Case: Malfunctioning Mirror.

Jamil had to walk his way to the thorny dorm, a pain but he couldn't use the mirror. Diasomnia has been having mirror issues and has gotten so bad that one of their students disappeared after using it! This wasn't going to be an easy case; Jamil was very sure of that.

This wasn't like the Case of the Dilapidated Dog nor Who Knocked Up the Lion. This was far more...shall he say.. grand.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of students use the academy's mirrors everyday. That's far too many suspects to keep track of.

But Jamil Viper? Scarabia's finest (and only) detective? There was no case he couldn't close, he surely..no...he WILL solve this case! No matter the size!

"Hello?" Jamil called out, albeit out of breath.

"Oh dear..did you actually walk all the way? Surely there could've been alternatives Mr. Viper?" Lilia had just teleported in and was understandably rather shocked.

"Well I could've flown here but unfortunately I can't crack broomsticks outside of gym. I only crack cases. Such as this one.. what happened, Lilia?"

Lilia led Jamil to the main mirror, the rest of the main Diasomnia students were there...all but one.

"As you've known, as of late our mirror has been having some..technical difficulties. We've been trying to get it fixed but it's taking a while. ..But one night, Malleus received a letter, claiming that the mirror would be fixed during the night and should be better by morning."

Jamil nodded as he was writing down the old fairy's statement. "Do you have any theories on who wrote it?" Lilia shook his head. Jamil did a soft mhm.. now who would be THAT nice enough to fix their mirror..and why at night? "Go on."

"The mirror seemed fine when we woke up..Silver decided to test it out..that's.."

"And that was the last time we saw him." Sebek spoke up.

"We looked for him everywhere on campus. We even asked students from Royal Sword if they had seen him. ..no luck there." Malleus added.

Jamil glanced at the mirror. "Has anyone poked their head in?" Sebek had a small offended look.

"...No then." Jamil walked up to the mirror and poked his head in.

Dark.

It was so dark.

All Jamil could see was jagged obsidian. All he could smell was the air. ...he could hear a rushing crescendo.

Jamil immediately took his head out. "Well I'm definitely not sleeping anytime soon." He shivered. "How about nobody uses this mirror likeever? ..Well until it's properly fixed."

"I am going to assume you don't want to speak about whatever horrors that were behind that.." Malleus mumbled under his breath as he summoned some thorns to block the malfunctioning mirror.

The best feeling of relief suddenly washed over the detective. "Don't worry everyone. I will solve this mystery and find out what happened to Silver. You don't have to stay here if you have a busy schedule currently. I'll go find you if I have any questions." The three fairies understood and left the room, leaving Scarabia's vive leader be.

Now Jamil can properly begin his investigation. Although, currently, the scene looks..perfect. He looked in every nook and cranny but yet. Nothing.

"What the… whoever did this didn't want to be found out." Jamil heard some soft trots and saw Sweetie. One of Malleus' pets.

Jamil usually doesn't bother the pets, but anyone can know anything.

"Ah..excuse me, erm..Sweetie was it?" The little blue unicorn perked up and looked at the detective. "You are correct, is something wrong?"

"Perhaps it's too much to ask from you but, have you noticed anything strange as of late?"

Sweetie shook her head. "Not that I know of. I don't think the dorm residents here have noticed anything either. It is testing week after all."

Jamil sighed and sat down. For once he was stumped. "Well isn't this grand? A perfect crime scene. Everyone is busy doing something. What can I work with here.."

Sweetie trotted over and sat next to him. "Even the greatest of detectives needs some help. This case might be too much foroneperson." Sweetie placed a hoof on his leg. "I'll help you!" This perked up Jamil. Usually he works solo, but even he needed help from time to time.

"Very well! Thank you! ..So what do you think we should do?" Sweetie pondered a bit. "Maybe there's no clueshere.Perhaps someone here has something that can help us?" Jamil thought hard about that.

"..But one night, Master received a letter."

Jamil snapped his fingers. "The letter! Lilia said Malleus received a letter!"

Sweetie nodded! "And?"

"And that letter can be of great use to us! If we can figure out who wrote it by studying the handwriting, that can lead us to the culprit! Come on! Let's go find Malleus!"

The two stood up and immediately zoomed out of the room.

Jamil and Sweetie eventually found Malleus, who was currently practicing some magic for his Dark Pastry Arts class.

"Excuse me, Malleus! May we speak to you?"

"We? ..Oh hello Sweetie!" The prince kneeled down to pet his loyal horse friend. "Aiding Mr. Viper are we? Good girl!" Sweetie smiled proudly. "Now..what happened? Do you have an idea of who did it?"

Jamil shook his head. "No; but Sweetie and I believe the letter you received might be useful. Do you still have it by any chance?"

"I actually have it on me right now." stood up and reached in his pocket. Taking out a folded piece of paper. "Here, I hope folding it didn't cause any problems.." He handed Jamil the letter.

"If it's readable, then it's no problem at all. We'll leave you be then. Apologies for disturbing your practice." Jamil bowed. "Ah, it's no problem. Good luck you two."

Jamil and Sweetie walked off and sat down on the nearest bench. Jamil unfolded the letter and the two began to read it.

Dear his royal highness, Malleus Draconia,

I've taken the liberty to repair the Diasomnia dorm's mirror. Hopefully by tomorrow morning, it shall be working properly.

Sweetie squinted. "This is odd." Jamil looked over at her. "How so?"

"Well, I recognize this handwriting. It's Leona's, but he is not this formal. Plus, doesn't he hate Malleus?"

Jamil skimmed over the letter. Sweetie was correct.

"I believe we should pay a little visit to Savanaclaw's leader."

Unfortunately, Jamil and Sweetie had to run out of Diasomnia. Thankfully, only Diasomnia's mirror was the malfunctioning one. What's also thankful is that Jamil knew the Lion Beastman's schedule. He visits his boyfriend's dorm at this time for quality time.

Sweetie looked around at the byzantium patterned walls. The Rat Brothers' dorm was well known for its city-like decor and eerie feeling. "I heard they based this off the world's greatest criminal mind. ..Or shall I say, former world's greatest criminal mind. Ratsafarian has taken that title at this point."

Jamil nodded. "What's scary is how well they hide their robbery habits. Anyways, we should find Leona and Ratthew. They should be here."

Sweetie found a cracked opened door and voices coming from it. "Maybe they're in there?"

Jamil went over and knocked. A voice softly replied that it was open.

Jamil opened the door, perhaps a bit too fast and excited. "Hello! I must speak to Leona!"

Leona immediately cringed once he heard Jamil's loud voice and covered his ears. Loud noises stressed the Beastman and he began to rock himself. Jamil noticed this. "Oh, sorry Leona." He spoke in a gentle and quiet tone.

"...Dude, maybe a little softer next time?" Ratthew gently petted Leona. "You know how sudden loud sounds and voices bother him."

Jamil frowned and rubbed his arm. "I'm sorry. I got a little too excited. I'll be more careful next time." Ratthew nodded as a thank you and went back to calming down the lion.

A few moments later, Leona eventually calmed down and uncovered his ears. "...What do ya want? Better be important that it's gotten you all riled up."

Jamil laughed nervously and cleared his throat. In a much softer tone, he answered.

"Are you aware of the current dilemma in Diasomnia?" Leona nodded as he rested his arms. "Well, Malleus received a letter."

Leona scoffed. "And why should I care about that?"

Sweetie spoked up as she picked up the letter with her magic. "It has your handwriting."

Leona suddenly tensed up. "Excuse me?"

Sweetie gave the letter to the Beastman. Leona read it over and began to rock himself again.

"O-Oy..I didn't write this!"

"Gimme that…" Ratthew grabbed the letter. "Relax.. Here, I have your backup squish. I'll handle this. It'll be okay, I promise." He gave Leona a small round toy that looked like a lion. Leona mumbled a thank you as he took the toy. He sat down to play with it, already soothing him.

Ratthew looked over at the letter. He was quietly examining it; when he was finished, he looked up at the detective.

"It's not his handwriting."

"WH— ..I mean.. what?" Jamil almost screamed but he stopped himself. "But Sweetie said it was his."

"I concur. Can you please explain?"

"Gladly." The Rat Beastman motioned the two to sit down. Once Jamil and Sweetie did so, Ratthew sat down next to his boyfriend.

"I should probably explainhowI know it's not his." Ratthew avoided eye contact for this. "I..forge signatures. A lot. I can copy others' handwriting very well. I can practically tell the difference between the original and the fake."

Jamil gave Ratthew a disturbed look. "I won't ask about the legality of that, but I will admit that it's going to help us here."

Sweetie, equally disturbed, slowly spoke up. "Please tell us how you know."

"Well it's hard to tell since whoever did this actually did a decent job. It's still rather messy. Especially with the Rs. Leo doesn't make his Rs look so…crooked. In fact, whoever wrote this was trying their absolute best to not break out their original handwriting. Especially that S! That's definitely not how Leo writes his S." Ratthew paused and leaned over at his boyfriend.

"Erm, are you comfortable enough to show them? No pressure."

"..Yea I'm comfortable." Ratthew smiled and gave Leona a smooch on the cheek.

After grabbing a nearby pen and notepad, he wrote down a S. Already off the bat, there's a major difference. The S was neat, not so crooked as the S on the letter.

"Now seeing the two side by side, that is a major difference." Sweetie mentioned as she grabbed the paper for a closer look. Jamil studied the two letters. "Well that clears Leo's name."

"Though it begs the question, who's framing Leona..?"Jamil thought to himself."He has his enemies, but who hates Leona yet likes Malleus?"

"Mhm.. one last question. Leona, have you felt uncomfortable? Like someone has been watching you?" Jamil knew the answer to this but he had to make sure.

"It doesn't take a wannabe detective to know that Rook follows me way too damn much. ..But it ain't him. I should know. And before you say anything else, it's not Polli nor Floyd. Polli is too scared of Malleus and Floyd doesn't care about Malleus. But you probably know that too." The Beastman remarked.

Jamil nodded. "I was thinking so, thank you for confirming." Sweetie hopped off the couch. "Thank you for the time, you two. We'll leave you be then."

The detective and his unicorn assistant left the two furry lovers be. As they were leaving Nezumivince, Sweetie looked up at Jamil. "Say Jamil, I've been thinking. If no student has seen anything..maybe we should try to question some other folks." Jamil looked down, quite intrigued. "What do you mean?"

Sweetie motioned Jamil to follow her and follow he did.

"Why are we here, Sweetie?" Jamil was curious about what Sweetie was going to show him. "Well if we can't talk to the students.." Sweetie opened a door, revealing a room filled with stained glass. Not ordinary stained glass though.. The glass all had the dorm leaders on them! Every single one!

Jamil was shocked! "Okay this is creepy. Sweetie what is this?" Sweetie skipped over to the stained glass that had Malleus on it. "You know how you guys use mirrors and it takes you to the dorms? Well this is the same thing! Just for pets! Us pets use these stained glasses to transport ourselves to Twisted Haven!" The pony gleefully shouted!

Jamil was not expecting this at all. "How come none of the other students know?" He was inspecting the stained glass that had Kalim on it. "If Kalim knew..they would've told me." Sweetie rubbed her arm. "Well…it's supposed to be a secret between all pets. I wasn't supposed to tell you about this; but this is a special case." Jamil's eyes widened. "You mean..the pets can help us with this case?" Sweetie nodded! "Think about it! We don't have tests! We don't go to classes! We're free roamed most of the time. Someone must've seen something!"

Jamil kicked himself internally, why didn't he think of that?! "Then let's go! We just walk in like it's a mirror, correct?" Sweetie nodded as she hopped in the glass. Jamil followed her and he was surprised to be greeted by a throne room. "Welcome to Twisted Haven! You, Jamil Viper, are the very first human to ever step foot into it!"

"Holy shit." Jamil couldn't get over his shock. A world just for pets. He's seen it first hand. "Assuming you want me to keep this a secret?" Sweetie nervously smiled. Jamil chuckled and straighten up.

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. If I break this vow, I will definitely be shunned no way no how."

Sweetie tried to hold her giggles. "Now where did you learn that?" Jamil smiled. "I made it up, now I promised to keep Twisted Haven a secret. Now vows aside, who do you think we should start with?"

"MICHAEL!!" Sweetie roared into the hallway. "Michael?? Where are you!! I request your presence!!" Jamil was looking around for whoever this Michael was. Suddenly–

"Why hello there!! You're an odd pet. ..well actually…you're not a pet at all!" The upside down green pug snorted.

Jamil yelped and jumped a bit..but then he looked at this pug again. She looked just like Lilia! She was even hanging upside down too. "..Hello there! Are you Michael?" The pug barked and hopped down. "Why yes I am! Now why is the great Jamil here?"

Sweetie hopped next to her. "Hey! Sorry Michael bu—"

"You and Jamil are on the case and request my help!"

Jamil chuckled. "I can see what you mean Sweetie. Pets do know everything, I must ask, how much do you know?"

The pug thought for a bit. "Ah..many things! Like how I know who broke the mirror."

! ! !

"You do?!"

"Ah ah ah! But I want you two to find more pets. They know just as much information as I do." Michael softly chuckled. "Besides, the more witnesses the better, mhm?" Micheal walked off.

Jamil blinked. Just like Lilia. "Heh. Well she is right. More witnesses can be of use." If he can find at least two more, he can finally close this case! Before he could begin looking, Jamil already began to hear voices from a room nearby.

"Well color me surprised, Muffin."

"..Oh? What's up?"

"Nothing crazy but..I didn't expect you to behave at a tea party. Considering how active you are with your dorm's dancing."

"Hey! Booksy believe me, Hazelmoor does know how to behave properly! ..Just that there's not much time for these tea parties, ya know!"

"Ah..you're right. Forgive me for thinking so."

"..It's fine!"

Sweetie trotted over and poked her head in, sure enough, there were two pets having a Pomefiore styled tea party. One of them being Vil's pet bunny, Booksy; equally as fashionable as him, even has glasses matching the dorm's colors! The other one was Maeve's pet poodle, Muffin; rocking her owner's hair– or shall we say..fur, covering one eye style. Very good at dancing too! Which is natural since Hazelmoor is well known for their dancing routines.

Sweetie called out the two with a simple hello. Booksy and Muffin looked over and waved at the unicorn, motioning her to come join them. "Is it okay for my friend to join too?" Sweetie questioned.

"You brought a friend, dear? Of course they can join us!" Booksy declared!

"The more the merrier! Who is it?" Muffin asked with joy in her eyes knowing this party was going to increase its numbers.

Sweetie gave off a nervous chuckle as Jamil looked in, curious as to what's happening. "...Got room for a human?

Muffin choked on her tea at the sight of Sweetie's friend as Booksy just covered her mouth with her paw, equally shocked. Booksy held a teacup in her paw, a pet sized tea cup. "Oh dear… erm.. let me see if we gave any slightly bigger teacups for our..unexpected guest." Booksy stood up from the table and hopped over to the nearby cupboard.

"Okay..didn't expect that. What's the deal, Sweetie? I thought humans weren't allowed to enter Twisted Haven?" Muffin wasn't mad; rather she was excited to see a human here, spices things up a little.

"It's a long story." Sweetie mumbled as she sat down. Seeing how there weren't any chairs for him to sit on, Jamil decided to sit down on the floor. All criss cross applesauce. Thankfully, there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable.

"I like long stories! Spill spill!!" Muffin smiled widely as her floofy tail wagged. was assumed by the poodle, pets do truly show who their owners are and they are quite proud of so.

"I believe Hazelmoor's ties with Diasomnia are strong, correct?" Muffin nodded at Jamil eagerly. "Don't forget Ignihyde! Maeve is in a serious relationship with both Malleus and Idia after all! Heck, they even go to that abandoned Ramshackle Dorm to have their personal hangouts! I know because they always bring Berry, Bibbidy, and I along! Sometimes Sweetie and Honeycakes come but recently they've been coming more often because—"

Sweetie quickly shushed the poodle, all red in her face. "H-Hey don't spill that much." Sweetie looked around, "What if Bibbidy or Honey hears you?!"

Muffin squeed out a smile. "Oops, sorry Sweetie."

"I'm back! … My apologies Mr. Viper, all we have is this elephant sized teacup. I was under the impression this was strictly for pets so I don't currently have any human sized teacups." Booksy placed down two differently sized teacups and poured in some tea. "I do sincerely hope you two enjoy this tea! It's flavored like a carrot cake cupcake!"

Jamil couldn't help but just smile at this. This was all so adorable, plus it was a nice break from the stress of the current case. Even though he was close to cracking it, all he's been doing so far was running around and thinking; along with asking questions. All great detectives need a break after all. He sure does.

"Thank you, Booksy. I'm sure this would suffice." Jamil gave her a small bow and sipped on his tea. He perked up a bit and sipped again. Who knew tea flavored carrot cake was this good?

"I was overhearing your conversation with Muffin. Is there something going on with Diasomnia?" Booksy sounded a little concerned. Sweetie placed her cup down after a few sips. "Well..yes. Someone tampered with the mirror; they were trying to fix it but unfortunately it seems to be worse than ever–"

"Silver walked in and he has yet to appear anywhere. That mirror sent him off somewhere but we're not sure where." Jamil took a smaller sip of his tea. "The crime scene was perfect too, all we had to work with is a letter received. We originally thought it was Leona since it was his handwriting–"

"But it wasn't him, the letter was forged and it was clear that whoever wrote it wanted to frame him." Sweetie added. "No doubt to pin the blame on him if anything awful were to happen to the mirror after it being 'fixed', which is why we're here."

Booksy placed a paw on her cheek. "Oh dear..even worse that Savanaclaw and Diasomnia already have such strained relationships. If you were to completely blame Leona, there will most certainly be a war between the two dorms."

Muffin glanced over. "Not only that, think about the other dorms that'll be dragged in! Nezumivince..Hazelmoor..Ignihyde. That's not fair for anyone!"

"Which is why I'm here. I want to ask if you two have seen anything off as of late. Any information helps." Jamil was hopeful that these two knew something.

Booksy and Muffin looked at each other. "As a matter of fact, we do." Booksy stated.

"Yea, recently Leona has gained a new stalker. Not like Rook..this one is only in classes." Muffin licked her tea. "This guy constantly sits next to him and keeps looking over at him."

"We're not quite sure what he's looking at but we believe it could be related to that letter."

Jamil leaned over slightly. "Do you two know what they look like?"

. . . . . . . .

"Everypet to Diasomnia at once! I think I have cracked the case!"

Location: Diasomnia

Time: 8:00 PM

Jamil paced around in the lounge, thinking about what to say. All eyes on him.

Malleus and Lilia were just watching him pace about while Sebek was busy standing guard. Leona was here too, naturally trying not to fall asleep while Ratthew was patiently waiting. Sweetie and the other pets were here too. Watching Jamil.

"I've gathered you all today for one not so simple matter. As you are all aware, the mirror Diasomnia uses is malfunctioning. So much so, a student used it and is currently missing as of now."

The room was getting tense as Jamil scanned everyone.

"I will admit. The crime scene was perfect. Nothing misplaced at all. I thought that I was going to have my first cold case..until a little friend." Jamil winked at Sweetie for that part. "Informed me that we did indeed have something to work with."

Jamil presented the letter. "Let me present exhibit A. The letter Malleus received before the crime had taken place."

Sebek rolled his eyes. "How did that even help? Nobody signed it."

"Ah but that's where you're wrong, Sebek. It helped plenty." Jamil proclaimed. "We studied the handwriting on the letter. By doing so it led us to.." Jamil walked over and stood next to the Beastman.

"Leona."

Now Leona was fully awake. "I told you that I didn't do it!"

Sebek interjected. "It's quite clear that it was you! You wrote that letter!"

"Sebek, I politely request that you zip it." Malleus casually said, quite annoyed with Sebek's tone already. "Let Jamil speak." Lilia nodded in agreement, also quite annoyed at Sebek. Sebek cowered a bit and quieted down.

"Thank you Malleus. Anyways.. Leona didn't even write that letter." Sweetie suddenly appeared next to Jamil with her magical aura. "Allow me to present exhibit B. The comparison between the handwriting on the letter and Leona's handwriting." Sweetie lifted two pieces of paper, showing off the two handwritings.

"That..is a major difference. How did you tell?" Lilia was very impressed. Despite being quite old, even he didn't notice the errors.

"Well Ratthew here studies graphology." Jamil lied about this and Ratthew knew, but the Rat Beastman gave him thankful eyes, happy that Jamil didn't out his actual reason. "It's all thanks to him, his aid has greatly helped us during the investigation."

"...Which leads to my main suspect.." Jamil turned around.

"Well Sebek?"

Lilia and Malleus were honestly shocked to hear Sebek was the suspect and gave him shocked looks. Leona and Ratthew seemed extremely annoyed at Sebek though.

"W-What? Why do you think it's me?" Sebek, trying to keep his guard like composure, asked.

Jamil looked him straight in the eyes. "This is your handwriting, isn't it?" Sebek, who was offended at the accusations, tried to not scream out his answer this late at night. "W-Well..yes..but how do you know whoever wrote this didn't copy my handwriting too?!"

"That I can answer. There were witnesses."

This took everyone by surprise!

"Eh? Witnesses?? But everyone is so busy to notice something.." Ratthew was puzzled by this. Malleus chimed in. "I agree.. How did you manage?"

Jamil smiled. "That's easy, because the witnesses aren't even human nor beastman ..nor two legged!"

There was nothing but stunned silence as Jamil went over to Booksy and Muffin to pick them up. "Behold, witnesses one and two! Booksy and Muffin."

Sebek couldn't help but laugh. "Really?! A rabbit and dog?! Are you that desperate?" Booksy and Muffin glared at the Fae. Jamil chuckled. "Oh but don't you know? The pets have more freedom to do whatever they please. Meaning they can be anywhere at any time.."

Sebek stopped laughing.

Jamil looked down at his two fuzzy friends. "Tell the room what you saw, please."

"Gladly." Booksy adjusted her glasses. "I have seen Mr. Zigvolt on numerous occasions to be very keen on sitting near to Mr. Kingscholar." Muffin barked. "I even saw Sebek look over Leona's paper once during such classes! I originally thought it was to copy whatever answers he had.."

Leona glared at Sebek upon hearing this. Sebek was beginning to sweat.

"There's also one more witness. And this one—"

The green pug hung upside down. "Actually let me say it, Jamil." Lilia blinked. "Michael?"

"Hello Lilia! You will either love or hate what I'm about to say.." Michael hopped down and looked up at Sebek with a sneaky expression.

"I saw Sebek write the letter AND saw him tamper with the mirror!"

Gasps filled the room as Sebek completely lost his cool. "W-Wait how?! I didn't see you! I locked my room! I was so quiet!! How?!"

Michael giggled. "For a guard, I'm surprised you didn't take my size into account. I'm small. I can get in tight spaces easily. I was actually in your room looking for my squeaky bat toy but you never noticed. I wanted to say hello but then I saw you writing and didn't want to disturb..but I had a feeling I should be watching you. So I did. I followed you out of your room to see you slide the letter under Malleus' door and I followed you to the mirror. Sloppy magic I must say. Clearly you were unskilled to even be dealing with that specific spell. No wonder it failed.."

Malleus held Lilia down, who was clearly mad. Jamil nodded at Malleus as a thank you then looked at Sebek. "..Why Sebek? Why couldn't you just tell us you tried?"

Sebek, knowing he couldn't defend himself any longer, sighed. "... I wanted to fix it in secret. I wrote that letter because if my spell did backfired, I wouldn't get blamed for it." This was greeted by a growl from Leona. Sebek jumped once he heard that. "I chose Leona because..well I won't lie, I wanted the mirror fixed quickly so I just chose a random student. I..should've thought that through."

Muffin hphmed! "Your stunt could've caused more issues between Savanaclaw and Diasomnia! Poor Silver is missing and Leona almost got blamed for it!" Jamil places Booksy down so he can pet Muffin to calm her down. "She's right, Sebek. None of this would've happened if you had asked for help."

Sebek somberly nodded. "I know that now.." The Fae looked at the Lion Beastman. "I am deeply sorry for trying to frame you, Leona. I can understand if you won't forgive me."

"You're sure as hell ri—" Ratthew softly nudged Leona, he usually uses this as a signal to tell Leona to think before speaking, Leona has problems with his tone and words and sometimes needed a little help knowing when he was sounding mean. Leona did wanted to improve on that. "..right. Sorry. Let me start again." .. "I can't forgive you now, Sebek. This is kinda a..big thing. I need more time." Leona stimmed a bit.

Sebek, pleased and very relieved with this response, thanked him. Sebek then faced Malleus and Lilia. "I'm also deeply sorry for causing so many issues with this stunt." Lilia glared. "You won't see any forgiveness from me until we find Silver." Michael patted Lilia to help aid in calming him down.

Malleus gazed at Sebek. "..What spell did you use? I am upset that you did all this but I can help you in fixing your mistakes." Sebek perked up when he heard the prince was going to help him fix his mistake. "O-Oh! Thank you Prince Malleus..ah well. I can't remember the exact spell but I got it from a purple book."

Malleus froze.

". . . Purple. . .book?"

"Yes?"

"Did it have yellow swirls? Some blue glitter too? The cover was simply a white heart?" Malleus growing increasingly worried.

"Y..Yes? Is there a problem?"

"Oh my god Sebek. That book is filled with spells for traveling to different dimensions!"

"WHAT?!"

Leona flinched and covered his ears. "Oy too loud."

Sebek tensed up. "My apologies. What?!"

Now Jamil was confused. "...Different..dimensions? That's possible?" Malleus stood up immediately. "Yes, that is very possible! Those spells are incredibly advanced too. Meant for powerful mages like myself."

Sebek grew pale. "Oh my god I'm so sorry. I wasn't aware–" Malleus lifted his hand to stop Sebek. "Look, I need to find Berry. They can help us with this. I need you to find that book and bring it to me. Understood?" Sebek saluted, understanding his task he left immediately to his room to find that book.

Sweetie with her ears flopped looked at Jamil. "Gosh.. Jamil I have to help Malleus and Berry so‐"

"Say no more, go help them. .. Also Sweetie, I am very grateful for your help in this. Thank you." Sweetie smiled at Jamil and bowed. "You're very welcome Jamil! You can always come to me if you need any help!" Sweetie extended her hoof for a handshake and Jamil gladly shooked her hoof! Both pleased with their newfound friendship, the two separated. Sweetie leaving with Malleus to help search for Berry as Jamil remained in the lounge with the others.

"The Case of the Malfunctioning Mirror is now closed." Jamil said to himself.

Jamil was petting Muffin as he sat on the couch with a still peeved Lilia. Booksy was laying on Leona's lap, which Leona didn't mind. He enjoyed petting the pink bunny's fur. Helped him eased up a lot.

"So…..other dimensions huh?" Ratthew was the first to speak up. Lilia looked over. "Believe it or not, they exist. They are very different from ours." Michael was laying down near Lilia's legs and nodded in agreement. Jamil pondered..

"If that's the case..where is Silver?"

Lilia looked down. "There's an infinite amount of dimensions. Silver could be in any. Some are peaceful. Some are dangerous. I can only hope he's in a peaceful one.

"Maybe he's in a dimension where uh..everything is wild? But there's a kingdom! Maybe with bird and fish people…ah maybe some humans too. Ooo! How about walking rocks too?!" Ratthew was getting excited at the thought of that. "It would be nice. Just taking a breath into a wild world like that."

Jamil chuckled. "Maybe. Maybe he's in a sweet dimension like..everyone is a cookie! Each cookie is named after their flavor or job. I can see Kalim being friends with a yogurt cream based cookie."

"Hey quit talking about food, you're getting me hungry.." Leona's ears twitched as he said that. "Besides..Silver's probably in a dimension filled with ponies."

Everyone froze and looked at Leona. Ratthew couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing that. "Ponies? Really Leo?"

Leona nodded. "Why not? Seems up his alley. Bonus if they're colorful too. Maybe a few unicorns, pegasi, hell maybe alicorns."

Ratthew smirked. "Friendship must be magic over there, eh?"

The two lovers had to laugh at that. It sounded so stupid yet it fits Silver so perfectly.

Perhaps too perfectly..
