Hello, everyone in internet-land! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the first-ever crossover between the Ratchet & Clank video game franchise, and the magical-girl/superhero cartoon series, Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir! It's called Ratchet & Clank: Miraculous Defenders! It's set in an AU where Marinette and Adrien are aware of each others' secret identities as Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively. Same goes for the other members of the French Miraculous Superhero Team, and the Bee Miraculous has rejected Chloe, and is now in the ownership of Chloe's maternal half-sister, Zoe. However, the French Miraculous Superhero Team has a close encounter of the wild kind, when they meet actual aliens in the form of Ratchet and his friend, Clank. Meanwhile, Dr. Nefarious has sided with Hawk-Moth and another evil Miraculous User in an attempt for world domination. Now, Ratchet and Clank, alongside their allies, team up with Marinette, Adrien and co. in stopping the union of Hawk Moth and Dr. Nefarious. Along the way, Adrien is busy mustering up the courage to admit his feelings for Marinette, while Ratchet finds himself falling in love with Rivet, a Lombax from Nefarious City in another dimension. Chapter 1: Welcome To Earth!
Location: Aleero City, Kerwan
The Solana Galaxy
We find ourselves in a futuristic city, on an alien planet, where we see a humanoid alien that had a bobcat-like appearance with yellow fur, pointy ears with brown stripes, large hands, clawed feet, a tufted tail, and green-colored eyes who was dressed in a tight orange and brown shirt with a green logo on it, gloves, boots and dark pants with knee-pads on them. And with him was a humanoid robot that was shorter than him, who was silver with green eyes, a red antenna, and small, articulated limbs with three-fingered hands and feet, while having an amber-colored right arm. The alien was Ratchet, whereas the robot was Warbot Defect XJ0461, AKA Clank. Ratchet was one of several surviving members of a species of feline aliens called a Lombax, from the planet Fastoon, however, Emperor Percival Tachyon had started a Lombax genocide campaign, which resulted in several of Ratchet's kinsmen either dead or in exile. Ratchet was raised on Veldin by Grimmoth Razz, AKA Grim, as a mechanic, and aspired to become one of the next Galactic Rangers, however, when he tried out, he was rejected due to his inexperience as a fighter and his numerous legal citations, such as owning an illegal gravity-repulsor, operating an accelerator he purchased from the black-market, and wilful disruption of the space-time continuum. Ratchet felt as if his foster father was right: dream smaller, it would lead to less disappointment. Meanwhile, on Quartu, Chairman Drek had commissioned the former scientist of the Galactic Rangers, Doctor Nefarious. Nefarious had created three-hundred heavily-armed warbots with Raritanium Alloy, making them immune to the elements, however while producing them, a power-surge had occurred, resulting in the creation of a defective robot who was small but intelligent. The defect being Clank, who was being tailed by Drek's right-hand-man, Victor von Ion. Clank escaped to Veldin, where he crash-landed at the Kyzil Plateau, where he met Ratchet. Ratchet fixed Clank up, and they traveled to Aleero City to warn the Galactic Rangers of what Drek was planning to do. After thwarting Drek's assassination attempt on the Galactic Rangers, Ratchet was made a member of the team, and given a protosuit, allowing Ratchet to access and switch out several weapons. With Ratchet joining Brax Lectrus and Cora Veralux on the front-lines whereas Clank helped out Elaris with mission-support. The leader of the Galactic Rangers, Captain Copernicus Leslie Qwark was becoming increasingly jealous of Ratchet's newfound fame as a hero, and reluctantly joined Drek's group aboard the Deplanetizer, where Drek was destroying planets and stealing pieces of them to make a new Planet Quartu, after the old one was rendered uninhabitable due to over-pollution. Clank managed to defeat Victor by exposing him to water through usage of the Thunder Smack, a weapon that can create storm clouds, and made Victor rust over. After learning of Qwark's betrayal, Ratchet left and went back to Veldin, but was cheered up by Grim, Brax, Elaris and Cora, and the gang went back to the Deplanetizer, and Ratchet managed to knock some sense into Qwark by whaling on him with nearly every weapon, until Dr. Nefarious planned to destroy the entire Solana Galaxy using the Deplanetizer to create an artificial supernova to wipe the entire galaxy off the map. After a fight, Ratchet had defeated Nefarious, and returned home a hero, with Qwark unfortunately serving time in prison for his hand in Drek's plan, whereas the Deplanetizer's beam had atomized Drek while he was on New Quartu. Ratchet and Clank have encountered Nefarious on several other occasions, revealing that the not-so-good doctor's Repair-Bots had repaired Nefarious's body, turning him into a robot in the process. The duo even encountered several allies such as Angela Cross, a female Lombax, Al, a robotics expert, Talwyn Apogee, a Markazian explorer who was the daughter of Max Apogee, and Rivet, a female Lombax from an alternate universe where Dr. Nefarious was a dictator known as Emperor Nefarious, as well as Kit, a warbot who formerly worked for Emperor Nefarious, but became Rivet's ally. They faced off against the likes of Nefarious, Klunk, Emperor Tachyon, Gleeman Vox, Otto Destruct, Stuart Zurgo, Loki Master, Romulus Slag, and even Alister Azimuth, a Lombax who wanted to save his and Ratchet's species, even risking the destruction of the universe by using the Great Clock in an attempt to reverse time and save the Lombax species from extinction, but sacrificed himself to fix it. Clank was different because he possessed the soul of a Zoni, granting him time-manipulation, thanks to his father, Orvus.
"We've been through one helluva wild-ride, bud." said Ratchet, as he took a sip of water. "We've been to other worlds, and even other dimensions, and fought a lot of bad-guys."
"Indeed, Ratchet." said Clank, acknowledging this
"I wonder how Rivet and Kit are doing?" Ratchet inquired, curious on how Rivet and her robot buddy, KT-7461, AKA Kit were fairing. "I hope they're doing alright."
"They are." said Clank, confirming this.
"I wonder if there are other Lombaxes like me, Angela and Rivet?" Ratchet inquired, wondering if there were more like him.
Ratchet's question was answered, as meanwhile, we see a male Lombax who has blue-gray fur with indigo-blue tiger-stripes, indigo-blue hair, and heterochromatic eyes, with an apple-green right eye, and a cyan-blue left eye, dressed in futuristic armor with a helmeted mask. This was Gadget, a Lombax who survived his species' genocide at the hands of Emperor Tachyon. He and his older sister, Gizmo, were freedom-fighters who looked out for the little-guy. He had a robot attached to his back known as PK-4709, otherwise named Rusty, who was a rogue war-robot who was around Clank's height, who could transform into a giant warbot like Kit. Rusty developed a moral compass when he was about to murder a family, and defected to the side of good.
"One step closer to making sure Nefarious is locked up forever." said Gadget, sounding like Roark "Rocky" Rickaby from Lackadaisy mixed with Serial-Designation N from Murder Drones and Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus, as he was determined to make sure that Nefarious was spending life in jail.
"Couldn't agree more, Gadget." said Rusty, smiling at his friend. Gadget managed to steal a USB drive, and managed to sneak out. They looked to see some remaining Warbots roaming the area.
'Scrap.' Gadget muttered in his mind, as he took out a futuristic sniper-rifle. He then loaded a pulse-round into the weapon, and took aim. The rifle's bio-scope had targeted the warbot's head, and he pulled the trigger, scoring a headshot. His helmet also had a targeting system in the right eye, and he loaded another pulse-round into his sniper-rifle, and shot another warbot in the head, rinse and repeat. He then managed to escape back to his ship.
"Another operation complete, Sis." said Gadget, as he took his helmet off. A female Lombax who looked had the same fur-color as Gadget, but with a golden-yellow left eye and a silver right eye, and a fluffy tail was at the video screen. This was Gizmo.
"Great job, Gadget. Time we returned to base." said Gizmo, sounding like Loona from Helluva Boss. Gadget then flew off on his ship.
Meanwhile, as Ratchet & Clank were doing maintenance on their ship, the Aphelion, they were getting a distress signal from a far-off planet. So, the Lombax and his robot buddy boarded their ship, and took off. However, they saw a kind of wormhole.
"What the heck!?" Ratchet blurted out, as he tried to pull his ship out. "Did Nefarious manage to recreate the Dimensionator and weaponize it?!"
"Our engines are going haywire!" Clank gulped, eyes wide as the Aphelion was pulled through a dimensional portal. Ratchet and Clank yelped as they were pulled in, alongside Qwark, Rivet, Kit, Angela, Gadget, Gizmo, and Rusty.
Location: Francoise Dupont High School
Paris, France
It shows a high-school located in Paris, the City of Love, where we see a young Eurasian girl with fair complexion, with black hair tied back in pigtails, and blue eyes, wearing a dark-gray blazer over a white shirt, jeans, and pink ballet flats, and she wore a set of earrings on both her ears. This was Marinette Dupain-Cheng, an aspiring fashion designer. Marinette was born to a French father and a Chinese mother, and lived a relatively-normal life, until she was given earrings by a man named Wang Fu. These earrings were actually a part of the Chinese Miracle Box, in this case, they were the Ladybug Miraculous, which harnesses the power of Creation. Marinette's secret crush, Adrien Agreste was given the Cat Miraculous, which harnessed the power of Destruction. With the Ladybug Miraculous, Marinette became known as Ladybug, whereas Adrien was Cat Noir. Adrien and Marinette knew of eachother's identities as superheroes. A majority of Adrien and Marinette's classmates were given Miraculouses as well, with Marinette's friend, Alya Cesaire using the Fox Miraculous to become Rena Rouge, Adrien's best friend, Nino using the Turtle Miraculous to become Carapace, Luka Couffaine using the Snake Miraculous to become Viperion, Luka's sister Juleka used the Tiger Miraculous to become Purple Tigress, Rose Lavillante used the Pig Miraculous to become Pigella, Max Kante used the Horse Miraculous to become Pegasus, Alix Kubdel used the Rabbit Miraculous to become Bunnyx, Le Chien Kim used the Monkey Miraculous to become King Monkey, Sabrina Raincomprix used the Dog Miraculous to become Miss Hound, Marc Anciel used the Rooster Miraculous to become Rooster Bold, Nathaniel Kurtzberg used the Goat Miraculous to become CapriKid, Ivan Bruel used the Ox Miraculous to become Minotaurix, Kagami Tsurugi used the Dragon Miraculous to become Ryuko, Adrien's cousin, Felix Fathom, used the Peacock Miraculous to become Argus, and Zoe Lee used the Bee Miraculous to become Vesperia.
The Bee Miraculous used to belong to Zoe's maternal half-sister, Chloe Bourgeois, who became Queen Bee, but she was deemed unworthy due to her bullying nature. Marinette, Adrien and co. used their abilities as Miraculous heroes to defend their fellow Parisians from Hawk Moth and his Akumatized Villains, unknown to the fact that Hawk Moth was actually Adrien's father, Gabriel.
"Barely any Hawk Moth-related incidents, lately." said Marinette, as she was with her Kwami, Tikki. She also was with Alya and her Kwami, Trixx.
Alya was a Martinican Creole-French girl with a curvaceous body. She has heart-shaped lips, grayish gold eyes, and a mole above her forehead. Her hair is wavy and reddish-brown ombre, growing slightly past her shoulders and having brilliant tangelo tips. She wore black horn-rimmed glasses, with a white spot on each side. Her outfit consists of a white tank top underneath a short-sleeved plaid shirt with white, beige, orange, and purple stripes; light blue jeans, and white sneakers with black tops. She wears brilliant crimson lipstick. She wore a charm-necklace that was the Fox Miraculous. Tikki was a Kwami colored like a ladybug, whereas Trixx was a Kwami based on a fox.
"Oh, hey guys!" said a voice, as Adrien arrived with Luka.
Adrien was a fair-skinned boy with blonde hair and green eyes, with his hair being swept to the right. He wore a white button-down jacket with an upturned collar and sleeves rolled up above his elbow, which he keeps unbuttoned. Underneath, he wears a black t-shirt with five horizontal stripes around the chest, which are colored, from top to bottom, yellow, brown, bright green, navy blue, and purple. He wears blue jeans and orange sneakers with white laces, and a logo of a black butterfly in a circle on the sides. He wore a silver ring on his finger, which was the Cat Miraculous.
Luka was a young man who had a Roman nose, pale pink lips, luminous cyan colored eyes, and medium-length black hair that had dyed cyan tips. His attire was composed of a white t-shirt with a black Jagged Stone imprint and black jeans ripped at the knee. On his right wrist, he also wore a brown leather bracelet, yellow and orange wristbands, and his fingernails are painted black. He had a grayish cerulean denim jacket with a strong blue elbow-length sleeved hooded cardigan underneath, as well as black high-top converse sneakers with different colored patterns. He wears a black ring with silver outlining on his left index finger and black earrings in his ears. He wore the Snake Miraculous, which was an Ouroboros bracelet.
"Hey, guys. Wassup?" Alya asked, curious.
"We're getting a new student here, who moved from Salmon Bay, Washington." said Adrien. "He's Native-American."
"His name is Jackson Rowe." said Luka. They heard footsteps, and looked to see the young man in question.
Jackson, in appearance, was a young man of Native American descent. He had copper skin, black hair styled in a fusion of Kyo Kusanagi from The King Of Fighters and Mercury Black from RWBY, and apple-green colored eyes with a lean physique. He wore an indigo-blue jacket similar to the one worn by Yozora from Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind, over a t-shirt themed after Ultraman Zero, blue-gray street jeans, indigo-blue fingerless driving gloves, and white sneakers. The only piece of jewelry on his person was a Native American men's tribal necklace with six black-colored beads and a steel wolf's tooth.
"Hi there. My name is Jackson Rowe." said Jackson, introducing himself as he sounded like Cloud Strife. "I'm a member of the Akomish tribe, and my family and I moved here from Salmon Bay, Washington."
"It's a pleasure. My name's Marinette Dupain-Cheng. This is my friend, Alya Cesaire, and our friends, Adrien Agreste and Luka Couffaine-Stone." said Marinette, introducing herself and her friends.
"So, this Jackson guy, that necklace he's got is no ordinary necklace, is it?" said Adrien's cousin, Felix. Felix almost looked similar to Adrien, but he was dressed in formal attire. He was speaking to his Kwami, Dusuu. He was also with Adrien and Marinette.
"No, it's a part of the Native American Miracle Box." said Dusuu, revealing this "It's the Wolf Miraculous, which harnesses the power of Instinct."
"So, he was given a Miraculous by that Native American monk from our school trip to New York City?" said Adrien, stunned to learn this.
"Yeah." said a voice, as Jackson arrived with a small wolf-like Kwami. "I go by Alpha Wolf. This is my Kwami and little buddy, Howwl."
"Hello there." said Howwl, sounding like L'Arc Berg Sickle from Rising Of The Shield Hero.
Meanwhile, in an observatory, we look to see a man who had neatly-combed gray hair and cerulean gray eyes who wore black framed silver glasses, a white high-collar dress-shirt underneath a medium-gray striped vest with red buttons, and a cream colored dress-jacket without buttons, a red and white striped ascot tie, red pants, and white dress shoes. This was Gabriel Agreste, originally known as Gabi Grassete. Gabriel used the Butterfly Miraculous to become an evil Miraculous User known as Hawk Moth. Gabriel wanted to use the Miraculouses of the Ladybug and Cat to revive his deceased wife, unaware that there had to be something given up in exchange for his wish. To this end, Gabriel, as Hawk-Moth, used the power of the Butterfly Miraculous to turn people with intense negative emotions such as sorrow, frustration, anger, etc., into Akumatized Villains, allowing them to accomplish their goals in exchange for bringing him the Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses.
"Master, at the rate things are going, you'll only succeed in driving away everyone you know and care about, your son included!" said Gabriel's Kwami, Nooroo, as he faced Gabriel with a worried look.
"If it means being reunited with her… I'll gladly sell my soul." said Gabriel.

"Nooroo, gimme a beat." said Gabriel, as he snapped his fingers, as music began to play, and Gabriel started singing.

With that, Gabriel then transformed into his Miraculous Villain alias, Hawk Moth. As Hawk Moth, Gabriel wore a high dark purple dress shirt without a collar, over which he wore a darker purple jacket with a black butterfly-shaped lapel. The Butterfly Miraculous was placed on the center of his chest. He also wore dress pants, in the same shade of the jacket, and black gloves and dress shoes without laces. He also wore a silver/gray cowl over the majority of his face and neck.
🎶 This rotten little cat and that pesky little girl
Once I have their Miraculous then I'll rule the world
I will win and I will rise,
All of Paris, Akumatized!

"That's not how the powers should be used!" said Nooroo, as he poked his head out of the Butterfly Miraculous, only for Hawk Moth to jam him back into the Butterfly Miraculous.
"Nooroo, lemme break it down for you." said Hawk-Moth, as he resumed singing.
🎶 They do not know the power, they waste preventing crime
Soon will come my hour, soon it's Hawk Moth's time!
These heroes are a joke
But while they play their silly games
My plan goes into action to learn their real names

With that, Hawk Moth then burst into maniacal laughter. He then looked to see a man in motocross attire sipping draft beer. The man was Ricardo Beaumont, a French-Canadian motocross racer known for pulling off incredible stunts, but was falsely accused of illegally using nitromethane fuel in his bike, and was barred from the competition. A pure-white butterfly flew into Hawk Moth's hand, before he then corrupted it with dark energy.
"Go forth, my little Akuma, and Evilize him!" said Hawk-Moth, as he then sent the Akuma flying out of the repository. The Akuma fluttered off, and came into contact with Ricardo's dirt bike, as an image of Hawk Moth's mask appeared on Ricardo's face.
"Hawk Moth is my name, and Road-Hog is yours." said Hawk Moth, speaking to Ricardo. "You wish to clear your name, and rejoin the motocross circuit? All you need to do is bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses!"
"Whatever you say, Hawk Moth." said Ricardo, as a dark aether began coating Ricardo's body and motorcycle, turning him into a wild boar/orc/biker like Akumatized Villain. He then climbed onto his transformed bike, and drove off.
Meanwhile, it showed Marinette with Adrien, Luka, Alya, and Jackson at the park, until they looked to see Road Hog causing mayhem in Paris.
"Crap. Hawk Moth's at it again." said Adrien, annoyed.
"Time to hero up, guys!" said Alya, determined.
"Couldn't agree more." said Marinette.
(BGM: "Miraculous Transformation Theme" Plays)
"Tikki, Spots On!" said Marinette, as Tikki then flew into her earrings, turning them red with black polkadots. Marinette now wore a red suit with black polka-dots with a matching mask. This was her superhero alias, Ladybug.
"Plagg, Claws Out!" said Adrien, as his Kwami, Plagg flew into his ring, which was the Cat Miraculous. Adrien now wore a mask that turned his eyes green with yellow-green sclera, and wore a black costume. He had cat-ears on the top of his head, and a fake 'tail'. This was his superhero form, Cat Noir.
"Trixx, Let's Pounce!" said Alya, as her Kwami, Trixx, flew into her necklace, which was the Fox Miraculous. Alya's hair then turned longer, and turned three-toned with orange, reddish brown, and vermillion with white tips. Her superhero attire was composed of a jumpsuit akin to an orange swan necked-overcoat with a black part on her neck, white front and black arms and gloves up to the middle of her upper arms. The overcoat layer attaches down the vertical front center with a zipper, and the Fox Miraculous becomes the zipper. The overcoat also has a long fox tail-like coattail that ends a bit below her knees at a sharp white tip. The bottom layer of her suit is orange with a white center on the front of the body and black legs starting at a point in the middle of her upper legs. She also wears black boots with orange soles and black fox paw print markings. Rena Rouge wears an orange mask with a white bottom half and a black mark above each eye that resembles eyebrows. Two orange fox ears with white insides, black tips, and black edges are attached to the top of her head. This was Alya's hero alias, Rena Rouge.
"Sass, Scales Slither!" said Luka, as his Kwami, Sass, flew into his bracelet, which was the Snake Miraculous. He was now clad in a mostly deep green, dark cyan, yellow, brilliant opal, and dark turquoise snake-themed superhero bodysuit, and appears slender and muscular. His suit has a snake-like texture and patterns, complete with fangs on his brilliant opal and turquoise-ish gray mask. His eyes change from cyan to brilliant spring green, and the dyed ends of his hair change to a moderate sea green. Along with this, he seems to wear light pink lipstick. He had a lyre on his back. This was Luka's hero form, Viperion.
"Howwl, Fangs Out!" said Jackson, as his Kwami, Howwl then flew into the Wolf Miraculous, turning the beads from black to gray, as Jackson made a wolf-themed superhero mask appear over his eyes turning his eyes from apple green to golden yellow, and a pair of fake 'wolf ears' appeared on top of his head, with his hair turning from black to gray and white. He was now clad in a gray and white wolf-themed superhero costume, with a fake 'tail', claws on the fingertips of his gloves, and fake fur on the collar, wrists, and ankles of his costume. In his hand was a bow similar to the Mysticon Ranger's bow. This was Jackson's superhero alias, Alpha Wolf.
With that, the heroes then headed to where Road Hog was causing havoc. "Alright, guys! Time to save the day, as per usual." said Ladybug, smirking.
"I'd like to see you and your friends try and stop me, Ladybitch and Brat-Noir!" said Road-Hog, with a smug smile on his face. He then fired grenades at the group, who dodged.
"Mirage!" said Rena Rouge, as she activated her Miraculous power, and she played a tune on her flute, generating a white-orange ball of energy before sending it at Road Hog, generating a hyper-realistic illusion of trophies.
"Instinct!" said Alpha Wolf, as he used his Miraculous power. This heightened his eyesight, hearing, and smell to incredible heights. He managed to detect a weak-spot on Road Hog's bike, and pulled back an energy arrow, bursting the tires.
"CATACLYSM!" said Cat Noir, activating his Miraculous Power, generating destructive energy into his ring-hand, and he scratched Road Hog's bike, damaging it and causing it to break apart. The aether left Road Hog, turning him back to Ricardo as the Akuma flew off.
"Time to De-Evilize!" said Ladybug, as she trapped the Akuma in her yo-yo, purifying it before releasing it. "Bye, little butterfly."
"POUND IT!" said Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Viperion, and Alpha Wolf, as they did a five-person fist-bump.
Later, as Marinette and co. were about to head off, they looked to see the Aphelion in the center of the park.
"What the heck?" Adrien blurted out, shocked to see an actual alien spacecraft. "Is that…an alien spaceship?"
"If Nino or Max see this, they'll be geeking the Hell out." said Alya, knowing how their friends, Nino Lahiffe, AKA Carapace, or Max Kante, AKA Pegasus would react. Suddenly, the Aphelion's cockpit opened, and Ratchet stumbled out

"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name's Marinette. These are my friends, Adrien, Alya, Luka, and Jackson." said Marinette.
"Where'd you guys come from?" said Luka, curious.
"Well, we appeared from a portal that opened in the sky." said Ratchet. "Me and some of my friends are from the Solana Galaxy."
"Well, you guys are on Earth, in the Milky Way galaxy." Adrien revealed.
"Clank…. Something tells me that we're not in Aleero City anymore." Ratchet gulped, nervously.
