Cherri wasn't lying about how cool the shows were; right now they were watching a stunt show where every single stunt would undoubtedly have gotten the stunt people on Earth killed painfully several times over if they had even attempted them. Lincoln was engrossed in the show but heard the sounds of screaming and stabbing outside.
"Would it help if we get out and help..." Lincoln asked as Charlie and Vaggie frowned at that.
"Don't recommend it... The treaty and terms for the Extermination means that we royals can't interfere without due cause which would include being provoked first..." Charlie answered softly as Angel Dust then turned to Lincoln.
"Besides... Wouldn't be worth it Link... Trust me... I know this place is all about redemption and that shit but you can't tell the not so bad to the totally deserved to get fucking exterminated out there... Best keep out of sight and in hiding there..." Angel Dust then told Lincoln and that seemed to put Lincoln more at ease as he tried to focus more on the show.
However soon they heard pounding at the door making them confused; "What the fuck... Are there sinners trying to get in?" Cherry asked as they then saw the door and walls around it smashed open and in came Exorcists making Cherri and Angel Dust scatter with Charlie and Vaggie open mouthed.
Lincoln jumped and saw the terrifying 3 Exorcists that came in with the robed Adam in. "What the fuck... This place is a fucking dump... Yes I know all of Hell is but if the princess was living in a hotel then I think that it would look better than a negative five star joint... Are we sure we got the right address... Prive; I think you got scammed by a fucking sinner..." Adam yelled out looking around unimpressed by the building.
One of them came to the couch as Lincoln was trying to hide behind the pillows and then checked the pictures; the eyes on her mask moved and yelled out "Adam sir; it's him!"
Adam then flew over and then looked over Lincoln and took out the picture to check for himself; "so it fucking is... Ahem..." Adam then said as he then cleared his breath. "You must be Lincoln; don't fret as this is your salvation! I'm Adam and we're kind of family... Actually pretty much family as you are descended from me... Like everyone else you know... Don't think about it too much but..." Adam then said as he then reached out for Lincoln but Charlie then came in front of the scared Lincoln protectively.
"What's your business here?" Charlie demanded as Adam put on a smile.
"You must be Lucifer's daughter... I'm Adam and I was told that a kid from Earth was down here in Hell... Seems that his family screwed up big time and got him sent down here because the goth girl didn't know when to leave enough alone... I digress... I will be taking him and..." Adam said putting on a friendly front as Lincoln freaked out and sent a wave of magic that sent Adam and the Exorcists behind and he ended up transformed into his angel state. "Okay... Already; this is unexpected..." Adam muttered taken aback as one of the Exorcists then yelled out.
"What the fuck did you do to the human child; you spawn of the wicked!" yelled the Exorcist as she then went to attack Charlie with a spear when she was pushed back by Charlie and then Vaggie came tackling the Exorcists with her own spear. "Okay... So the brat has servants to help her... Wait..." said the Exorcist as she then pushed Vaggie off. "Eye and the spear... It's you..." muttered out the Exorcist as Vaggie looked confused but her eye widened.
3 years ago Vaggie was running in terror on the streets of the Pentagram as the Extermination was under away. She then spotted an Exorcist coming her way and went to hide behind a trash can in panic. She looked and found that the Exorcist was chasing a child sinner who looked terrified and followed it into an alleyway.
"It's your chance Vaggie... Run and find somewhere safe... Wasn't a future for the kid anyway in here..." Vaggie told herself as she went to run but found her feet couldn't move and groaned. She looked and saw that the Exorcist had the kid corner and then jumped and tackled the Exorcist. "Get to safety!" Vaggie yelled to the kid who then ran away.
The Exorcist then tackled Vaggie and chuckled; "Wow... This is new... A sinner trying to be a hero..." the Exorcist said with a hint of surprised amusement and then Vaggie yelled as her eye was pierced with the spear and then cut off and stepped on. Vaggie was then pinned sitting down to the alley and the spear then pinned her shirt to the wall. "This was so amusing that... You get a chance to make it out... A small chance as I don't think that you can get out of here or if another Exorcist finds you here... But hey; it's something you sinner filth..." the Exorcist said as she then flew away.
"You..." Vaggie said as the Exorcist clashed her spear with Vaggie's; Vaggie putting on a glare but the Exorcist then smirked at her.
"Should have stayed away..." the Exorcist but then yelled as Razzle and Dazzle then attacked her feet with her yelling; then came in Cherri Bomb throwing bombs at the Exorcists and Angel Dust got out guns to fire at them. The bombs and bullets didn't affect them but then yellow magic strikes then hit them as there were Charlie with her horns out as she then got Lincoln in an embrace looking emotional at the Exorcists who were ready to attack but stopped as Adam put up a hand.
"Look; we will leave and let your guests in this shithole alone as long as you give the kid over and we can fix what you done to him..." Adam offered but Lincoln glared at the suggestion that they were responsible for it. The Exorcists didn't like the idea of the offer but floated in place.
"You don't understand... It's permanent and he can't go back to his family... He needs to be here to learn to control his power..." Charlie said as Adam scoffed.
"Who said anything about him going back to that fucking place? No; getting him sent down here was the last straw. Honestly kicking him out of the head because the athlete bitch was a sore loser and called him bad luck should have been the final straw... Be expecting to find them down here one day..." Adam said as their eyes widened and Lincoln looked nervous.
"What... Lincoln... What is he talking about?" Vaggie asked as Lincoln was silent as the situation was a bad memory to even revisit in his head.
"Look... He gets to relax in Heaven while we find somewhere else for him to go to... Plus you say we can't fix him? Bitch; we put Earth together..." Adam said as the Exorcists and him then began yelling in pain and dropped to the ground to their confusion.
"Not that I'm complaining but what the fuck is happening?" Angel Dust asked in confusion and no one had an answer and through the hole in the front door were a furious Lucifer and Lilith.
"Lilith... It's been like 10 thousand years..." Adam then managed to say to Lilith who glared at him as Lucifer then checked on Charlie, Vaggie and Lincoln with a concerned look.
"Wait... He's that Adam?" Lincoln asked eyes widened remembering his earlier comment along with Charlie. "What's happening?" Lincoln asked as Lucifer glared at the Exorcists.
"I activated a button... Given as part of the treaty to set up the Exterminations... If any of them ever broke the terms of the agreement... They should go before I fuck them!" Lucifer warned deadly as the Exorcists were open mouthed at him in fear.
"Uh Dad... I think you meant fuck them up..." Charlie whispered as the Exorcists and Adam then flew right out as Charlie shared a group hug.
"Are they going to come back?" Lincoln asked shaken as Lucifer then pulled them into an embrace.
"Not if I have something to say about it; I am going to need to give a call to the Heaven Embassy..." Lucifer said with deadly intent.
"Woah... That was fucking awesome..." Cherri said with glee about seeing the Exorcists in pain like that.
Sera was checking in on Emily as she was lying on her bed watching her TV; along with checking up with Archangel Azrael to make sure that Lincoln was still alive (she would be the one to know as she was the one who directed newly deceased souls to their new home after looking into their lives) she was spending her forced break catching up on TV that she had meant to check up on but was busy with her job.
"Seen anything good Emily?" Sera asked with a smile to her sister as Emily looked up with the TV paused; on Netflix as every resident on Heaven had access to every single streaming service ever created and all of the TV channels on Heaven and on Earth. Never having to pay as the Lord made it so.
"Heard a lot of good things about the Good Place... Quite funny but so far... I have some questions about Heaven as it's presented in the show... Plus thinking about the questions it raised..." Emily said as Sera saw that she was still in the middle of the first season. Not knowing about what is revealed in the first season.
Right now the Extermination was going off under the pretence of an annual patrol for possible threats in Hell by Heaven's guard (the official position of the Exorcists) and hopefully Lincoln will be found safe and sound soon.
Emily seemed to be doing better once she lets herself relax and when Adam retrieves Lincoln; she will be the first to hear of the good news...
Suddenly the special alarm in her office went off; one that hadn't been activated since Lucifer and Lilith's daughter was born over 200 years ago. One of the Exorcists thought to break the treaty by taking care of 'Lucifer's brat' and Lucifer was livid and had beheaded the Exorcist himself. He presented the head at the Embassy and Adam protested as Sera decreed that any retaliation against the breaking of the treaty on Heaven's end would go unpunished. Adam wasn't happy but Sera forced him to sign the terms there and had to warn the rest of the Exorcists about it.
"What is happening Sera?" Emily asked alarmed as Sera put on a fake smile.
"Just something in my office going off by mistake... Just enjoy your show and let me take care of it..." Sera assured her and then went out closing the door. Her fake smile dropped as she was feeling ready to down an entire bottle of wine without a glass with her thoughts being "what did you do Adam? I made my orders quite clear and were they not possible to carry out without breaking the treaty?"
I am not good or at least not great at writing fight scenes and Angel Dust and Cherri wouldn't have been able to do much progress in the fight without angelic weapons as they don't know about it being their weakness yet. Plus Prive is just a random OC of an Exorcist (short for 'private' like Lute is short for lieutenant). Plus yes the Exorcist that clashed with Vaggie here is Lute and because Vaggie wasn't an Exorcist in this verse; Lute isn't as personally angry at what she sees as a traitor. More amused by what she did.
