It was the night of Backwoods High's very first Halloween Dance Party,

and the entire school was buzzing with excitement. The gym was decked out

with cheap cobwebs, fake skeletons, and orange and black streamers

hanging from the ceiling. A DJ in the corner blasted spooky tunes, and

students poured in dressed in their finest—and weirdest—costumes.

Matt Marinara and Jason Mustard entered the gym in full Halloween spirit.

Matt was dressed as a giant slice of pizza (naturally), and Jason had

gone all out as a mustard bottle. They immediately spotted Keith Lloyd,

decked out as an old school street gangster, leaning against the punch

bowl with a sneer. Amanda Kelly, wearing a sultry vampire costume,

strutted past the snack table, eyeing everyone like she owned the place.

Then there was Ryan Davis, who had decided to attend in the most

ridiculous costume imaginable—he was literally a locker. He had rigged a

cardboard box to open and close, hiding inside it, as usual. Tyler

Sanders, the "Laxative Ninja," showed up dressed as a clown, which felt

disturbingly appropriate. David Lewis, the "Film Class Nerd Psycho," had

his camera strapped to his shoulder and was dressed as some obscure movie

director from the 1970s, ready to catch any embarrassing moments on tape.

The night started off relatively normal—well, as normal as Backwoods High

could get. But, as always, chaos was just around the corner.

Unbeknownst to the partygoers, some mystery idiot had gotten their hands

on a bottle of whiskey and spiked the punch. Not only that, they'd also

swapped out the gummy bear candy bowl with THC gummy edibles.

The first signs of trouble started when Keith Lloyd, leaning coolly by

the punch bowl, poured himself a cup and chugged it down like it was

water. "This punch ain't bad," he muttered, pouring another.

Amanda, overhearing, decided to try a cup. "Ugh, it could use more

flavor," she said, taking a sip. But instead of stopping there, she

grabbed a handful of gummy bears and popped them in her mouth.

Matt and Jason, spotting the punch bowl, decided it was time to hydrate.

"Let's get some of that," Matt said, filling two cups.

As the clock ticked on, things got…strange.

Keith Lloyd, always the tough guy, suddenly became overly sentimental. He

approached Matt and Jason with glassy eyes, draping his arm over their

shoulders. "You guys are like...my brothers," he slurred, sloshing his

punch. "Like, we should start a band or something, y'know? Call it,

like...The Punch Brothers."

Matt, feeling a weird warmth in his chest, grinned back. "Yeah, man,

that's a great idea," he said, totally unaware that the punch was spiked.

He looked over at Jason, who was giggling uncontrollably.

"I feel like...I'm floating," Jason said, his eyes wide as he stared at

the ceiling. "Like, this gym is a giant pizza oven."

Meanwhile, Amanda Kelly, now feeling the effects of the THC gummies, had

climbed onto the snack table and started giving a dramatic monologue

about being a "bloodsucking queen" while waving around a pretzel like it

was a royal scepter. "Bow before me, peasants!" she declared, laughing

hysterically as she knocked over the bowl of chips.

Ryan Davis, ever the weirdo, had closed himself inside his locker costume

but started talking to random students passing by, claiming he was the

spirit of Hall C. "Beware the stink bomb of doom!" he whispered ominously

to anyone who would listen.

Tyler Sanders, however, took the cake. Feeling the effects of both the

punch and the edibles, he decided it was the perfect time to show off

some of his "ninja" moves. He started doing flips and cartwheels across

the dance floor, knocking into decorations and even sending a pumpkin

flying into the DJ booth.

But the real chaos hit when David Lewis, who had been sipping on punch

and chomping down gummies, realized he was documenting the whole night.

"This...this is my masterpiece," he mumbled to himself, swaying

unsteadily as he filmed. "This is going viral."

As the THC and alcohol took full effect, the dance floor turned into a

full-blown circus. People were dancing like zombies, others were laughing

uncontrollably at nothing, and a few were lying on the floor, staring at

the ceiling with goofy smiles.

Principal Smith, who had been overseeing the party from the corner,

quickly realized something was very wrong when he saw Amanda Kelly

dramatically tossing gummy bears into the air while shouting, "Fly, my

minions, fly!"

"What in the world—?" Smith muttered, rushing toward the punch table. One

sniff of the bowl, and he knew. "Oh, for the love of—WHO SPIKED THE

PUNCH?!"

As if on cue, Keith Lloyd stumbled toward him, holding a cup of punch.

"You, Smith, you're like...the dad I never had, man. We should get

matching tattoos or something."

Smith's eye twitched. "Everyone OUT! The party's OVER!"

The gym erupted into chaos as the students tried to make their way to the

exit, most of them stumbling, laughing, or tripping over each other.

Amanda had to be dragged off the snack table, still shouting about her

"vampire empire." Tyler Sanders attempted a backflip near the door and

crashed into a stack of folding chairs.

As the students filed out, Principal Smith pinched the bridge of his

nose, muttering something about how he should've gone into a different

line of work.

Matt and Jason, somehow still standing, shared a dazed look. "Dude...that

was the best Halloween party ever," Matt said, grinning like a fool.

Jason nodded, his eyes half-closed. "Totally...dude, I think I just saw a

ghost."

As they staggered out of the gym, the Halloween Dance Party would go down

in history—not just as a fun night, but as the wildest, most ridiculous,

and PSA-worthy disaster Backwoods High had ever seen.
