Milton street isn't that far, but they'll need to find a car to get to the location. Francis starts his search to finding a car on the roads. He finds a seven seat car as he pulls out a zombie by stabbing it in the brain. Francis checks through the pockets by finding the car key so they can drive off, but Louis took a seat to sit down by setting the alarm from the car which got Francis mad at him. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST DO!?" Francis yelled at him.
"What?! I was just sitting down!" He argued at him. The zombies can hear the car alarm as they approach towards it. Louis starts to panic in fear as they coming closer towards them. "Oh shit! We gotta go man!" Cried Louis with fear.
They all buckled up as Francis starts the engine and drives off from the zombies. They've drove a long mile towards Milton, suddenly the car was out of gas causing Francis by clenching his fists and beat the steering wheel. "Great! You've got to be fucking kidding me!" He grinds his teeth with anger as they all step out from the car just to walk across to Milton. Zoey decides to check on Francis to see if he's okay.
"You okay?" She asked Francis.
"No… I just can't do it without Bill, he helped us to survive from the apocalypse." He mentions about Bill. "It could have been me out there, sacrificing myself to save Bill, you and Louis." Francis trying to be more wisdom about himself. As they walked about a mile from the broken down car, Louis sees a large smoke coming from Milton street.
"Guys look! There's smoke coming from the street." Louis pointed at the smoke. The others take a look at the smoke as they are getting closer towards Milton street. Francis started running to the street while the others followed his lead, the wall was built around Milton street since the zombies were trying to tear down the wall.
"Come on, we got to help them!" Francis suggested. With Zoey and Louis following his lead as they entered the fortress to help the people from the zombies. Everyone used their guns to shot zombies through the head and they used the wooden sharp spikes to stab them to death. Charlotte was on the watch tower sniping those zombies when she notices about three people coming into the fortress.
"Who are these people?" She thought to herself. Where the zombies were finally killed off by Francis, Louis and Zoey. People were standing still since they've finally got help, Charlotte came towards demanding some questions from the others. "Just who are you people? We thought the military would be here to save us?" Charlotte asked.
"About that, the military were killed off by zombies. We heard your voice from the radio needing for help." Said Francis.
Charlotte was disappointed and annoyed about military help. She asks them to leave her fortress by being rude to them. "You know what, Just leave!" She demands them to leave.
"At least be more thankful, we've saved your ass from those fucking zombies!" Zoey yelled at Charlotte. Before they could leave Milton, Francis mentions about their friend Bill. She stopped for a second and turned around towards them.
"Look… we lost a friend of ours, he's name was Bill and he's a war hero." Francis said to Charlotte.
Charlotte made up her mind allowing them to stay at their fortress. She really had a change of heart while she rushes back to her house. Charlotte returned home as she grabs the key to the basement, she needed to check on her daughter Maddy who was also affected and turned her into a zombie. She brings her into the bedroom by brushing her hair. Maddy tries to bite her mother, but luckily for Charlotte she manages to put a bag on her daughter and takes her back to the basement.
Charlotte hears a knock on the door as she walks towards the front door and opens it. Jacob brought a basket of cookies and a wine bottle for Charlotte. "Sorry to disturb you Charlotte, I brought you some goodies here and a bottle of wine." He hands the basket to Charlotte when she slams the door in front of him. He taught and walks from the house while Charlotte places the basket on the kitchen counter.
Charlotte was having those kinds of flashbacks from her troubled past. She used to have a family with her husband Jeremy and her daughter Maddy. She lost her husband after he tried to save his family from the zombies, causing Charlotte and Maddy to flee from the apocalypse. When they were heading towards Milton street, everyone allowed them to stay and they've given them a home. Charlotte and Maddy were more welcome until Charlotte manages to check on Maddy and realised she was been bitten. Charlotte's decision was really tough to make and of course she didn't kill her daughter but kept her alive until she became a zombie.
Meanwhile at the bar, everyone was celebrating their victory and peace with Francis, Louis and Zoey. Francis stood outside with a cigarette when Charlotte came by to see him. "Guess you're here for the celebration?" He asked.
"Nope, thought I might come here for a chat. Between you and me, Francis." Said Charlotte. Francis offers her a cigarette, but she would say no to that. It makes her health worse if she smokes a cigarette that could make her inside rotten. He puts his cigarette box back into his pocket as they sat and talked about their pasts.
Francis talked about his past about travelling through the country roads with his motor bike, he often goes to bars even for a fight as well as ending up in a jail cell for fighting. Charlotte kinda laughed about one of his stories as well as the bar fights that he remembered. Charlotte decided to take their conversation into her house.
While they have arrived at the house and Francis hears a strange noise coming from the basement. He slowly walks towards the door, he reaches hand out to the door and nearly got caught out by Charlotte holding two glasses and a wine bottle. "Hey, got something to drink." She offered him a drink to continue their conversation.
"Yeah… sounds great to me." Said Francis. They continue their conversation while having a drink, they some times laugh about their life stories before the zombie apocalypse. Francis mentions about Bill on how they met each other and escaped from the city of zombies. He remembers when he sacrificed himself to save Francis, Zoey and Louis. He helped them to cross the bridge to escape from the zombies.
Charlotte talks about her family's loss during the apocalypse. She mentions about her husband losing his life from being torn apart by the zombies. She downs her wine after Francis leaves the house.
Meanwhile at the bar, Louis was downing some hot shots to get the party going while Zoey watches him drink. She wasn't even in the mood for someone sitting next to her who is stoner with drugs. Clive like to get stone high since Zoey isn't quite interested with drugs.
"Hey man, wants some of this?" He offers her for a smoke.
"No thanks, I'm good. I don't do drugs." She responded to Clive.
He really wasn't a type of person who do drugs, but he has a medication for his health. Zoey decided to sit back down next him, he explains about himself how he ended up having cancer. She feels more sorry for him, but weed is the only thing to keep Clive more alive. The two got along just fine with a friendly conversation. Zoey noticed something what she saw outside from bar, she sees Jacob holding a rock with his right hand.
Zoey decided to go and follow him by leaving the bar. Louis returns but doesn't know where to find Zoey. "Hey man, do you know where Zoey went to?" Louis asked Clive.
"Oh her…? She's just gone to follow Jacob." Clive told him. "He was walking around holding a rock." Clive told about Jacob.
Louis runs off to find Zoey. Francis heads back to the bar, only to find Zoey shouting at him to look behind him and sees Jacob with a rock. He tries to attack him but Francis luckily dodges the attack from Jacob punching him in the face. He punches Francis back knocking him, he finds the rock so he can kill him. Unfortunately he got knocked out by Charlotte.
"Francis…? Are you okay?" Charlotte checks on Francis.
"Yeah… I'm fine, what the fuck is his problem?!" Francis said angrily about Jacob.
Charlotte places the handcuffs on Jacob, since she's the only dealing with him. "Look, why don't you head back home. Get some rest." She tells him to go home. Charlotte brings Jacob back to her house, she carries him into the basement while she waits for him to wake up. Charlotte splashes a bit of water on Jacob as he suddenly wakes up.
"What the…? Where am I?" Jacob asked.
"My house, you've got some nerves why you were trying to kill Francis?" Charlotte demands some questions from Jacob.
"Look, it's none of your business. Why be friends with him, huh?" He rudely said to Charlotte. She pulls out her knife and stabs him in his right leg. He screams in pain from getting stabbed by Charlotte. "AGGGGH! Fuck!!" He screams out loud.
"Tell me the truth, asshole!?" She still demands him for a simple question. She really doesn't believe in Jacob because of his lies, Charlotte knows about Jacob's jealousy between her and Francis. If he isn't going to tell the truth, she could bring out her zombie daughter Maddy.
Charlotte holds her by the chains by taking off the bag from her head. Jacob looked horrified and scared by her zombie daughter.
"Charlotte, what the fuck!?" Jacob panicked in fear. "Please…! Don't do this, I'm begging you!" Jacob tries to move away from Maddy as she gets closer towards him.
"I'm never gonna give you a second chance Jacob, it's over." Charlotte said to Jacob. She released her zombie daughter and attack Jacob, tearing out his flesh as he still screams in horror. Jacob was eaten alive by Maddy, she puts the bag on her head again and chains her up on the wall.
The next morning, Francis got up from bed as he heads towards the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee for a morning drink. Zoey came by to kitchen as he ask her about Jacob. "Say Zoey, have you heard from Charlotte about Jacob?" He asks Zoey about Jacob.
"That asshole? Not a single clue on what's wrong with him." Zoey begins to wonder.
"Probably mental health issues." Guessed Louis.
Francis finished off his coffee to go and visit Charlotte. He might want to know about Jacob's behaviour about Francis. He knocks on the door as Charlotte opens it, Francis wanted to talk about Jacob. "Morning, mind if we talk?" He asked Charlotte.
"Yeah… come on in." Charlotte brings Francis into her house for a chat. Francis wanted to on what happened to Jacob after he tried attacking him with a rock. "I'm guessing you're here about Jacob?" She asked him.
"Yeah, does he have mental health issues?" Francis asked.
"To tell you the truth, he's really obsessed with me and wouldn't leave me alone." Charlotte explains about Jacob's mental-behaviour. She tells Francis that he was gone for good, Charlotte only kept it as a secret when her daughter Maddy ate his flesh. She only had to lie at Francis since he just believes in her.
Francis leaves the house while Charlotte closes the front door. She tilts her down with anger and stress, Charlotte looks at the basement as she remembers the screams from Jacob. She walks towards the kitchen grabbing a full bottle of wine while she drinks it. Charlotte only had no choice but to kill him off without Francis finding out about Jacob's death.
