(Chapter 1: The Adventure Renewed)

It was all one big coincidence. From the Eds to the Loud Boy… No one knew how this was going to unfold… Maybe it was all fate, but whatever happened, it was sure to be an adventure!
It all started through a mishap between the four…
"Um, excuse me? Mind if I say it?" Lincoln asked me.
"Go right ahead, it saves time for me." I replied as I typed Lincoln's words.
"Thanks." Lincoln smiled as he looked at you, the reader. "So to start things off, I met three new friends with an identical catchy name! They are Ed Edd N Eddy! So elaborate further, we were all sent to the SAME PROGRAM! Isn't it amazing?! Well, for the Eds, it was Double Dee who was meaning to go alone while Ed and Eddy stayed behind. Ed held onto the bus as it drove away but as it opened the door, Ed's sister grabbed Ed and Eddy and shoved them inside! Talk about a mean spirited sister, and that's coming from me, someone who has experience with them! But luckily for the Trip, they allowed Ed and Eddy to climb aboard since this was the trio that had Double Dee the most familiar. Those three are inseparable!"
"Ooh, can you tell them what happened to your story?!" Asked Ed, who came back with a slab of Buttered Toast.
"Now's not the time to interrupt Lincoln's narration monologue, Ed." Double Dee warned Ed.
"You think they can hear Lincoln?" Asked Eddy.
"Perhaps something along the lines of Rolf's laid prophecy, 'Many Doors, yes Ed Boys?'." Double Dee quoted Rolf.
"Yeah, yeah…" Eddy shrugged it off.
"Mind if I test this narrating monologue, Lincoln?" Double Dee asked Lincoln.
"Go right ahead, I guess." Lincoln replied.
"Here we go, we got Double Dee monologuing… Enjoy…" Eddy crossed his arms.
"For Lincoln's predicament, it was the fact that he was recommended this trip to our destination by his grandfather, whom Lincoln calls Pop-Pop, who is actually Albert Reynolds! Despite the chances of this adventure being a secret, his siblings had attempted to SPY on Lincoln, sending the… questionably gothic sister through what appeared to be true… a ventilation duct… But even if they did want to pester him, the source of all of this was their fault in making Lincoln feel unwelcomed, for when we found Lincoln at the airport in Detroit, he was as depressed and mute as anyone could imagine a tired gentleman… But then when we played some games, as well as helped Eddy with a few scams in Detroit, which ended up badly… And all of a sudden, Lincoln warmed up to us!"
"Well, there's also a person he brought with him. Right now, he's in the bathroom." Ed replied with his eyes dilated.
"Hey! Potty humor is inappropriate!" Lincoln frowned at Ed.
Eddy laughed. "He said Potty!"
"Real mature, Eddy…" Double Dee sighed so low as he returned monologuing. "Where was I…? Oh yes! Lincoln's friend who he barely met in a Detroit hospital after taking a break, Adrien Louisville Deschamps, a European-Born American who has traveled throughout the world! Even though Lincoln has spent his days splitting apart from his friends after a hiatus of being friends, considering their disputes that led them astray from Lincoln, Adrien has proven to be QUITE the Best Pal anyone could ever ask for!"
"ROLE CALL BASED ON MONEY COLOR!" Ed called out. "BLUE!"
"RED!" Eddy called out.
"Yellow! Or so to say…" Double Dee called out.
"Orange!" Lincoln chimed in.
"Green!" Adrien appeared from behind the Ed Boys and Lincoln. Adrien was a boy with Blonde Slicked-Down Hair, Yellow Shirt, Khaki Pants, White Sneakers with a Yellow Belt with a Fake Emerald Buckle.
"Adrien!" The Boys called the Hospital Boy.
"Who else would it be?" Asked Adrien.
"Well, as long as we're here, we can study upon traveling to our newest Summer School!" Double Dee smiled.
"Attention passengers; We are close to the arrival of the Paldea Region in about 15 minutes. Please hold on tight as we get into position for a smooth landing at Levincia."
Lincoln sighed as he smiled. "Well I hope whatever comes our way, we can face it, together…"
"I second that!" Double Dee smiled as the boys looked out the window to see a luscious island of nature and towns with creatures on the land each one living through different terrains.
Suddenly, some turbulence hit the airplane.
"Better fasten our seatbelts…" Double Dee quickly tucked himself with his seatbelt as did his friends.
After Ed saw something shining from the sea landing behind a cliff, he was mesmerized by the whole event.
"Someday… I want to explore a world with no pain… only joy and toast! Buttered Toast Galore!" Ed smiled.

Ehem!
So here we are with the Boys one week later after getting their rooms. Everyone has selected a Pokemon from the Main Office…
Selecting first was Ed, who received Fuecoco, a small crocodilian Pokémon with a red pepper-shaped body and a pair of short stubby arms each with three claws. He also had two stump-like legs each with two black toe claws. Two yellow stems protrude from Fuecoco's head, and he also had two yellow patches on his belly and tail.

"Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon. A Fire Type. It lies on warm rocks and uses the heat absorbed by its square-shaped scales to create fire energy. Its flame sac is small, so energy is always leaking out. This energy is released from the dent atop Fuecoco's head and flickers to and fro."

Ed's connection to Fuecoco was like two best friends connecting as… well… best friends! Fuecoco liked Ed so much that he made crocodile chirping when Ed held him!
Ed named his Fuecoco, Louis… For his fondness of jolly alligators!

For Double Dee, he chose next, and he got Sprigatito, a small feline-like Pokémon that resembled a kitten. She had light-pink eyes and light-green fur, as well as a small triangular nose and a large bushy tail. Her ears were of a darker green compared to the rest of her fur, and she also had a leaf-like fur on her chest and mask-like pattern on her face. She had pink paw pads at the bottom of her paws and also had black claws that usually remain retracted unless in combat.

"Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokémon. A Grass Type. Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokémon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out. The sweet scent its body gives off mesmerizes those around it. The scent grows stronger when this Pokémon is in the sun."

As for Double Dee's connection to Sprigatito, she was more like a cat than anything. Way less energetic than Ed and Fuecoco, but rather, calm friends as Sprigatito laid down by the window to absorb sunlight.
That was when Pouncy found a Yungoos and pounced on it and rested on it.
Double Dee called his Sprigatito, Pouncy… for her pouncing behavior!

Finally we have Eddy, who received a Quaxly, a Pokemon who looked like a small white duck with teal feet, a round yellow beak, sapphire connected eyes, and a teal beret of feathers. She had a thin secondary layer of feathers at her chest. Her feathers contain a glossy gel that protects Quaxly from water and grime.

"Quaxly, the Duckling Pokémon. A Water Type. This Pokémon migrated to Paldea from distant lands long ago. The gel secreted by its feathers repels water and grime. Its strong legs let it easily swim around in even fast-flowing rivers. It likes to keep things tidy and is prone to overthinking things."

Eddy's connection to his Pokémon was not that strong at first… Even though Eddy whined about having a bird, the Quaxly pecked him once for hating her, another for mistaking her gender, and again for trying to trade with Ed.
Although it did take a while for Quaxly to warm up with Eddy, Eddy decided not to be picky as he chose the Water Pokemon and saw that she, too, has dreams. While calling her a random name from Ed's Games, he called his Quaxly, Marin.
Marin's dream… is to fly…

As for Lincoln and Adrien, there wasn't any for them, and an order for New Pokémon would arrive in about a week…
And so, when the Eds trained, they found out about catching Pokémon and so, Ed caught a couple of Lechonk and loaned two for Lincoln and Adrien as Lincoln and Adrien trained as well.
It wasn't until an old trainer who looked like Lincoln but older (wearing a Black Jacket, with an Orange Hitmon-Energy Drink Shirt, with Black Faded Jeans as well as Motorcycle Boots.), who funnily enough claimed to be named Lincoln, donated his Starter Collection from an Remote Game Show Island (Cameo) as he handed Lincoln (Orange Shirt) his prized Starter Pokémon's Genetic Daughter, a Popplio with the same name, "Melody", for a fondness in music.
As for Adrien, he handed him a Treecko named "Rye" for his location during Hurricane Season on his island. As for the other Starter Pokemon, he gave the other set of pairs to Lincoln and Adrien to show who they deem worthy. After that, Lincoln (Black Jacket) left onboard his airplane, patting his the Younger Lincoln before heading to his Plane with his Pokéball out.

Melody was a Popplio who was a somewhat chubby blue sea lion Pokémon. She had large eyes and a long white snout with a pink round nose and black whiskers. She had two teardrop-shaped ears on each side of her head. Around her neck was a light blue clown collar which extended out past her shoulders. She had four flippers which consisted of two large ones with white markings isolating her toes and two small rear ones.
Rye was a Trrecko, who was a small, bipedal, lizard-like Pokémon. He had two dark green, leaf-like tails, and a red underside. Each of his hands and feet had three circular fingers and toes respectively. He had bright yellow eyes and skinny reptilian pupils. The bottom of his feet was sticky, enabling him to cling to things.

"Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon. A Water Type. This Pokémon can control balloons made of water. It practices diligently so it can learn to make big balloons. The balloons it inflates with its nose grow larger and larger as it practices day by day."
"Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokémon. A Grass Type. The small hooks on the soles of its feet latch on to walls and ceilings, so it will never fall even while hanging upside down. Treecko can quickly scale even vertical surfaces. It senses humidity with its tail to predict the next day's weather."

Starting onto the training cycle, the Boys kept training in Poco Path, unfolding all the Maps to train like Cabo Poco Cave, Lighthouse Sea, Poco Path, Los Platos Plains, and Private Beach!
And so begins a New Battle Cypher!

After waiting for training in three days, the Boys walked on the sand from where Ed faced off against Nemona and won.
"Hey, Ed! Doesn't this beach bring battle Nostalgia?" Lincoln asked Ed.
"Nostalgia?" Asked Ed.
"Something like Deja Vu when you see somewhere you've already been before, Ed." Double Dee defined Lincoln's word.
"Well, it's not nasty…" Ed shrugged, making Lincoln confused and Double Dee chuckled behind his hand.
"Well then, let's begin the Brand New Battle Cypher!" Eddy started walking apart. "Everyone spread apart from each other!"
"But I don't wanna leave my friends!" Ed cried out.
"Actually, Ed, he means get into a range so that you're not hit by other Pokémon. We're gonna need a lot of space if we want a battle royale." Lincoln clarified.
"Oh! Okay! This is gonna be so good!" Ed walked away as he spread apart in a five-tipped star as everyone got out their Pokéballs.

The wind and sea stirs as if acting like an audience was watching, even with the Pokemon watching, passing by.
"Come on out! Marin!" Eddy tossed out his Pokéball as it opened and summoned his Quaxly, but this time, she had a Hibiscus Flower on her pompadour-styled feather plumage.
"(Let us do the best that we can, in style!)" Marin fluffed her feather plumage as he patted the Hibiscus Flower as she took battle stance; waving her hips side to side as if dancing.
"Well, we got the answer for that! Let's have a crack at it, Pouncy!" Double Dee tapped the Pokéball and tossed it to the center, summoning his Sprigatito.
Pouncy looked everywhere as she looked at Marin, and licked her lips. "(I'm going to have fun with you.~)"
"(Did somebody call for a Duckling Roast and a Rosemary Smoke?!)" Louis called out as he was already summoned, catching Marin and Pouncy's attention.
"We'll take victory, even if it's by force! Right, Louis?!" Ed smirked as his Fuecoco leaped.
"It's all fun and games until I come in!" Lincoln replied. "Let's rock, Melody!"
Lincoln summoned his Popplio as he blew a Bubble Balloon and then it popped. "(Everyday I come in, I only get stronger!)"
"(Not without me!)" Rye joined in as Adrien's Treecko was summoned.
"We'll do what we can! No matter what, lemme see what we can do in this battle!" Adrien cheered as he tipped his glasses.

[Battle Rules]
This is a Battle Royale/Battle Cypher that is a Free-for-All! Items may be allowed, but the first Pokémon in the Party is the one that's going to participate in battle. The defeated Pokémon shall be defined when there's less than 15 Percent health on the Pokémon. The winner shall be called when the last one remains.

"First thing's first! Pouncy, attack Marin with Leafage!" Double Dee called out!
"(Take this, Chicken Head!)" Pouncy hissed as she swung her green glowing tail and barraged a couple of leaves at Marin!
"Counter back with Water Gun, Marin!" Eddy called out.
"(No meat for you, Sunlight Baker!)" Marin took a deep breath and gushed out a blast of water with an exhale, canceling the Leafage with an eruption of green and crystal blue in the center of Pouncy and Marin!
"Louis! Take the shot! Use Ember on Double Dee's cat!" Ed smirked, pointing at Pouncy as Pouncy looked at Louis, hearing that order!
"Quick, Melody! Block it with a Water Gun Attack!" Lincoln called out!
"And that's the wrap of recycled fanfiction everyone!" Ed replied to the readers.
"(Here it comes, Peppermint!)" Louis took a deep breath as he blasted out a dart of fire onto Pouncy's direction… only for it to be stopped with a Water Gun attack from Melody! "(What?!)"
"(Sorry pal! No herbs or poultry for dinner tonight!)" Melody bowed in respect.
"Rye! Use Quick Attack on all four in a C-Shape, they're all aligned!" Adrien ordered.
"(Last to move, last to buck a move! Here I go!)" Rye dashed through Melody, next; Louis, then Pouncy, and finally Marin!
"Shoot him, Marin! Water Gun!" Eddy called out his order.
"Don't let Rye escape! Use Leafage along Marin!" Double Dee ordered.
"Block them both with Disarming Voice!" Lincoln ordered.
"(Listen, duckling… I don't like you…)" Pouncy frowned at Marin.
"(Same to you, too, Compost Breath…)" Marin sighed as she attacked with Pouncy, using a Water Gun and Leafage Combo only to be blocked by Melody's Disarming Voice!
"(No one bullies my comrade, especially after good thinking!)" Melody frowned as she spread her flippers apart, shielding Rye.
Pouncy and Marin's eyes widened.
"Square on the Spot! Louis, Full-Power Tackle Attack on Rye! Bowling time!" Ed aimed.
"(Nice Combo! May I order mine?!)" Louis asked so jolly as he frowned and Critical-Hit Rye into Melody who rolled into Pouncy and Marin!
"Woah! Nice Combo, Ed." Eddy congratulated Ed as Marin and Pouncy's abilities activated as they glowed Blue and Green respectively. "Hey!"
"It looks like our abilities are activated, Eddy! Let's use this to shift the battle!" Double Dee insisted.
"In that case… Rye! Quick Attack Combo again on all three behind you!" Adrien ordered.
"Disarming Voice, Quick!" Lincoln called out.
Just as Rye leaped onto Melody with Quick Attack, Melody cried out with Disarming Voice and launched Rye away!
"Pouncy! Use Bite on Melody!" Double Dee ordered.
"Marin! Work Up while you have the chance!" Eddy ordered.
Pouncy did some jumping jacks as Pouncy bit into Melody as Melody yelped in pain! Ed aimed again and targeted Pouncy as Rye focused in the air, Adrien and Ed getting the same idea.
"Rye! Sprinkle some Leafage onto all of them!" Adrien ordered.
"When the sprinklers are done, Louis, smoke them with Ember!" Ed ordered.
"(Time to Toast!)" Rye's tail glowed green as he swung some leaves onto Melody, Pouncy and Marin!
"(Huh?!)" Marin, Pouncy and Melody looked at themselves as they saw Louis with an attack, ready as he blasted them with Ember! Burning all of them!
[Marin/Quaxly, Pouncy/Sprigatito, and Melody/Popplio - Triple Double-Team KO!]
"WHAT?!" Double Dee, Eddy and Lincoln were shocked.
"(Herbs with Surf and Turf! What's not to like?!)" Louis chuckled heartily!
"Should've stayed focused!" Adrien warned. "Now it's down to Ed and Me! Rye! Quick Attack!"
"Round at close counter, Louis!" Ed ordered.
Just as Rye was about to attack Louis with a teleporting kick, Louis took a deep breath and roared a loud note, stopping Rye!
"(Gah!)" Rye covered his ears as he landed on his tail!
"Ember!" Ed ordered.
"(Write my name in History… IN CHARCOAL!)" Louis blasted a dart of Fire onto Rye as he was eliminated.
Every one of the defeated Pokémon Ability were triggered to the extreme, but lost power suddenly as they know what the rules are…
Ed stood there as he saw what went on… He won!
Louis ran back to Ed as Ed carried him and tossed him up to catch him! "WE DID IT, LOUIS! WE DID IT!"

"For a unique match, this was my favorite battle!" Adrien tipped his glasses as he sighed with a satisfied grin.

Each of the Boys took time to heal their Pokémon from the Battle.
A warm feeling was displayed throughout the atmosphere.

Eddy took a look at the Hibiscus Flower on Marin. "Nothing much… doesn't look cooked or anything…"
"(... You… sure…?)"Marin wobbled her words as she looked anxious until Eddy booped her beak with his finger.
"Yeah, nothing's wrong… If only I know how you can talk…"
"(Hey, you… Duck Al Orange…)" Pouncy walked by, healing from her burn marks. As Marin stared at her. "(You… you're not a bad fighter… though your Attack Pool needs some work…)"
"(Oh…)" Marin took note as Pouncy sat down as Double Dee sprayed Pouncy with something from his spray bottle as Pouncy hissed.
"It's okay, Pouncy. It's only a potion mixed with some essential oils for your leafy fur." Double Dee pets his Sprigatito, earning some purrs as Pouncy nuzzles onto Double Dee, keeping a monotone face as she does so.
"(Yeah! I like that combo we did!)" Louis spoke with Rye.
"(An amazing cypher that was, buddeh!)" Rye agreed with Louis.
"(You boys haven't seen the last of me when we do one more Cypher!)" Melody smiled as she earned some proud looks from Louis and Rye.
Ed gave Louis an Oran Berry as he cooked it and ate it with Ember. Adrien healed Rye with a bottle of Spray Potion while Lincoln healed Melody with a bottle of Fresh Water to drink.
"You did amazing out there, Melody! You were a great defense!" Lincoln petted his Popplio as she giggled and clapped her flippers.
"Well, it's getting dark out, might as well head back." Lincoln told the crew.
"Well then, what's for dinner?" Asked Eddy.
"I guess another round of sandwiches based on Ed's winnings?" Double Dee suggested.
"Let's Eat!" Ed took out a Car that was used in Cartoon Network Speedway as he gets in with Eddy as the driver, Double Dee as the GPS and with enough room for Lincoln and Adrien as all five of them recalled their Pokémon and drove off into Cabo Poco like a Freeway.

"We'll find you… Lincoln…" Spoke a soft voice in the airplane.
"You won't ditch us again, Dorks!" Spoke a harder voice as he looked out the window, getting dark outside.

(How I animated/scripted the fights: I binged on th newest Mario and Luigi Games and basically did some fighting styles of that. Even if it seems anime, it's still Japanese Coreography. Anyways, this is the next on is the last Chapter. Of this Experiment.)
