Yarwil quickly stuffed Morokei into his satchel as the Dunmer continued to stare at him. Even in the day time he couldn't see their eyes under the darkened shroud of their hoods but he could feel all of their eyes nearly burning a hole in him.
He had no idea what these Dunmer were capable of and was very cautious about any moves he made. He started to sense a magical aura around him and did his best to look around without allowing his eyes to move too much and saw what made him realize he was unwillingly created a much needed distraction.
As the Dunmer were paying attention to him he noticed a slight movement in the grass behind them moving towards the altar Travius laid on. He couldn't cast any spells to keep from a bad reaction from the Dunmer but he knew the coincidence of the people using invisibility spells not being the assassins heading to the same destination as him were too great.
From behind all of them he could see Travius upper body begin to move as if he was being lifted. Then he saw the legs get lifted and the body started to slowly move as if he was being carried. The Dunner kept their focus on Yarwil as his heavy armor clad body was slowly carried away off the altar.
Without ever removing their gaze from Yarwil one of them finally spoke.
"If you wish to save him, removing him from that Altar will have a contradictory effect. Just a bit more patience and he'll be returned as more than you ever knew him to be. Rest assured for your own sakes, Your efforts are not unnoticed by Boethia."
And with that, knowing they were caught, the body was lowered back onto the Altar. Anaelle released her concentration and Kinaan, M'Arques and herself all flashed into everyone's vision.
"You should have known better" the Dunmer said looking at Kainan, who had a frustrated look on his face.
"You should all be in the city. Tonight is the catalyst that pushes the revolution."
"The revolution? Fucking Daedra. I've had enough of this cryptic non sense. What have you done to him?" Anaelle said
"Who are you?" Yarwil asked.
"I am the one who is speaking" was his only response.
"You won't be for long if you don't start becoming the one who answers my damn question." Anaelle angrily said as she popped out her fangs.
"You need to become one who listens, Princess. Just like Sithis' mouth piece you accompany ." He responded as he pointed at M' Arques.
"Then speak. Speak of how we can save our friend. That's all we want. He is our friend, our husband, our protector. We just want to do as he would do for us." Yarwil spoke.
"As I have stated. Your efforts are not unnoticed by Boethia. As well meaning as you may be, your attempts to save him from that of which he does not need saving are only going to cause him the harm you wish to protect him from.
You needn't waste anymore time trying to save him, you need to go to your city, his kin has already touched the artifact." The Dunmer said and then they all circled back around Travius as they were before. Pushing the others out of the way if needed.
"His kin?" M' Arques asked inquisitively.
"No! I'm not leaving him! I'm not just trusting the word of some cultist to my husbands safety!" Anaelle defiantly stated.
"And what fucking Kin?!" She yelled
Just as she was about to yell something else a green spell came flying at her from Yarwil. She fell to the ground limp and paralyzed.
"Her own magical abilities are sometimes underestimated. This won't last long before she wakes up. Get her back to the dragons camp." He said to the others
Kainaan picked her up and put her over his shoulders and they started to walk towards the city. As they passed the cultist the, The One Who Speaks looked at Kainaan.
"You make sure this is the catalyst."
Kainaan gave him an angry look.
"You assure us he will returned safely" Yarwil asked them.
"He will be where he needs to be."
"If I may ask one small favor." Yarwil said as he handed the one who spoke Morekei.
"Give him this. Let him know his people tried"
He took ask and inspected it. A look of amazement on his face and he realized what it was. The he just simply nodded at Yarwil and tucked the mask away.
