Chapter 5: Enter Captain Kuchiki

Diagon Alley was calm and bustling with a crowd of wizards and witches. Byakuya had seen it enough back home that he tuned it out. He had patrolled the alley from above and saw nothing out of the ordinary. His new focus was on the darker alley, Knockturn Alley. He could feel the dark reiatsu pouring from that place. He held up a finger and summoned one of a pair of Spy Butterflies. They were of his own creation and now he could put them to good use. Keeping one with him he had the translucent butterfly enter the seedy pud that was in that alley. It was one way to get information without the hassle of hiding in the shadows.

He stood on the roof of the seedy pub but stuck to the shadows. He would be able to hear what is said inside without anyone the wiser for it. Mayuri should really stop talking about his ideas within hearing range of others. He mused as he focused on what was being spoken. "Anyone have any clue as to our lords plan for tonight?" He heard someone ask as he kept an eye on the alley just in case. "According to Bellatrix a few of our members got put back into Azkaban. If I remember correctly, Lucius is one of them. Our lord wants his inner circle for the bigger plans. So my guess is there will be a raid on the prison tonight."

He pinched the bridge of his nose and tried hard not to groan at wizarding stupidity. It amazes him just how stupid wizards and witches could be. Even he knew it was a bad idea to raid a building they had raided before. For all they know the security was updated or something. Still he would have to be there to make sure no one gets a free pass. Maybe he should head there now and clean it out before the raid. Might confuse some of the more slower Death Eaters. He did owe that Bellatrix woman a thank you for kind of killing his past self. That sounds like a solid plan to me master. Will we kill all the dementors while in the process?

Byakuya actually had to think about that but then decided they should. His past self had a good memory of what those things were like. They were abominations just like the vaunted Voldemort was. He could use the kido spell Byakurai on the prisoners. And he could use Rokujokuro on the guards leaving him the room to kill off the dementors so they couldn't be used on anyone. He called back his butterfly and made them disappear then with a single flash step he was gone. It was time to go on the attack and hopefully cut Voldemorts army down.

Azkaban was a dreary, stormy and dark place. Byakuya had no idea how anyone would think that this place was suitable for a prison. It was cold and he could feel the taint of the dementors from where he was. Time to clean house as the humans say. He landed infront of the prison and walked in through the front gate. "Hey! You can't be here!" He raised a brow at the guard and held up a hand. "Rokujokuro." He soon had the guard bound in the kido spell. He had to repeat it so many times he had lost count. But as he bound the last of the guards he could feel the dementors getting closer. He would be in for a long fight but it would be worth it.

He pulled his sword from its sheath and in two words released his Shikai. "Scatter Senbonzakura." Thousands of pink petals surged forward acting as a shield while he started killing inmates left and right. For every inmate killed two to three dementors were culled by his Zanpakuto's Shikai power. He didn't need to go into Bankai yet but it was enough that he would have just enough time to meet the party outside the front gates.

It had taken him almost an hour to clean out the prison. The dementors were all culled and the prisoners killed so that no one could be hurt by them again. When he reached the deepest part he could see a large seal on a door. He would check it out once he was done with the raiding party. He flash stepped through the near silent prison and stopped in the shadows. Leaving his Zanpakuto in its Shikai state, it added to the flare he was known for.

Bellatrix was the first to arrive then the others joined her. Once everyone was there she turned to the prison. Holding her wand at the ready she grew confused. "Where are the guards and the dementors?" Fenrir had been added to the party as extra muscle. So it was concerning when he let out a loud rumbling growl. All grew even more confused when pink petals fell all around them.

"The guards are safe and all the dementors have been killed. You have nothing here that is of dire need. Leave here and never return." Byakuya made his slow calm walk out of the prison gates. He showed no emotion and his words were like weapons. He was not fearful of this group and one of them he would capture for Mayuri. Just to keep the mad scientist from trying to harass him for test subjects.

Fenrir twitched before he stepped around Bellatrix and stood in the mans way. "Who are you to tell us to leave? No one has ever killed a dementor, they are unkillable." He snarled as he began to change into his wolf counterpart. He would show this upstart his place and maybe bite him. Force him to join his pack and serve Lord Voldemort.

Byakuya raised a brow as he held up a finger and pointed it at the changing man. "Byakurai." He shot off a beam of light piercing then werewolf in the head and killing him. "May your soul never find peace in Hell." He held up the hilt of his sword and let the blade reform. It was still in its Shikai state but he was going to enjoy the fight. He needed it more than he thought he did.

Bellatrix was shocked before she started throwing curses at the man. "He can't avoid us all. Keep the spells flowing!" She ordered her masters men, two of them being her husband and brother in law.

He used flash step to dodge and his blade to block. He easily dispatched every single Death Eater but Bellatrix. He wanted to take his time with her and he would do that here and now. Byakuya held up his hand and shot off another spell. "Rokujokuro." The six rods of light pierced her and bound her. He then sheathed his Zanpakuto and stepped up to the woman who had practically killed him in his past life. "There is much we have to talk about Bellatrix."

Next chapter is a continuation of this one. I forgot to mention Byakuya looks the same as he does in TYBW. Im also really terrible at fight scenes so I apologize now that in the future most of them will suck. The next chapter will have a bit of torture in it just a warning to my readers.
