Character Sheet - Rosa Labrador Guerrero

Species:

Human / Spanish.

Primordial Blooded.

Sex:

Female

Age:

20

Height:

Around 1.6 m (5' 3")

Hair:

Short, chesnut colored, hair.

Eyes:

Deep Indigo.

Skin:

Fair, but very tanned, like her brother.

Particularities:

Very squeamish. Ironic when you consider she was part of a fishing boat and also worked to prepare the fish. She won't like it if she has to see blood or be the reason for it, but she is practiced enough for you to nerver, ever know about such a little 'weakness'.

Unironically is tired of fish, but will never complain about any food. She'd prefer to eat anything but, though.

On the other hand she would love to keep fish as pets, but finds the idea perhaps a bit too morbid.

Her touch is gentle as silk, but her hands are hard as iron after so much work. It bothers her a lot, but makes sure no one is aware (to her knowledge) of this fact.

Is extremely motherly and worries about everyone in her family, even the biggest asshole out there. If you get her to dislike you, then you have to be a real piece of work, otherwise she'd care for, or worry, even for those abusing her.

She is the epitome of 'stereotypical woman' if she breaks down for some reason: Nervous, panicky, shrill, snot and general babbling are all possible. Ironic, because when afraid she is the opposite, just don't overwhelm her with regular old problems.

Interests:

Fish, but not for food anymore.

The sea, for the same reason as the fish. She'd like to study it someday, but it is not a life goal.

Caring for everyone she can. She loves the idea, tries her best and is saddened that she doesn't have as much time to make sure her family is okay as she'd like.

Religion, or at least the 'idealization' of religion, Christianity in particular. Despite having learned of the ugly truth Rosa still believes in being kind to others and offering the other cheek as well as all the positive things the church promulgates.

She'd like to find hobbies and other curiosities that get her away from reality and the regular messes her brother (and everyone else) pushes her into. With how little time she has always had it is very hard for her to find anything that takes little time but lets her mind soar.

Magic Affinity (If Applicable):

Light Magic (Primary)

Holy Magic (Secondary)

Healing Focus [Possible?]

Demon Wards/Banishment [Intended purpose]

Attire:

Utilitarian; sturdy or work clothes. She rarely uses anything you'd qualify as 'pretty'.

She DOES love pretty clothes and feminine apparel, but more in a 'keep it like a collectible' kind of way.

Would not mind to don something cute here and there, specially in blue colors, but never had the chance to do so.

Does not like the idea of piercings or jewelry, mostly because she hated the idea of needles (Far too many fishing accidents, doesn't want anything going through her skin unless it HAS to), and the later because she has lost more than a few rings and other things at sea.

Physical:

A strong, if not exactly tall, woman with a rather plain appearance, slightly geared towards 'cute', if not for her musculature and the many scars on her hands and the coarse feeling on her skin. Rosa is a very pretty woman with a little nose, beautiful eyes, well kept hair and always with a gentle smile on her face, but her utilitarian attire and generally sweaty state considering the amount of work she does to keep a very strong physical appearance does not click well with most people that'd be interested in her. She is still very feminine however, only slightly imposing, though her voice is beautiful, especially when she sings.

Personality:

Caring, empathetic, motherly, loving and generally peaceful. Hard to scare, but easy to stress, and non combative to the point of needing to be a monster for her to do something to you. Incredibly insecure and afraid of being rejected.

A clear 'mother to be', despite being perhaps a tad too young, Rosa is a very genial, forgiving and patient young woman that generally tends to be incredibly doting and caring to all those around here, only with truly revolting people being 'things' she would prefer never to associate with. She grew up with her older brother and has managed to toughen up incredibly well when it comes to her mental faculties, which also includes being close to massive dickheads without thinking the worst of them. Instead this reinforced a very clear desire to care and help people to her best abilities.

She also grew up with her grandfather as her biggest inspiration, with his soft touch and personality being her greatest drive. While her grandfather is a person you can easily push around, she hardly minded this flaw, instead learning from him how to be strong in other ways and how to love as many people as possible unconditionally and with an open mind. Of course this also meant a close relationship with her grandmother, the one to drive her desire for religion as an important guide in her family life, at least until she discovered the truth. After that her desire for the church itself has waned, but the words remain there.

Despite her enormous patience Rosa does have a few problems. While she has a good chunk of practice with her brother and cousins, usually having to do with her being the target of some of their pranks, meaning she had to grow a thick skin, thus managing to not only have that saintly disposition she has now, Rosa is very easy to overwhelm emotionally. She'll babble like a lost child in a fair if she becomes too nervous, and will likely have a whole damn mental breakdown if things go pear shaped in a way that is not physical (Meaning she can't HELP solve it), since one of her greatest fears is a problem that would dissolve the family in a sense.

Her greatest fear, however, is being shunned. As caring and loving as she can be, as patient and accepting as she is, she has to admit that part of her doing this has to do with her fear of being told to go away. She could withstand abuse of many types just to be accepted, and this has led to many people taking advantage of her, though never to a dangerous extent thanks to her family at large keeping an eye on her. At least one thing she hopes will go well, is the desire to find a significant other… Though her abilities with the opposite sex are, eh, 'lacking'.

What song or music would fit:

Whispers of a Mermaid. It has a little something that just hits right with her; melancholic, but not in a defeated way, nor in one that means whatever is wanted is now out of reach.

Visual Aid (if any):

None yet!
