Chapter 2: Harry Is Alive?
After the battle in the Death Chamber the Order of the Phoenix mourned the loss of Harry. Molly had kept all her children close so that she may comfort them. Albus hung his head knowing that with the loss of Harry it meant Voldemort had won. The boy had been their only chance at ending the Dark Lord for good.
Word spread about the death of the Boy - Who - Lived being dead. His loss shocked all of the wizarding community. All those who had depended on him to end the war a second time. Had felt the crushing weight of fear and hopelessness. Who would save them now that Harry Potter had died.
It was the dark side that rejoiced at the end of the boy who opposed their master. But Voldemort knew that it wasn't that easy to get rid of Harry. He had no doubt that Harry would once more do the impossible. For now he would use this time to regrow his army once more. He would let his minions party and think that they had won.
Remus Lupine scoured the Black library for any spell that would help him find Harry. His inner wolf was adamant that their cub was alive. And so Remus did what he did best and researched. No one knew what would happen if someone went through Veil. Most assumed you died the moment you are thrown inside it. But Remus had this feeling that it was more than its name applies.
It had taken a month before the Order heard the surprise shout of Sirius Black. Ever since the day Harry went through the Veil he had locked himself in the tapestry room. So to hear his shout meant something had happened that they weren't privy to. Feet pounded on the steps as Sirius raced down them.
He threw the doors open and slapped a part of the tapestry onto the table. His eyes had regained life and hope bubbled up in his chest. Sirius calmed himself before he opened his mouth and spoke. "Harry's name on the Black Tapestry shows the date of his birth but there is no death date. In fact Harry's name had magically changed and a new date was formed under the first. Again there is no death date. Harry Potter, my godson is alive!"
Everyone looked at him in shock before it clicked what he had said. Remus grabbed that piece Sirius had slapped down and read the new name. "Byakuya Kuchiki. That sounds an awful lot like a Japanese name to me." He set it down and looked at all the hopeful faces. "Sirius is right, Harry is still alive. We can't search Japan because its too big so all we can do is wait."
Albus stroked his beard in thought before Fawkes flamed in and settled on his shoulder. "I have an old friend I can contact to help narrow the search. I will write him a letter and see what he says. I agree with Remus, we need to wait. I have a feeling we will be seeing Harry Potter soon."
No one seemed to realize that Byakuya would never be able to settle back into being Harry Potter. Nor would he ever be the same as he was before falling through the Veil. He would be someone Voldemort would fear more than Albus Dumbledore.
Short I know but once Byakuya (Harry) is back in the Order I will try to post longer chapters. I hope everyone likes the story so far!
