Ashley wanders around as she awaits Harry Knight's return to Vermilion. Once he's back, they plan to head to the gym; Ashley, already a badge holder, is eager to watch her boyfriend challenge the new gym leader who replaced the previous one due to his harsh battle tactics and training methods. Entering a shop, Ashley observes an old man flirting with an employee. Moments later, she exits, laden with supplies—primarily healing items and extra Poké Balls—to restock her inventory. Spotting someone entering the city, she recognizes Harry and, with a grin, rushes and playfully jumps on him from behind. Initially startled, Harry relaxes as he recognizes Ashley's cherry and lemon-scented body wash. Together, they proceed to the Pokémon Center so Harry can tend to his Pokémon, followed by a brief, amiable conversation as they wait.

time skip 30 minutes later

we find Harry, standing inside the gym waiting for the Gym leader to show up after a few minutes later she showed up with a smirk on her face. Harry stares at the woman in front of him and grins "Let's go Monferno!" he exclaimed as his starter comes out of the ball

the gym leader grins, and spoke" well, well, we have an eager trainer ready for a battle good!" she exclaimed with a smile

she then pulls a ball out and spoke" let's go, Mareep!" soon a sheep like Pokémon comes out and the gym leader smirks at the young man in front of her so in return he smirks back.

both Pokémon gets into a battle stance as the referee gets ready to begin the match, as they start Ashley stands on the side to watch the battle closely.
the referee cuts his hand down and the battle begins

Harry commanded* use dig, then follow it up with fury swipes!" he exclaimed with a grin Monferno did as he was told however the Mareep was faster and dodged most of the fury swipes. Mareep counter its attack with a thunder shock.

the gym leader grins* Mareep use cotton spores!" she exclaimed with a smirk however Harry was ready for her and told Monferno.

Harry grins and commanded Monferno* use flame wheel! * He exclaimed with a grin and Monferno hits Mareep hard knocking the Mareep down but not out yet.

Monferno has static flying off him, and it shows that Monferno is now paralysis, Harry frowns but not getting angry, this happened before and it turned out fine, Harry grins and shouted a move out to Monferno* use flame wheel again!" he stated with a calm tone. the move worked as it hit the mark and knocks out Mareep even though Mareep was trying to get up, but it was out the gym leader frowns but grins as she took out her last Pokémon.

the gym leader spoke*come out now Jolteon!" she exclaimed with a smirk

Harry frowns and mutters* return Monferno" he stated with a calm tone

Harry then grins and spoke* come on out Geodude!* He exclaimed with a smirk.

Jolteon use iron tail!

Geodude use roll out!

they both hit each other however Geodude is now knocked out

Monferno was switched back out however, Harry frowns and spoke" I have to give up!" he stated with a frown

Harry then spoke up again" I won't risk my Pokémon's health." he commented with a sad tone.

the gym leader nods and smiles at him" well you certainly know what you are doing young man "she gave him a compliment with a smirk

Harry smiles and nods" thanks, I will train for two weeks then I come back and challenge you again!" he exclaimed with a smirk making the gym leader smiles at him and they all part ways.

soon Harry and Ashley were walking down a pathway for Harry to train his Pokémon, Ashley is also going to train her other Pokémon.

time skip two weeks.

Harry and Ashley are now on the way back to the Gym for Harry to challenge the leader again on the way they met up with brock and they all went to the gym together. soon they arrived at the gym and enters the gym Harry walks up to the battlefield and shouts" I am back for my rematch!" he exclaimed with a grin.

soon the gym leader comes out it's been two weeks since Harry lost to her and he is back, she hopes that Harry's Pokémon will give her Pokémon a challenge. the gym leader grins as she stares down the young man and spoke" Oh, I had a feeling you were going to be back sooner than later." she stated with a calm expression.

Harry grins as she sends out her first Pokémon and he sends out his first Pokémon.

the gym leader is grinning.

Harry then commanded his Pokémon too come out Graveler.

harry then ordered Graveler use Rock throw to start out with things.

Jolteon use iron tail combing it with quick attack! ordered the female gym leader.

Harry frowns and commanded Graveler use Dig quickly

both Pokémon did as was told and Jolteon used iron tail while Graveler used dig.

Ashley grins as she was watching her boyfriend Pokémon doing the best they could do.

Harry's Graveler hits Jolteon underneath its body knocking it down and out.

the gym leader wasn't shocked as that is super effective against her Pokémon.

She sighs and speaks, "Very well, good job Harry. You now have the badge. I know that even if I bring out my other Pokémon, I'll lose to your Graveler. You've done a great job training it," she stated with a smirk.

Harry nods and they shake hands, while this happened Ashley was standing outside watching the clouds, she blushes as she thought of something fun to do when they do their daily spars.

soon Harry comes out of the gym and Ashley takes his arm as they walk towards the Pokémon center, soon they arrived after a few moments of talking to each other Harry and Ashley enter the Pokémon center, and Harry gets his Pokémon healed.

after Harry's Pokémon gets healed, they leave the town for their next badge before they get there, they will be training hard.
