Sera got to her office and quickly made a portal to the Heaven Embassy where she sat at the desk and there was Adam coming in looking like he was worn out. Sera gave him a stern look and Adam said in a panicked tone "Sera... I know this looks bad but.. I swear that I was doing what you said... One of my girls said a sinner claimed that the kid was with Lucifer's daughter at this hotel... We found him there with the princess of Hell and... I was trying to reach out to take him and I legit did try and do it with just words... However something happened to the kid and well... Lute overreacted and striked first..."
"...Did you just say that Lucifer's daughter had him... But Lucifer said... What do you mean something happened to him?" Sera then retorted as she registered the words and then the doors opened with Lucifer slamming his way in. "Did you lie to my face when you told me that you would contact me if you found the child... I really did expect better of you old friend..." Sera said to Lucifer looking angry but Lucifer had a look of fury on his face before he calmed down.
"Okay... I know I wasn't one hundred percent honest but... Trust me it would have made things more complicated if you knew... I said I would tell you if we found a fully human child but Lincoln isn't fully human... And he never will be again..." Lucifer said producing papers out of magic and then slamming them on the desk.
"Mixing words with me... Isn't fully human?" Sera asked as Adam glanced at the papers and Sera looked at them the papers with wide eyes. "What are these?" Sera asked not knowing what to make of what they said.
"You said that the kid's sister was using that grimoire to try and summon me; well I asked Charlie to take care of it for me. Turned out that Lincoln tripped into the pentagram as it was going on while Charlie was teleporting in; his girlfriend got in the way and... He was sent to Charlie's hotel and got Belphegor to come over; us Sins call her 'Belle'... She's a lazy bitch but she's the smartest of us all and no one knows more about medical junk than her... Basically he got changed to half human and now he has an angel side with a hint of demon in his new half... Part of his soul... I even called Belle after finding out and she had these papers sent over... He has to stay to learn to control the power of his new half..." Lucifer then answered seating himself at the table as they went over the papers.
"Fuck... Does explain what I saw... Sera..." Adam then said as he looked up to Sera's surprised face at what she was looking at.
"Does look like his soul has been forever changed... Only the Lord would have hope of changing him fully human..." Sera then said as she then faced Lucifer who had a look of smug satisfaction to his face. "You could have at least told me Lucifer..." Sera said as Lucifer raised an eyebrow.
"And the risk of getting my new grandson taken from my family?" Lucifer retorted as they stared at him. "Yeah... His new half is Charlie and Vaggie's kid... They are as much his parents as his folks on Earth... He's even part of my family tree now." Lucifer said as Sera then found the detail saying that.
"Well shit... What do we do now Sera?" Adam asked at a lost for words as Sera was ready to scream up to the Heavens.
"I don't know... What am I supposed to tell Emily?" Sera asked fighting back her emotions before calming down. "I can't exactly fault you too much here Lucifer... Plus since the Exorcists did strike first technically... This year's Extermination is cancelled and they have been all recalled back to Heaven anyway..." Sera then said conceding as Lucifer had a bit of a smirk as Adam's face then fell more.
"My sinner kill count this year was only barely 3 digits..." Adam cried out as Sera gave him a stern look. "Okay fine... Better take care of the kid Lucifer... If you know what he's been through..." Adam said glaring wanting to give some shots at Lucifer before this meeting is over. Lucifer then gave a look.
"Do you mean that he gets treated unfairly by his family... Lilith heard things when she went to visit them and you let things slip when we last met Sera..." Lucifer then replied as Sera was taken aback and sighed.
"Yes... Well... Things could be quite unpleasant at him for his house... Why he was put down as needing a guardian angel in the first place..." Sera then said before clearing her breath. "You think that if your daughter and girlfriend are the parents for Lincoln in Hell... To discuss it they can be invited up to Heaven for a meeting?" Sera asked as Lucifer then stared at her.
"I can tell them but up to them and their new kid... He should have a say and be prepared if his opinion about you angels isn't so positive... From what I hear; he has been making himself at home in Hell. Made some friends at a party I held in my home." Lucifer then said with a smirk as Sera stared and Adam gritted his teeth.
"Watch what you do with one of my descendants Lucifer..." Adam warned as Lucifer chuckled.
"You say that but every year you lead an Extermination of your descendants. Ta-ta for now!" Lucifer said as he then made his way out.
Sera made a mental note to restock her wine fridge as soon as possible; she plans to down all of the bottles in there as soon as she gets back to her office.
Charlie fixed up the damage to the hotel with her magic as Vaggie checked on Lincoln on the couch. "Is everyone alright?" Charlie asked as there were mutters of agreement from everyone else. "As long as you are alright Lincoln; should have known that Heaven might not take it kindly if they find out that you were stuck down here..." Charlie said with a sigh as she went to Vaggie to check on him.
"At least your dad scared them off... All's well that ends well they say..." Lincoln said with a smile as Angel Dust looked at him.
"You know... Something that the Adam guy said... About you being kicked out of your house by some sore loser... Was he making shit up?" Angel Dust asked as Lincoln grew nervous and there were concerned looks on the faces of everyone.
"You see... In my house... We are expected to go to people's events and... I was feel burned out and my sister Lynn... She wanted me to go to her softball game and threatened me with a bat... She is usually got at sports but lost and I decided to take advantage for some alone time by pretending I was bad luck... I kept up the charade but I ended up being kicked out of my room and made to sleep outside for a time... Had to sneak into her next game in a squirrel suit to end it... I kind of had it coming..." Lincoln said as Charlie and Vaggie looked on in horror as Angel Dust glared.
"Kid... I kind of want to slap you for saying that you fucking had that coming... You wanted some alone time and you got kicked out of your fucking home by them? What the actual fuck?" Cherry then called out incredulously.
"Come on... It wasn't that bad... I was breaking stuff to make it look like I was bad luck..." Lincoln retorted as Vaggie looked stern.
"Lincoln; can you please try stop excusing what happened... Nothing excuses that... I am certain that it's illegal... Honestly between that and what you said about them not supporting your hobbies... I think you needed to be out of the house and put somewhere fucking safe!" Vaggie then told him as Lincoln was silent and still wanted to argue.
"I...I can't really argue Lincoln..." Charlie admitted with a reluctant sigh as Lincoln was still silent as he registered their words.
"It was bullshit what they did; that Lola girl wanted to throw me into the fire because she said that I wasn't worth anything to sell! Plus him being kicked out of his bedroom and not allowed to use the bathroom when that stupid Sister Fight Protocol was on... Honestly; they are insufferable at their worst... Don't get me started on Lori the oldest who made him date his bully for the crime of standing up for himself just because her boyfriend dumped her! He is better off cutting ties with her if you ask me!" Bun-Bun said with his arms folded standing up straight as they stared.
"Since when could you fucking talk? You have been acting like those goat pets ever since you came to life..." Angel Dust asked bewildered after a minute.
"You never asked and I didn't have anything to say before..." Bun-Bun said simply.
Then came in Lucifer through the door and came up to them; "Good news... Extermination this year is cancelled and you can expect no retaliation for what happened earlier... My bad as I got called about Lincoln being sent here by the head seraphim earlier and I wasn't exactly honest in what I said..." Lucifer said as they felt relieved.
"Wow... Take care everyone; have to go and see the state that my territory is in..." Cherri said with a grin as she then did a mock tip of the hat salute to Lucifer before going past. "Nice meeting ya; big dick in charge!" Cherri said as she then went past and Lucifer just stared behind him.
"Who the fuck was that?" Lucifer asked and then faced forward and came closer. "Okay... There is a caveat as... Sera... Old friend sort of... Head seraphim... She invited Charlie, Vaggie and Lincoln over... To discuss what what to do... About him I mean..." Lucifer then said as their eyes widened and Lincoln's mouth was wide open.
"Their terrifying masked angels coming crashing in and they want me up in the clouds to take me away?" Lincoln asked as Charlie went and pulled Lincoln into a fierce hug as he let go.
"Look... I said it was your choice and... I had it explained to Sera about how Lincoln IS part of my family... We had an agreement made when the Exterminations set up... Us royal family be left alone and you are that Lincoln." Lucifer then said assuring them.
"I for one think that it's both a shitty idea going up there with Link and a great one as well. Considering what happened; you could make a case for them supporting this hotel thing..." Angel Dust then said as Charlie's eyes widened.
"What... I mean I would love a meeting to discuss that but... This was to be focused on Lincoln! His safety and to help him is my current priority..." Charlie said firmly as Lincoln thought it over.
"Well if it's about me... We could put a foot in the door about the redemption thing... Say that I don't think I would be cooperative if they had dragged me away from my mums..." Lincoln said and then paused as what he said as this was caught by Charlie and Vaggie. Vaggie managed a small smile and Charlie's face lit up with joy as she hugged Lincoln fiercely. Lucifer then stared with a look on his face. "Did I really just say that..." Lincoln said surprised with himself as Angel Dust then went and patted him on the head.
"Toots and dollface here are your parents Link..." Angel Dust said as Lucifer grinned.
"Just want to say that... You could put forth your idea Charlie but I know that they are not gonna open up the gates to let a bunch of mistakes pretend that they got redeemed... No offence... Sinner whose name I forgot..." Lucifer said in a warning tone as Angel Dust just gave him a look and Charlie, Vaggie and Lincoln frowned at this. "Just be warned on that but don't worry about them trying to take Lincoln away from you... I doubt that the elders have forgotten that I'm the strongest of my siblings..." Lucifer then said as he got to the door.
"Are you going to come with us... Grandpa..." Lincoln managed to ask out loud to which Lucifer grinned but shook his head.
"Couldn't if I wanted to... When I got sent down here... It basically meant that Lilith and I can't come back there..." Lucifer answered before leaving through the door.
"So we have a meeting to go through... Maybe some TV will clear our minds..." Charlie said letting go of Lincoln and then putting on the TV.
"Breaking news in Hell... This year's Extermination Day is cancelled for the first time in over 200 years. All of the Exorcists have been called back to Heaven with a possible record low casualty rate and word is that Exorcists were sent after the royal prince Lincoln Morningstar!"
"Back in the news again Lincoln!" Bun-Bun said jumping up onto the couch and nudging Lincoln with his elbow.
