Jay Halstead-Mason and Moose Mason stepped through the door of their shared apartment in Riverdale, their hands still entwined. They looked around the cozy living room, decorated with framed pictures of their wedding, houseplants Moose adored, and the little knick-knacks Jay had collected over the years. A soft smile played on both their lips as they stood in the middle of the room.
"I still can't believe it," Jay said, pulling Moose closer. "We're finally married."
"Me neither," Moose replied, resting his forehead against Jay's. "It's like a dream. And to think it all started with Cheryl's ridiculous Key Party."
They laughed softly, sharing a kiss. Jay pulled away slightly, his expression thoughtful. "But… there's one thing. What about your apartment across the hall? Are you ready to move in for good?"
Moose grinned. "Absolutely. Tomorrow, we'll start moving my stuff over. I've already been spending most of my time here anyway."
"Good," Jay said, kissing him again. "I want you here, always."
Meanwhile, across town, Veronica Lodge opened the door to her luxurious apartment and stepped inside, her heels clicking on the hardwood floor. She dropped her designer bag on the couch and took a deep breath.
"Home sweet home," she said with a grin, surveying her chic living space. "Riverdale, you're still a mess, but I missed you."
She grabbed her phone and texted the gang, letting them know she was back. She had a feeling the adventures in Riverdale were far from over.
Two Years Later
It was Christmas Eve in Riverdale, and Jay and Moose's apartment was filled with the warm glow of holiday lights and the sound of laughter. Their newborn son, Kit Halstead-Mason, was swaddled in a soft blanket and resting peacefully in Moose's arms. Around the room, their family and closest friends were gathered to celebrate.
The gang was all there: Veronica, Jughead, Archie, Betty, Cheryl, Toni, Tabitha, Kevin, Josie, Melody, Valerie, and Reggie. Moose's dad, Marcus Mason, sat by the fireplace, chatting with Hermione Lodge, who had brought a bottle of her finest wine for the occasion.
"Look at him," Moose said softly, staring down at Kit with adoration. "Our little Christmas miracle."
Jay leaned over and kissed Moose's cheek. "He's perfect. And he's got your eyes."
"Poor kid," Moose joked, earning a laugh from Jay.
After dinner, everyone gathered around the Christmas tree, which was adorned with ornaments representing their shared memories. Cheryl handed out wrapping paper while Betty passed presents around. Toni held a mug of hot cocoa, sneaking marshmallows to Kit when Moose wasn't looking.
As the last present was wrapped, Josie, Melody, and Valerie stood by the piano. They began singing Christmas classics, their voices harmonizing beautifully. The room fell silent, their music filling the air like magic.
Jay leaned over and kissed Moose, whispering, "This is everything I've ever wanted."
Moose smiled, his eyes shining with happiness. "Merry Christmas, Mr. Halstead-Mason."
"Merry Christmas, Mr. Mason," Jay replied, his heart full.
As the gang joined in singing, the warmth of love and friendship radiated through the apartment. It was a Christmas to remember, a celebration of family, love, and the joy of being together.
