The tension in Jay and Moose's hotel room was palpable the next morning. Moose sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands, while the rest of the group—Veronica Lodge, Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Cheryl Blossom, Toni Topaz, Kevin Keller, Tabitha Tate, and Josie McCoy with Melody Thornton and Valerie Brown—gathered around, their expressions a mix of anger and worry. They were all shaken by the events of the previous night: Jay Halstead's kidnapping at the hands of Hailey Upton.

Veronica paced the room, her phone in hand, as she reread the chilling text from Hailey. "She's already kidnapped Jay," she said through gritted teeth. "Now she's saying she won't tell us where he is unless we do everything she says. I'm so done with her games."

"Done?" Cheryl Blossom exploded. "Oh, I'll show her done. Just give me five minutes with that woman, and she'll regret everything she's ever done."

Betty stepped in, trying to calm Cheryl. "We can't go off the rails. That's what she wants. We need to stick together and think this through."

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, Jay stirred awake, his wrists aching from the tight handcuffs binding him to a chair. His vision was blurry, but he quickly realized he was in some kind of dimly lit warehouse. A familiar voice pierced the silence.

"Good morning, Jay," Hailey said with a smirk, leaning against a metal table a few feet away. "Welcome to my little home away from home."

Jay glared at her, his voice steady despite the fear bubbling beneath. "You won't get away with this."

Hailey laughed. "Oh, Jay, I already have. Do you know how long I've been planning this? Prison gives you a lot of time to think."

"Whatever your plan is, it won't work," Jay snapped. "You're going back to prison, and this time, you'll rot there."

Hailey tilted her head, her smirk widening. "We'll see about that. For now, I think it's time your little friends got an update." She picked up her phone, recording a video. "Smile, Jay. Let's make this memorable."

Back in the hotel room, everyone's phones buzzed simultaneously. The group crowded around as Veronica opened the new message. It was a video from Hailey.

"Hello, everyone," Hailey's voice rang out, her expression smug as she turned the camera to show a restrained Jay. "I've got your friend. If you want him back, you'll do exactly as I say. Tick-tock."

Moose's face went pale as he stood, his voice trembling. "She has him. She's really got him."

Veronica slammed her phone onto the table, her fists clenched. "We're ending this. Hailey doesn't get to win. Not before the wedding."

Betty, her voice steady but resolute, spoke up. "This is it. Confronting Hailey—it's our endgame."

Jughead glanced at her. "Endgame?"

Betty nodded. "Everything we've been through, everything she's done, it's led to this moment. If we don't stop her now, it'll never end."

Veronica crossed her arms. "She's right. Hailey has to be taken down, once and for all."

Archie, sitting near Moose, looked over. "Moose isn't handling this well. He's drinking already, and the rehearsal dinner is tomorrow night."

Moose shot him a glare. "Don't tell me how to cope, Archie. The man I'm about to marry has been kidnapped."

Before anyone could respond, Cheryl's phone buzzed. It was a text from Josie McCoy: We're in the lobby. What's going on? Cheryl quickly replied, telling Josie to come up.

Three minutes later, Josie, Melody, and Valerie arrived, their expressions concerned. Josie immediately addressed Veronica. "What the hell is going on?"

Veronica filled them in, her voice tight with anger. Josie's face darkened as she absorbed the news. "So, Hailey's back. Great."

Melody and Valerie exchanged shocked glances as Jughead explained the details. "She's already sent videos, threatened us, and now she's playing her sick little game with Jay's life as leverage."

The conversation was interrupted by another text from Hailey. This time, it was a picture of a torturing device with the message: "Clock's ticking. I've already started. Your move."

Moose's hands trembled as he read the message. He immediately texted Hailey: "Stop hurting him. Please."

Her response came quickly: "I already have. But don't worry—it's 'painless.' For now."

Moose let out a shaky breath, tears welling in his eyes. Veronica stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We'll get him back. I promise."

Josie spoke up. "What's the plan?"

"We're figuring that out," Betty replied, her voice calm but firm. "But first, we need to stay ahead of Hailey."

As the group debated their next move, Veronica's phone buzzed again. This time, it was Reggie Mantle.

Reggie: I got a text from Hailey too. She's sending pictures of some device. Meet me in the lobby—ASAP.

Veronica nodded to the group. "I'm going to talk to Reggie. Stay here and come up with a plan."

When Veronica returned from meeting Reggie, she carried more bad news: "Hailey's leaving clues now. She wants us to play her twisted game."

The first clue came shortly after: "The clock is ticking, and your first stop is where Jay once called home. Find the second clue there."

Betty read the message aloud, her brows furrowing. "She's sending us to Chicago P.D."

Veronica folded her arms. "Fine. We'll play her game, but we'll win."

The group prepared to leave, their resolve solidifying. They would save Jay and ensure that Hailey's reign of terror ended once and for all.
