School always went by so fast and before I knew it Friday was quick approaching, Klea and I had one class in the morning with Mr. Ruzek. We also had a test today it was our first one and I was a little bit nervous. Klea and I studied all week so I just hoped I was ready for it. After the class we would all be driving home. I was excited to bring Aria with us, she would be staying with Klea, Piper was going home for the weekend. I didn't know why Aria chose to come with me but I felt like it wasn't my place to ask. I knew I could ask Klea to ask her she was a nosey person but maybe it was personal. I knew going home meant the risk of running into Scarlett again but I was hoping she got the hint. I went to bed thinking about school work because I wanted to pass this test. I hated that I couldn't sleep like ugh what was wrong with me?
"Max everything okay?" Hunter asked, "fine" I said, "really dude because we can hear you thinking over here" he said, "Shut up" I said, "no seriously man are you okay?" Hunter asked, "yeah" I said I didn't need to tell him my problems, but honestly ever since that whole prophecy thing I have been scared. I wanted to talk to my dad about it I felt like he would understand but I needed to do it in person. I closed my eyes and prayed for the sleep gods to take me. Before I knew it my alarm was going off and I groaned, "he does this every time" Hunter said to Adam as if I couldn't hear him. "Cut him some slack he has a lot going on" Adam said. "Do you think he will get up or snooze it again?" Hunter said, "I can hear you I am not asleep" I said, "that is the point dude" Adam said and they both laughed as I covered my head with my pillow. There was a knock on our door and Adam opened it to Klea. "Hey love, I can't wait to go home, oh my god Max get up!" she said, this made me groan even louder. "He is processing the morning" Hunter said, I threw my pillow at him and he laughed. I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom down the hall, Klea waited for me. Neither Hunter nor Adam had class today, Klea and I had Mondays off and they had Fridays. I sort of wished we had Fridays off but I guess Monday was better than nothing.
"Ready for this test?" Klea asked me, "no" I replied I was so fucking tired and I had way to much shit on my mind. "Max, I know you hate this but are you sure you are okay?" she asked, "I am good Klea, just need to talk to my dad" I said, "alright" she replied as we walked into class and Mr. Ruzek had the tests already out. "Everyone you have 2 hours good luck" he said as the sound of tests being flipped over was all you could hear. I took a breath and flipped mine over. I was able to get the first 4 questions and then I was stuck, why couldn't I remember the fingerprint loops. Dammit I needed to calm down and remember what Klea and I studied. I skipped that question for now I knew it would come back to me I knew this stuff. I noticed the room was not as full how did people write so fast, "15 minutes left" I heard Mr. Ruzek say. I started to panic and I needed to finish this the only question I had left was the damn fingerprints. I closed my eyes and tried to sing Klea's damn song and then it hit me and I wrote it all down. I did it I was so happy, I handed the paper in, and Klea was outside. "How did you do?" she asked, "good I think, that damn fingerprint question got me then I remembered your little song" I said. "HA yes it worked!" she said and I laughed it sure did. We made it to our dorms and grabbed our things and headed to my car, "are you sure your parents don't want you to come home?" I asked Aria, "no they are busy plus its like a 5 hour plane ride so not close at all" she said. "Oh I had no idea" I said, "well there is a lot we don't know about each other" she said. "That is true" I said as we all climbed into my car and it was super full. "Well this will be tight" Klea whined from the back and I laughed, "you can stay behind" I said, "hell no" she said and we blasted music all the way home, I hated every time one of my mom's songs played and the girls sang it, I knew all the words too but I didn't sing. "I am so excited to meet your mom" Aria said, "I am excited for you too" I said knowing how much my mom would love her. She loved all her fans and Aria was well she might be my girlfriend I wanted her to be.
We were stuck in traffic and it was annoying, "ugh traffic" Klea whined she was so funny, like she read my mind. "We are moving slowly" Adam said, "too slow, Max can you go around?" Klea asked, "um no" I said and she whined even more. "So Max, tell me more about yourself" Aria said, "well I have 3 annoying sisters, and when I say annoying I mean it" I said. "I am sure they are not that bad, I am an only child so you are lucky to have siblings" she said. "Trust me you will see for yourself" I said, "my parents are just so buys" Aria said, "what do they do?" I asked, "my dad is a neurosurgeon and he works a lot, and my mom well she writes and my dad hates it" Aria said, "oh so she is an author?" I said, "not really she writes blogs. She wants to be an author but no one is buying her books" Aria said, "I see and you want to be a doctor because of your dad?" I asked, "no well sort of I wanted to be a singer but he squashed that dream" Aria said. "Oh I am sorry" I said, as the line started moving and we were close to Adventure Bay, we dropped off Hunter first and then Klea and Adam. Aria was coming with me for now, and I was glad my dad's car was home I really needed to talk to him.
