The Daughter Of Bruce Stark Part 4

Leo was laying down in his bed. He and Evelyn were sent to their rooms when Halle brought the two children back to the manor. The young boy was thinking about what Evelyn said about Major Julian, Captain Colby and Dylan. If those three men is in the city right now, he can avenge James. Leo takes out his laptop and started pulling up recent sightings of those three men. Nothing showed up on online.

If nothing was going to show anything about those three men, then Leo will just have to leave the manor again and start searching in the city. He'll just have to wait until the late afternoon to leave the manor. So Leo spent some time reading some articles on his iPad until late afternoon came. Leo had his phone and wallet ready along with the diamond sword.

The young boy left the manor and heads into the city by taking a cab. He heads to one of the parks and gave the driver a tip. There was a few kids playing in the park as their parents kept an eye on them. Leo spots a few abandoned buildings from across the road. He left the park and enters one of them.

Leo shines a flashlight he took from the manor. There were empty cardboard boxes all over the floor with broken glass. Mildew stains can be seen on the floor. He enters a hallway with wallpaper hanging out as if was torn. There weren't that many rooms but some of the doors were missing. Leo entered a room that looks like a waiting area.

He heads out of the building to check the next abandoned building.

A couple hours has passed and it was nighttime. Leo was standing right outside the next abandoned building. This building was a lot more messier than the last one. Leo had to step over broken glass and furniture along the way. He passed several rooms and came across some mice running away. Leo enters a room that led to the exit of the building that was all boarded up. He heads back to the loading docks until he heard something in the hallway.

Leo turns around to see who was there. No one was in the hallway except him. He heard something behind and quickly drew the diamond blade with a fast spin that was blocked by Evelyn's sword. "What are you doing here, Evelyn? How did you find me?"

"I put a tracker on you when you weren't looking after we got back." She answered.

"I see. Any signs of those three men?"

"No."

"We'll just keep searching the building then." Leo growled as he punches a hole in the wall. "Gah!"

"What did you punch through the hole?"

He shines a light in the hole to see a bronze door handle. "A door handle and I felt it when I punched the stupid wall."

She moves the handle and pull the door open to find a hidden staircase. "Hm. Seems like we found a hidden staircase."

"Let's see where this leads then." Leo said as he enters the passageway, and Evelyn follows behind him before closing the door.

The two children kept walking down the staircase for a few minutes until they reached the last step. They approached a metal door. There was light coming from the other side. Leo opens the door a little to take a peek. He didn't see anyone in the room. Opening the door, the two children enters the room. Several desks can be seen inside the room. There were papers all over the desks. There were a few computers on the desk and there was a computer in front of the room that was separated from the others.

"Let's check to see what's on the computer." Leo said to her and approaches the computer.

Evelyn watches him goes through several files.

"What's this?" Leo looks closely at the screen. "Seems like these guys are looking for a ship."

"What kind of ship?"

"I'm not sure, but take a look at this."

Evelyn looks at the screen. "They're excavating for... dinosaur bones?"

Before Leo can say a word, two doors open on either side of the room and several soldiers came rushing in with their guns. The two children drew their blades and dives backwards to avoid the gun shot.

Evelyn charges foward while deflecting the bullets with her sword. She slices through a soldier's arm before stabbing another in the eye. One soldier was dumb enough to charge at her, but Evelyn sheaths her sword to grab the soldier and spun him around to block the bullets that was fired.

She jumps on the soldier shoulders and rolls toward them to throw the injured soldier into the other soldiers and fires a single bullet to the grenade, causing an explosion. The girl smirks at them.

Five soldiers already surrounded Leo. Two soldiers drew their pistols and fires at the kid, but Leo ducks the shots and two soldiers were shot through the eyes. Leo was quick to stab the third soldier through the chest a couple of times and elbows a soldier in the balls behind him. But Leo had to dive over a desk to cover from the incoming bullets.

"Ngh!" Evelyn landed besides him after she avoided several grenades that went off.

Leo and Evelyn rose to their feet and they were both surrounded by the soldiers with their guns pointed at them.

"Don't kill them! We need them alive!" A soldier shouted.

"Where is Julian, Colby and Dylan?" Leo sneers at them.

"You're in no position to make demands." A voice said.

A tall muscular man steps forward. He has sharp black eyes and short brown hair. The man was wearing a brown leather suit and brown shoes. "Leo. Evelyn."

"Dylan Rosa." Leo growls at him.

"Now lay down your weapons." Dylan ordered. "The two of you are coming with us."

"That's not going to happen." Leo got into his stance.

"Take them." Dylan snaps his fingers.

The celing exploded above their heads without warning. It created a large dust cloud that covered the room. Two shadowy figures fell in from above and landed on their feet.

"Damn..." Leo groans as he got on all fours. He lifts his head to see Dylan running away from them.

"Get him, Leo!" Evelyn shouted as she got into a fighting stance. "I'll take care of his two lackeys!"

"You don't have to tell me twice!" Leo shouted as he runs after him. He climbs a staircase that led him outside of the building. Leo spots the man running to the docks near the ocean.

Dylan looks over his shoulder to see Leo still coming after him. He didn't bother stopping and kept running into the street. Several cars screeches and honks at him. He made it to the other side and looks over his shoulder to see Leo jumping on the ongoing cars and made it safely to the other side. "Annoying little prick!" he shouted and fires his pistol at the young boy.

Leo deflects the bullets away with ease.

With his pistol emptied, Dylan takes out two brass spiked knuckles after throwing the empty gun away. He charges at Leo with a hard punch, but the kid caught it with his hand. Leo was about to counter back, but he was kicked in stomach and was thrown onto the beach.

"Hmph!" Leo dives out of the way to avoid a punch to the head. He threw his sword to the side before lunging at Dylan. Leo knew that Dylan is bigger than him. He blocks his kicks and avoided the punches. The kid saw an opening and punches Dylan hard in the balls.

"GAH!" he yelled in pain.

Leo threw down several smoke bombs around them.

Dylan couldn't see anything. His body was getting sliced by Leo from all directions. He continues to yell out in pain. The man desperately stands up as the smoke disappears. Leo was nowhere in sight. When he turns around, he felt something that stabbed in the stomach. The man looks down and saw Leo. Leo removes the sword from Dylan's stomach and watched him fall onto his knees.

Leo raised the sword to Dylan's chest. "Where is Julian and Colby?"

"Fuck you!" Dylan shouts at him.

Leo grasps his sword with both hands. "Ha!" he started to yell as Leo prepares to kill him. But someone tackles to the ground without warning that made him let go of his sword.

The sword landed besides a teenager who was about five years older than Leo. This person wore a long dark gray sleeve shirt while wearing a black leather jacket. There were three sharp spikes on the shoulders while wearing black army pants and black boots. The person's head was covered with a armored black mask. There were two horns on top of the mask.

"Stay down, kid!" The person barks at him.

"Gr!" Leo started growling furiously. "Ha!"

Meanwhile, Evelyn was all tied up. Her mouth was covered up. She glares at the person who tied her up. The person was wearing a purple shinobi bat suit. She wore a long purple cape and was wearing yellow gauntlets and indigo boots with a purple utility belt with the shape of a black bat at the center. Her long red hair was in a ponytail.

The mask she has on has two ears that was the same length of her ponytail. She stares at Evelyn with her green eyes.

"I'm glad that we caught you when Halle called." The teenage girl said. "It's nice to meet the daughter of Bruce Stark. Your father is notified that you and Leo left the manor again."

"Mmm mmm mmmm?" Evelyn muffled.

"I'll tell you when we get back to the Bat Cave." She told the tied-up girl before contacting her associate. "Black Devil, are you there? I have her all tied up. How are things on your end?" There was screaming on the other end.

"Little bastard nailed him on the side of the dock! I'm ending this right now!"

The girl waited and listened for several minutes.

"Leo is all tied up now and the man is unconscious."

"Alright. We'll see you both back at the Bat Cave, Seth."

"Right."

Black Devil hangs up and look at his surroundings. Dylan was unconscious after the man was pulled from the colum when he started bleeding. Black Dvil had to bandage his back to stop the bleeding. He can hear some muffling right behind him. Looking over his shoulder, Leo was laying down on his stomach with his arms and lega tied behind his back. His mouth was covered with a black cloth.

"Well, we should get out of here, little man." Black Devil kneels down to look at him. "You'll know who we are when we get back to the Batcave. And after what I saw tonight, I thought I was the one who has a bad temper."
