There is safety in numbers. Plus your Pokemon are in excellent condition you can take them with you."

As I said, Bliss is a game-changer for us. We will keep our training methods a secret for as long as possible. The girls got some new clothes, some female maintenance stuff, and some delicacy for our Pokemon.

We hired a closed indoor pool for our water Pokemon to relax in, our Magikarp and Feebas loved it, especially Dos, he felt his evolution closing in and appreciated these last two days out of his Pokeball so he could play with his friends. Nervous, Riza and Chari dipped their tail underwater and back up, the flame kept on burning! With a bit more confidence, they dipped it longer in the pool, surrounded by all the Water Pokemon, who watched closely. Riza and Chari kept on increasing the time for their tails to be submerged until it was over ten minutes.

Misty got their attention, "I guess for as long as you can breathe, your flame will keep on burning, I suspect it takes some energy from your body, eventually you will become tired. Now try to keep your tail down while holding your breath."

That was a different feeling, Chari and Riza felt the flame weakening and panicked, they took a deep breath to make the flame stronger. We could see that they were not comfortable anymore, there was a primal fear in their eyes.

"Again!" came Misty's voice, "you have to know how long you can stay underwater, you have to train it as Nurse Joy explained. You have to get used to that feeling and overcome your instinct."

After an hour of swimming lessons, Chari and Riza could swim with their tail held up high. It was doggy paddling, but that is how most Pokemon swim anyway. They started to have fun in the water and play with the others.
