Mr. E narrowed his eyes at Zane as the Master of Ice kept his gaze locked to each other. "Are you The Watcher?" Zane questioned as Mr. E cracked his neck joints. "Are you The Watcher?!" He questioned loudly.
Mr. E simply stood in silence as he reached out to his helmet, pressed some buttons on the bottom of it as the helmet unfastened itself and he dropped it onto the ground. What Zane saw shocked him to the metallic bone as Mr. E's head revealed to be a mirror version of himself, the only difference was his skin was darker and his eyes were blood red.
"What? No, it, it can't be," Zane said in horrified shock, "You're, you're me." He said.
Mr. E said nothing as he charged at Zane, who flinched as he quickly took out his bow and shot some arrows, which Mr. E simply deflected with his hands as he swatted them away as he punched Zane hard in the chest and grabbed his legs and tossed him aside as Zane nearly fell from the cliff but he dropped his bow.
Zane then turned to his duplicate. "Who are you?" He questioned as Mr. E cracked his knuckles with a glare as Zane stood up and got into a ready stance as the two then start fighting in close combat, but Mr. E landed hard blows on Zane as the two block and strike each other before Zane nearly fell close to the cliff before the two punched again before Mr. E sent a hard punch, knocking Zane back as he fell to the ground as he stood up while seeing his chest plate was open as he closed it with a serious look.
Zane then stood up and charged up his ice powers as he went up to Mr. E. "Who. is. In. Charge!" Zane yelled as with each word he blasted Ice at Mr. E before kicking him back. He panted, thinking he won until Mr. E started shaking as his arms broke free and he shattered the rest of the ice and looked at Zane neutrally as a smirk slowly formed on his face, as if he was saying 'is that the best you can do?'.
"Who-?!" Zane exclaimed before Mr. E charged at him and fought harder on Zane, damaging him even further as his right arm started to spark up as Mr. E walked up in front of him as Zane's eyes started to flicker. "You don't… have to do this." He panted.
Mr. E then grabbed him by the shoulder and lifted him up to eye level. "True. But I choose to." He said in a dark yet similar voice to Zane, devoid of any emotion. Mr. E then pushed Zane back and delivered a powerful air kick that sent Zane over the edge.
Zane yelled as he fell off the cliff and crashed into some boulders, damaging him even further as he fell on his back as Zane landed on his back in front of the bikes as Zane groaned.
Mr. E put a boot on Zane's chest, crushing it slightly while looking right into his eyes, "Enaz Superior, Zane Inferior." He said, stomping down hard on Zane's chest.
Zane's eyes kept flickering as he weakly turned to his duplicate. "Enaz…." He muttered before he shut down as his eyes went out, too damaged to stay online.
Enaz looked down at his doppelganger, feeling no emotion before he kneeled down and opened up Zane's damage chest and placed something in it as he closed Zane's chest and stood up before looking down at the offline Zane as he put on his helmet and pressed on the side.
"It's me, Watcher. The trap has been set." Enaz reported before walking back to his bike, mounting onto it and riding off, leaving Zane broken in the desert sand.
Zane just laid there, offline as the desert's sand blew around him before his right eye beeped a few times, sending a signal to the others.
It was then night time in the middle of the desert as the Destiny's Bounty flew overhead with the NInja, Harumi, Skylor, and Seliel aboard, scanning the sands for any sign of Zane.
"Any sign of him?" Rose asked in concern.
"Nothing yet," Kai said with a frown while shining some lights on the ground as they tried to find Zane before they slowly got up to his damaged body as Kai shined the light over him. "There he is!" he called.
"Someone get down there, now!" Lydie ordered as they dropped down ropes as She, Nya, Jay and Demir dropped down and rushed up to him. "Oh no, Zane." She said in worry, seeing the state he was in. "Zane, can you hear me?"
"What did they do to you?" Nya said in worry.
"Say something Zane, can you hear us? Zane?" Jay called but got no response.
"He needs repairs, now." Demir said urgently before looking up to the Bounty, "Lower the Gurney, quickly!"
The gurney then dropped down a medical bed as Demir and Jay rushed to it, "Hang on, brother. Hang on." Lydie told Zane as they carefully placed the Nindroid in the bed and connected him to the gurney, "Okay, now hoist him up." She called as Zane was lifted up slowly.
A bit later, they are in the medical bay while hooking Zane up to a computer while everyone gathered around in worry expressions. "Pixal, how bad is it?" Lloyd asked in concern.
"He has extensive damage to all systems, internal and external." Pixal informed, her tone sounding close to breaking, while showing the damage that Zane has. "His neural net and cognitive cores suffered severe failures."
"Can you save him?" Rose asked hopefully.
"I've diverted power to critical life functions. But Zane will have to do most of the work." Pixal explained while pointing to Zane's head and power core. "He must reconfigure his system and reboot himself."
"Isn't there anything we can do?" Harumi asked in concern.
"Borg Tech would have the stuff we need to help him," Cole said, "But it's smack in the middle of Ninjago City."
"Out of the question." Seliel said to her boyfriend. "The Sons of Garmadon are all over the streets. And with them having two Oni masks after seeing what they can do, it's not safe."
"First they steal from Pixal's father, they blow up Harumi's home, trash Skylor's restaurant and Seliel's Village and take them captive, take over Dareth's bar and now Mr. E does this to Zane?" Lydie listed while gesturing to the deactivated Ninidroid, "All to bring back the evil version of our father? These guys are seriously hitting us where it hurts." She added as Lloyd placed a hand on his sister's back, knowing what she meant.
"How are we supposed to take these guys down?" Demir wondered, looking at the others. "We don't even know who's leading these stupid bikers."
Kai sighed, "I wish Master Wu was here, he'd know what to do," He said solemnly.
"Oh yeah, thank you for reminding us we're still not any closer to finding him," Jay said sarcastically.
"Guys, we have to keep moving." Lloyd said to them. "Or the Sons of Garmadon will find us. They'll also do anything to get their hands on the child."
"I still don't get how a baby could be a key," Kai said confusedly.
"Neither do we, but that's what those goons called him, 'The Key to the Third Mask'." Morro told them.
"Maybe the kid's parents are the guardians of the Mask?" Seliel suggested.
"But if they did, shouldn't the Sons of Garmadon either kidnap them or hand them the mask by now?" Skylor reminded them. "Because unlike most parents, they'll do anything for the mask, but from how that baby was found, I'm not sure."
"Then we need to find out how this baby is the key to the third mask before The Sons of Garmadon find out themselves." Harumi told them.
"Then we need to disappear." Lydie declared. "Get as far away from Ninjago City as we can."
"Hm." Jay hummed as they turned to him. "Doesn't seem right. Abandoning Ninjago City." He protested.
"We're not abandoning the city, Jay." Lydie assured him.
"Yeah, there are others who will protect her." Lloyd added.
"Like who?" Kai asked.
"There's always Samurai X." Nya spoke up. "Whoever that is."
"Whoever it is, they're going to have to cover for us until we get a handle on things." Lydie said as she turned to the monitor. "Pixal, set a new course. Anywhere but here." She ordered as Pixal did just that as they all looked at Zane in worry as the Bounty took off.
Later, the Ninja were in their barracks dealing with their most difficult challenge yet:
Parenthood.
The baby was crying loudly as Cole, Jay, Morro, Lydie, Kai, and Lloyd were trying to calm him down. "He might be thirsty." Lydie said as she gave the baby to Morro. "Give him some milk."
"I tried that already. He doesn't like milk." Morro said to Lydie before passing the baby to Kai.
"What else do babies drink?" Jay questioned.
"Don't ask me. Ask him." Kai said as he gave the baby to Jay while he kept crying.
"He's a baby! He hasn't learned how to talk yet!" Cole pointed out.
"Does he need a diaper change?" Lydie suggested that Jay gave the baby to Cole.
"Oh my gosh! Do we even have diapers!?" Cole asked in panic.
"Why would we need diapers? We're ninja," Lloyd pointed out.
"Maybe we can use one of our hoods as a substitute." Morro suggested.
"Not my hood!" Kai said with a look.
"We'll draw straws." Lydie said firmly. "Loser gives up their hood."
Just then Harumi came into the room and saw them struggling. "Here, let me try." She offered as Cole handed her the baby and started singing softly. "The spider's in the dark l, sleep, sleep." She sang softly as the group watched in surprise by her singing. "The spider bit the mouse, sleep, deep. Don't wake up, or else you'll find a spider in your mouth." She sang as the baby yawned as he was drifting to sleep.
"Wow, you're really good at that." Cole said in amazement.
"My mother sang me that lullaby before bed," Harumi said with a smile, "The poor thing was just exhausted, too much excitement for one day," She said as Lloyd gave her a smile, "He'll go to sleep now," She said, placing the baby down.
"What mother sings her kid a lullaby about spiders?!" Lydie asked with a creeped out look.
"Harumi has a thing with spiders." Lloyd explained, which made Harumi give a sheepish smile. "Wouldn't be surprised if her mother sings to her about her love for spiders."
"Of course she did." Lydie said with a dull look.
"Am I missing something?" Harumi questioned confusedly.
"Captain's afraid of Spiders," Kai said with a sly grin.
"Seriously? But they're so cute," Harumi told her with an amused smile.
"They are not cute." Lydie argued. "They are eight-legged, hairy, venom-field, web-spinning, creepy crawly freaks!" she stated.
"Then I guess I shouldn't tell you that I used to have a pet tarantula when I was a kid." Harumi said sheepishly.
Lydie's eyes widened from that info. "Lloyd, dear sweet little brother, you have seriously weird taste in girls." She said with a look.
Lloyd gave a sheepish look while Harumi gave an awkward one. "I'll just… let myself out." Harumi said as she left the room as Lloyd followed after her.
On the deck of the Bounty, Lloyd and Harumi looked over the rails as they looked down below. "My father told me they call this Dead Man's Squall." Lloyd said as he and Harumi looked down and saw some thunder clash storm clouds below them.
"Seems fitting to the name." Harumi commented before turning to Lloyd. "Do you or your sister remember much about your father before he became Lord Garmadon?"
"No. Not really." Lloyd answered. "I mean, Lydie, I can't say. And as for me, I was too young to remember a bit about my father." He said before turning to Harumi. "What about you? Remember anything about your parents?"
Harumi looked down in sadness before giving a small sigh. "My parents were the greatest. Sometimes, I see them in my dreams, that they're right next to me." She said with a frown. "It's like they're still here, but then I… I wake up."
Lloyd then looked down in guilt. "I-I'm still sorry about what happened to your parents Rumi." He said in a guilty tone. "I still can't help but feel like it's my fault your parents are gone. If I hadn't released the Serpentine, they'd still be here," He said, with his head low and his eyes closed.
Harumi looked at him before she placed a hand on his, making him turn to her and saw her smiling, "But then I wouldn't have met you," She said as Lloyd gave a small smile. "I know it must be difficult to think they're trying to bring your father back. Lydie feels the same way after Garmadon saved all of Ninjago from Chen's army. I can't imagine what must be going through both your heads." She said as Lloyd gave a frown. "But know whatever happens, I'll be here." She finished with a smile.
Lloyd looked at Harumi with a smile as he gave a sheepish chuckle. "Y-Yeah. And I'm glad you're here, Harumi." He said.
"Thanks Lloyd." Harumi said with a smile. "And besides you know that I blame Pythor for what happened to my parents." She said as the two shared a chuckle, Harumi then put a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "But know this, Lloyd, you have your friends, your sister, and most of all, me to be there for you." She said as the two looked at each other as Harumi consciously leaned closer to Lloyd, which made the Golden Ninja feel uncomfortable.
"Uh, I better go see what the-" Lloyd stammered as he backed away a bit. "Um, I have to go, uh, that way." He said as he quickly walked off while Harumi gave a teasing smile at him as she gave a giggle.
"He's cute when he's embarrassed." Harumi teased with giggles.
Down below deck, Morro and Lydie watched the baby sleep, with the Master of Darkness leaning against her boyfriend, "You know, this might actually be good practice," Lydie said with a smile.
"Practice? For what?" Morro asked.
"Parenting skills." Lydie answered. "I mean, Wu found you as a baby, and from what I can tell, you never had parenting skills before, let alone babysitting."
"O-Oh, uh, yeah I, I guess so," Morro said with a blush while rubbing the back of his head, "A-Are you trying to say-
"Oh, no, nonono! I-I didn't mean like anytime soon." Lydie quickly said with a blush on her cheeks. "I mean, we are a couple, but, heh, it's uh, a bit too soon for that."
"Oh, y-yeah of course." Morro said with a nervous chuckle while rubbing his head nervously. "I mean I'm not opposed to that." He said before his eyes widened as he realized what he said. "W-Wait! I-I mean, uhh, what I meant to say was that I wouldn't mind starting a Family someday, No! Wait! I mean…. Ugh!"
Lydie gave giggles. "You're worse at trying to correct your words than Kai." She commented.
Morro gave a growned. "Don't compare me to that hot head. I may be a bad boy, but I'm not that much of a hothead bragger." He said.
"Yeah you are a bad boy." Lydie said before giving her boyfriend a teasing smirk. "Little glow worm."
Morro gawked at her before he groaned. "Zane showed you the video while he was watching, wasn't he?" He questioned.
"Yep, and I have it recorded." Lydie told him as she showed her the recording on her phone much to Morro's shock. "Gee, I wonder what would happen if this video accidentally got leaked on the Internet? It could really harm your bad boy image." She said with a smirk.
"You wouldn't dare!" Morro said with a glare.
"Maybe, maybe not." Lydie said with a shrug. "Although, I could be talked out of it if my bad boy boyfriend would do something for me."
"Ugh, blackmail, really?" Morro questioned with a brow. "Are you sure your father didn't leave any evil inside you?"
"Just a thing all girlfriends do." Lydie said with a smirk. "So, do you agree or not?"
Morro then gave a sigh. "Alright, what do you want?" He asked in defeat.
"I want you to meet me in my room in 15 minutes." Lydie told him much to Morro's confusion.
"Um, okay, why?" Morro asked in confusion.
"Oh, I just wanted the two of us to have a little fun together." Lydie said with a small smirk and stood up. "Some physical fun if you know what I mean." She added with a seductive smirk while tilting her hips and running a hand over her thigh to her butt.
Morro's eyes widened by what Lydie just suggested. "W-Wait, you mean that-"
"Mmhm." Lydie hummed with a nod. "And I'll post this video to the media and ruin your reputation unless you do as I say and make sure I'm very satisfied at the end." She added while holding up her phone teasingly.
Morro blushed heavily as he looked between her and the phone as he gave a groan. "You're not gonna stop until that happens, won't you?"
"Nope." Lydie said with a smirk as she gestured to the door. "Let's go. Because knowing our luck, something might happen." She said as she walked off to the door.
Morro gave a groan. "If Zane wasn't damaged right now, I would've put a few more dents in his dents by now." He muttered as he stood up and followed after Lydie. "B-But wait, who's gonna watch the baby?" He questioned.
"Don't worry, I'll get one of the others to look after him." Lydie assured him. "Now quick stalling and let's go."
"Okay, okay." Morro said with his arms raised. "Sheesh, such a clingy girlfriend." He muttered quietly.
"I heard that." Lydie said before she then grabbed Morro's shoulder and dragged him out of the room as Morro gave a surprise yelp as the door closed, leaving the baby sleeping alone.
With Skylor and Seliel, they were making their beds in the guests room since they knew it was risky to return to their home while the Sons of Garmadon run amok. "I can't believe some lowly gangsters kidnapped us just cause we were friends with the ninja" Seliel said in annoyance. "And if that wasn't bad enough, they destroyed my wholel town."
"Yeah, and they destroyed my noodle shop?" Skylor questioned. "I mean, sure, I still own a noodle empire, but destroying one of my shops is not cool! Especially since it was Cole's favorite place. I think he took it hard though." She said while rubbing her chin.
"He does like Chen's food." Seliel said with a chuckle. "But still, how can this Watcher turn a gangster group into a military faction? It's like he had years of training."
"Clearly with a very smart and dangerous villain, on par with Pythor even," Skylor stated.
Seliel then had a thought. "What if Pythor is The Watcher? We haven't seen him in a while."
Skylor gave a small laugh. "Pythor may be good in evil ways, but even he couldn't keep together a group this big for so long." She stated. "Besides, trying to worship Garmadon in his evil ways, not in his profile."
"Okay, good point." Seliel said before she groaned. "Seriously, this is complicated to tell. And whoever did this, so gonna pay for what they did to my home and your noodle shop."
Just then, Lydie popped her head through the door. "Hey, can one of you two keep an eye on the baby? Morro and I have some…. important business to take care of." She said with a sly smile.
Skylor and Seliel knew that look as the two shared smirks as Skylor spoke. "Sure. We can keep an eye on the baby, Lydie." She said with a smirk.
"Great." Lydie said with a smile. "He's in the barracks and-"
"Yeah, yeah, we know where he is." Seliel said with a smirk. "You and Morro go on about your, business, girl. We got this." She said to her with a teasing tone, as the two girls walked out of the room and passed Morro.
"Good luck, Windbag," Seliel told him with a smirk.
"Try not to break something," Skylor added.
"Very funny." Morro said with a look as he sighed. "I should've picked another way to escape instead of singing." He muttered as Lydie kept her smirk to her boyfriend.
"Come on, breezy. No time to waste." Lydie said with a teasing tone as she and Morro walked in and Lydie locked the door, "I've got to establish the rules."
"Rules?" Morro asked nervously.
"Yes. Rules. First Off…" Lydie started as she began undressing until she was down to her underwear as Morro blushed even redder. "Only in our under garments. And second, I am in control of the outcomes." She added as she stepped forward to Morro with a smirk.
"Uh, I mean, u-um…" Morro stammered while Lydie gave a smirk while gesturing to herself.
"Like what you see?" Lydie asked as Morro backed away from her and ended up falling on a bed while she crawled over to him, bringing her face to his.
"Uh, well, um…" Morro stammered. "You do look… great." He managed to say while Lydie kept her sly smirk.
"Yeah, I thought so." Lydie said as she got closer to Morro. "Now, bad boy, meet bad girl." She said as she then got into a passionate kiss with Morro, which surprised him as she held his face while Morro slowly reached out and wrapped his arms around her backside as the two enjoyed their moment together as they moaned into the kiss.
In the Ninja's barracks, Skylor and Seliel smiled down at the baby sleeping cutely. "Aw, he's even cuter while sleeping." Skylor said with a smile.
"He definitely is." Seliel added before the baby yawned and then started to wake up as it gave a frown. "Uh, oh." She muttered as she and Skylor knew what came next as the baby started crying.
"Hey, it's okay. It's okay, little guy." Skylor said to him with a small smile as the baby stopped for a bit before he started crying again. "This is gonna be tough."
"Maybe he needs a little tickle-tummy." Seliel said with a smile as she started ticking the baby's stomach, causing him to give a laugh. "There, that wasn't so…" she stopped when she noticed something off about his blanket. "Hey, wait a minute."
"What is-" Skylor stopped herself when she saw what Seliel was looking at. "Wait, oh my gosh." She muttered in shock.
Meanwhile, the Bounty was flying through the thunder storm while Nya was at the wheel with Jay behind him as he flinched from the lightning clashes. "Wow, look at that storm." Jay said in surprise at the storm.
"You know, there was an ancient tribe in Ninjago that feared an ancient storm serpent called Wojira." Nya commented. "They believed Wojira would someday return to raise the sea and bring down the sky."
"Wojira?" Jay wondered before giving a chuckle. "That's silly." He commented before the thunder clashed closer to the Bounty, startling Jay. "Not so silly anymore!"
"Jay? Nya?" Pixal's voice spoke up from the monitor. "Can you come to Control?"
A bit later, most of the group are already at Control where Zane is as Morro and Lydie came in last, fully dressed after their little fun they had together. "Everything okay in here?" Lydie asked the group.
"Why are your hairs a little messed up?" Kai asked, noticing that Morro and Lydie's are a bit messed up.
"The storm messed us up," Morro told him.
"But that's not important." Lydie said, glad that the storm is a bit convincing for them. "What's going on? Is Zane doing okay?"
"There's been a development." Pixal said while showing Zane's vitals. "I have been attempting to repair the damage to his system when I stumbled on something." She explained before she played a recording.
"Enaz Superior, Zane Inferior." Enaz's voice spoke up.
"Enaz?" Demir asked in confusion. "Who's that?"
"It was a digital communication of Mr. E." Pixal said.
"Mr. E's name is Enaz?" Jay said in confusion.
"Wait, Enaz is Zane spelled backwards," Cole realized.
"Isn't that a bit coincidental?" Nya questioned with a brow.
"Wait a minute, you're saying that-" Lloyd started.
"Mr. E's a Nindroid?!" Morro finished in shock. "That's crazy!"
"His voice was more digital and robotic than that of a normal human," Pixal informed them.
"Great, so another Nindroid is on the loose, probably even more advanced, if it can bust up Zane." Kai complained.
"That is an awful thing to think about." Rose said in concern.
"But there is more to it. Enaz has made a digital communication between him and the Watcher." Pixal explained. "Zane intercepted and recorded the call in his last moments of consciousness." She explained before she continued the message.
"It's me, Watcher. The trap has been set." Enaz's voice spoke up, which threw the others off.
"Trap?" Demir said nervously. "What does he mean by that?"
"Huh. Classic bad guy stuff." Kai shrugged off. "It must be in their DNA."
"Wait a minute, guys." Lydie spoke up. "If Enaz sent a message, maybe we can locate where the Watcher is." She stated.
"Yeah, you're right." Nya said in agreement before turning to the monitor. "Pixal, can you triangulate the point of origin?" She asked.
"I've already started the trace program." Pixal explained as a map of Ninjago was shown to reveal the trace program bouncing off many places of Ninjago.
"That's great, Pixal." Lloyd said to her. "How long can it take?"
"I don't know," Pixal said as she showed her trace program a bit blurry. "The storm is interfering with my terrace program. If we descended to a lower altitude, it might help." She suggested.
"The storm is hiding us." Harumi spoke up in surprise. "That's an issue. If we drop below, we might get a fix on this Watcher and his location, but if we drop below, the Sons of Garmadon will track us."
"She has a point." Rose commented.
"And if memory serves, Zane is in no condition if we're caught in a battle." Cole added while gesturing to the still offline Nindroid.
"They're right." Lloyd said in agreement. "We're in a pretty bad shape at the moment. "
"Yeah, we have to stay in the storm for now. Can't risk being spotted." Lydie added.
"So, where do we go?" Jay asked before Seliel and Skylor rushed in with wide smiles.
"We go here!" Seliel and Skylor said as they both showed the baby's blanket, which happened to reveal a map written on it with an x on a certain spot as the group looked at it in surprise.
"What is this?" Nya asked in surprise.
"All this time, this was with the baby." Seliel said with a smile.
"The map to the last Oni mask." Skylor finished while gesturing to the words on the side and an x marked on the map.
A bit later, the Bounty was still flying through the storm while the group in the dining room, having just finished dinner while looking at the map as Jay tried to get his last meatball with his fork, which kept moving around because the ship kept tilting.
"I don't get it." Kai said in confusion. "Why was the baby wrapped in a map?"
"Not sure." Morro said while holding the baby in his arms, wrapped in another blanket while the one he had is now being used. "Maybe they didn't have any diapers either."
Lydie looked closely at the map before she noticed something, "Wait a minute, I know this handwriting," She said in realization.
Lloyd looked closely as he recognized it as well. "Yeah, same here. This is our mother's handwriting." He said, knowing the handwriting on the map anywhere.
"Wait, then, would that mean?" Demir started as he looked at the baby with a brow.
"This little guy's Misako's?" Morro asked in surprise.
"I think me and Lloyd would know if mom had another kid." Lydie told him.
"And last we checked, Mom's not seeing other guys after what happened to dad." Lloyd added.
"Come on, she would've moved on and-" Nya tried to say before she noticed the brows the Garma-Twins are giving her, making her realize something between her and Jay. "Good point." She said sheepishly.
"In any case. This part here could be the central part of Ninjago." Harumi said while gesturing to the map.
"And the X. It could be the Oni mask." Skylor added. "You think it could be hidden there?"
The Garma-Twins looked at the map's landmark as they knew what it was as they looked at each other. "Primeval's Eye." They both said in unison as the group turned to the Garma-Twins in confusion.
"Our mother used to tell us about this place." Lloyd started. "It's an uncharted, vast wilderness of death."
"Her friend, an archeologist, I think his name was Dr. Yost, he had gone in to map the area." Lydie added as she looked at the map. "But he never returned."
"I hate to say, but that sounds like the perfect place to hide a very powerful and dangerous artifact," Rose stated as Jay was trying to get his Meatball but it kept rolling away.
"Ha, come here you little sucker!" Jay said, jabbing his fork at the meatball but kept missing until the meatball neared Kai's hand and when Jay jabbed down…

Kai yelled in pain while the others gasped in shock, some covering their eyes or turning away, "Ooohhh," Morro cringed while shielding the baby's eyes
"Kai, are you okay?!" Skylor asked her boyfriend in concern.
Jay soon realized what he did and gasped in horror, "Oh, I'm sorry!" He quickly said while looking at the fork in Kai's hand. "I didn't mean to-"
"Don't!" Kai cut Jay off and gave him an angry look. "Just, don't." He muttered.
With Zane, he is still offline while Pixal kept his scanning before his broken chest area opened up and a robotic spider came out and crawled around the room before crawling up to some wires as the monitor began to frizz.
Back in the dining room, the group didn't see the console behind them frizzing out as Nya then noticed Morro giving the baby something from a cup. "What are you feeding him?" Nya questioned as Morro turned to her.
"Tea." Morro said while showing the cup to Nya while the baby babbled.
"Tea?!" Nya questioned in disbelief, "You can't just give a baby tea!" She scolded.
"Why not? He likes it." Morro said as he gave the baby more tea, which he accepted gratefully. "Besides, he won't drink anything else. I have to try something."
"Hah! Gotcha!" Jay cheered as he successfully jabbed his fork to his meatball, having gotten the fork off Kai as the fire Ninja gave nervous looks. "Who's laughing now, meatball?"
Just then, the ship shook, causing the group to tumble and fell to the ground as the lights went out. "What happened to the lights?" Kai asked.
"The Storm must've knocked out the power." Lydie guessed.
"I doubt the storm did this." Lloyd said seriously. "Get to the bridge! Quick!" He urged as they all rushed out to the bridge while Harumi ran back and quickly took the map with them.
The group then entered the room Zane was in. "Pixal? What's happening?" Lydie asked as the monitors were out. "Pixal! Come in! Are you there?!" She asked again desperately, but Pixal wasn't responding.
"This might really be a power failure." Demir said to them.
"Or it's a trap." Jay spoke up.
"Freaking out isn't going to help us." Cole said to them.
"Jay might be right." Nya spoke up. "The backup generators would have kicked in. This is something else." She said in worry.
"But what?" Rose asked before the monitors turned on as the alarm went off.
"Emergency. Emergency." Pixal said in a desperate tone.
"What happened, Pixal?" Lydie asked. "What's wrong?"
"I'm detecting a foreign presence has been introduced into my system." Pixal explained, which worried the others.
"Foreign?" Skylor asked. "What are you talking about, Pix?"
"It seems we are being tracked. I have lost control of the ship." Pixal explained, showing them a diagram of the Bounty.
"A virus." Lydie realized.
"But how did something like a virus get in?" Jay questioned before Seliel noticed Zane's chest was opened as the others followed.
"The trap. Something was planted inside Zane when he was damaged!" Seliel realized. "They wanted us to take him in!"
"Proximity alarm." Pixal spoke up as they turned to her on the monitor. "Something is approaching the Bounty, fast."
"On screen," Lydie instructed.
"It is, Samurai X," Pixal revealed with a regretful tone as an image of the Samurai X suit appeared on screen.
"Oh good, he must be here to help us out." Demir smiled.
"I'm afraid that is… unlikely," Pixal told him.
"Why's that?" Lloyd asked confusedly.
"Because my systems, is overrun." Pixal explained as she started to break up.
"You're not making heads or tails, Pixal, what are you trying to tell us?" Morro asked, slamming a fist down on Zane's bed.
"I, didn't want it to be like this but, it would seem it is time I made a minor confession," Pixal said as she zoomed in on Samurai X's head and slowly removed the helmet to reveal… her face. "I am… Samurai… X." She revealed as her voice became distorting before she faded.
The group looked at the image as they looked in shock at what Pixal just revealed. "What?!" Cole exclaimed, breaking silence.
"Excuse me?!" Rose asked.
"No way!" Demir exclaimed in disbelief.
"Say wha?" Morro muttered.
"Holy cow." Skylor commented.
"Didn't see that coming," Seliel added.
"Pixal is Samurai X?" Lydie said in surprise before thinking about it. "You know that makes a lot of sense."
"Are you serious?!" Kai questioned.
"How is that possible?!" Nya questioned.
"How can you be Samurai X?!" Lloyd questioned Pixal even though she is offline..
"Totally called it!" Jay cheered with a smile.
"You did not!" Cole countered.
"Did too!" Jay complained before they heard blaster fire as they turned and saw a blaster shoot the right thrusters of the Bounty as the ship shook as the thruster went offline.
"We can figure this out later!" Nya called out as she saw the diagram of the bounty and saw the target on the second thruster. "The mech is targeting the second aft thruster." She then turns to the Garma-Twins. "Captain, Lloyd. If we lose the second…"
"We know." Lloyd spoke up.
"We'll drop out of the sky like a rock." Lydie added as she turned to Nya. "Nya, tried to find the foreign agent. Jay, keep that lightning off our back. The rest of us, get ready to fight." She instructed with a serious look as the group rushed off while Nya remained behind.
Morro ran into the barracks and gently placed the baby in the rocking bed. "Stay safe here, little guy. I'll be back." He said as he rushed off and joined the others as they went on deck as the rain poured down while looking up at the sky before they saw the mech.
"Everyone! Be on alert!" Lydie said as the Ninja drew their weapons, as did Skylor and Seliel as thunder clashed around them.
"That lighting is getting way too close for comfort." Skylor commented.
"Jay, Skylor, try to hold them off." Lloyd said.
"Got it!" Jay nodded.
"Sure. Just give me a sec." Skylor said as she touched Jay's shoulder, copying his powers as she and Jay stepped forward and then caught a lightning strike and redirected it away from them as they groaned a bit from that.
"You're welcome!" Jay said with a slight tired smile.
Then, the mech flew in and started blasting at them as the shot hit the sails and the ship shook a bit. "There!" Cole shouted while seeing the mech flying close.
"Can't see anything in this storm!" Lydie shouted.
"Time to light this place up!" Kai called as he summoned a fireball and shot it up as it lit up the area as everyone looked around as the fire began to dissipate from the rain.
"Dude, we're in a rain storm," Morro said dully. "Fire and water don't mix."
"It wasn't supposed to. Just long enough to see for Pixal." Kai said to him.
"Rumi, stand back and take this." Lloyd said as he pulled out a spare sword for Harumi. "You wanted to join the action, now's your chance."
"R-Really?" Harumi asked in surprise as Lloyd nodded with a smile as she returned it and accepted the sword.
"There!" Lydie called as he pointed up and saw the mech flying around as it got close to them as the Ninja stood ready and charged up their powers to attack.
In the Control Room, Nya was searching around for the foreign agent before she heard clanking sounds as she turned to the wire wall and inspected it before the robot spider crawled from the ceiling and onto the monitor before shutting it off, causing Nya to flinch as she slowly walked towards it.
Nya tapped the monitor to try and get it working, but then the spider bot crawled on Zane's leg, making Nya turn and she screamed when she saw it as it lounged at her.
Back outside, the Ninja are still fighting the controlled Samurai before Lydie manages to get a hit, causing her to groan a bit before she lands on the Bounty and draws her big sword as Lydie turns to the left thruster. "Don't let her get the thruster!" Lydie shouted to the others.
The grounded charged at the controlled Samurai, but she wacked them away and blocked Kai's strike before tossing him over the edge as he grabbed onto the edge before tossing Cole away as the controlled Samurai walked up to the Garma-Twins and fought them as the two avoided her strikes before manage to whack Lydie away and nearly strike Lloyd as he manage to climb up the sword and onto the mech as he slashed his sword on her.
But the controlled Samurai whacked Lloyd off her as he fell to the floor and lost his sword as the Samurai was about to strike him, but a sword blocked his attack as Lloyd looked surprised before turning to see Harumi was the one who blocked it as the two gave a smile.
But then, the controlled Samurai grabbed Harumi as she gasped. "Lloyd!" She cried out as she was pulled up and the controlled Samurai jumped over.
"Harumi!" Lloyd shouted as he reached out to her before he gave a serious look as he grabbed his sword and rushed to the other edge of the Bounty as they looked in shock as Lloyd jumped off the Bounty before he managed to land on the mech as they flew around.
The others looked in shock at what Lloyd just pulled. "Whoa!" Demir exclaimed.
"He did not just-" Jay started.
"He just did." Kai said in shock.
"You four would've done the same, if it was Nya, Seliel, Skylor or Rose in there." Morro told them.
"He gotcha there boys." Rose said with a smirk.
"Oh yeah, what about you, Morro?" Lydie questioned with a smirk. "Would you do the same if it was me?"
"While cuffed in Vengestone," Morro bragged with a smirk.
In the sky, Lloyd and Harumi were on the mech as Lloyd managed to climb up to the cockpit. "Pixal! You have to stop this!" Lloyd urged, hoping to get through to Pixal.
"There is no Pixal. Only the Watcher." The samurai said in her disguise voice, as Lloyd saw she was still being controlled.
"Sorry about this!" Lloyd called as he slashed the mech with his sword. "But you're not exactly in the right frame of mind!" He called as he stabbed the mech through, causing it to short circuit as Harumi gave a yelp.
The controlled samurai saw that her mech was about to fail as she quickly ejected out and launched right up to the Bounty. "I did not think that through." Lloyd muttered, cursing himself before the mech began to fall out of the sky as Lloyd and Harumi screamed.
The controlled samurai launched up before landing on deck behind the Ninja with a flip through one of the holes in the sails as she turned to the Ninja and drew her sword while in a ready stance. "Argh! You're supposed to be our friend!" Jay exclaimed as the group gave yells and charged at the controlled Pixal.
Lloyd and Harumi kept falling as Harumi crawled up to Harumi, who was looking around anxiously. "We're… We're… We're gonna-" She started off.
"Look at me!" Lloyd called out as Harumi looked at him. "We're gonna get out of this! You hear me?!" He questioned as Harumi nodded as Lloyd got her free from the mech's hand as he caught her before she fell off as the two kept falling.
"The map!" Harumi called as she pulled out the map she still had. "Maybe we can use it to parachute down!"
"What is this?! A cartoon or a story book?!" Lloyd questioned her in disbelief. "That's never gonna work!" He called as they kept falling as Harumi gave a scream before Lloyd had a thought as he grabbed Harumi's arm and opened up the hatch and put her in as Harumi gave a surprise yelp. "The suit should break your fall!" He called as he closed the hatch.
"But Lloyd, what about you?!" Harumi cried out.
"Sorry! Only room for one!" Lloyd stated.
"No! I need you!" Harumi cried out.
"And I need that map!" Lloyd called as he grabbed the map as the two looked at each other with frowns before Lloyd let go as the mech fell further as Harumi screamed as Lloyd gave a sheepish look. "I didn't think this through either." He muttered as he actually used the map as a parachute.
Harumi kept screaming before she fell into a jungle below as the mech tumbled about onto the ground before landing on its back as Harumi groaned as the hatch opened for her. "Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick," Harumi moaned while covering her mouth as Lloyd gave a yell as he fell through the trees, hitting some branches before he fell to the ground as he groaned as the map fell down next to him.
Back on the Bounty in the control room, Nya was fighting the spider bot as it was on her. "Get off! Get off me! Get off!" Nya exclaimed as she hit the spider a bit as she grabbed hold of it as it had a strong grip as it gave a shriek and tried to latch onto her face as Nya tried to keep it away from her.
But then, a sai spear was thrown, striking the spider bot onto the wall as it shorted out as Nya looked surprised before she turned to Zane, who was back online. "What in the name of Ninjago is happening around here?" Zane asked in confusion.
Nya panted as she gave a relieved smile as she took a breath, glad that Zane woke up at the right time as she turned to the monitor. "Pixal?" she asked as Zane gave a confused look and turned to the monitor. "You kinda missed a lot." She said to Zane.
"Foreign agent has been purged from my system." Pixal spoke up, now back online as well. "Commencing system reboot in 30 seconds."
On deck, the rest of the Ninja are still fighting off the controlled Samurai before they manage to push her back as she falls to the floor as the controlled Samurai looks at the left thruster and she stands up and picks up the sword.
"Drop your sword!" Lydie shouted to the controlled Samurai.
"I shall comply." The controlled Samurai said naturally before throwing the sword away as everyone looked in horror.
"Reboot complete. System online." Pixal said as she now regained control of all her systems.
Back outside, the Samurai's helmet's visor was removed to reveal PIxal's green eyes, now having her body back under control as they all looked in horror as Pixal's sword hit the left thruster, shorting it out as the Zane and Nya came out as they yell as the Bounty shook before starting to fall from the sky.
"Pixal's sword hit the last thruster!" Lydie shouted. "We're going down!"
"Any ideas?!" Kai asked out.
"Not one." Zane answered.
"Yeah, me neither." Kai said in fear.
"Pray to Wojira!" Jay cried out.
"That is not helpful!" Nya called out to her boyfriend.
"Perhaps if Morro can create enough drag with the sails, we may be able to achieve a controlled crash." Zane suggested.
But then Morro remembered, "Kid!" He gasped and rushed below deck.
"Or, perhaps not." Zane muttered.
"Even if Morro could help, there's no sails for proper controls!" Demir shouted while gesturing to the destroyed sails that had holes in them from Pixal's shooting. "Pixal's mech shot them through!"
"Well, unless someone thinks of something, we're gonna go down with the ship!" Seliel exclaimed as the Ninja looked around before they noticed the rain still pouring.
"The rain! We could use the rain to slow our descent!" Rose exclaimed to them.
"It's worth a try." Nya said as she turned to Skylor. "Skylor, I could use some help though."
"Already on it." Skylor said as she and Nya went to the tip of the ship as Skylor quickly touched Nya, copying her powers as the two girls got onto the two dragon heads. "Okay, let's do this!"
Nya and Skylor then tried to focus their powers on the rain, but struggled a bit before they turned and saw the others giving pleading looks as the two girls looked at each other before they nodded with determination before they closed their eyes and focused harder as they gave a yell and raised their arms up.
Soon, some rain was forming around under the Bounty, stabilizing it as it slowed their descent down as everyone onboard gave a smile. "It's working!" Jay cheered before they looked at the jungle below them.
"Ah! Brace for impact!" Lydie shouted as everyone braced themselves while Skylor and Nya focused their powers to try and keep them stable.
The baby cried as Morro made it to the barracks and grabbed hold of him as he held him tight as they braced for impact.
Soon, the Bounty crashed through the jungle as everyone onboard yelled as the ship skidded across the jungle while the others were flung around as Skylor and Nya were tossed aboard as the Bounty finally came to a stop as everyone groaned from the hard landing as they gave a small laugh.
Kai and Jay walked up to Skylor and Nya and helped their respective girlfriends up as Lydie got up and rubbed her head. "Is everyone okay?" Lydie asked the others.
The others all moaned in response as they got their bearings. "We'll, we're alive." Seliel muttered. "So that's something."
Then Morro walked out with the baby in his arms. "You okay too, little guy?" He asked as the baby gave a smile in response.
Zane got up and dusted some sand off. "Zane." Pixal's voice spoke up, making Zane turn and smiled as he saw his girlfriend. Who removed her helmet to reveal her full face, just like how she was before Chen's men dismantled her and destroyed her original body.
Zane smiled in joy. "All this time, it was you." He said in joy. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Pixal looked down a bit before she answered. "I had to keep my identity a secret to protect those I cared about." She answered.
"You don't have to lie to me." Zane assured her with a knowing smile. "You didn't like being stuck in my head."
Pixal gave a sheepish smile, "There was that too." She admitted.
"From now on, no more secrets." Zane said as Pixal nodded as the Nindroids shared a long awaited physical hug, glad to finally hug each other again in physical contact.
Lydie looked around with a concerned look. "What about Lloyd and Harumi?" She asked as the others looked around in concern, knowing that the two fell down somewhere in the jungle.
At the crashed mech site, the mech gave off smokes as Harumi picked up the map and used it to wrap around Lloyd's arm as a sling as Lloyd cringed. "Ow!" He muttered before Harumi finished.
"There. That should help." Harumi said as she placed the map on Lloyd while leaving out the directions they might need to navigate as the two gave small smiles before Lloyd and Harumi looked around.
"I think we're on our own." Lloyd said in worry as the two were lost in the middle of the jungle.
"But look on the bright side, at least we have each other." Harumi said with a smile which Lloyd returned as the two stood up and continued their journey.
They may be lost in the middle of the jungle and might not know where the others are, but they still have the map and a way to the last Oni Mask while they didn't notice smoke billowing from the crashed Bounty from above the trees.
