complete humiliation over the fact of how he is being disrespected by his co-workers at the Whale Wash for being stuck with the job as a tongue scrubber while they all praise him for being a hard working employee who will earn a promotion one of those days, and once Oscar left the scene with the green slime trophy of himself in humiliation and depression, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continue to feel very bad for him while Sykes, Ernie, Bernie, and everybody else who works at the Whale Wash became very surprised upon seeing Oscar suddenly leave the scene after receiving his own surprise for all his hard work which turned out to be very humiliating.
After humiliating Oscar by giving him a green slime trophy of himself as a surprise for working so hard as a tongue scrubber which they show disrespect towards him for due to being a very unpopular job at the Whale Wash while they would praise him for all of the hard work that he has done as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash lately, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina proceed to scold everybody for not showing Oscar that much respect at all and should at least show him some respect for his job at the Whale Wash for once since they really do praise him for being a hard-working employee, but they don't listen to them at all due to the tongue scrubbing job being very unpopular, much to their own dismay.
"Guys, what the heck?!" asked Sabrina in annoyance.
"Yeah, what was that for?!" asked Nelson in annoyance.
"Are you all serious?!" asked Angie in annoyance.
"Ang, Nel, Brina, you must have a problem." said Pontrelli.
"Yeah, you must be tripping all of a sudden." said Knuckles.
"Us? We don't have a problem." asked Nelson.
"We're not the ones tripping." said Sabrina.
"You guys do," said Angie.
"Look, we didn't do anything wrong." said Dwight
"We're just giving a special surprise for Oscar," said Vivian.
"Yeah, but you gave him a trophy out of sperm whale tongue slime." said Sabrina.
"You gave him a very humiliating surprise, you guys." said Nelson.
"True, and it's to remind him of how much he's a tongue scrubber," said Quincy.
"Which is the least popular to have at the Whale Wash." said Tamika.
"Look, what you did to Oscar isn't funny at all, and you should at least show him some respect for once." said Angie.
"Wait a minute, we do show him some respect," said Johnson.
"But we would only respect him if he wasn't stuck with such an unpopular job," said Phoebe.
"Some of you guys are stuck with the job as much as Oscar is stuck with it." said Angie.
"Yeah, but we don't complain about the job as much as he does." said Gerald.
"We've heard from the guys how much he would complain about it so much." said Myrtle.
"Look, we know Oscar can be exasperating, even when it comes to working at the Whale Wash, but he does have some rough times, especially during childhood." said Angie.
"We all have had some rough times during our own lives even when we used to be young," said Wendell.
"But most of the rough times we have aren't as rough as what Oscar has been through when he used to be a kid," said Hayley.
"Look, will guys please don't respect Oscar like that all 'cause he's a tongue scrubber and doesn't really deserve it." said Sabrina.
"You guys have always disrespected Oscar for having the tongue scrubbing job and it's ridiculous." said Nelson.
"So we all insist that you guys at least show Oscar some respect, especially of how he has been working hard lately," said Angie. "Just show Oscar some more respect since he's a hard-working employee at the tongue scrubbing section of the Whale Wash, and he shows you guys some respect at the Whale Wash too. Please just do it for once regardless of the job being the least popular in the whole business. Please."
"Ang, Nel, and Brina, we appreciate your own proposal of showing Oscar some more respect for once, and we all love to do that for him," said Sykes.
"Wait a minute? You would?" asked Angie in surprise.
"Yes, but that would happen if he isn't still stuck in the job of being a tongue scrubber," said Sykes.
"What?!" asked Angie in dismay.
"You heard what we said. Like we just say, he's just a tongue scrubber and nothing more, and it's still the least popular job in the Whale Wash ever." replied Sykes. "Let's face it, you guys, we still praise Oscar for all of the hard work he has done as a tongue scrubber which will somehow earn him a promotion someday, he's just gonna be a tongue scrubber and that's just the way it's gonna have to be, especially of how unpopular it has been for so long."
Then, Sykes, Ernie, Bernie, and everybody else who works at the Whale Wash continue to show disrespect towards Oscar for being stuck at the very unpopular job at the Whale Wash which turns out to be the tongue scrubbing job and they still show some praise towards him for all of the hard work he has done as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash, and all because they haven't him showing Oscar that much respect lately due the job he has right now while they show praise towards him for being a hard-working employee lately, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina became very dejected just as they all felt bad for Oscar and they all leave the clothing store of the Clamingdale's shopping mall in order to find Oscar and comfort him for what he has been through lately right after he left in dejection due to the humiliation he faced from his fellow co-workers already.
