Finishing a phone call, the woman goes back to the bench to watch a video.
Then along comes a spider. It's small, yellow, has four blue-tipped legs, and two bright blue dots on its back with gleeful blue eyes narrowed in on her form. Thing is, it keeps creeping up on her every time the brunette looks away, and when she catches the little blighter red-tipped, the joltik defiantly stares back and shakes its tiny mandible! It only had the one, strangely.
Ever closer it scurries, so she tells the cutie that it's fine, just not to get on her. At that permission, the tiny spider hops close to the mask which she'd left on the table to give her a fiercely wiggling mandible, as if to say, "I just wanna hitch a ride!" Hazel snorts and responds to the wiggling with a sound,"Nope! I'm not taking you home with me, so not on me." So the teensy spider crosses the cloth loops, hops on, and watches the rest of the video with her.
Once the clip ends, it turns back around to once again madly wave about its single mandible, jumping closer to the end of the table whilst contemplating ignoring the female's demands, all before inching along the edge and hiding on the table's underside. The woman pauses her video for a moment, making sure the spider didn't just use her moment of inattention to land on her shirt, but no. 'Tis underneath the tabletop. Giving the joltik the ole "I'm watching you" hand sign, Hazel turns back to her device to binge another video, this time of a group of growlithes trained to bark to the tune of "Happy Birthday"!.
Two clips later, her eyes spot the yellow spider had planted itself on her dark grey shirt! "Would you get off? I told you, not on me! Not even subtle," she complains to the small arachnid. Joltik ignores her, knowing she wasn't about to swat the teensy pokemon away. Having completed its objective, the spider then crawls up up up until it's nearly to Hazel's shoulder.
She grabs a packaged red-and-white mint from her pocket to prod at the fuzzy arachnid. Instead of latching on, the joltik startles. Launching itself closer to her neck, Hazel tries again to "capture" the wee spider. Deciding its had enough of playtime, Joltik turns to give her a glee-filled wave before the arachnid does what only a stuntman would and dives off, string attached to her collar, ensuring a safe plop on the concrete floor.
