Set during 6x20 'Super Cool Party People'.

His head hurts. His arms, his legs, his chest. Everything hurts.

Although, in spite of the almost unbearable pain, the bed he's in is quite comfortable. Wait... this is not his bed!

I remember the feeling of this kind of fabric. The annoying brightness of these white lights. The beeping sounds of nearby machines.

Crap. I'm in the hospital.

The thing is, Logan does not recall that any of his Life and Death Brigade stunts he's pulled in the past required him to stay in a hospital for more than a couple of hours. Most of the time, he would need a cast or some painkillers and was good to go.

But as he tries to sit up, his body warns him to stop by sending bolts of pain through his muscles, and he begins to understand that this is not going to be a short visit to the doctor.

My dad is going to kill me.

Just as he starts to wake up, alarmed, Logan hears steps approaching his bed.

"Look who's awake," a nurse teases, checking some files and writing on them while looking at his monitor.

He's still startled, looking around for any clue of what the hell happened.

"Do you know where you are?" She asks more sympathetically.

"The hospital?"

The nurse chuckles, closing her files.

"Indeed you are. New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia." She goes around his bed, changing his IV. "You and your friends parachuted off a cliff, but with quite a mix of substances in your blood, you had a really bad fall. Barely made it if it weren't for your buddies."

Logan can hear the scolding in her voice, but doesn't really care at the moment.

"You had surgery." The nurse continues. "Although you are stable, your condition is pretty serious. Broken ribs, a severe concussion, collapsed lung, among other things. So please, try to rest. If you need anything, just ask for me. I'm Bianca, your nurse."

Who cares about my dad? Rory is going to fucking kill me. That is if she decides to put up with my crap, again. Honestly, I wouldn't blame her if she just wanted to break up. All I do lately is bring her pain.

"I need to make a call." Desperately looking around to find his phone, Logan begins to sit up, grunting in pain.

"Woah, kid! No, no. Sit back." Bianca hurries back to his side, gently urging him to lie back down. "Your people are already taking care of everything. Do not worry."

"My people?"

"Your friends, Finn and Cole, I believe-"

"Finn and Colin?"

"Right. Those two. They left an hour ago to go pick up some things you might need at your place. And your girlfriend has been outside your room since you got here."

My... what? She's actually here? Why the hell is she outside? I need her right next to me.

"Rory?"

At the look of pure hopefulness in his eyes, the nurse softens a little and nods. Maybe she should give him a break. He is not by any means the dumbest rich boy in her care. In fact, if anything, he is actually the only one who looks remorseful for what he did.

"Yes. Let me tell you. That girl is a trooper." Bianca states, helping him to sit up straighter. "She has been making phone calls since she got here. Your family, school, friends. Hasn't eaten or changed."

She remembers how stubborn Rory was when trying to get the doctors to tell her anything about Logan's condition. And, against the rules, Bianca couldn't resist the heartache and fear in her eyes, so she invited Rory to the cafeteria to talk, and discreetly gave her as much information as she could. Swearing she wouldn't tell a soul, Rory hugged her tightly and thanked her a million times on their way back to the ICU.

"Sweetest girl. She has the whole floor wrapped around her finger."

Of course she does. That's my girl's effect. You can know her for 5 years or 5 seconds. It doesn't make a difference. Her pull is so strong that there is no escaping.

"Like she has everyone in her life," Logan replies quietly.

His nurse frowns at first, thinking his reply is a classic, toxic way of saying that his girlfriend does whatever she wants in a manipulative way.

But upon watching him closely, she notices the loving smile on his lips as he watches the door, clearly thinking about his girl. He is actually content being wrapped around her finger, she understands.

"Well, you better pay for her phone bills for at least a year," Bianca scolds him playfully, making him smile.

Her phone bills? I'm going to buy her one Birkin bag per every second she's spent in this hospital.

"You can be sure of it."

"Okay. Do you want to go back to sleep? Or do you want me to tell that blue-eyed beauty to come in?"

His smile is so big, his nurse does not need a verbal answer.

Hello, there! I hope you're enjoying my version of episode 6x20.

I'm thinking on making this a series through Logan's recovery.

Should I leave it here? What do you think? I hope I get to read your thoughts about this!

Anyways, thanks for reading!
