Nozick was still on Kadaku, he had heard of the kitsune xenos that was on board the battle barge, he was genuinely curious and wanted to find out more about the kitsune race, and he had discovered the current leader of the mechanicus is the kitsune known as Nine, before he could learn more, he was approached by Sarkaana
"Archmagos, for the last time we must get you off world!" She sair, annoying Nozick
"Assessment equals inordinate ignorance"
"we'll be overrun in minutes!"
"By the omnissiah, cease interruptions!"
Then Tails and titus squad arrived
"Major"
"Ah, Acheran finally sends me what i asked for"
"Archmagos it is imperative you evacuate immediately"
"Denied, will not leave without data. Relocate to facility i will instruct over vox" Nozick said, his voice glitching
"make ready to leave, this will not take long"
"Major, i have a second unit working on a theoretical that should buy you some time" Titus said
"My lord!" Sarkaana said, stopping Titus and tails from leaving
"I've lost three squads trying to reach that lab, we think somethings out there" she said, worrying Tails
"and you! kitsune! I would like a few words with you over vox" Nozick said to tails
"Sure why not, praise the omnissiah" Tails said to Nozick
and so they went on, not knowing what awaited them
Once again they where in the swamp, poisoned by the Tyranids
"Identify: Lab location equal to far side of swamp"
"Reiterate, time factor critical!" Nozick said over the vox
"we will vox when we have an update"
"See that you do" Nozick said followed by a binaric squawk
"Never encountered a higher ranking mechanicus until now, he said he wants to speak to me on some subjects"
"He did? don't say to much" Chairon cautioned
"We will never get this planets stench out of our armor" Gadriel said
"Compared to your usual aura, it is an improvment brother!" Chairon said trying to lighten up the mood
"Very amusing" Gadriel said, annoyed
"Alright can we not, can we kill these xenos scum first?" Tails said trying to change the subject and went into battle with his bolter and chainblade
The battle was short, and Tails voxed over to cream
"Talasa and Cream, the cadians are running out of time, how close are you and Decimus's squad to the promenthium facility?"
"Breaching the facility now, i will rot out and burn these rotten xenos scum"
"That doesn't sound like the cream i knew, she used to be more kindhearted"
"I heard that!"
"Oh sorry"
"It's alright, i still have my soft side" Cream said over vox
But they there was something, but it disappeared, send a chill doen Tails spine
"What was that?"
"We are being hunted" Titus said
they continued deeper into the swamp, and found two dead space marines
"Cordanus, Septimus, Damn it" Chairon said with sorrow
"This is the work of a Lictor" Titus said
"What is- oh no, is it some form of super xenos?"
"Yes, and a stealthy one"
They continued deeper in and fought off the xenos, Tails reminded himself to speak with Nozick, since he seemed interested in the fact that he is a Kitsune
Tails felt stronger than before, no longer limited by sonic, no longer weak, but he had yet to unleash his true potential
"this is it!"
They went down the cliff, but they felt like they where being watched, Titus ordered them to search the place, Gadriel then suddenly fired his weapon at something, but Tails saw nothing, until his senses kicked in and countered the Lictors blade and kicked it away, it turned invisible and disappeared
"Nice reaction time Tails!"
"Thank you for the compliment but can we focus on killing this ugly xenos" Tails said
Tails was looking for the xenos bastard, but he was then ambushed and knocked down by it despite his reaction time, it tried to stab him but he countered it by kicking it away
He shoot at it with his Volkite Caliver he picked up earlier and hacked at it with his upgraded chainblade since he had made some modifications to it while he was on the battle barge
The xenos was quite cunning, it used ambush tactics and bait and switch to overwhelm its victims, but in the end, tails eventually ripper its blade off and impailed it, killing the bastard
"You are one ugly motherfucker" Tails said as he stomped its skull in, but then he proceeded to rip out something from it and stored it
"Major Sarkaana, you we're right, there was a Lictor out here"
"I suspect you have already dealt with it"
"Indeed, it will not trouble you again"
"very good, my lord"
They continued onwards and Tails went and contacted the Archmagos since he wanted to speak with him
"Archmagos, What exactly did you want to speak with me about?"
"What makes you different from other Xenos (Binaric Squawk)"
"I mean... i am not hostile like those Tyranids"
"Did you know your not the last?"
"Huh?"
"Nine, Kitsune, Leader of adeptus Mechanicus"
"There is... another one?"
"Chairon are you hearing this?"
"He's isn't the last after all"
"Where you get Volkite weapon?"
"I just happen to find it"
"Will contact soon" and Nozick left again
"Another Kitsune... and it's the leader of the Mechanicus"
"Not many know this, but most of the tech priests do" Titus said
and so they continued onwards, cutting down xenos on their way
"The lictor is a capable foe" Chairon spoke
"A welcome challenge" Gadriel added
"If it werent for the kitsune, i fear we would have joined Cordanus and Septimus"
"Perhaps they faced more than one"
"No, Lictors hunt alone"
"We are getting close, let's hurry"
They continued deeper in, until they reached the facility
"Archmagos we have arrived"
"At last! Move to lower levels"
"If lifts are functioning, Route equals direct"

Tails then rushed the Tyranids and slaughtered them, having improved in skill and tactics after fighting the Lictor
"Archmagos the entrance is inoperative"
"BY THE (Binarich Squawk), Stand by"
"Proceed"
"Expect Enemy presence"
The Facility was in ruin, they hope that the Archmagos research is intact
"Verify: your signature is detected in lift one one nine"
"Disappointingly slow progess for an Astartes"
"Spare me the insults magos"
"Statement error (Binaric Squawk) Insults? I engage in pure analysis"
The archmagos explained then how to get the research to him via a transmitter
"I have had more pleasant conversations with Orks"
"You mean hacking them apart?"
"...Yes"
