Jay Halstead-Mason and Moose Mason sat cross-legged on the floor of their cozy Riverdale apartment, surrounded by photos, glittering stickers, and colorful markers. Sweet laughter echoed through the room as Kit, now six, played with his little sister Sweetie, who had just turned two. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and Jay and Moose had decided to spend it crafting a collage that would encapsulate their whirlwind love story and the life they'd built together.

Jay reached for a photo of them on their honeymoon in Santorini, both of them grinning with the iconic blue-domed churches behind them. "This one has to go in the center. It's one of my favorites."

Moose chuckled, running his fingers through his hair as he picked up another picture—this one from Cheryl's infamous Key Party. "And this one. The night we met. Who would've thought you'd pick my key and that it'd lead to all this?"

Jay smirked and leaned closer. "I mean, you did have the best key there."

Moose playfully nudged Jay, his grin widening. "So, who's the cool dad, and who's the strict dad now that we've got Kit and Sweetie?"

Jay pretended to think about it, tapping his chin. "Oh, I'm definitely the strict dad. You're the one who lets Kit sneak cookies before dinner."

Moose laughed, pointing at Jay. "And you're the one who pretends not to notice when Sweetie draws on the walls."

Jay rolled his eyes. "It's called picking your battles, babe."

They both burst into laughter, leaning against each other as Moose placed a photo of their wedding at the Field Museum on the collage. The picture showed them standing at the altar, surrounded by friends and family, glowing with love. "Remember how Cheryl gave that speech about herself before circling back to us?"

Jay snorted. "How could I forget? Or how Josie called her out right after. Classic Cheryl."

Moose reached for a marker and wrote "The Best Day Ever" in bold letters beneath the wedding photo. "And then there's this one," he said, holding up a picture of them at La Bonne Nuit, the night they had distracted Hailey Upton with Josie and the Pussycats' performance.

Jay shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips. "What a wild night. If it weren't for Veronica's quick thinking and Toni's Southside Serpents backup, who knows what could've happened."

Moose pressed the photo onto the collage. "We should send this to Veronica. She'd love the nostalgia."

They continued adding more moments to the collage: a picture of their date at the Italian restaurant where they'd first talked about their future; a snapshot from their honeymoon in Santorini, where they had danced on the beach under the stars; and candid photos of their family moments with Kit and Sweetie.

When the collage was finally complete, they sat back to admire their work. It was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and shared memories.

Moose wrapped his arm around Jay, his voice soft. "Look at this. Every picture tells a story. It's us."

Jay turned to him, his eyes shining. "It's everything I ever wanted and more."

Their gazes met, and Moose leaned in, capturing Jay's lips in a tender kiss. It deepened, full of love and gratitude for the life they had built together. As they pulled apart, their foreheads touched, and Moose whispered, "I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat."

"Me too," Jay replied, his voice steady and full of emotion.

Kit ran into the room with Sweetie toddling behind him. "Daddies, what's that?"

Moose scooped him up while Jay lifted Sweetie into his arms. "This, Kit, is a collage of all the best moments in our lives."

Kit's eyes widened. "All of them?"

Moose kissed his forehead. "Well, maybe not all, but definitely the most special."

Sweetie babbled something unintelligible, and Jay chuckled. "And you two are the best part of it all."

As the family sat together, surrounded by photos and memories, Moose and Jay shared a look that spoke volumes. Their journey had been far from easy, but every twist, turn, and moment had led them to this—a life full of love, laughter, and endless possibilities.
