The Earth Fairies finally have a taste of freedom, ready to enact their plan. But Morgana, Queen of Earth Fairies, knows what the red moon in the sky says as it looms over the castle balcony of Tir Nan Og. Her assistant, the fairy of peace, Nebula, looms over her shoulder, looking at the suspicious crescent in the centre of a circle of stars.

"The Blood Moon has arrived," the queen starts, "That means the vampire is going to awaken tonight. Nebula, I need you to tell the other Major Fairies to go on lockdown, we can't risk it."

"Can't risk it?", Nebula repeats, "My Queen, we are an army, and he's one man. If anything, we'd outnumber him easily."

"Don't forget their abilities, Nebula," Morgana replies, "Once every Blood Moon, the vampires come out to feast on our magic and it takes months if not years to replenish ourselves. It would be less of a bear trap and more like a pile of bones for that old canine. It would be wiser to wait just a day or two. Let's be patient."

Nebula stares at her highness before sighing and leaving, her commands for the fairy guards to inform Diana, Aurora and Sibylla echoing from the halls. Morgana keeps looking up at the moon.

"His powers should be awakened by now..."
