The Unforgiven
Chapter 25
As Rachel stepped off the Podium. She walked made her way towards the exit doors. But before leaving she felt a hand on her shoulder. Turned and smiled shyly.
"Owen. I haven't seen you in so long. I never got to thank you for helping me out. Brooke's apartment. My OD when i visited her all those years ago. You saved my life." Rachel said.
"You did the hard work. I was glad to be there." Owen replied.
"I don't live in town i'm actually on the way out again."
"I came back because my wife Alex Dupre had a movie to shoot and that's done so we're headed back home." Owen explained.
"Wow you're married." Rachel replied.
"I am. Congrats on soon to be motherhood." Owen replied.
"Keep working the program the Rachel. Our disease of addiction follows us everywhere. We have to keep the monster caged."
"Otherwise we lose everything." Owen advised.
"I'll keep that in mind. Let's keep in touch. Whenever you and Alex land in town. The four of us should meet up." Rachel replied.
...
"Please tell me. You are thinking smart and logical here."
"Meaning. You have a prenup for him to sign?" Victoria asked.
"Yes i did and he's already signed it. But money and belongings are not what is important here."
"What me and Lucas have is real strong and will last a lifetime." Brooke proclaimed.
"I think my concerns and doubts are valid. You come from a moneyand status. The best of everything."
"Lucas simply doesn't and the reality is once real life hits this relationship you're going to see for yourself if Lucas really wants the life he's told you he does." Victoria proclaimed.
"You and Ted will get an invite to the wedding. We want a drama/stress free day. I am fully commited to Brooke and the life we're building." Lucas stated matter of fact.
As he entered the store. And went over to where Brooke was.
"I wonder what Peyton Sawyer would think about that." Victoria replied.
"For you're sake i hope you're serious. My daughter's heart and well being matter alot to me and my husband." Victoria replied.
