Author's Note: Halloween is almost upon us!

This song was requested by a guest-don't know if this is the same one but I'll take it. When I first heard this song, I immediately fell in love with it, this is what a villain song should be!

Now originally, I was going to make it a Bill song but when Guest recommended it to be a Steven Diamond song, well it was a no brainer really.

Now this is set in the Reverse Falls/Diamond AU but its timeline is set in this universe's version of Universe Falls Future, now in my head I imagine that Steven has lost his forces on Earth and Homeworld but he still is out there in the universes with a few gems that are either still loyal to him or serve him out of fear.

And this story centers on the loan Diamond hybrid observing his recently conquered Gem colony….and joining him is his new subordinate/lacky/slave….Spinel.

Good To Be King.

Colony Veta, a peaceful colony under the new direction of the government of Homeworld, The Gem Republic. There Gem kind lives in peace with the 8-eyed humanoid Mouse-like people-the Vermights.

All was peaceful….well it was until the Diamond Separatists invaded, now both Vermights and Gems of the colony are living in fear over their master, the son of Yellow Diamond, Steven Diamond.

No one had seen the hybrid son of Yellow Diamond in over two years since his failed attempt at re-conquering that Earth town, Gravity Falls. Many would say he failed two times to claim that town and planet, those who say that out loud would end up shattered in an instant, and more would say that during those conflicts he had suffered lose, betrayal, humiliation, and even…madness.

But now here he stands outside the entrance of his ship, downing a new wardrobe to match his renewed purpose (For better visual think a mix between Darth Vader and Doctor Doom but without the masks), his gem forever presented on his chest, his hair still resembling his mother's, and on his face a jagged scar crossed over his left eye.

A mark from one of his many foes….he swore to pay her back in kind.

"YAHOO! Ready to walk about the town, My lord and mighty best friend!?"

Steven rolled his eyes as the newest member of his court came bouncing towards him, normally he would not hesitate to zap her and break her gem all at once…..but after his first meeting with Spinel, showed Steven, the might and ferocity that this so called-toy poses….plus she makes him laugh.

"Indeed, Spinel," Steven ignored the gem hugging behind him, "Now, remember what we discussed about….personal space?"

Took a few seconds for Spinel let go but she did, "Sorry Steven."

Steven raised an eyebrow while glaring at her with his scared eye.

"OH! I mean sorry my Diamond!" Spinel quickly apologized and bowed to him.

Steven tapped a finger to his chin. "You know, Spinel. I've decided instead of being called 'Diamond', from now on I wish to be called….King Steven."

"Right gotcha!" Spinel smiled…"Uh, what's a king?"

"Just take my word for it," Steven growled as he made his way out of the ship with Spinel following.

As he reached the exist, he observes a crowed of the colonists all cheering his name.

"STEVEN! STEVEN! STEVEN!"

Of course, this was only due to the multiple Jasper and Amethyst guards looming over them, but out of fear or loyalty, Steven couldn't care less. He just needed to remind everyone, who holds the power.

Steven smiled as he and Spinel walked out of the ship while being followed by four strange new creatures, they looked like hulking bipedal rock-creatures.

Unlike traditional gems these things look more like the gem itself configured into a rock monster the size of a Jasper if not a little bit taller. Their bodies are large and muscular with sharp stones scattered on their shoulders and back, their arms are long reaching to their waists and have sharp stone claws, on their feet they have two claw-toes, and their faces are featureless with the exception of a yellow-colored visor, the only color that stays as the rest shared different colorations of their bodies.

It is these….Crystal Golems-as Steven calls them-that both the colonists as well as the gems serving Steven all fear, next to him of course.

And Steven knows this his…entourage walks beside him on all sides.

Steven: It's good to be king, and have the absolute authority

Steven smiled wickedly at the crowed as he takes in their cheering.

All the attributes of divinity.

I'm a religion look how they all worship me.

Steven shoots some lighting from his finger tips into the air, causing all the crowds and even some of his own gems to duck at this action, save for Spinel and the Cystal Golems.

Don't have to be good, to be a good king.

Just gotta look like you've got sympathy

Then keep 'em rooked and suffering to maximize your profiting.

As he and his entourage continue walking in town, a lone Ruby holding a dagger was about to jump out from behind a large crate and assassinate the hybrid tyrant. As he gotten close, she was about to jump out and end him right here and there…..had Spinel's long arm hadn't grabbed her by the square head.

She pulled the Ruby assassin and lifted her in front of Steven who simple motioned to one of his Crystal Golems to take her form Spinel and carry her screaming back to the ship.

Look how the peasants work down to the bone

As I sit up high on my velvety throne

Pulling the strings on the people below

It's so stinking good to be king

Steven gazed at some of the colonists, waiting to see if one of them would try to carry on that Ruby's mission or try to rescue her. To his amusement no one moved with the exception of bowing and praising their overlord.

Mine is the kingdom

Mine is the power

Soon Steven stopped at a bridge with a view of the town and gazed at another addition to his new growing empire and then frown appeared as Spinel hugged him again, this time from his left side.

Steven and Spinel: Mine is the glory, Forever…

Steven: More!

Then he zapped her away from him, but she smiled and happily followed her new forever friend.

"Bow to your king!" Steven shouted to all those near him as each colonist bowed immediately.

"They're getting good at this," smiled Spinel.

"As well as they should," Steven replied.

"OH, My king!" Spinel shouted as she stretched two of the Crystal Golems to both of her sides. "I almost forgot, look what I taught theses lugs."
Steven rolled his eyes but indulged her, but he wished he hadn't as Spinel had taught his newly created enforcers how to break dance.

Thankfully they finished with Spinel giving a two fingered victory pose, "Well, what do you think?"

Steven stared at her

"You know I'd shattered you if you weren't so useful."

Spinel started back at him and the laughed on the floor as the two golems returned to their master's side. "Oh! That's funny every time you say that! You're killing me!

"If only," sighed Steven as he walked back to his ship with the rest of Crystal Golems and Spinel behind him.

Once inside he made a stop to a chamber containing Gems and Vermight prisoners behind held by laser chains with multiple other Crystal Golems around. Some of them holding onto gems in their claws and even shattering a few, while some of the Golems held the aliens tight enough that you would hear bones breaking as they screamed.

All this was happing as Steven laughed.

Steven: It's good to be king and be the one who screams,

"Off with his head!"

He pointed at one of the Vermight prisoners, causing the Crystal Golem that was holding him to release one of its hands from him as the clawed-hand turned into an axe ready to chop off the prisoner's head

Or be the one who's deemed savior instead

But then he held his hand up signaling it to cease its action before it cut off the alien's head.

It's delicious

To watch a Gem begging for her death

Then Steven stopped in front of the Ruby that tried to kill him as the Crystal Golem held her in front of Steven as he immediately grasped the Ruby's gem in the middle of her forehead and started squeezing it

I grab on her gem and then give it a twist a smile opens up on my sinister lips

With his hand firmly grasping the Ruby's gem, his electricity starts sparking around her and her body looks like it's about to destabilize and to her horror her gem looked like it was about to crack.

The joy of the crown is too much to resist It's so stinking good to be king

Spinel watched with a smile but unlike her usual smiles this one was forced as she watched Steven torture the Ruby, and sighed as he let her go then gave a worried look as the Crystal Golem holding the Ruby carried her in a dark room filled with the screams of gems all the while Steven smiled.

I just love it!

Now they've arrived in Steven's throne room with a statue of Yellow Diamond standing tall with a glare at those beneath her. Steven approached his throne that sits in front of the statue while more and more Crystal Golems appear as they started flexing and dancing for their master, while Spinel sits in her small chair on the left side of Steven's throne.

Mine is the kingdom!

Mine is the power!

Mine is the glory, forever

More!

Steven stands in front of his throne, sparks of electricity coming out of her mouth and hands as his body starts glowing yellow.

Forever more!

Forever more!

Steven sits on his throne while he smiles at Spinel and the Crystal Golems salute their king.

It's so stinking good to be king!

"So….what's next my king?" Spinel asked.

Steven answered by pressing a button on the armrests on his throne and showing three images. One of Earth, one of the town of Gravity Falls, and the last one showing a group picture of Pacifica, Gideon, Connie, Dipper, Lapis, and the Crystal Gems all smiling in victory.

Steven gave his own wicked smile, "They say, third times the charm."
