Haley woke up in the morning with a huge smile on her face, she checked her phone for any news messages when she got a message from Nathan saying " good morning, i hope your excited for our date " with a winky face, Haley giggled she couldn't be more excited.

Haley groaned loudly standing in front of her closet she didn't have anything to wear! seeing that this a fashion emergency she decided to call the one and only .

minutes later haley heard a loud bang coming from her door she opened the door and was meet with a happy Brooke Davis " you have a date!! with who?? Tell me while we get ready! " Brooke said as she grabbed Haleys arm dragging her to the bedroom.

" first who is he? " Brooke narrowed her eyes at Haley who pretended not to hear her " Haley James! Your going out with Nathan! " Haleys eyes widened how did she know?! " please dont tell Luke " Haley begged as she walked towards brooke

" you and Nathan!! your so going to make cute babies " Brooke said in an awe " woah tiger we're just going on a date "

" I know but i totally see you having his kids " Brooke smirked at haley who shook her head in disbelief " enough talking about our kids and lets get me ready! "

an hour after " no brooke! " and " my boobs are practically out! " " so what? You have nice boobs" Haley James finally decided on an outfit, she was wearing a dark washed denim short skirt that reaches mid thigh and a black off shoulder top.

" tutor girl you look hot! Nathan wouldn't know what hit him " Brooke smiled at her best friend as she walked towards the door " thank you Brooke for your help and thank you for not telling Lucas " Haley hugged her best friend tightly

" your welcome hales anytime! Now i gotta go bye! " Brooke said as she left Haley who was now pacing around in her living room nervous but excited about her date with Nathan in an hour.

Across town Nathan was pacing around in his room trying to pick the perfect fit to wear for his date with haley.

Haley . He smiled at the thought of the beautiful brunette, he glanced at the clock and realized it was now six!

Finally after deciding on a baby blue rolled up shirt and black pants Nathan went to his car, driving towards Haleys apartment he spotted a flower shop called ' Mel's flower shop ' smiling to himself Nathan parked in front of it . He got out and walked towards it .

Opening the door Nathan was greeted by a smiling old lady he assumed was Mel " welcome to Mel's flowers how may i help you? " The old woman greeted him warmly

" hi, may i have some of these purple flowers please? " Nathan asked politely smiling when the woman nodded " of course, these are called Aster in greek meaning Star According to Greek legend they were formed when the Astraea, the 'Starry Maid', cried when she saw there were no stars upon the earth, the flowers then sprouted from her tears. " The old woman smiled at Nathan handing him the bouquet of flowers .

" coming! " Haley said as she walked towards the door opening it she was met with Nathan standing holding a bouquet of the purple flowers she adored " hi " she said her lower lip between her teeth " hey, you look beautiful " Nathan said as he kissed her cheek smiling to himself when haley blushed

" Thank you, you dont look bad yourself " She winked at him while he just chuckled " oh these are for you " He said handing her the bouquet

" oh Nathan they're gorgeous! How did you know their my favorites? " Haley looked at him in awe smiling from ear to ear " i kinda of listen to you when you ramble hales " Nathan chuckled when she blushed

" and then i- " Nathan turned to look at Haley who stopped talking " what's wrong? " he asked

" look at these flowers! They're my favorites " Haley said as she stood in front of a flower garden "You know, there's just something about purple flowers that makes me want to go on and on about how beautiful they are. I mean, think about it – when you see a field of lavender, it's like stepping into a dream, right? The way those little purple buds sway in the breeze, giving off that calming scent, it just pulls you in. And the shades! Oh, the shades of purple! From deep, rich violets to the softest lavenders, It's almost like each flower is a little piece of art, inviting you to stop and appreciate the beauty around you. Plus, there's all this meaning behind them, too. They symbolize love and admiration, which just adds another layer to their beauty. I could go on forever about how stunning they are and how they bring such a sense of peace and joy. Purple flowers really are something special! " Haley rambled on as Nathan kept thinking how someone could talk fast and passionate about flowers like Haley James did . That's what he loved about her, how she can ramble about anything she loves and doesn't care what people think .

" ready to go? " Nathan asked " yeah just let me put these in water " Nathan nodded and waited for haley who went to the kitchen to place the flowers in water " lets go " she said when she came back linking her arms around Nathans, he smiled at the gesture.

Arriving at his car Nathan opened the passenger door for haley like a gentleman she thanked him blushing he just smiled and went to his side .

" Nathan! The place looks expensive " Haley said when they pulled up " don't worry about it hales, lets just enjoy our date okay? " Haley nodded smiled when she noticed Nathan getting out of his car quickly to open the door for her " your being a gentleman today Mr Scott " Haley laughed when she saw his smirk, they walked towards the waiter who greeted them " reservation under Scott "

" oh yes Mr Scott we've been expecting you, follow me " Nathan took Haleys hand intertwining it with his, she smiled at him .

" Nathan where is he taking us? " haley whispered to Nathan who shrugged innocently a smirk planted on his face " you'll see " the waiter opened a door towards a beautiful garden that only had five tables, he led them to one of the tables that overlooked the river .

" here is your table Mr Scott " the waiter said as Nathan thanked him and turned to pull the chair out for a shocked haley, she smiled at him and sat down grabbing his hand when he sat across from her .

" Nathan this is beautiful thank you " Haley said while Nathan just smiled at her. How can she be this happy at something as simple as this? He would never know .

" so what do you wanna get? " Nathan asked as he opened his menu " oh! They have mac and cheese im so going to get it " Haley giggled while Nathan just shook his head laughing at her " Mac and cheese hales really? "

"oh shut up your probably going to get prime rib " Nathan just shrugged his shoulders, the waiter came and took their orders and left .

" you look beautiful tonight " Nathan smiled at a blushing haley and held her hand across the table " stop it "

" what? " he laughed " your making me blush! " haley whispered " so? I love your blush" Nathan smirked when haley blushed deeply " your so charming aren't you? "

" I know " Nathan smirked " okay enough of feeding your ego how about we actually eat " haley said when the waiter came placing the food .

while eating they kept talking and laughing about everything and anything they both realized how comfortable they were with each other. After eating Nathan asked for the bill when the waiter came and placed the bill on the table haley snatched it before Nathan took it " Haley " Nathan said sternly " what? " she said incorrectly as she reached for her purse looking for her wallet " hales give me the bill please "

" no im paying " Haley said stubbornly looking for her wallet " Haley Im taking you out so i get to pay now give me the bill " Nathan said as reached across the table to grab it from her hand " i said no " Haley said as she finally got her wallet, she looked at Nathan confused when he got up and walked. Haley saw the waiter she called out to him " yes ma'am? "

" i would like to pay " haley said as the waiter looked at her nervously " what's wrong? " she asked him " uh Mr Scott paid for your guys dinner " The waiter said turning around and walking away leaving haley shocked.

Nathan smirked standing in front of his car he saw haley walking towards him " you paid! "

" i told you im not letting you pay now come on lets go to our second place " Nathan said opening the door to haley

They walked in silence at the park holding hands and smiling at each other from time to time when haley spotted a carnival " Nathan look! Lets go " Haley said running as she pulled a laughing Nathan with her .

They walked towards the ticket booth and haley gave up on paying since Nathan is always one step ahead, handing haley her tickets they started looking around at games . Haley spotted a basketball game and pulled Nathan towards it " win me something Scott " Nathan smirked at her and paid for three balls, he started to throwing getting every single basket winning a purple teddy bear for haley .

" hey! That's cheating he's a basketball player " a young man said next to Nathan who laughed " sorry kid but I gotta win " Nathan said as handed an excited haley the teddy bear .

" she's so cute! " Haley said hugging the teddy bear " your cute " Nathan smiled holding Haleys hand .

after playing for a while and Haley winning Nathan a hornets clamming he should have one since he was now playing for the charlotte hornets, Haley spotted a Photo Booth and pulled Nathan inside it . She closed the curtain and sat on his lap, Nathan tried to act nonchalant .

" come on lets be funny " Haley giggled as the shot captured them being funny together, after thinking Nathan kissed Haleys cheek in the second shot capturing a blushing haley, haley turned to look at Nathan leaning down she kissed him on the cheek the third shot captured Nathan smiling while blushing, when it was time for the last shot haley grabbed Nathans face catching him by surprise and kissing him on his lips passionately , Nathan closed his eyes and kissed her back .

When air became an issue they pulled away panting " woah " haley nodded not trusting herself to speak after the incredible kiss they just shared " what was that for? " Nathan questioned " a thank you for this amazing date "

" then im taking you out everyday " Haley giggled and got up from his lap, Nathan took the pictures they just took and smiled at haley . " wait here don't go anywhere and don't see the photo when it comes out " Haley said as she sat on the photo booth again alone she closed the curtain .

She got out of the photo booth taking her pictures and putting it in Nathans back pocket, standing on her tip toes she whispered in his ear " see it when you go home " and walked away towards his car while hugging her teddy bear.

Nathan wrapped his arms around her waist " i had fun tonight Nathan thank you " Haley said wrapping her arms around his neck " i had fun too and thank you for winning me this hornet " Haley giggled as Nathan leaned down kissing her .

" goodnight hales " he whispered when they pulled apart kissing her cheek haley blushed pulling her lower lip between her teeth she closed her door .

When Nathan arrived home he remember the pictures haley took when she was alone, reaching for his back pocket he pulled the photos and-

Nathans eyes widened when he saw that she took her last picture topless with just her bra on .

Haley James would be the death of him .
