I loved being at home but I mean I loved school so much, fulfilling my dream was literally the best thing ever! Max was struggling and I mean what the hell was that even, what is this about the future? I know that I will help him no matter what happens but this all sounded so dumb to me. Adam did tell me that it could be true as there are people who can see the future but come on how did they know. Like how would this girl know her sister was going to get taken by this mystery killer? I was skeptical about it, but like I would follow my partners lead. Aria was now at my house, "so how was it?" I asked, "good he talked to his dad mostly and we barely talked at all" she said, "he will come around" I said, "his ex stopped by and after that he sort of just didn't do anything" I said. "She is so annoying like fuck her Aria you're way better. She can't take a hint" I said, "I know but like its hard I do like him but I can't just sit around and wait" she said, "I know I will talk to him in the meantime just keep your head up" I said. Aria nodded and we sat up the whole night talking, we would be going back tomorrow and I for one couldn't wait.
Something about being in Adventure Bay right now didn't feel right to me, I know Max wanted to work here in the future. I just for some reason felt like every time I was here something was going to go wrong. Max didn't have it easy and of course I was worried about him but was Scarlett really going to back off for good. I needed to do something about her once and for all. I knew we would be leaving at like 2 or something so I woke up and headed over to Scarlett's place. She was with Hallie no surprise there, "hey" I said walking up to them. "What the hell do you want?" Scarlett said, "I want to give you a warning, stop messing with Max's feelings, he has moved on and honestly you are just garbage" I said. "Fuck you and if I am messing with his feelings so much then he obviously hasn't moved on? I am not going to give up on him and I am not afraid of you" she said, "I would be just stay away from him" I said walking away. If I so much as saw her again I would make her suffer and she knew that deep down. I had ways to get her into trouble without even batting and eyelash or anything, she would not know what hit her.
I stopped at Max's house next, "hey Klea" Orianna said opening the door, "where is Max?" I asked, "still sleeping" Lynne said, and I laughed he really did need it though his sleep sucked in Toronto. I sat with his family, "how are you liking school?" Chase asked, "I love it!" I said, "Max does too, I mean I never thought you too would be doing this together" he said. "I could never imagine doing it without Max" I said, "he says the same thing you are his partner in crime as he calls it" Chase said, "yup, we are hoping to take over for you one day" I said. "Well I am happy to teach you all and I could definitely use the help" Chase said, as his phone rang, "Detective Chapman" he answered, I so badly wanted to know what was going on. I wanted to go with him and help but I knew I wasn't going to be able too. Max finally made is way downstairs, and Aria, Hunter and Adam were all here now too. "I am sorry are you all waiting for me?" he asked, "not really" I said we were enjoying his family I know he hated his sisters most of the time but they were pretty cool. "Max are you leaving?" Lynne asked, "yeah we have school" he said and Lynne didn't like that as she hugged him tight. "I will be back for thanksgiving" he said, "that is like forever" Leila whined. Skye laughed and said, "it's a few weeks, Max please stay out of trouble for me please" Skye said. "I will mom" he said, "you say that but I worry so much for you" she said, "I will keep and eye on him Mrs. Chapman" I said, "Thank you Klea, and Aria it was really nice to meet you. I don't want you to give up on your dream" she said, "thanks I won't" Aria said and I wondered what her dream was. I mean she was going to medical school to be a doctor I know that was her father's dream. "Max can I ask you something?" I said, "sure" he said as we climbed into his car. "Are you actually over Scarlett?" I said, "no offence Klea but I don't want to talk about her" he said. "I know I get that but are you over her?" I asked again, "I don't know" he said and I saw the look on Aria's face. I mean damn this girl, she needed to stay away from my friend. I couldn't let her take over his head anymore, Aria was much better for him and I happened to like her. I just hoped she listened because Max really didn't need this. As we drove back we ended up getting stuck in traffic, "woah look at that" Adam said and we all looked, there was a man with a gun trying to hijack a car, Max locked the doors I heard it.
This man was only a few cars in front of us and he managed to pull a woman out and took off in her car. He drove onto the side of the road and around all the traffic, I heard the police cars and the ambulance. I mean I wanted to jump into action but I knew we would most likely just end up getting hurt. "That was crazy" Aria said, "I hope they catch him" Hunter said, "they will" Max said, "how do you know?" he said, "that is my dad's car" Max said as Chase's cruiser passed them and I smiled. I mean he really was involved in everything and just think in a year this could be Max and I and I for one couldn't wait to be just like my hero.
