Chapter 26
"After all these years the hurt and damage the two of you caused."
"Now you decide to be parents. That's a surprise." Lucas replied.
"We'll be in touch." Victoria said. Looking to her daughter before leaving the clothing store.
Brooke focused on him. "What are you doing here?"
"You're novels officially in stores now. As of this morning."
"I bought a copy and haven't had the chance to read it yet." She said.
"I'm here to see you. To talk to you." Lucas said. Leading her over to the seating area.
They sat down beside each other.
"I'm listening. What do we have to talk about?" Brooke asked.
"The wedding planning. I know what i said before."
"How i acted. And yes getting my novel done was important to me."
"But nothing should come before our wedding."
"You know i bought the house for you. For us."
"Peyton will only ever be a friend."
"My heart is yours. Everything that i am is yours now."
"I want to help with the wedding in anyway i can."
"I should of helped from the beginning. I'm sorry for how i acted." Lucas proclaimed.
The expression on her face softened.
"It's forgiven. And of course i want you apart of this." Brooke replied.
Lucas leaned over kissing her softly.
"Lemon/Strawberry for the cake. Or do we go chocolate/carmel.?" Brooke asked.
"Either one sounds delious." Lucas replied.
"Where are we going to get married.? I want in town. Indoors. Private. I have no idea where we could go for honeymoon."
"I'm lost with both of those." Brooke explained.
"You leave that to me. I know you're making you're dress."
"Put all you're time and attention on that instead." Lucas insisted.
"Are you sure?" Brooke questioned.
"Yes i've got this covered." Lucas stated matter of fact.
