AshFan here. I'm gonna try to get back into working on my Helltaker fic, trying to re-upload the chapters one by one on Wattpad, while getting to work on the new chapter.
In the meantime, enjoy this chapter.
… Oh right. Mandatory thanks to Lord Ashwood the 24th… again… don't tell Tai.
Also, long chapter ahead… just saying.
(At the hotel parlor)
"What the fuck!?" Someone shouted from a show on TV. "You guys let my five-year-old get high!? He's allergic to pot!"
"How the fuck do you know your five-year-old's allergic to weed?"
"Cause I'm a cool mom."
"Ah-ah, there's only room for one of us!"
After that dialogue came a crashing noise as Ash winced a bit.
"That right there, best fucking part." Angel says.
"No worries! No worries! Momma to the rescue! I found an EpiPen!"
"NO! Mom, that's my heroine!"
"No, he's allergic to that too."
"I still don't get how this could be entertaining to someone." Ash says while still watching.
"FUCK OUTTA THE WAY! This kid needs CPR!"
"No! Stop, stop, stop! He also has brutal bone disease too."
The boy, his Pokemon, and the snake man cringed with each crunch of the bones he heard while Husk shook his head as Niffty giggled.
This morning, Ash decided to hang with the others at the parlor and maybe give one of this world's TV Shows another shot. So far, he regretted that decision as their taste in media was… interesting to say the least.
"Yeah, I wasn't expecting you to like this, kid." Husk says before leaning back. "Anyways, what's taking Princess so long this time?"
"The girls are busy getting ready. Now that my Arc Phone is working I'm planning to take them to my world for a little bit. Maybe just… a couple of days, I think." Ash explains before showing his phone. "It actually started working a few days ago, but I wanted to wait a bit in case it malfunctioned again."
"Right, so we're gonna have to watch this place again. Good to know." Husk says sarcastically.
"Ya know, you could come with me. It doesn't just have to be me and the girls."
"Nah, I think I'm good."
"You sure?"
"Ya got booes?"
"... No?"
"Then I'm good."
The boy didn't think anything of it, just chuckled, knowing what he was like while ignoring the show. He looked down at his phone, and then thought back to yesterday.
(Flashback)
"I-I'm sorry, what?" Charlie asked while sitting next to Ash.
"I just… ya know…" Ash says sheepishly. "I wanna introduce you properly this time. Now that I'm finally gonna be able to go home and see my mom, I kinda wanna… well, make it known that we're dating now."
"That-that's actually not a bad thing."
"Are you nervous about it?" Vaggie asked.
"Kinda. Ya know how you two are my first and only girlfriends?" The boy asked, getting a nod in return. "Well, that's kinda what makes me a little nervous. Not just telling her I'm dating someone, but two people."
"Do you think she'll react well to it?"
"I don't know for sure so… I just… I want you two to be there to… well just be there. I don't wanna do this alone."
"Hey, hey, look I know we've said this a lot of times, but you can trust us. If it's important to you, we will do this." Vaggie says, trying to reassure him.
"Right, we'll be there for you." Charlie tells him before taking his hand. "We will do this together. I'm sure she'll come around… hopefully."
"Yeah, I hope so. Uh… ya know I was also kinda thinking that maybe I could introduce you to some of my friends." Ash tells them. "Cause ya know, since you're gonna be there for longer than usual so… I didn't want you to be stuck in my house."
"Say no more! I'm sure your friends are amazing too! I wouldn't mind meeting them."
"Right, but… I obviously am gonna have to tell them about what I'm doing and where I'm disappearing to, but I just don't wanna get them involved in the hotel or anything. Especially after some of the stuff that happened here along with my new reputation."
"I mean, yeah that is a good idea to maybe keep them out of getting involved." Vaggie tells him before her girlfriend puts a hand on her shoulder.
"We'll worry about that when the time comes. When it does, we'll still be together and we'll talk about it together." Charlie says before kissing the boy on the cheek as he chuckles.
"Thanks."
(Flashback Over)
Charlie was all too eager to see his home again, especially learning that she might get to see some of his friends and spend time outside of Pallet Town. Though he was still worried about how his mother might react to him dating two girls, especially if his friends show up and he'd have to explain what he's been doing if they were freaking out about where he'd be.
However, he was happier to know that he was finally gonna go back home and he figured things would work out like the girls said. At the very least, he'd hopefully not go through with something like this again at least with the phone fixed.
"Are you sure he'll like it?" Ash perked up when he heard Vaggie's voice before looking around.
"I'm sure he will." He then heard Charlie… whispering? "I can't wait to see how he'll react. He's always so cute when he's embarrassed." He then turned to the top of the stairs where the two weren't even at yet. "I know you look good. ~"
"Okay, okay, maybe… maybe it won't be bad."
He finally saw them come into view before looking puzzled then looked away while putting his pinkie in his ear and pulling out as if he was gonna find something in there, but his finger came out clean. Pikachu tapped him on his elbow, getting his attention before pointing at the girls. He nodded before getting up,
not before wondering if his senses were getting stronger.
"Hey, you need help getting that?" Ash asked out of curiosity.
"Nope!" Charlie grunted as she pulled over her suitcase before nearly falling over as Vaggie quickly caught her and the baggage. "Okay, maybe I do."
The other two laugh before helping her stand the suitcase up. "Okay, you guys know the drill, right?" Vaggie called out. "We're only gonna be gone for a couple of days, no longer than five-"
"Yeah, yeah, we get it. We'll watch the hotel." Husk tells them.
"Also allow anyone who comes by to feel warm and welcomed!" Charlie says as well.
"Ah-huh."
"And no shenanigans whatsoever."
"We fucking get it!" Angel tells her in annoyance.
"... I think they're good." Ash says while putting a hand on Vaggie's shoulder. "Alright, guys, ready to go?" He called before the rest of his Pokemon heard and went up to him.
"Wait, the Pokemon are going with you?" Pentious asked.
"Yeah. They've been here for a while, so I figured they should come back and spend some time home too." He tells them.
"Makes sense." Husk says before the otter leaves his side.
Oshawott stopped for a second before looking back at the cat. Husk looked somber momentarily before waving him off, causing the otter to look a little disappointed before continuing to his trainer.
"Alright, it was… nice while it lasted, I suppose." Pentious says before putting Snivy down. "Farwell little one. I… hope we meet again someday."
Snivy looked a little uncomfortable before she started to leave to her trainer's side, leaving the snake who waved to her. Charizard let out a soft growl to Razzle and Dazzle who patted him on the head. Niffty was sniffling as she hugged Gible, not wanting to let him go, but ultimately letting him go to his trainer as well and one by one, the Pokemon went in their Pokeballs, except Pikachu.
The only person that wasn't there was Alastor, which wasn't surprising. However, Ash didn't want to see him right now. He still had yet to fully get over what happened a few days ago and wasn't to for a confrontation.
"Okay, everyone ready?" Ash says before Charlie's one-eyed cat jumps on his shoulder. "Uh, Keekee, you're not…" He says before she rubs her head against his cheek.
"I mean, I think she can come, can't she?" Charlie asked.
"Uh…" The boy says before taking a look at the cat. "I mean, I guess it wouldn't hurt. She could pass off as a Pokemon." He says before the cat rubs against him again.
"Wait, isn't she supposed to be used to lock up this joint?" Husk asks.
"Right, uh…" Charlie says before searching her pockets as she walks over to him. "Here, this is a spare key. You can use it to close up the hotel." She says while handing a key that looked like her cat to him.
"Thanks, I guess."
"Oh, I should get food for her. One more second!" Charlie says before running off.
"Okay, one more coming with us. Not so bad." Vaggie says as Pikachu jumps on her shoulder before she scratches his chin.
"Got it! Should be more than enough… hopefully." Charlie says while arriving with a big container of animal food.
"Oh, you can just put that in here." Ash says before taking off his backpack.
"W-what?"
"Yeah, just put it in here." He says while opening the top.
The girls both looked at each other puzzled, but the princess handed the container to the boy, who lifted it with ease before just putting the thing into his bag, practically making it disappear. Then he lifted it onto his back without struggling like he was carrying feathers, causing the girls to appear shocked.
"Alright, now is everyone ready?" He asked, again not even looking as though he was struggling.
"... Yes… yes, we are." The princess says.
With a nod, he took out his phone and got it ready to go. He moved his finger to the home button, but stopped, still worried that it might malfunction again The girls wrapped their arms around his, catching him off guard, but easing his worries as he smiled. He then waved to the group before pressing the button.
He winced a bit in anticipation, but… nothing happened. He got a little worried until he saw the symbol appear below him and the girls. They braced themselves and once the flames engulfed them, they were gone.
The moment they were gone, Angel groaned. "Finally, a few days without the lovey-dovey shit."
Unknown to them, a certain red demon was watching from the shadows, deep in thought.
(Pokemon World, Pallet Town)
After the flash from the teleportation, the trio blinked briefly before looking around. Looking back, they found themselves in front of a familiar house. Then the boy turned back again, seeing the town before them and the big windmill that was connected to a laboratory.
He took a step forward, the girls watching in anticipation. Everything, from the blow of the breeze to the sounds of the grass crunching under his shoes, was a feeling he still remembered.
"I'm home." He says to himself.
The girls smiled, happy to see him… well also happy.
"Oh, right, uh…" Ash says before clearing his throat and going back to them. "Sorry, about that."
"It's fine. You don't need to keep apologizing." Vaggie tells him.
"Right, uh… so… maybe I should reintroduce you to my mom."
"By all means." She says before he leads them to his front door.
"Wow, I almost forgot how beautiful it is here. Ya know we should come here more often." Charlie says while looking around.
"You know, you could just ask me. I can take you back no problem." Ash tells her.
"I would love that a lot."
He chuckled before reaching the door and stopped for a moment. He still was a little hesitant to see how his mother would react, or if she was even home to begin with. There was some hope that she wouldn't freak out since he was known to be gone for months at a time, but this wasn't him traveling to another region, this was him just disappearing without a word.
He gulped a bit before the girls both took his other hand in theirs. He looked back and gave them a reassuring smile before moving his free hand up and knocking on the door.
"Just a second!" He heard from the other side.
They waited there, hearing soft footsteps inside slowly becoming louder before the lock clicked, then the door opened. Delia was ready to say something but stopped. Her eyes widened as she stared at him before putting a hand over her mouth.
"Hi, mom." Ash says while awkwardly waving before she hugs him. "Mom-"
"My baby is home!" She says, on the verge of crying.
He waited for a second, then smiled as he hugged back. Knowing that she missed him made him feel bad, but also felt relieved that she didn't forget about him. That was before she grabbed him by the sides of his head and then pulled back to glare at him.
"Where have you been!? I haven't seen you in over a week! You haven't left any kind of notice!"
"Mom! Mom! You're hurting me!" He yelled.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" Delia let go of his head.
"Agh, it's fine. I don't…" He rubbed his jaw a bit. "Blame you."
"Seriously, though. Where have…" The woman trailed off before looking at the girls who looked somewhat nervous.
"Wha…" The boy looked back before realizing. "Wait, hold on, they didn't have anything to do with this! I swear!" He says before pulling out his phone. "Look, the Arc Phone had a problem, and when I arrived in Hell it just… well, it went dead for a few days. I'm… I'm really sorry."
"Oh, Ash, you don't have to apologize." The woman says while putting her hands on his shoulders. "I'm… I'm just… I'm happy to see that you're okay." She says before he smiles. "You two have been taking care of him, right?"
"Wha… Y-yeah, of course, we have." Charlie says nervously.
"Making sure he's been out of trouble?"
"I mean… mostly, yeah." Vaggie also says.
"And make sure he's been changing his underwear-?"
"MOM!" Ash yelled in embarrassment. "I'm not ten anymore!"
"I'm just kidding, dear. No need to make a fuss." The woman quickly says as the boy groans while covering his face in embarrassment as the girls giggle a bit.
The woman was about to say something until she noticed the luggage with them. She looked puzzled before her son looked back and then sighed.
"Right, uh… sorry I didn't talk to you about this beforehand, and to drop this on you now, but…" Ash hissed in anticipation. "I said that they could stay for… well… a couple of days." He says while sheepishly scratching his head. "Is it alright if they stay here for… a while?"
"Oh… oh…" Delia says before looking at the girls who again looked nervous. "Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt."
(Sometime later)
Ash entered his room with the girls in tow, taking a deep breath as Pikachu and Keekee decided to wander around the room for a bit. Taking a look around, maybe it was just cleaned recently but other than that, everything seemed left untouched.
He felt relieved as he kicked and took a small walk around before flopping on his bed.
"Ah… I missed this place." He says, feeling relaxed.
"So, this is your room?" Charlie says while looking around. "It's uh… really… nice."
"It's something alright." Vaggie also says after setting the luggage down.
"Yeah, nothing really special compared to our room in Hell." Ash tells them.
"No, no, I don't mean it like that." Charlie tries to tell him.
"It's fine, it's fine." He waved her off. "This is just kinda sentimental to me. Feels good to be back."
"I can tell." The princess says before putting her hands on the bed and slightly bouncing a bit. "Wow, your bed is so small. Almost like…" She trailed off for a small second. "It was made for a little boy."
"Well, it's my childhood bedroom. I've grown up in this room." He tells her before sitting up. "I should probably start thinking about moving at some point. Especially since I'm gonna be eighteen in a while."
"Probably a good idea." Vaggie says.
"Yeah, I mean… I could jump back and get one of the beds from the hotel."
Charlie stared for a second before thinking.
"No, we can make room." She says while grabbing her girlfriend.
"Wait, what!?" The other two say.
"Come on, just move a bit."
"Charlie!" Vaggie says.
"Careful!" Ash says.
Pikachu and Keekee watched the three attempting to get in position on the bed.
"Alright-" Ash tries to say.
"Okay, we got it…" Charlie says. "All good."
Eventually, they made it work. There was thankfully still enough room, but the girls were practically squished together against the boy and each other. Their arms were reaching over him just so they could hold themselves all together, one side of their legs was under each of his while the other side was hooked around each other over his legs, squishing them between their thighs which were also against his crotch.
The whole position was embarrassing to them.
"Uh, well, maybe not the most comfortable position… hold on." Charlie says before they start to shift a bit.
This time, their thighs rested next to him, just slightly against his legs, their arms only able to reach each other's backs as they lay slightly on top of him.
"Okay, this bed is bigger than I thought." The princess says.
"Told you it's not that small." He tells her, before they laugh, the boy in particular hoping they didn't notice the spot around his crotch.
Then as Ash looked up, something caught his attention. He tilted his head a bit while looking at his nightstand, his hat falling off before he perked up.
"Sorry, can you get up one second?" He asked as the girls got off him and he got on his knees before looking at the incubator on the dresser and picking it up. "Oh man, I completely forgot about this."
"Oh, that's right!" Charlie says before looking at the egg. "Wow, I can't believe it hasn't hatched since then."
"For me, not really. The first Pokemon egg I came across took over a month to hatch. Who knows how long this one will take."
"Well, it looks okay. I don't think it's gonna hatch any time soon." Vaggie says.
"Yeah, but I should probably head over to Professor Oak to check." Ash says while getting off the bed. "Besides, I'm sure he'd like to know I'm back too."
"Shouldn't we tell your mother about us, though?" Vaggie asked.
"Right, uh… maybe we could do that after we get back." Ash says before heading to the door. "Maybe we can think of what to say on the way back."
"Good enough for me." The princess says before Pikachu and Keekee jump on her shoulders.
They then left his room and were ready to head downstairs. The boy already trying to think of a way to explain how he was dating two girls and what his mother's reaction would be.
"Hey, mom! I'm gonna head over to Professor Oak's for a bit!" He says as he descends each step. "I just need a check-up on the egg, so I won't be gone long-" He stopped at the bottom of the stairs before his eyes widened at the sight of his living room.
Insert pics here for AO3 version.
There on the seats and couch were three of his old friends. Misty, Brock, Gary, and the professor he was gonna meet. He froze on the spot, the girls looking worried as they looked at the group in the living room, not knowing what to say. He looked back and forth, noting the situation before saying…
"... ssssssssssss… sugar honey ice tea."
(Meanwhile in a dark and empty part of Hell)
An argument was breaking out in one of the meat shops in the district. A hog demon in a shouting match with another demon, of which could not be heard behind glass.
Just as the hog demon grabbed the other by his shirt, the door opened, causing him to drop the guy in his hold as he saw someone who sent shivers down his spine.
"Good day, sir!" Alastor says as he walks in, the other demon running out after him. "I caught sight of your sign out front and make it my business to try out every new meat shop that appears. You never know which one will end up being my favorite."
The radio demon then hummed to himself as he looked over the different types of meat. The hog looked unnerved as the Overlord stood in his shop. His eyes nervously darted back to the butcher knife that was not far from him, anticipating his next move.
"Do you have any fresh venison? I do love a nice sirloin, but am partial to venison myself." The radio demon says. "Reminds me of simpler times."
Taking his chance, the hog reached for the knife, only to be proven a mistake as the Overlord slammed his hand in front of him, stopping him before he could do anything. He looked up, seeing the taller demon leering over him menacingly.
"AND WE ALL LOVE TO RETURN TO SIMPLER TIMES, DO WE NOT?" Alastor asked.
"Y-yes, sir… I uh…" The hog gulped. "I have some fresh cuts I can get for you." He says before going back.
"Good man." The Radio Demon says as the other demon starts chopping the meat. "Make sure all the silver skin is off. I prefer my meat to not taste like bubble gum." He says almost condescendingly.
The hog didn't bother testing his luck a second time as he sliced the skin off the requested meat. He could feel the Radio Demon's eyes burning into the back of his skull as he chopped up the meat, wrapped it, put it in a bag, and handed it to him.
"Thank you, kindly, my good sir." Alastor says as he takes his bag and exits the shop. "Oh, pardon me." He says while passing by another demon.
However, before he had entirely left.
"COME HERE BITCH!" The hog shouted.
"HEY STOP! LET ME GO!"
The Radio Demon stopped as his eyes went dark as he turned around and headed back.
"GET OFF! HELP! SOMEONE HELP!"
"STOP SQUIRMING YOU LITTLE-!" The hog says while manhandling the other demon before stopping.
Fear overshadowed his face as the sounds of static filled the air and he slowly turned around. The demon he had just served towered over him, smiling horrifically.
"You know… I do really hate those who can't show a little respect to those of fairer means. It's rather distasteful." Alastor hissed as the hog shook in horror. "Like… BAD MEAT."
Nothing could be seen from outside, but the shrill and horrific screams of pain and agony could be heard from the store. The screams are cut off by the sounds of crunching and splattering blood. The demon that was in peril sat in a fetal position, shivering as a dismembered hand landed next to her. She didn't say anything… only sat there as the Overlord walked past her.
"Hmm, not as tasty as venison, but…" Alastor says before lifting a piece of fresh liver to his face. "It'll do for now." He then put it in his mouth, enjoying the taste.
With his business done, he hummed to himself as he walked down the street. Some thoughts came to mind while he was by himself. After the incident that happened a few days ago, the human seemed to be avoiding talking to him or even being around him.
He wasn't dumb. The boy had undoubtedly caught onto what he was trying to do to him. He did figure that not only was his bond with the boy strained, but he still figured he could find a way around it. The boy had grown mistrustful of him, sure, but he was still the hopeful and kind type, believing that he may forgive him eventually.
However, one thing was for sure, with what the Vees had done… he had no worries about them taking power from the boy or tricking him in any way. Even if he wasn't gonna get anything out of Ash, he was sure that the boy wouldn't be helping the competition any time soon.
While thinking, he reached into his bag, taking out another piece of meat before stopping in his tracks. A clanking soon followed behind him that came to a stop before he tilted his head in the direction. He saw a familiar tall white-haired woman glaring down at him, her eyes narrowing. He didn't fret, his smile only widening, itching for entertainment.
(Pokemon World)
Well, this was quite the predicament. Here he was ready to go and visit his Pokemon professor to make sure the egg he had forgotten about, he was now facing his friends who looked astonished at his arrival.
"Well, look who decided to show up." Misty says as the three of the four got up and walked over to him. "Where have you been!?"
"Yeah, what happened? Where have you been?" Gary tells him.
"I… I was just… uh…" Ash says, trying to come up with an excuse.
"You said we could meet up another time." The ginger scolds him.
"I know what I said, but-"
"And what!? No call, no show, you disappear from the face of the earth for a week straight-"
"ALRIGHT! Look… can I just, get a moment to speak?" Ash says as they stop for a moment. "Okay, for starters, when did you arrive?"
"It was me, sweetheart." Delia says while raising her hand. "I just figured that you would want to see your old friends, at least let them know you're okay."
"Ugh… right, thank you, mom."
"What's up, man? What happened with you?" Gary asked.
"Yeah, where have you been all this time?" Brock asked.
"You better have a good explanation, Mr. Pokemon Master." Misty tells him.
"I get it. I messed up." Ash says before rubbing his face. "Listen, I… you're not gonna believe me if I tell you what I've been going through."
"Highly doubt that." Misty tells him.
"Okay, first, uh…" He looked up at the girls. "I should introduce you to someone, first." He says while ushering the two to come down as the others look puzzled before they see the girls come down. "Guys, this is Charlie and Vaggie."
"Hello." Charlie says while waving as Vaggie just stood back, awkwardly.
And just like time repeating itself, the rock-type gym leader rushed past the boy. He took Charlie's hand and held it on his own while getting down on one knee.
"Truly I have been blessed to meet such a beautiful woman!" He says as the princess jumped while Vaggie glared at him. "Your eyes are bright as the morning sun and your beauty rivals all that I have seen before. Please, will you allow me the honor of taking you out on a date-AGH!" He suddenly shouted as he cringed in pain. "Unless Croagunk takes me out first."
He then collapsed on the floor, a blue frog creature with orange cheeks standing behind him with one of its hands glowing purple. It then proceeded to drag him away from the stunned princess.
"Yeah, uh… sorry about that. I should've warned you about that beforehand about what Brock does." Ash says.
"No problem." Vaggie says through gritted teeth. 'He's lucky I didn't break his arm just now.'
"I hope he's not hurt." Charlie says with concern.
"He'll be fine. Brock always does this and gets hit with Croagunk's Poison Jab." Misty tells her.
"Wait, did you just say Poison?" The princess asked with even more concern.
"Don't worry, he always recovers from it quickly. I'm sure he'll be back up and have forgotten about the whole thing."
"He gets hit with that constantly?"
"Again, only when he's trying to pick up a girl." The ginger tells her, which calms the blonde a bit. "So, you're the girls that Ash has been helping out with a so-called project, huh?"
"Yes, I'm Charlie Morningstar." The princess says while taking her hand and shaking it. "It's nice to meet you."
Misty shook her hand, but while she had a good look, she eyed up the girls. They didn't look that much older than she did, and they… looked odd, yet they looked pretty. From looking at Charlie's face and Vaggie's skin, she thought they were wearing some kind of body paint which she didn't get. And unlike her, they… had more development in certain areas which she could see.
"... Likewise." She says with a hint of jealousy before taking her hand back.
"I believe we've already met, right?" Professor Oak says while walking up to them.
"That's right. It's nice to meet you again, Mr. Oak." Charlie says while bowing a bit.
"Good to see you too, Ms. Morningstar. And… Vagatha right?"
"Actually, it's Vaggie." The gray-skinned woman tells him.
"Oh, right. Sorry, my old mind isn't what it used to be."
"Wait, you've met them, Grandpa?" Gary asked.
"Grandpa?" The girls say.
"That's right. I've come across them once when they were visiting. It's nice to meet some new faces." The professor laughs a bit.
"Good to know." His grandson sighed.
"I'm sorry, I don't know if this is the most appropriate time, but… uh… maybe you'd like to know what we're doing?" Charlie suggested.
"I guess, but what do you do?" Misty asked, a bit perplexed.
"We rehabilitate ssssssssss…" Charlie quickly caught herself at her words as her lovers looked worried. "PEOPLE! We… rehabilitate people." She says before nervously chuckling.
"Oh, so… like a rehabilitation center?"
"... Well, more like a rehabilitation hotel."
"Huh, a hotel for rehab. Sounds neat." Gary says.
"In simple terms, yes." Vaggie says.
"You see, our goal is to help people change their ways at their own place by providing them with a place to stay. One that will provide them with all the service they'll need and no expense." Charlie explains proudly.
"... Wow, uh… dang. Gotta say, Ash, that's kinda nice, even for you." Misty says.
"Thanks, uh… You wanna sit down so we can talk about this?" Ash asks.
"Yeah, sure."
"First thing's first, I believe there was something you wanted to talk to me about concerning…" Oak says while pointing at the egg.
"Oh, right. Uh… sorry, can we talk more about this when I get back?" The boy asks.
"You're not gonna disappear the second you leave, right?" Gary asked.
"... No."
"Alright, good enough for me."
"I'll have lunch ready by the time you get back." Delia called out.
"Alright, thanks, mom!" He says before thinking for a moment. "Seriously though, I'm not gonna be gone long this time."
"Okay, good to know. Have fun, dear!"
"Well, shall we?" Oak asked.
"Lead the way." Vaggie says before the old man goes for the door before her, Ash and Charlie follow. "Ya know I'm surprised that you're mom isn't freaking out about you leaving again." She says quietly.
"Eh, I'm usually gone for long times. This isn't something much new for us." Ash says back quietly before looking back as they were at the door. "We'll be back soon."
"Yeah, look forward to it." Brock says as he walks back to the group.
The boy smiled at them and thumbs-up before closing the door. After a second, Misty went up to the window and looked out, seeing them walk away. She couldn't hear, but Charlie seemed to be talking excitedly about something before she practically jumped at the boy and clung to his arm.
She caught at the last second him blushing as he smiled at her. Her face scrunched a bit upon seeing such. He never did that around her, much less did he even look at her that way now that they were older. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance when he did that to this girl's actions… and a bit of… something else.
(In Hell)
Alastor grunted as he was slammed against the wall of a nearby alley. "Ack… so hostile." He says smugly.
"No me pongas a prueba, caribú." Carmilla says with a scowl. "Where is he?"
"Where is who?"
"You know who I'm talking about."
"I don't believe I follow. Who is the 'he' we're talking about?" Alastor says almost tauntingly.
"The human! I know you know of his existence, so don't you mess with me." Carmilla says while raising her sharp heel.
The Radio Demon simply glanced at the weapon and only chuckled. "Why didn't you just say so?"
"Tell me where he is!" She demanded from him.
"Hmm… well, nowhere I have access to, unfortunately. I doubt you will have much luck in finding him." He says before choking a bit as she grabs his throat tightly. "Is there… some reason why you want to see him?"
"You know why I'm bothering asking you. I know you saw what he did to Vox just days ago. If you know where he is-"
"Easy, easy, now." Alastor laughed condescendingly before phasing out of her grip and standing beside her. "I didn't say I didn't know where he is. I'm just unable to speak with him at the moment."
"In case I need to remind you, that human left Vox in what would normally be classified as critical condition. That same human that was by your side who you said owed you a favor." The woman continued as the Radio Demon's smile widened. "And you brought him to a private meeting, allowing him to learn about an angel being killed, and now-"
"Oh, don't blame the young gentlemen for being curious. He just wanted to get to know me better."
Carmilla started to say something but caught her words before they could exit her mouth as she realized something. "You knew…" She muttered at first. "You knew what that boy was capable of, didn't you?" She says as his smile widens again. "You knowingly brought that human to us knowing how dangerous he was and what damage he could've caused?"
"There is no need to be so worried, my dear." Alastor laughed with a wave of his hand. "He's pretty nice when you get to him, the most polite young man you'll ever come across. He and the princess are really close."
"Lucifer's daughter?"
"Mmm hmm. Very close in fact. Would jump in front of a spear for her, likely."
Hearing that from him wasn't surprising for the other Overlord to hear. With how joy-filled and trusting the princess was, getting close to her was probably the easiest thing to do in the afterlife, and the human would probably have no less luck. Though if he was as close to the princess as she was told, then would that mean he's trustworthy?
"You saw the way he acted during the meeting, remember?" Alastor asked as she looked down in thought. "Just saying. You may find that there is more than meets the eye with that boy. More under the surface persay." He says while turning on his heel and walking down the alley. "I can assure you that you won't find him trouble."
She made the mistake of taking her eyes off him for a second. "If you're lying to me-" She says before turning back to see he was gone.
She ran to the corner and looked around, not seeing him around before growling to herself. Despite coming out just to get information from the Radio Demon, he gave her so little. Although, little to just about enough.
From what she knew, she thought back to the meeting when Velvette seemed to put him on the verge of snapping had she not interfered. At first, she thought he was digging his grave, but if she hadn't gotten involved, what would he have done then?
Before that though, the boy was trying to argue his case and back up Zestial in his argument. He seemed to be trying to help them survive the upcoming Extermination and even showed humility when she told him off.
He only seemed to show anger when Velvette was taunting him. If what Alastor says about him being close to the princess is true, then with how he acted during the meeting, she thought that maybe she could talk to him. At the very least, she could convince him that she wasn't a threat.
Although, another thing stuck in her mind. Where was he that she couldn't have access to? The mortal realm? Heaven? The former seemed more likely. But whichever world he was in, what was he doing right now?
(Pokemon World)
Ash and the girls exited the lab, tests ran on the egg and done and now they were ready to head back.
"The egg should not take long to hatch now. I have a feeling your little friend might come soon." Oak explains.
"Right, I hope so." Ash says before lifting it to eye level. "You ready to get out of that shell, buddy?" He asks before the egg shakes as if it heard him.
"Oh, I bet the little guy is gonna be so adorable." Charlie geeked.
"I'm sure you'll find that the case." Oak tells them. "Since you're gonna be here for a few days, you may be lucky to see it break out."
"Yeah, trust me. It'll be awesome. Thanks a lot, Professor. See you around." Ash says while waving as he and the girls start to leave.
"Goodbye, Ash. Have fun!" Oak says as he waves back, watching them leave before chuckling to himself. "Ah, to be young again."
(Sometime later at the house)
So, once the group was back, the egg was placed in Ash's bedroom, and the four friends sat around the dinner table. Misty was gonna sit next to Ash, but the girls sat on either side of him so she just went to sit next to Brock while Delia came by and handed out bowls of soup to everyone.
"Thanks, mom." Ash says once taking his. "So, uh… how have things been? How are you guys doing?"
"Mostly fine. My dad is taking care of the gym and my little siblings have been doing good." Brock explains.
"Spending time with sisters. Nothing really special." Misty says.
"Gotcha. What about you, Gary?"
"Well, ya know. Been doing more to become a professor like my grandpa, but ya know I also keep up with my Pokemon training." Gary says before laughing. "Speaking of which, you owe me a battle at some point."
"Yeah, good to know."
"Ya know, I kinda wanna more about ya know… uh… Gym stuff and whatnot." Charlie asks.
"... Okay, uh… I used to be the Pewter City Gym Leader for a while. My father was gone for a long time too, but… well, he took over for me." Brock explained.
"Oh, really?"
"Of course. When I started traveling with Ash, I decided to work on becoming the best Pokemon Breeder out there." He then says as Vaggie jumps a little.
"I-I'm sorry, breeder?" She asked, feeling unnerved.
"Yeah, ya know. Someone who helps nurse Pokemon from birth and guide them through growth."
"O-oh, I…" She cleared her throat. "I see." She then chuckles nervously. 'Dammit, Angel is infecting my mind.'
"Now, I'm working to become a Pokemon Doctor. Which is why I moved back home. I wanna put all the skills I learned from traveling to good use."
"That's nice to hear."
Afterward, things went quiet quickly. The princess laughed nervously as she tried to think of something, but couldn't come up with anything to say. The boy looked at his mother, then at his friends, then at Pikachu who had a food bowl with Keekee. The Pokemon did a small pushing motion with a nod and the trainer inhaled, making up his mind.
"Okay, I think it's time I start explaining." Ash says before standing up. "Listen, the whole thing with me disappearing is because… well…" He hesitated.
"I'll start off." Charlie says as she stands up and puts a hand on his shoulder. "So, you may know this, but me and Vaggie, we are not from here."
"I think that's pretty obvious." Misty spoke up.
"Ah-huh. Obviously." She says before playing with her hair for a second.
"Alright, where do you live? How close is it?" Gary asks in curiosity.
"Not that close actually. I wouldn't imagine Hell being that close-" She quickly covers her mouth too late.
The other two next to her and the animals eating were shocked as pin-drop silence followed. Delia bit her lip in concern as she looked at the friends who looked surprised. Misty dug in her ear with a pinkie finger for a second.
"I'm… sorry, I don't think I heard you. What did you say?" She asked.
"I uh… well, that's the thing. We're… demons… from Hell." Charlie explains again. "I know it sounds crazy, but it's true."
Another wave of silence followed before Gary decided to break the silence by laughing.
"Aw, man. You didn't tell us, you were also a comedian, Charlie." He laughed.
"Haha, yeah. She knows how to tell a joke." Brock says as well.
"No, seriously. Look, let me prove it." She then created fire in her hands and showed it to them, causing them to jump a bit before she stopped. "No, wait, that's not enough. Uh… here." She then covered her forehead and raised her hands, bringing out her horns and changing her eyes.
"WOAH! WOAH!" Gary says as the three jump out of their chairs out of shock.
"Holy moly!" Brock nearly shouts.
"I'm sorry, was that a bit much?" Charlie says as she turns back to normal.
"You're… you're a demon?" The former gym leader asked.
"Yes."
"Both of you?"
"Yes."
"You're not lying? There's no like… Pokemon casting an illusion around here, right?" Gary asks before pulling out his Pokedex to search the room. "Is there a Zoruark somewhere around here?"
"No, no Pokemon is doing this. This is all real." The princess continued to explain.
"Yeah, everyone just calm down, please." Ash tried to help.
They stared at her, expecting her to slip up, but when she didn't, the reality started to slowly kick in.
"Holy crap, you're not lying." Misty says.
"I know what it sounds like, but we're not as bad as you may think. As I said, I'm running a hotel for rehabilitation." Charlie explains.
"Hold on, so you wanna try to rehabilitate people… in Hell?" Brock asks in awe.
"That is correct, but uh… ya see our Hell is not really attached to your Earth… or whatever this world is called." Charlie tells them.
"It's uh… bad, but not entirely. We've never been to the Hell in your world so we can't say what's like, but our Hell is a lot different." Vaggie continued.
If you guessed there was another wave of silence… yeah, there was.
"Okay, I have seen a lot of crap happen when I was traveling with Ash, but you two saying you're demons from Hell… you sound crazy right now."
"Alright-" Ash says in annoyance. "I know it sounds unbelievable but can you not call my girlfriends crazy-" He quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, the girls looking shocked.
"... What?"
"Aw, crapbaskets."
"D-did… w-wait, who's the…" Brock says in shock. "D-did you say girlfriend or girlfriends?" He asks, desperately hoping it was as he was asking.
Ash hissed through his teeth before whispering to Charlie. "Should we tell them?"
"I don't think it's the best idea right now." Vaggie whispers.
"I don't know, I think we should tell them just to get it over with." Charlie whispered back.
"Wait…" Delia says as she stood up in shock as well. "Ash are you… dating one of these girls?"
"Uh… um…" Ash got nervous before sighing. "Not just one of them."
"What do you mean not just one?" Misty asked with a suspicious eyebrow raised.
"Aha, funny story. Ya see, we…" Charlie says, trying to put together words. "We're kind of in a… a-a three-way… relationship." She says awkwardly. "... We're all dating each other."
"... Oh my Arceus." Gary says before Brock faints.
"Hold on, this is why you've been gone for a week!?" Misty shouts in disbelief.
"NO! That's not it at all!" Ash says, getting flustered. "I… ya know what…" He says before taking out his Arc Phone. "Let me start from the beginning."
(A long-winded recap of the previous chapters later)
After moving to the living room and explaining everything, leaving out some parts, the gang was left in shock. Delia in a recliner more so of the recent news, Brock on another recliner crying in disappointment as Pikachu and Keekee were comforting him, Gary on the couch was just in disbelief, and Misty on the other end had her hands together as she thought about what she just heard.
The trio looked a little worried, thinking maybe they said too much about what happened, but couldn't backtrack. Misty moved her hands up.
"Let me get this straight." She says before looking at the boy. "You've been going back and forth to this other Hell with this magical phone, been walking around demons ever since, been practicing this thing called aura, and now you're dating not one but two demon women, one of which is the daughter of the devil?"
"Uh… yeah, pretty much." Ash says while sheepishly scratching the back of his head before raising his Arc Phone up. "The reason I was gone for a week was because my phone was out of commission."
The ginger stared at him for a moment, her glare making him uncomfortable. Misty just took a deep breath before sitting back and putting her hands on her head.
"I'm just… I'm gonna go in the back real quick." Brock says as he gets up.
"What for?" Ash asks.
"Nothing just… give me a moment." The man then walked out of sight. "WHY!? Why!? Why can't I get a girl!?" His sobs could be heard from wherever he was. "Ash gets to have two girls at once and even though I'm older than him, I haven't gotten even one!"
"Is he gonna be okay?" Charlie asks as the man's sobs can still be heard.
"Eh, he'll get over it I'm sure of it… eventually." Gary says. "Still, uh… the thing with Hell and aura aside, you… heh, damn, you getting with two girls at once? I know you didn't get that charisma from me."
"Yeah, haha. Very funny, Gary." Ash tells him sarcastically.
"Just saying. I was expecting you to be going for someone more your age. No offense." The other boy says as the girls wave him off.
"Okay, come on, man. I know they're adults, but they're not that much older than me."
"Actually Ash, I'm currently past my mid-twenties." Vaggie whispers to him, which makes him surprised a bit.
"... Well, I mean, that's not-"
"And I'm over two hundred years old." Charlie whispers to him.
His face dropped when she told him before looking between the two, then back to their guests. Delia got a little suspicious when hearing it.
"Uh… l-like I said, not that much older." He says before awkwardly laughing and then shaking his head. "It's not really important.
"I mean, you definitely got lucky, that's for sure." Gary says while eying the girls up a bit which causes them to blush in embarrassment.
"Yeah, yeah, so lucky." Misty bitterly. "Yeah, so how did it happen exactly?"
"I mean, uh…" Ash blushed, thinking about how. "It just did. We got to know each other and eventually, it led to us becoming a thing."
"Yeah, he's a real sweetheart." Charlie says while patting her boyfriend's shoulder.
"Heh, alright, don't get too frisky, lovebirds." Gary says teasingly.
"Sure, sure. You sure there aren't any other girls, you're seeing?" Misty says, still bitter.
"What?... N-no, I haven't met any other girls-" Ash started to say.
"But if you did, you'd shack up with them too, wouldn't you?"
"Wha… Why are you making these assumptions."
"I'm just saying!" Misty says in annoyance as she stands up. "Why stop at two? Why don't you get yourself a whole group of them next!?"
"Woah, take it easy, Mis-" Gary says, trying to diffuse the situation.
"You stay out of this!" She yelled at him as he jumped a bit.
"Misty, where is this coming from?" Ash asked.
"I don't know. Why don't you take a hint!? Since you seem to be able to understand love now!?" She yelled while pointing at him. "Enough to be dating these two."
"Misty-" Brock says after calming down.
"Okay, leave the girls out of this." Ash says sternly. "What is your problem?"
"What do you think my problem is?" Misty says.
"I don't know! I'm not psychic! I can't read minds, Misty!"
"I shouldn't have to tell you!?"
"You can't just expect me to know what you're talking about!"
"You know what!..." She grits her teeth for a second. "Forget it." She says before storming out.
"Wait, Misty! Hold on!" Ash called while reaching out before the door slammed, only then did regret fill his face before he covered it. "Dammit, what did I do?"
Brock and Gary gave him a 'WTF' look, seeing something he wasn't. Vaggie felt bad for both of them, especially since she knew her boyfriend was still ignorant about some things, being so young. Charlie stared at the door where the ginger left, feeling worst of all since she had a feeling what the other girl was going through.
"Ugh, this is… I'm… I'm gonna go get her." Ash says as he is about to leave before his arm was grabbed.
"No, Ash. How about you let me see her?" Charlie offers.
"Charlie, I love you, but I wanna make sure she's okay."
"Don't worry, I'll talk to her and bring her back. I have a feeling I know what she's dealing with."
"You do?"
"Yes, trust me. I think I can help with this."
Ash hesitated for a moment before sighing. "Okay, just… be careful. It's getting dark out."
"I will. I promise." Charlie says before giving him a peck on the lips, which was like a gut punch to Brock. "Be back soon." She then headed for the door, Keekee jumping on her shoulder.
Once the door was closed and Charlie was gone, Delia stared for a second before massaging her templates. Then she got up with a little stretch.
"So, that happened…" She says before looking at her son. "Ash, I'd like to talk once your friends are done visiting."
"... Yeah, I get it, mom." Ash says sheepishly.
"Good… now I'm gonna go clean the dishes." Delia says before leaving the living room.
Once gone, Ash pinched the bridge of his nose as Vaggie and Pikachu comforted him. Things were not going as well as he hoped.
(Later)
Charlie looked around outside, spotting the ginger storming off into the forest before she ran after her. As darkness was falling upon the forest, the princess was in awe of the scenery. She started to admire how beautiful it all looked even when it was barely sundown, seeing some smaller Pokemon wandering. However, she quickly slapped herself as her mission at the moment was to find the girl.
"Hello! Misty!" She called out as she stepped around a few bushes. "It's uh… it's getting dark! Maybe you shouldn't be-WOAH!" She says, nearly tripping. "Maybe you should come back! Ash is worried about you!" She looked around. "Hello!"
She slowed a bit when she heard a sound she wasn't familiar with. As she approached the sound, she came across a stream, stopping for a second as she listened to the flow of the water, mesmerized by the sight, crouching a bit and putting her finger in it. It was cold.
Following the stream, she saw Misty sitting at the edge in a fetal position, head down. She bit her lip, thinking of what to say that wouldn't make things worse. Slowly approaching her, she stopped at least a few feet from her.
"Um, hi." Charlie says as the girl looks up at her, which makes her a little worried.
"... Hey." Misty says quietly.
The blonde became stiff for a moment, thinking of what to say next.
"I-I'm sorry if I made you mad earlier."
"You didn't make me mad. I just… I just need some time alone."
The blonde stepped closer while taking a harder look. The ginger tried to hide it, but she could still see a small tear in her eye reflecting in the remaining sunlight. Now understanding, she stepped a little closer before sitting next to her… scooting back a bit to give her some space.
"Is it because of Ash?" Charlie asked.
"Gee, what gave you that idea?" Misty says bitterly again before realizing what she said. "Sorry."
"It's fine. I don't blame you for being upset."
The ginger didn't say anything to her, only looking away.
"I take it you're in love with him?" Charlie asked again, getting a small nod in return. "I figured as much." She says as the ginger stays quiet. "You know, he's worried about you. He also cares about you."
"He's like that to just about anyone. It's nothing special to me." Misty says before lifting herself a bit. "That being said, he's so nice he seems oblivious to so much crap… especially when it comes to love."
"I…" Charlie hesitated for a moment before thinking. "How long have you two known each other?"
"Ever since we were ten. Right as he was starting his journey. Fished him out of a river like this one when he and Pikachu were hurt."
"Really?"
"Yeah, at first I thought he was just a dumb kid who only cared about himself." Misty says with a sad chuckle. "I was right about him being dumb…" She says before frowning. "But I was wrong about him not caring. He's always been one to throw himself into danger just to protect others, especially his Pokemon. Guess that kindness grows on you after a while."
The ginger sighs before drying her tears with her shoulder.
"Four years we've been traveling together. He ever tell you that?"
"Not how long you've been doing it, but he has told me some stories since he's been coming to my hotel."
"Figures." Misty leaned back. "Did he also tell you I was only traveling with him because he destroyed my bike?" She says as the princess looks a little nervous as she looks away. "Right. To be honest, I started to forget about that dumb bike. Nothing felt dull around him."
Charlie started to smile a bit. "I get that part."
"Yeah, trust me, he was a breath of fresh air. Good excuse not to be around my annoying sisters."
"I'm no stranger to problematic siblings." The princess chuckles. "Oldest?"
"Youngest, actually. They're more stars than trainers. Once I got back home, they decided to travel the world, leaving me to take over as Gym Leader. I still met with him several times, and he'd always be excited to show off his badges and new Pokemon."
"That sounds nice." Charlie says. "Have you ever told him how you felt?"
"No." Misty says sadly. "I wanted to but… I just couldn't. Once we stopped traveling together, he started setting on journey after journey to another region. It's like he couldn't sit still for too long, always striving to see more of the world. I guess… part of me hoped he'd finally settle down and stay here long enough so I can work up the courage to talk to him, but… well, guess it's my fault I was too late to tell him."
The princess listened, not saying a word to interrupt her.
"Sorry." Misty tells her. "Didn't mean to get into a whole sob story you probably wouldn't get."
"It's not a problem to me. While I'm not exactly much experienced with human relationships, I know what's like to be in love with someone who doesn't give it back." Charlie says causing the ginger to perk up. "Yeah, I used to have a boyfriend before Ash and Vaggie. Unfortunately, things didn't work out. I know it's not exactly the same, but, it's something that bothers me from time to time."
"It's fine, I guess." The ginger thought to herself. "So many years I've known him, and I got beat out by someone who's only known him for just over a month." She says before looking at her reflection in the water. "Maybe it just wasn't meant to be."
"Well, I know one thing's for sure. He still cares about you. Maybe not romantically, but he still likes you, enough that he was gonna come out here to look for you." Charlie continued to tell her. "It's not so bad to still be friends with him, right?"
Misty didn't say anything, only silently nodding.
The two sat in that spot for a while until the princess noticed it getting darker, then stood up.
"Come on, let's go back. I'm sure they're getting worried about us." She says while extending a hand.
The ginger stared for a moment before taking it and being pulled up, before being pulled into a hug. She was taken aback for a moment, but after a second more tears streamed down her face before hugging back. The princess smiled brightly, her heart becoming warmer in their hold.
(A moment later)
The two were making their way out of the forest, the house coming back into view. However, Misty stopped before Charlie turned to her.
"Hey, thanks for talking to me." She tells the blonde.
"It's no biggie." The blonde says.
"Seriously, you and Ash… heh, I can see why he likes you. You're kinda like him in some ways."
"Really?"
"Well, minus the whole thing about becoming a Pokemon Master, but yeah. Still, thanks."
She then gave the blonde a pat on the shoulder before continuing to the house. Charlie smiled again before following.
(A little bit earlier)
Delia was in the middle of doing dishes as her son was talking with his friends. Vaggie peeked inside before stepping in, Mr. Mime passing her while sweeping as she walked up to the woman.
"Hey, ya know, I could help." She offered.
"That's sweet of you, Vaggie, but it's not polite to have guests doing chores for you." The woman told her.
"It's not a big deal. I don't mind helping."
The redhead looked down at her for a moment. She only shrugged and grabbed spare dish gloves and a sponge, handing them to her.
"Not to make things any more awkward than they are, but I'm sorry you had to find out about us dating your son like this." Vaggie tells her.
"I don't have a problem with it, but… the thought that my son is dating two girls… that aren't human, just… I do not know how to put what I'm thinking into words."
"It's weird?"
"Yeah, something like that."
"I guess it wouldn't be too surprising to think that. I… don't know what else to say."
Delia looked at her for a moment before smiling a bit. "Are you taking care of my boy?"
"Wha?" Vaggie asked before realizing what she meant and blushed. "Uh… y-yes, we… we have, but… he seems perfectly capable of taking care of himself. He hardly asks to help." She looked at the boy. "I never met anyone as kind as him or Charlie before. There's just something special about him."
"Well, I'm glad to know that my baby has someone watching over him. Even if it's a little unorthodox."
Vaggie chuckled while blushing, taking a small look back at the boys before getting back to focusing on the dishes.
"I would never treat a girl like that." Brock says to his friends.
"Wow, you say that's the first human in existence who said that?" Gary asks.
"Pretty much, yes." Ash finishes explaining. "And yet, he's allowed to stay in Heaven."
"Sounds like a lot of people fell far from the tree then." The brunette says.
"Uh, ya know, before we talk about anything else, can I ask you something, Ash?" Brock asks as the boy turns to him. "Are there… any women you know about that are looking for a date in that world?"
The boy looked a little surprised before thinking for a second. Other than Charlie and Vaggie, he didn't know too many girls. The only ones he knew were, Rosie, Carmilla, and Velvette… yeah, he didn't have to list why any of them wasn't a good idea.
"Not that I know of, no." He says before chuckling nervously as the man slumped.
"You wanna be messing with demon girls?" Gary asks.
"I don't know, maybe." Brock says dejectedly.
Ash looked outside, noting how dark it was becoming. "It's getting late. I should probably go look for them."
"Charlie can take care of things… hopefully." Vaggie says before they hear the front door open. "That's probably them."
Ash quickly rushed to the front seeing the girls safe and sound. "Misty! Charlie!" He says while running over and scooping them up in a hug, before letting them down. "Is… is everything okay."
Misty looked at the blonde before smiling a bit. "Yeah, everything's fine now, Mr. Pokemon Master."
"Oh good. Look, Misty, I'm sorry-"
"Stop!" She says while putting a finger to his mouth. "Don't apologize. I'm sorry for freaking out the way I did earlier. That was really uncalled for."
"... Okay, but…" Ash started to say before stopping. "Nevermind. It's good to have you back."
Misty chuckles, but accepts it and joins back with the group for the night.
(Sometime later)
After Ash's friends left for the night, Delia sighed before looking at her son. The boy in particular looked nervous as he figured out what she was gonna talk about.
"So, uh… for starters, I'm glad to know you're okay, and as for the thing with you and these girls dating…" She started as she looked at the girls before looking back at her son, then hugging him. "I'm so proud of you."
"W-wait, wait, hold on. You're not… upset by this or anything?" He asked, puzzled.
"No-I mean-" Delia says while pulling away a bit. "It's a little odd, I know, but I'm glad to know you've finally found someone you love… well two people, but that's beside the point."
"Yeah, hehe, uh… I would've told you earlier, but I couldn't with my phone…"
"Right, I know. It's just… my little boy is growing up so fast." She says while pinching his cheeks.
"Ow, okay, mom!" Ash says while moving away from her, rubbing his cheek. "Ow."
"And for you two." Delia says while looking at the girls. "Whatever is going on in your world… please try to keep my baby safe, even if he doesn't need help."
"Got it." Vaggie says with a thumbs-up.
"You can count on us, Mrs. Ketchum!" Charlie says enthusiastically.
"Good… now go sit at the table while I work on dinner." Delia says as she goes to the kitchen.
"I'll help!" Ash says while following.
"Ash, you don't have to do that."
"Well, I am."
Pikachu and Keekee watched from the couch, sighing as they were happy for their trainer and owner.
"Hey, Keekee, Pikachu, just a small word?" Charlie whispers as the duo pays attention. "I just need a small favor."
(Later that night)
Once it was time for bed, Ash was currently brushing his teeth. So some things didn't go as planned, but all's well that ends well, at the very least. His friends were finally out of the dark about what he's been doing, his mother is accepting of his relationship, win-win all around, right?
Now that the Arc Phone was finally working again, he could only hope that it wouldn't malfunction a second time. Maybe he could pop in over at the hotel just to check and see how things were going with them, maybe send Oshawott there to see Husk. Well, tomorrow was gonna be a new day so, he could work out what to do next.
Once he was done in the bathroom, he walked out before stopping. He caught Pikachu and Keekee going downstairs and went to check, seeing what looked like a bed that they both got into a small bed on the couch. He was puzzled but thought nothing of it and went to his bedroom where his girlfriends were waiting.
"Alright." Ash says as he enters while taking his hat off. "Sorry for the… wait…" He says before trailing off as he froze like a deer in headlights.
"Oh, it's no problem, sweetie." The princess says. "Gave us some time to get ready."
Okay, I'm gonna be honest, I cannot begin to describe what the outfits the girls are wearing look like for those who aren't on Wattpad or AO3. So I'm gonna make it simple and say that they're wearing the outfits from the official "Pin-up Playmats" for the characters… you can see them in the playmat part of the gallery in the official wiki.
The boy's eyes widened as his hat slowly fell out of his hand. There standing before him were the girls, their outfits on the floor and instead wearing some sexy lingerie that clung to their bodies. Charlie was taking joy in his reaction while Vaggie looked nervous but still smiled when seeing him.
"Like what you see? ~" The princess says seductively.
"Uh… I-I…" Ash says before gulping and making himself smile as his face was heating up. "Y-yeah, it… y-you look… amazing."
"Good, then you're gonna love what we have planned."
"Yeah…" Vaggie says before they walk over and take him by the arms leading him further inside. "We figured it'd be nice to commemorate your first day back home and make it more… uh… memorable, yeah." She says as her girlfriend laughs at her attempt at being seductive.
"W-wait, now? I…" The boy looked back. "B-but my mom is downstairs, she'll hear."
"That's what soundproofing is for." Charlie says before pressing closer while hugging his arm. "Now, I believe it's been a while since we've engaged in…" She leaned in and inhaled his scent. "Passionate fornication, don't you think? ~"
"I… I mean, yeah… i-it has been a while." Ash says, completely flustered.
"Then what do you say we make up for it? ~" She says before her tail whips out and slams the door shut.
How long was it gonna be before he went to bed this time?
To be continued…
… Oh my god, it's finally finished. Okay, short author's note.
