Nick and Juliette were having a Thanksgiving dinner for those who didn't have family or weren't able to see family for the holiday. Hank, Rosalee, Monroe were already in the living room with drinks. "We're just waiting on two other people." Juliette told them after Wu had arrived.
The silverware was just set on the table after the rolls and butter when the doorbell rang. "I got it!" Nick called making his way over to the front door.
"I hope I'm not late." Sean walked in with a cherry pie in hand.
Taking the dessert from him. "Nope, we were just waiting on you and one other person. One of Juliette's friends."
Nick had just handed the pie off to Juliette in the kitchen when the doorbell rang. "Hey, nice to see you again." He smiled after getting the door.
"Like wise."
Moving to the side. "Come on in. Everyone is already here."
"Is that Annmarie?" Juliette called out making her way out of the kitchen.
"Who else do you know with a basic white girls name?" She joked hugging her friend.
"Don't be silly, it's a pretty name." Taking her to the living room where everyone else was. "Let me introduce you to the others."
After a few minutes of introductions and hand shaking. "So what it is you do?" Wu asked.
"I'm a professor at Ilvermorny."
"Never heard of it." Wu said.
Shrugging her jacket off. "It's a private school in Massachusetts." She answered handing her jacket to Nick so he could go hang it up.
"Massachusetts must be beautiful this time of year." Rosalee commented.
Juliette brought Annmarie a glass of wine. "It is, the changing of all the colors is one of my favorite things this time of year." Taking a sip of her drink. "I'm glad to finally meet some of Juliette's friends."
"How do you two know each other?" Monroe asked.
"We went school together till I was 11 and was sent to Ilvermonry. We kept in touch via letters, she is one of my oldest friend."
The timer on the oven went off announcing the turkey was ready. Annmarie went to go help Juliette in the kitchen. "You know this could all go a little faster with some help." Juliette joked.
"You know that just because our rules have changed because of the battle of Hogwarts. I can't just go gun ho on who I tell about being a witch. We still need to be cautious on who we share that with. But if the moment presents itself I'll tell them."
"Ok, I wont say anything if you'll use magic to clean the dishes after dinner."
Holding out her pinky. "Pinky promise?" Juliette linked her pinky with Annmarie.
"What are you two pinky promising?" Nick walked into the kitchen.
"Just making a deal with Annmarie about her being a witch and sharing it with the others." Juliette smiled.
Nicks eyes widened. "You are ok with sharing?"
"I told Juliette if the moment presents it's self I'll say something. She promised she wont say anything till I'm ready."
"She's been so excited to tell our friends of this since she found out I'm a Grimm."
Annmarie sighed. "I know. It's just a little weird to get use to knowing that things are a little more lenient about sharing our identity. And I heard you when you told me these people can be trusted."
Nick nodded his agreement. "I fully understand that. We deal with the same thing about people with Wesen knowing who they are and me being a Grimm. We are behind you with whatever and I'll make sure to let them know how important it is to keep it zipped once you do share."
"Thanks that means a lot."
"Now go take a seat, Nick and I have this." Juliette shooed her away.
Annmarie took a seat next between Sean and Wu. "Did you always want to teach?" Wu asked once she was settled.
Shaking her head. "No, I actually was going to be something else. Than I was a teacher's aid for a semester and found out that I liked teaching so much more. What about you? What do you do?"
"I am a cop. I work with Hank, Nick, and the captain here."
"That's cool. How long have you been a cop?"
"A few years now."
Placing her napkin on her lap. "A few years? That is so cool." Nick and Juliette walked in with the food. Once the turkey was carved and everyone had a plate they dug in. "So you are a captain?" Annmarie asked Sean.
"I am. It's no professor at a private school but I enjoy it."
Grabbing for another roll. "Are you looking down at what I do?"
"No, not at all. I just…." He looked over at her to see she was smiling back at him. "Are you laughing at me?"
Reaching for a roll. "Just yanking your chain. You are very stoned faced and wanted to see if it was possible you were able to smile."
Watching her butter it. "I do, when I find something humorous."
"Than I'll see if I can get you to do just that." Eating some of her roll she looked over to Monroe and Rosalee. "So I know what some of these people do and you know what I do. What do you guys do for a living?"
"Well I'm a clockmaker. I repair clocks and watches for people, even for those outside of Portland. Rosalee owns and runs a apothecary."
Annmarie's jaw dropped a little. "That is absolutely amazing. You don't meet very many people with those as professions. It's really cool." Looking over to Juliette. "You always did have the most interesting group of friends."
"You can say that again." Nick said.
When everyone had picked clean the delicious dinner that was made, Juliette's stood. "Who's ready for dessert?" She asked as her and Nick went to get the various sugary treats.
Annmarie piled on 2 slices of pumpkin and a slice of cherry pie. "How do you still have room?" Hank looked over at her plate.
Getting some pie on her fork. "Fast metabolism." Taking a bite.
"Want to share that?" Nick added.
"Sharing isn't one of my best qualities. So I'll pass."
Rosalee was setting her drink down. "The holiday is about sharing." She joked.
"Not when it's the good stuff. And my metabolism is one of them." Everyone laughed as they stuffed there face with dessert.
Sean leaned over when Annmarie got to the cherry pie. "How's the pie?"
"The pumpkin was good but the cherry is decent."
"Not a fan?"
"You fishing for a compliment on your store bought cherry pie?" His eyebrow arched. "I had arrived when you got out of your car. I saw the box it came in."
Wiping his hands on his napkin. "How do you know I was bringing in the cherry and not one of the pumpkin?"
Annmarie snorted. "You seem like the kind of person who would forget they need to bring something and picked up the only kind of dessert they could find."
"You didn't bring anything."
"With a face like this I am the dessert."
Annmarie missed the corner of Sean's mouth go up when her attention was drawn towards Juliette. "Annmarie how long are you able to stay for again?"
"Just tonight. I have to leave tomorrow."
"Private school keeping you that busy over the holiday break?" Monroe asked.
"Some of the kids don't get to go home for the breaks. So the teachers alternate the holiday's of who's working each year. But one of the teachers found out as I was leaving his sisters went into early labor today. I told him I'd come back tomorrow so he can go have some time with his sister and the new addition."
Rosalee was pouring herself another glass of wine. "That's awfully nice of you."
"It's nothing really. He's been looking forward to being an uncle for sometime now." Annmarie waved it off.
Nick sat back rubbing his stomach. "I can not eat another bite."
"Same here." Moaned Hank.
"It was really good you guys." Wu spoke looking towards Juliette and Nick.
Everyone started collecting there plates. "No, no you guys. Just leave the plates we'll get it later." Juliette said.
"We can't do that after you cooked. The least we can do is help clean up." Rosalee said.
Annmarie placed her napkin on her plate. "Don't worry about it. I can get it since Nick and Juliette are nice enough to let me stay here tonight."
"We can't do that. There are a lot of dishes here, it'll take you forever to do them." Hank said.
"Exactly! There is a lot here for one person." Added Wu.
"No it's ok. It wont take that long for me, plus Nick and Juliette have always been so good to me it's my way of saying thank you."
Motioning for everyone to move. "Come on, lets have a few more drinks in the living room before we call it a night." Nick ushered everyone to the next room.
"So Monroe and Rosalie, how'd you two meet?" Annmarie took a seat on the bench by the window.
Hank and Wu took a seat on the couch as Juliette and Nick sat on the love seat together while Sean sat next to Annmarie. Monroe sat on one of the chairs wrapping an arm around Rosalee who sat on the arm rest. "We met while Monroe was helping Nick with a case." Rosalee loving looked over to Monroe when she finished.
"Was it love at first sight?"
Looking up at Rosalee with a goofy grin. "For me yes."
Gazing down at him. "It took me a moment, only because I had just lost my brother. So I wasn't really in a good place."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"Thanks."
Annmarie looked over at Juliette. "Are these two as disgustingly cute as you two? Because I need to make sure to carry more vomit bags anytime I visit. You and Nick are bad enough." Everyone chuckled.
Hank held up his beer. "Anti-nausea meds help."
"Ooo good to know." Grinned Annmarie.
Wu shrugged. "They aren't that bad."
"Thanks." Monroe said.
"Were not that bad either." Nick said looking over to Juliette. "Are we?"
"Dude, when I visited to meet you for the first time you two were very touchy feely while lovey dovey talking to each other as you were making breakfast. It was disgusting and very unsanitary to be honest."
Juliette rolled her. "You'll be just as gross as us when you find someone."
"Don't hold your breath." Laughing as she rose from her seat. "I need to use the restroom." Annmarie excused herself. When she returned Monroe, Rosalee, and Wu were clearing off the dinning table. "What's going on? I don't mind getting everything."
"Sorry we couldn't help ourselves. It's just so much work for one person." Rosalee said.
Annmarie went to the living room. "They are cleaning the table?"
Juliette shrugged. "Couldn't stop them."
"It's a good thing I love you." Annmarie went back into the dinning room.
"She's going to do it." Juliette got up having the others come with.
"You guys stop seriously." Annmarie pulled out her wand from the inside of her knee high boot. "This is why I didn't have a problem with doing the dishes for Juliette and Nick." She waved her wand causing the dishes that remained on the table to float towards the sink. While the ones in everyone's held floated out of their hands and to the sink as well which was now filling itself up. Everyone gapped as they watch the dishes start to wash, dry, than put themselves away.
Annmarie put her wand away when everyone turned back to her. "Care to explain?" Monroe broke the silence.
"Well, I'm a witch but not like the ones you consider Wesen. I'm from the Wizarding world. I've actually known about your kind since I went to school at Ilvermorny. We have Wesen there that actually choose to focus more on being a witch or wizard instead of the Wesen life. It also helps we have one of the professors who is Wesen, he teaches about other cultures out there including that. And to help the school out with understanding Wesen so there isn't issues for people who don't know. Though I didn't find out about Nick as a Grimm till I brought a friend with me during a break and she accidentally Woge. That caused a nice ruckus resulting in me finding out about all of you guys."
Sean's hands went to his hips. "Why are we just now finding out about you?"
"Because my world had this massive war 16 years ago that changed our regulations to who finds out about us among other things. And it's taken some getting use to with sharing who we are. Especially since like the Wesen world we have to be careful to who we share this with. So this stays with us. And don't be mad at Juliette or Nick because I did ask them to not say anything till I felt it was the right time to share."
Wu crossed his arms when he spoke. "Let me get this straight. There is not only a Wesen world but a Wizarding world too?" He look around at everyone.
They all looked just as shock as he was. "Ya, it's a lot to take in. Which was why I didn't want to say anything right away." Annmarie bit the inside of her cheek.
"So you are not a Hexenbiest?" Hank asked.
Shaking her head. "Yes and no. We share similarities but in my world we don't really Woge unless you are something like a werwolf. We do have people who are Animagus which means they can change into an animal. Not like a bunch of animals but a particular animal at will. And the animal you turn into is determined by your personality."
"Are you one of those?" Monroe asked.
"No, I don't have that ability. Never really showed any interest in it to learn to be one."
"So the school you teach at is for people like you?" Rosalee inquired.
Nodding. "Yes, it's not really a private school." She glanced over at Sean. "Its a school for wizards and witches. Muggles can't see it since it's charmed to stay hidden."
Scratching at his head. "What's a Muggle?" Wu asked.
"Non-magic people, yet anyone who isn't aware of my world doesn't really see it. Unless you are shown how to see it." Tucking some hair behind her ears. "So now you know about me. Would those who are Wesen mind doing a show and tell. I'd love see more Wesen."
Rosalee and Monroe shrugged. "We're ok with it. Though when I Woge it may be a lot but don't worry, it's still me." Monroe said as the two Woge.
Annmarie's eyes widened. "That is so cool. What kind of Wesen are you two?"
"Well I'm a Fuchbau and Monroe is a Blutbad." Rosalee answered.
"That is so amazing!" Looking around. "I was told there was 3 people in this little group of Nick and Juliettes that are Wesen."
Sean crossed his arms. "I'm not going to Woge because you tell me to."
Smirking. "Performance issues?"
"You wish."
Annmarie laughed looking Sean up and down. "This one is fun." She looked over to Juliette.
"Keep it in your pants." She pointed at her.
Turning back to Sean as everyone else went back to the living room. "Why do you really not want to Woge?"
Sticking his hands in his pockets. "It's not a party trick one does on command."
"You are to good looking to be such a stick in the mud." Annmarie joined the others. "So Hank and Wu. How are you guys taking knowing of Wesen?"
Hank shrugged. "It took me sometime to wrap my head around all this. But once I did it's been a fun ride."
"I thought I was going crazy. Even spent some time in a institution because of it. Now it's nice to know that I'm not going crazy and what I was seeing is real. Once I came to terms with it all." Wu set his empty beer on the coffee table.
"Though now that we know of the Wizarding world. I'm going to start to wonder who are Wesen and who are wizards and who are both." Hank added.
Annmarie snorted. "Have fun with that. We hide better than those guys since our version of a Grimm is just a omen for death and not a literal person."
Rosalee leaned forward. "So besides werewolves and what did you call them Ana…"
"Animagus."
"Yes Animagus, what other kind of creatures do you guys have?"
"Oh man, way to many to count thanks to Newt Scamander. Who not only collected creatures and information about them, but housed and took care of them too."
Everyone cocked there head in confusion. "Newt who?" Monroe spoke.
"Scamander. He's one of my favorite people that we got to learn about. And is the reason when I'm not teaching I help the care of magical creatures professor that's on the grounds with the animals. Like last week I got to help take care of a injured unicorn. Which I have been obsessed with unicorns since Juliette and I watched Legend when we were kids."
"Wait! Unicorns are real?" Rosalee gasped.
Nodding. "So are mermaids. They are ugly and dicks too."
"You are making all that up." Sean sipped on his drink.
"You guys are Wesen and I'm a witch and Nick is a Grimm. But you draw the line at unicorns and mermaids?"
"This entire time there has been those creatures. Yet, not even the Wesen world knows about it?" Sean pointed out
Rolling her eyes at him. "Even without our worlds. Like 95% the ocean is undiscovered. You can't tell me that mermaids are not well hidden in there. Also, in many countries there are numerous tribes living in the forest untouched by civilization. How do we know they don't have unicorns in there as well?"
"You're not going to win this." Nick told his captain.
"He would know. They got in a heated discussion over centaurs and lost miserably." Juliette said.
Monroe gasped. "Centaurs are real?"
Turning her attention to Monroe. "Ya and they are territorial. Gotta be respectful as well as careful when having anything to do with them."
"If there are Wesen that are your kind as well, why hasn't it trickled down about your kind and it's creatures to the Wesen world?" Sean brought up.
"It's usually because if a person is both Wesen and a witch or wizard, they usually end up picking one world to live in. Not saying that some don't live in both worlds. It's difficult to be in both and that's why they end up choosing." Placing her empty wine glass on the table. "I feel like I'm monopolizing the night. Was there anything else people wanted to talk about?"
Wu crossed his arms. "How are we suppose to compete with witches, unicorns, mermaids and centaurs?"
"We don't." Laughed Hank.
"You guys don't do anything after work? Anything fun?" Annmarie looked at everyone. "Though nothing can be as great as Juliette's and mine dance parties we had every summer I'd come to visit."
Juliette groaned as her face turned a light shade of pink. "I can't believe you brought that up."
"We were going to be the next girl group."
"With 2 girls?" Sean asked.
"Why not? It worked for Salt-N-Pepa and tATu and if we had just found one more female we could have been unstoppable."
Rosalee was grinning. "Did you guys have costumes and everything?"
Juliette bit her lip when she nodded yes. "My mom took us to a thrift store to let us pick them out."
"I bet you have a ton of embarrassingly funny stories to share." Annmarie gave Sean a light nudge.
"None that I'm ever sharing with you guys."
Making a disgusted face at him. "You are such a freaking bore." Looking to everyone else. "What about you guys?"
"Nothing as entreating as you trying to get a girl group off the ground. But I've been married multiple times." Hank shared.
Annmarie smiled at him. "I'm the same way with boyfriends. I just can't seem to keep them around."
Wu spoke. "Other than the fact you know I've spent time in a institution, I've got nothing."
"It seems it has helped, I'm glad for that. I know a lot of people who have either been in a institution or therapy and some still are in either or."
Monroe noticed Rosalee yawn. "It's getting late. We should probably go." As everyone else realized what time it was they made there way to the front door as Nick and Juliette saw them out.
Annmarie made her way to the kitchen for some more pie where she wasn't alone long."Finally going to show me yours and Woge?" When she took notice of Sean.
"I was thinking more along the lines of tasting the dessert that you brought."
"Why should you get a taste? You wont even show me yours?"
He took a step closer to her so they were inches apart from each other whispering in her ear. "I can show you more than just what Wesen I am." Placing his hand in his pockets Sean left Annmarie alone in the kitchen.
"Thanks for coming." Nick said when the captain walked up.
"I should be thanking you for the invite. The food was great."
Juliette handed Sean his jacket. "I hope that you don't feel Annmarie was to hard on you. She can get a little heated about things." She said.
"No need to apologize for anything. It was kind of fun and somewhat enlightening." Slipping on his jacket before he left. Sean made his way over to his car. Glancing down at his pocket when he reached for his keys his head shot up when he heard a crack finding Annmarie leaning against his car.
"Juliette and Nick aren't going to miss you?" He stood before her.
Scrunching her nose as she smiled. "I left them a note telling them thanks and I'll apparate back here next weekend. Which isn't unusual for me to do."
"Apparate?"
"Oh you are such a silly Muggle, you heard that crack before seeing me? That was me disappearing from the kitchen and reappearing here. It's how I get from work to here regularly without actually ever paying for a plane ticket."
When a light wind started up it blew some hair in front of Annmarie's face. Sean reached out brushing it away before his head jerk as he Woge showing Annmarie. "I'm a Zauberbiest, we use magic." Changing his face back.
"Not going to lie, that is slightly unsettling yet really hot." Annmarie ran her tongue lightly over her lips.
"Where did Annmarie get to?" Nick noticed when he went to the living room.
Juliette joined him. "I think she went to the kitchen."
When they went to the kitchen they found the note that was left. "She's gone? I thought she was staying the night." Nick removed the note off the fridge.
Sighing Juliette shook her head. "I know where she went." Heading for the front window. They peered out to see Sean Woge in front of Annmarie. "Did he just Woge?"
"Ya." Nick stood at her side just in time to see him Woge.
"I was kind of hoping something would have happened with Annmarie and Wu. I think he would have liked her world a lot."
Feeling Juliette rest her head on his shoulder. "He definitely would have." Wrapping an arm around her.
"Never had someone turned on before when I do that. Scared yes, but never turned on."
"So…" Pushing off the vehicle. "What next?" Sean reached past Annmarie opening the passenger side door before shortly closing it after she climbed in before doing the same on the driver side.
Annmarie gasped when she stepped through the front door of Sean's house. He watched her take in the beautiful home over looking Portland. "Would you like anything to drink?" He inquired hanging up his jacket.
"I'm good." Tossing the jacket she just removed on a nearby chair, Annmarie looked out the glass doors at the shining lights of Portland.
Sean moved directly behind her. "You like the view?"
Turning around to face him. "Maybe."
"How do I change that to a yes?" Tucking some hair behind her ear.
Reaching out. "For starters we can get that shirt off." Annmarie tugged at his button up he had on. "Hot damn." She spoke when the shirt fell to the floor.
"Your turn." Bitting her bottom lip Annmarie shook her head no as she apparated before Sean's eyes. He heard the crack of her appearing upstairs. Climbing the stairs he found her stripped down to her bra and panties. "That wasn't very nice."
Her hands on her hips. "Guess someone needs to show me the error of my ways. Other words I may continue being very, very bad."
Slowly making his way over to her Sean pinned Annmarie against the sliding glass doors leading to his porch. When she reached for his pants to unbuckle them Sean grabbed her wrists pinning them above Annmarie's head. His lips trailed up and down her neck before nibbling a little on her ear. Trailing along her jaw their lips connected seconds later. Sean moved his hands so one was gripping Annmarie's wrist and the free hand trailed down her body. Sliding his hand down her panties he felt she was wet. "Someone is excited."
"I have been the moment you Woge." Sean's eyebrow arched. "Conversation for another time."
"Is that so?"
"Yes." Annmarie leaned up to kiss him.
Letting go of Annmarie wrists Sean undid his pants, while he did that Annmarie removed her bra both tossing the clothing aside. The cool glass of the doors was pressed against Annmarie's back when Sean pressed her against it, lifting her up. Her legs wrapped tightly around his waist locking them at the ankles.
Annmarie's hands went through Sean's hair when he returned to kissing her. She could feel him getting hard through the thin fabric that was still left on them. Annmarie reached between them freeing Sean from the slit in his boxers. Pushing her underwear to the side she felt Sean thrust into her holding his position when he was buried deep in her, letting her adjust.
After a few moments Sean started to thrust into her causing a loud moan to escape her lips, it was like music to his ears. When she tugged on his hair as he repeatedly thrusted hard into her drove him crazy.
Getting a better grip on Annmarie Sean moved them from the window, dropping her on the bed he reached down pulling her panties off. Annmarie bit her bottom lip watching him climb out of his boxers. Climbing above her Sean took one of Annmarie's legs placing it over his shoulder before thrusting back into her. Her moans were loud bringing him closer and closer to the edge. The sound was intoxicating and he didn't want it to stop.
Annmarie moved so she was on top riding Sean who sat up as she continued. Hands resting on his shoulders Annmarie's head dropped back and her back arched. Sean took that moment to trail kisses down her neck to her breast. Feeling his mouth on her overly sensitive nipples Sean felt her tumble over the edge as she tightened around his cock. It was what he needed to follow.
Falling back on the bed his head hitting the pillow, Annmarie stayed straddling him looking down at Sean as both of them panted. "That was fun. Want to go again?"
Propping himself up on his elbows. "Again?"
"Out of stamina already?" Climbing off of him. "Probably not a good thing for the captain of a police station."
Sean caught Annmarie by the wrist when she got out of bed. "See you haven't learned your lesson." Giggling Annmarie leaned forward placing a kiss on Sean's lips before heading downstairs. Gulping down a glass of cold water Sean moved behind Annmarie, he took the glass from her placing it aside on the counter. His right hand traveled up her body and through her hair before grabbing a handful of it, tugging lightly so her head went back as he looked down at her. "Since you haven't learned your lesson the first time. Guess we'll have to get a little rougher this go around."
"Promise?" Smirking up at him.
The counter felt cool on Annmarie chest when Sean bent her over it. Feeling Sean position himself between her ass he whispered in her ear. "I promise." Thrusting into Annmarie.
Her moans gotten louder with every few thrusts driving him to continue, his hand that was buried in Annmarie's hair moved to her hip where his other hand resided. The grip provided him more leverage to continue his rough assault. When Annmarie would move to stand up Sean held her down not breaking his stride. If she wanted it rough, rough was what he was going to give her. With his tight grip on her hips he would pull her towards him every time he would thrust roughly into her.
After awhile he start to crave a new position, Sean turned Annmarie around before lifting her up onto the counter. When he had her lay back he pulled her towards the edge of the counter submerging himself deep in her already wet self. Annmarie's legs wrapped tightly around Sean when he leaned forward kissing her. His hands rested on other side of her on the counter as her hands cupped his face.
Feeling one of Sean's hands cup her breast Annmarie arched into his hand. His thumb grazed over her nipple causing it to harden before he squeezed it. When he squeeze harder a second time Annmarie squirmed from the pain. When Sean moved to her other breast doing the same thing Annmarie bit his lip when she moaned. She smirked when he pulled back to stare down at her. Smirking back he nipped at her neck knowing that there will be marks left behind and he was happy about that.
Moving to the other side of her neck Sean nibbled some more when he heard Annmarie moan his name sending him over the edge with her tumbling behind him.
Annmarie sat up after Sean pulled himself out of her as he took a step back, still standing between her legs. "You had to give me hickies didn't you?"
"Just leaving my mark."
"I'll remember that for next time."
"Next time?"
Placing a hand on his chest. "Yes if you are game for it. Muggle."
Sean Woged. "You know I am."
"That's never going to get old." She giggled sliding off the counter.
Changing back he didn't move, keeping his close proximity to Annmarie. "Another round?"
"I think twice is my limit for tonight."
The two ended upstairs in bed, Sean laid on his side while Annmarie laid on her stomach. "My entire life I've never met someone who didn't flinch the first time they saw me Woge." Sean said.
"That's the least scary thing I've seen in my entire life. And I've had a ghost go through while peeing in the girls bathroom." Annmarie laughed seeing the questioning face Sean gave her. "A story for another time."
"Staring with that one."
"Does it hurt when you Woge?"
Thinking for a second. "Not really, feels weird. Like a little tingly but other than that no pain."
"Was it scary the first time you did it?"
"Kind of but it was because I was 13 and my mom wasn't very nurturing about it."
Annmarie frowned. "Awe that's so sad."
"It's ok. She was a good mother, she just wasn't that nurturing of a normal mother."
Reaching out Annmarie cupped his face with one hand a thumb rubbing up and down his cheek. "Still, that had to be scary."
His hand went up to hers on his cheek. "Well we were on the run. Which is another story for another time."
Tucking her hand back under the pillow her head was resting on."So are you parents a Hexenbiest and a Zauberbiest?"
"My mother is a Hexenbiest but my father isn't a Zauberbiest which makes me a half Zauberbiest. Are both your parents witches?"
"My parents are. Thought it's still always a little nerve racking if your kids will turn out to be one. Because there are wizarding families that have squibs. Which are people who are born with wizarding parents but end up without magic. FYI it's witch for females and wizard for males." Annmarie covered her mouth when she began to yawn. "Sorry."
Sean reached out causing Annmarie to roll on her side, back to him so he could pull her close. "I've got to say, this is a good way to spend Thanksgiving."
"This has been by far one of my better ones."
Sean woke the next day to find he was alone in bed. The side that Annmarie was on was cold which he gathered meant it's been empty a long time. He wasn't sure if he should be upset that he woke up alone from their one night stand or just roll with it. It wasn't like they were dating or discussed there was going to be more after what they did last night.
Climbing out of bed he slipped on a pair of sweats from his dresser and headed downstairs to make himself some coffee. Only when he got to the kitchen he found it seemed somehow alive. Spatulas we're flipping over pancakes on the stove as another was making scrambled eggs. While tongs were flipping over bacon. He looked towards the deck when movement caught his eye to see Annmarie dancing with a coffee in one hand a piece of bacon in another. She was in nothing but one of his shirts. Upon opening the sliding door the music tumbled through. "Morning." Smiling when she noticed Sean in the doorway, turning the music off.
"You know that's a little unsettling to come down to see food being prepared and not a person in sight actually preparing it?" Glancing back at the kitchen.
"It takes some getting use to." Setting her cup of coffee down on the table by her. "Take a seat I'll get breakfast." Annmarie reached up to pull her wand out from the bun it had her hair in. As her hair cascaded down her back she motioned her wand and the food in the kitchen plus silverware and dishes came out.
Watching the table set it self. "I can't believe you did all that with just a stick."
"Watch it now. I didn't have to make you breakfast." Using her wand to put her hair back up in a loose bun.
Pouring himself some coffee. "Did you really make any of it if you used magic to make it all?"
Rolling her eyes. "Well if you're going to be like this I'm going to leave."
Sean caught Annmarie by the wrist when she passed him. "I'm sorry. This is actually really nice, thank you." She laughed when he pulled her on to his lap.
"We can't be doing this right now." Annmarie playfully pushed him away when Sean kissed at her neck. "I already have a bunch of hicky's from you from last night. And I need to be leaving in a few."
His hand that rested on her thigh started to trail it's way up her leg. "I think both our jobs can do without us for the morning. Don't you?" Going back to nuzzling her neck.
"Tempting but no." Pushing him away she gotten up. "I've stayed longer than I should have."
Watching Annmarie grab some bacon off the table. "How do I get ahold of you if I want?"
"I'll be back next month. I told Juliette and Nick I'd come for Christmas."
"What if I want to see you before that?"
Grabbing her coffee of the table. "That would involve you owning an owl."
"What?"
"Electronics don't work at the school. We send letters via owls as well as a few other ways to communicate. But owls are the most common."
"You're kidding?"
Annmarie laughed. "I joke about a lot of things. This isn't one of them." Grabbing some more bacon. "I should get going." Heading inside.
Sean went after her. "If you didn't want to see me again. You could have just said so instead of telling me that the only way to talk to you is to send an owl."
"If you don't believe me you can ask Nick or Juliette. Madmartigan nearly gave Nick a heart attack when he almost took his head off delivering a letter to Juliette."
"Madmartigan?"
Slipping her pants on that she picked up off the bedroom floor. "Ya my owl, duh." Looking over to Sean after she retrieved her shirt. "Stop giving me those puppy dog eyes. Staying here and not getting dressed would be so much fun with you after last night. Alas I can't do that and neither can you." Annmarie finished getting dressed. Taking her wand out of her hair and placing it in back in her boot Annmarie went over to Sean. "Now when I come for Christmas can I look you up?"
"You better." He smiled.
"I knew I'd get you to smile." Annmarie leaned up kissing Seans cheek before apparating.
