At 1700 hours, Captain Martz's made her final announcement before the battle. The entire Prosecutor went silent as her hallowed words echoed through every deck and chamber.

"Attention all company and crew.

As you all know, the Separatists will soon be arriving. They will not stop until they destroy our ship, our home, and everything that we stand for. I'm aware that tensions have been running high lately. Emotions have been understandably more heightened than normal. Some of us have been acting in surprising and unexpected ways.

We all have our differences. Who we are, what we believe in, why we are fighting. But I want to remind you all that we are all fighting for the same great cause. And no matter what happens tonight, however we've started and wherever we end up, I want you to remember one thing. Those fighting along your side are and always will be your sisters, and your brothers.

Boss looked out from his balcony vantage point to observe the defenders of Hanger A. The courageous troopers ready to defend the ship, Delta 42 along with the other ace pilots ready to fly out and destroy the Separatists, the heroic GRA healer Midec ready to lay his life down for the cause. After Martz had finished her announcement, Boss felt a sense of pride in his Republic and all those who fought and killed and died for its cause... he also felt a sense of painful regret having forgotten to eat dinner after breaking up Delta Squads big fight.

Before Boss could process these feelings, he saw the unmistakable sight of a single Separatist battleship exiting lightspeed. The enemy loomed over the Prosecutor, easily dwarfing it in both size and power. He looked over at Midec who remained silent and stared stoically into space. Boss wondered if he was also thinking about his squad members. Chief Sen'luh with Fixer in hanger D, Hunter Vesso alongside Sev in hanger C and poor Scorch and Tabura stuck with Dy'hag in hanger B.

Hanger A lurched and shook as the Republic ship attempted to avoid the battleship's devastating turbo lasers. Boss heard the hanger occupants gave a great big cheer when they saw the Prosecutor launch a volley of torpedoes which all connected to various parts of the battleship.

Boss noticed the 3 Red Squadron pilots receive orders over comms before rapidly firing up their ARC-170 starfighters and leaving the hanger. They were joined by the other 9 in their squadron before flying around the separatist ship, targeting it's shields and weaponry. Boss couldn't help but feel a twinge of pain when he saw 2 of the starfighters get destroyed almost immediately.

Suddenly, the Prosecutor was rocked by a missile which had struck the side of the hull! Captain Martz was forced to retreat to evade any further heavy weaponry, abandoning Red Squadron leading to 3 more deaths. The Republic assault ship proceeded to turn around and begin a full-frontal bombing run. As soon as it was directly over the battleship, it unleashed the full armament of turbolasers and torpedoes to overwhelm the enemy vessel.

Before it had any time to recover, The Y-wings in Blue Squadron began their own bombing run against the vital systems of the battleship whilst the damaged members of Red Squadron returned for repairs. The hanger occupants looked out into space. Through the delicate safety of the forcefield, they proudly observed both squadrons working alongside the Prosecutor to destroy the battleship's most powerful missile launcher!

As soon as it seemed the battle would be over, the battleship launched 2 starfighter squadrons accompanied by a Geonosian troop carrier and 4 battle droid dispensers, all of which went straight for the ship's hangers. Gold Squadron were immediately ordered to deploy. Delta 42 looked back in trepidation and gave Boss a quick salute before flying his V-19 interceptor out to defend the ship with the other pilots.

"Heads up Deltas, they're about to break through Hanger shields!" Delta Squad's advisor reported in their comms. Boss could see a droid dispenser at the entrance of the hanger escorted by 4 starfighters. Delta 42 led two other fighters to defend hanger A. Boss observed his ace pilot with pride, as he tricked one of the starfighters into firing onto another before all 3 republic pilots destroyed the remaining 3 enemies. Even with the impressive display, it was still too late. The dispenser had breached the forcefield. Boss prepared a detpack, the troopers took aim, and behind him he heard the iconic sound of a lightsaber activating.

"Switch it off or I will break your arm." Boss calmly said to the impertinent trooper without looking back. Behind him he heard the iconic sound of a lightsaber deactivating. In front of them the droid dispenser landed with a sickening thud and began to dispense battle droids.

"Open fire!" Boss ordered before the troopers laid down covering fire. Boss ran from the top balcony and made his way to the dispenser, keeping his head down to avoid everyone's blaster fire. He reached the dispenser where he attached and began priming a detpack as quickly as he could. Out the corner of his eye, he saw a B1 battle droid raise its blaster up to Boss's head before being taken down seconds before it could fire. At last, the detpack was primed. Boss rolled away, pressed the remote trigger and blew up the dispenser! Only one droid remained which was very quickly taken care of by the troopers.

The soldiers gave a cheer when they saw the hanger was clear once more.

Boss looked around the room, he found his victory too easy. Almost like it was planned. He checked in with the rest of his squad in the other hangers. Sev and Fixer reported a relative ease in resecuring the hanger.

"Vesso is acting very suspicious. It's like he knows something." Sev added.

"Focus on the enemy Oh-Seven." Said Fixer.

"I am."

Before Boss could reprimand his sniper, he heard the unmistakable sounds of a B2 Blaster Cannon through his comms before Scorch screamed "A Super Battle Droid dispenser has breached Hanger B defences and Recruit Dy'hag is down!"
