Scene: Lucas and Peyton's bedroom

Action: Lucas is comforting Peyton after they have learned that Rachel's daughter Hillary who has Downs Syndrome passed away. Hillary died in her sleep at age 16.

Peyton (sobbing into her pillow): I am very afraid and worried, Luke.

Lucas (gently rubbing Peyton's back): Why?

Peyton (sitting up on the bed): Lucky has Downs Syndrome. We might lose Lucky in the same way that Rachel and Dean lost their daughter

Lucas (squeezing Peyton's hands): We are not going to lose Lucky. She will not die young.

Peyton: I remember when we almost Lucky many years ago

Lucas: Lucky's birth was a beautiful and yet traumatic event

Scene: Lucky's traumatic birth

Peyton (exhausted from pushing): I just want her out. Why isn't she coming out?

Lucas (rubbing Peyton's stomach): Giving birth to a baby requires time and patience. You shouldn't give up. I have faith in you. You can do this.

Peyton (holding her husband's hand): I am very afraid and worried, Luke.

Lucas (rubbing Peyton's stomach again): Your ordeal will be over soon

Peyton (giving into her pain and the contractions again): GRR..AHA...AHA...AHA

The Doctor (applying pressure to Peyton's stomach): Keep on pushing, Peyton. You got this.

Peyton (still bearing down and pushing hard): AHA...AHA...AHA...AHA

Lucas (looking down at Peyton's opening): The baby's head is starting to emerge
