The next morning Shirou felt a mix of emotions inside of him. One of them was nervousness at seeing Elena later that day. He couldn't explain it but something about her made him almost happy to see her. Maybe it was the break from the monotony that had been his life for the past few months since the war had ended, maybe it was the prospect of finding something that had belonged to Saber.

Saber….

He just realized as he was about to head out of the door that he didn't dream about her last night. It was odd for sure, that dream had been consistent almost every night since he said goodbye and tonight was the last time he could recall he hadn't dreamed about her.

The day went on as it usually did, with the only notable exception that Shirou noticed that Tohsaka was either avoiding or ignoring him. She barely glanced at him at the moments their paths crossed. Shirou figured she was still upset about last night's ordeal and her insistence on not trusting Elena. Part of him understood her reasoning yet the other half of him was shaken by Elena's words.

If what she said was true, if there was something out there and bad guys where after it then he couldn't take the risk and allow it to fall in their hands.

And so the day at school passed without incident. Shirou packed up and was ready to head home. He didn't spot Tohsaka anywhere so instead he just headed home all on his own. As he saw the entrance to his home he saw Elena Manadek standing there leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

She still looked the same as last night, her hair in the same style, very similar looking to Saber. It almost felt like he was looking at her almost mirror with the similar facial structure and hairstyle. The only difference was the hair and eye color. Her body type he wasn't sure if it was similar since she was covered by a very thick and long winter coat.

Shirou shook his heads to get that thought out of his head as he approached her.

Elena greeted him with a cheeky grin "you sure took your time" she said sarcastically.

Shirou sheepishly grinned and rubbed the back of his head "yeah sorry about that school was hectic. Are you ready to get going miss Mana…I mean Elena" he said quickly correcting himself.

The woman nodded "ready as I'll ever be. Let's do this" she said as the pair began to walk away from the house, not noticing how a short white haired young lady was watching them as they walked of.

Outside the hotel, the Four Kings where waiting with their luggage in hand. Argus was wearing a pair of round spectacles. Fallow's head was in a book. Dr. Richter was impatiently tapping his fingers and Gil was impatiently tapping his feet.

"Where is he!" Gil yelled out in annoyance.

"Patience Mr. Gil our ride will be here soon. Kerrion has never let me down before" Argus replied calmly.

"I still don't understand why you put so much faith into this idiot! He is a complete imbecile on every conceivable…AAAAHHH!"

Gil's words got stuck in his throat as he was suddenly taken over by a sharp pain as he looked and saw the end of Argus' cane embedded into his foot, Gil tumbled over on one knee and clutched his foot that was now stuck under the weight and pressure Argus was putting into the cane with both his hands.

"Watch your tongue or have it cut from your mouth Mr. Gil. You are a capable ally and I consider you a good friend but I will not tolerate this kind of insult about Kerrion. Is that clear?"

Gil looked up with gritted teeth and angry scowl. He couldn't see Argus' eyes behind his black tinted spectacles but he could feel his boss' deathly serious glare staring down upon him.

"Very clear my lord…" Gil said through gritted teeth.

Argus smiled and lifted his cane, setting Gil's foot free just as a car pulled up beside them. "Well would you like that, speak of the devil and he shall appear" the man said as he extended a hand to Gil to help him up, one he begrudgingly accepted.

"And you are correct Mr. Gil. Kerrion may not be the brightest of the bunch, but he is still my son and I won't have anyone speak of him like that."

The doors of the car opened and a young man stepped out. He looked to be in his early twenties with curly shoulder length black hair that looked wild and untamed, his eyes where green and he was dressed in a black leather jacket over a long sleeved red shirt and black leather pants.

Argus walked up to the young man with open arms "Kerrion my son so glad you could make it. I trust everything went smoothly over at the clock tower?" he asked before pulling his son in for an embrace, one which Kerrion warmly returned.

"It did father…although there were some….hiccups so to say" Kerrion said sheepishly as he looked to the ground.

"Like what?" Argus asked curiously.

Kerrion took a deep breath before holding his head up and saying "I got all the materials you asked for it's just that…El-Melloi was there and I think he might have been onto me…"

The rest watched as Argus' fist tightened around the head of his cane and he took in a deep breather before saying.

"El Melloi….meddling punk as always….no matter by the time he realizes what we took we'll be in the plane to our destination. Everyone get inside, we have flight to catch…"

With that command everyone loaded their luggage into the car and got in as Kerrion took the wheel and the ground headed off.
