The sun streamed through the bedroom window, casting a golden glow on Jay Halstead and Moose Mason as they cuddled under the warm covers. The peaceful morning silence was broken only by their soft breathing and the distant chirping of birds.

"Good morning," Jay murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to Moose's forehead.

"Good morning," Moose replied, his voice still heavy with sleep. He tightened his arms around Jay, drawing him closer. "You're too sexy to be in bed," Jay teased, a playful glint in his eye.

Moose laughed, a deep, warm sound that made Jay's heart flutter. "And you're too hot to handle," Moose shot back, making Jay blush. He leaned in and captured Jay's lips in a sweet kiss.

"So, what's the plan for tonight?" Moose asked, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Now that we've reconciled as husbands, how do we celebrate?"

Jay thought for a moment before grinning. "How about we throw a reconciliation party here at our house?"

Moose's eyes lit up. "That sounds perfect. But with a twist. Let's invite all our friends – Archie, Veronica, Betty, and everyone else – and surprise them with the news that we're back together."

Jay chuckled, loving the idea. "An awesome plan. They'll be thrilled."

Their moment was interrupted by the shrill ring of Jay's phone. He picked it up, seeing Hank Voight's name flashing on the screen. "It's Hank," Jay said, answering the call.

"Where the hell are you, Halstead?" Hank's gruff voice demanded.

"I'm back in Riverdale," Jay replied calmly.

Hank was silent for a moment, clearly shocked. "Riverdale? Get back to Chicago. We need you here."

Jay took a deep breath, his resolve firm. "Chicago is no longer my home, Hank. I quit."

He hung up, turning off his phone before Hank could respond. Moose looked at him with admiration and satisfaction. "That was incredible," he said in a sultry tone, his eyes dark with desire. "You stood up for us."

Jay smiled, feeling a rush of warmth at Moose's words. "I did it for us," he said, his voice full of love.

Moose leaned in, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. The world outside ceased to exist as they poured all their love and longing into each other. Their kiss deepened, filled with promises of a renewed future together.

Later that day, Jay and Moose busied themselves with preparations for the party. They sent out invites to all their friends, ensuring everyone knew to come to their house that evening. The anticipation of revealing their reconciliation made the hours fly by.

As evening approached, their home was filled with the delicious aroma of home-cooked meals and the soft hum of romantic music. The decorations were simple yet elegant, reflecting the love they shared.

One by one, their friends arrived, filling the house with laughter and chatter. Archie, Veronica, Betty, Jughead, Cheryl, Toni, Tabitha, Kevin, Josie, Melody, Valerie, and Reggie all gathered, curious about the surprise Jay and Moose had in store.

When everyone had settled, Jay and Moose stood before their friends, hands intertwined. "We have an announcement," Jay began, his voice strong and clear. "Moose and I have reconciled. We're back together as husbands."

The room erupted in cheers and applause, their friends rushing forward to congratulate them. Veronica hugged them tightly, tears of joy in her eyes. "I'm so happy for you both," she said, her voice choked with emotion.

Betty smiled, holding Moose's hand. "You two are meant to be together," she said softly.

As the night progressed, the party was filled with joy and celebration. Their friends shared stories, laughed, and danced, all thrilled to see Jay and Moose back where they belonged – in each other's arms.

During a quiet moment, Jay and Moose found themselves alone in the kitchen, watching their friends enjoy the night. "Thank you for today," Jay said, his voice full of love. "For everything."

Moose smiled, pulling Jay close. "Thank you for coming back to me," he replied, his eyes shining with tears.

They kissed again, their hearts full. The journey had been long and filled with challenges, but they had found their way back to each other. And as they stood there, surrounded by their friends and the love that had never truly faded, they knew they were ready to face whatever the future held – together.

As the night drew to a close, Jay and Moose stood at the door, saying goodbye to their friends. The last to leave was Cheryl, who hugged them both tightly. "You two give me hope," she said, smiling.

"Thank you, Cheryl," Moose said, his voice sincere.

When everyone had gone, they turned off the lights and made their way upstairs. In their bedroom, they undressed and slipped under the covers, holding each other close.

"Do you remember the lyrics?" Moose asked softly.

Jay smiled, pressing a kiss to Moose's forehead. "'We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January. And this is our place, we make the rules.'"

Moose's eyes filled with love as he continued. "'And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you, dear. Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?'"

They shared a tender kiss, their hearts beating as one. "I love you, Moose," Jay whispered.

"I love you too, Jay," Moose replied.

As they drifted off to sleep, their future lay ahead of them, bright and full of promise. Together, they had faced their past, and together, they would build their future. In each other's arms, they had found their home.
