Meeting Deborah Thornberry
A few minutes later, a woman with blonde hair arrived in the coffee shop.
"Donnie, there you are," the woman exclaimed. "come on, it is time for you to come home for dinner and do your homework!"
"Aw, Debbie," Donnie said. "can't I do my homework here? I did make a new friend and she works here after all."
"Where is this new friend of yours?" Debbie asked.
"KK is with Chuck preparing my Finster Finster Shake." Donnie answered Debbie.
Debbie saw Kimi and Chuckie preparing their Finster Finster Shake and she immediately made her decision.
"One of those shakes does sound delicious to me too." Debbie said.
"Would you like me to order one for you, Debbie?" Donnie asked.
"No thank you, Donnie," Debbie said. "I'll order one myself."
Debbie walked up to the Java Lava counter.
"Hello, what may I get for you?" Chas asked Debbie.
"I too would like a Finster Finster Shake, please?" Debbie answered Chas.
"Kimi, Chuckie, another Finster Finster Shake for Miss... what is your name exactly?"
"Deborah Jenkins, but my maiden name is Thornberry," Debbie introduced. "but my family and friends call me Debbie."
Kimi nearly dropped the mango she was holding to the floor of the coffee shop, "You're the eldest daughter of the famous Nigel Thornberry! I watch reruns of his nature show all the time!" she exclaimed.
"That's me." Debbie said to Kimi.
"I'm Kimi Finster, or as Donnie calls me, KK," Kimi introduced. "and this is my brother, Chuck."
"Pleased to meet you." Debbie said.
After receiving their Finster Finster Shake orders to go, Debbie and Donnie went back home to where Debbie lived with her husband, Jonathan.
At the Finster residence, Chuckie and Kimi were doing their homework.
When the telephone rang.
"That could be Lil on the phone, I'll get it." Kimi said.
Kimi raced over to pick up the receiver.
But to her surprise, Kimi heard a very familiar voice.
"Hello, is Debbie Thornberry-Jenkins there?" the male voice asked.
