The sunlight streamed into the plush hotel room where Jay Halstead-Mason and Moose Mason lay tangled together, basking in the first morning of their married life. Moose stirred first, turning to Jay with a sleepy smile.
"Good morning, Mr. Halstead-Mason," Moose murmured, his voice deep and affectionate.
Jay chuckled, brushing Moose's hair back from his forehead. "Good morning, Mr. Mason."
Moose smirked, leaning closer. "Are we really starting this marriage with last names?"
Jay grinned, teasingly pressing a finger to Moose's lips. "It's romantic. Besides, I like the way it sounds."
They shared a tender kiss, their smiles never fading.
Post-Wedding Banter
As they lay in bed, Jay sighed contentedly. "Last night was... perfect. Well, almost."
Moose raised an eyebrow. "Almost? Are we talking about Natalie Manning?"
Jay groaned dramatically. "Why does she always have to steal the spotlight?"
Moose laughed, rolling onto his side to face Jay. "Well, she didn't win. You and I did."
Jay nodded. "True. And, to be fair, Toni punching her was a highlight. Cheryl's spaghetti stunt wasn't bad, either."
Moose laughed so hard his shoulders shook, and Jay leaned in to kiss him again.
Jughead's Breakfast Adventure
Meanwhile, down the hall, Jughead Jones left his hotel room, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes. His hunger guided him straight to the lobby breakfast area, where he loaded his plate with bacon, eggs, and sausages.
"Jug, seriously?" Archie Andrews called from a nearby table, where he sat with Reggie Mantle, sipping coffee. "You already ate half the wedding buffet last night."
Jughead shrugged, balancing his overfilled plate. "That was last night. This is now. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."
Reggie snorted. "Bro, that plate looks like a crime scene. Leave some for the rest of us."
Unfazed, Jughead sat down with his feast. "Don't food-shame me, guys. I need the energy to process everything that happened last night."
Archie leaned back, smirking. "Fine, but don't say we didn't warn you when you can't move later."
Toni Talks to the Police
Outside the hotel, Toni Topaz stood in the crisp morning air, her phone pressed to her ear as she spoke with the local police.
"We need to report Natalie Manning's behavior," she said firmly. "She bullied several of us last night, started fights, and was completely inappropriate at Jay and Moose's wedding."
The officer on the other end took notes. "Understood, Ms. Topaz. Do you have any witnesses?"
Toni nodded, though no one could see her. "Plenty. Cheryl Blossom, Veronica Lodge, Archie Andrews, Josie McCoy, and myself were all targeted."
The officer hesitated. "And do you believe Ms. Manning poses a threat to anyone in your group?"
Toni sighed. "I don't think she's dangerous. Just petty and vindictive. But if she doesn't face consequences, she'll keep doing this."
After a pause, the officer responded, "Understood. We'll review the incident and determine the next steps."
As the call ended, Toni looked thoughtful. Natalie might not be an immediate danger, but something about last night didn't sit right with her.
Back to the Gang
As the gang gathered at the hotel breakfast area, they exchanged updates.
Toni rejoined the group, her expression resolute. "I reported Natalie to the police. They're looking into her behavior."
Cheryl Blossom, sitting with a mimosa in hand, flipped her hair. "Good. Let them deal with her. I, for one, am done with her drama."
Betty Cooper nodded. "I think we all are. Last night was supposed to be about Jay and Moose."
Kevin Keller, nibbling on a croissant, grinned. "Well, drama aside, it was a gorgeous wedding."
Veronica Lodge sighed dreamily. "It really was. Moose and Jay are perfect together."
Just then, Jay and Moose walked into the breakfast area, hand in hand. The group erupted into cheers, congratulating the newlyweds once again.
Jay smiled, holding Moose's hand tightly. "Thanks, guys. Last night wouldn't have been the same without all of you."
Moose added, "Even with the chaos, it was perfect."
As the gang toasted with their coffee cups, mimosas, and orange juice, the bond between them felt stronger than ever—a family united not by blood, but by love, loyalty, and shared experiences. And as Jay and Moose looked around the table at their chosen family, they knew their married life was off to an incredible start.
