The Unforgiven

Chapter 23

"You've dreamed about this day since you were little. It wasn't like that for me. I'm in support of whatever you decide." Lucas replied.

"Okay. I'll start planning." Brooke said. As she turned her gaze towards the bride magazines and her laptop. As flipped and scrolled wanting to put together an idea of the perfect wedding day for both seasons.

Lucas quietly left the room. Wondering if he was too honest with his answer.

Weeks later

"I think fall which is right now is what should be the theme in mind. The weather is oddly warmer then it should be so you have that to you're advantage." Rachel proclaimed.

"I do like the warmth in the water. Which is why i'm thinking."

"Indoor for the wedding. Outdoor for the reception."

"Our colors will be orange brown and yellow." Brooke replied.

"Are you going to have sit down meals or buffet?" Haley asked.

"Buffet. More fun. I'm not sure about the music."

"Or the cake. I'm making my dress."

"I want to be the perfect day but no wedding day is without problems of some kind at least that's what i've read." Brooke proclaimed.

"What did i tell you about looking on the internet about important aspects of the wedding? It'll only stress and worry you." Haley advised.

"Pick any cake and music you want. He's giving you free reign." Rachel suggested.

Brooke smiled and nodded. Secretly wishing this day mattered to Lucas the same way it did to her.
