Outer Space

In the depths of space located in the far edges in the galaxy, Michael Korvac only stood there since he appeared. He only looked at the stars and galaxies beyond. Every single one shines bright in the different areas of the galaxy as only one human remains stationary. While Korvac is looking out in the stars, a certain ship begins to come closer.

The Milano

"Hey, Quill! How much longer till we reach Korvac?" Rocket asked.

"From the coordinates Warlock vaguely gave me, I'd say an hour and a half out." Star-Lord explains. "Warlock, update."

Adam Warlock closed his eyes as his soul gem glows. A few seconds later, he opened his eyes again and responded. "Michael Korvac remains stationary, right now. It is only a matter of time."

"I am Groot?" Groot said.

"Yeah, I do remember seeing other timelines that Korvac killed everyone in the universe." Mantis said, answering Groot. "We should also let the Avengers know about this."

"Speaking of Avengers. Where are they?" Quasar asked. "They seem to have vanished in this ship."

"They're in the docking bay." Moondragon explained. "I think the kids are doing some training with Batman."

While in the docking bay, Bakugo held his hand out and began concentrating to create the explosive cluster. He took a deep breath as his hand began to glow orange. The palm quickly began to form little sparkle like explosions. Bakugo smirks as he starts to get a hang of his quirk awakening. While Bakugo is checking his cluster explosions, the rest of his classmates were in awe of the quirk upgrade.

"Now that's cool!" Jiro said in awe while seeing the cluster explosions.

"I can't believe that I'm seeing a quirk awakening in action." Iida said. "An interesting development. I wonder if it will happen to any of us at some point."

"That's so manly, Bakugo!" Kirishima said in awe.

"So, Kacchan's explosions become dense and they turn into sparkles." Midoriya analyzed. "It's amazing."

"You know, seeing that does remind me of Jubilee's powers." Asui said. "Perhaps he should use it as a firework display."

"Like hell, I'll be someone's personal firework display!" Bakugo exclaimed. "I'm using this to improve myself and become the best hero!"

"You told me that you're planning on adding more offensive capabilities." Batman said to Bakugo.

"Pretty much, yeah." Bakugo said as he closed his hand. "I've been trying to figure out now what else I can do with it."

"Then, keep focusing on it." Batman said as he looked at the other class 1-A students. "The rest of you continue your training."

"Yes, sir!" The nine other class 1-A students said as they began training.

Jiro is currently sitting on one of the crates reading a book about human pressure points Batman gave her. She looked at the page of a male body while also seeing various notes from the Dark Knight. Jiro also had her earphone jacks extend out like an attack. She continued on making earphone jacks attack while also reading about pressure points.

Tokoyami sits in a crate while closing his eyes for meditation. While he's meditating, Dark Shadow begins to move his arms steadily. Dark Shadow then began to thrust his palms forward like a strike. The dark entity extended his arm out and continued his Tai Chi motion. Dark Shadow motioned a couple of strikes and finished off with a right palm strike. Tokoyami opened his eyes to see Dark Shadow nodded and responded by nodding back.

Yaoyorozu began doing the heaven six drill with the wooden eskrima sticks. She maintains her pace of the drill while not hitting herself in the head. Yaoyorozu finished her heaven six drill then proceeded to do some attacks with one stick. She began switching her hand to attack with the other stick. Yaoyorozu finished her one stick attacks and began doing an attack followed by a few kicks.

Midoriya began ducking a couple of punches from Kirishima. After ducking the last punch, Midoriya quickly threw some punches and a roundhouse kick. He noticed Kirishima blocked the punches and ducked under the roundhouse kick. Midoriya went back into position as he saw Kirishima throw punches. He strafe one punch and then dodged another attack. Midoriya quickly stepped back and launched a spinning heel kick in which Kirishima moved back.

Asui began to steady herself as she lifted off the ground with her hands. She then began swinging her legs around while also making sure it doesn't hit the leg and arms. Asui spun her leg a few times and then moved it up to where she was doing a handstand. She landed back on her feet and began her Capoeira stance. Asui began doing a high heel kick and followed it up with a spinning roundhouse kick. She then went back to her Capoeira stance and began doing a cartwheel kick.

Iida throws a roundhouse kick at Uraraka but the latter ducked it. The class rep was about to do a mid kick but saw Uraraka pushed the attack away. Iida spun around back into position but saw his classmate come in close. Iida took a step back and tried to do a crescent kick. He saw Uraraka ducked the kick and began to grab the arm. Iida then felt Uraraka pulling into an arm takedown.

Todoroki took a deep breath as he did an elbow strike, low kick, knee strike, double palm strike, and finished off with a Tetsuzanko. He took a step back a thrusted a double palm strike then did a spinning heel kick. Todoroki took another deep breath as he did another elbow strike, knee strike, and did another Tetsuzanko. He took another step back and did a Tetsuzanko again for good measure.

Batman looked at the ten class 1-A students training. He sees improvement from them as they take their training seriously. While the Dark Knight was looking at the students' training, two individuals entered in the docking bay also overseeing the class 1-A students.

"Wow…These kids are working hard in their training. I'm impressed."

Batman looked to see Gamora entering the docking bay. He also noticed Drax was not far behind her also coming to the area as well.

"Their training regiments are impressive." Drax said as he saw the class 1-A students training. "Perhaps myself and the assassin will assist them in sparring."

"I'm sure they won't mind." Batman said.

Bakugo stopped his cluster explosions and looked at Drax and Gamora. "As much as I would love to fight either of you, I'll take a pass. As soon as I get used to this quirk upgrade, I'll fight you. And beat you!"

Yaoyorozu stopped her eskrima drill and said. "I would like to spar with you, Gamora. I want to practice more of my eskrima skills against your sword."

"Not a bad idea." Gamora said. "Although, I think it's better for me to not use my sword for this one. Let me use a wooden one or a kendo stick."

Yaoyorozu nodded as she created a wooden sword and handed it to the assassin. Gamora began swinging the wooden sword around to get used to it. While Gamora was practicing with a wooden sword, Yaoyorozu noticed Todoroki walking up to Drax.

"I would like to spar with you, Drax." Todoroki said. "I need to test my Bajiquan ability against strong individuals."

"I humbly accept your challenge, Shoto Todoroki." Drax said.

"With that settled, everyone, make room for them." Batman said to the rest of the class 1-A students. "First, Drax and Shoto. Once the sparring's finished, Gamora and Creati."

The rest of the Class 1-A students began to move towards the walls of the docking bay. They then saw Drax and Todoroki standing face to face. Both of the heroes warmed up to get ready as Batman stood not far in the middle to officiate the sparring.

"Begin." Batman simply said.

Todoroki began charging a strike at Drax with a punch to the stomach. He connected the punch and noticed the destroyer grabbed his hand. Todoroki felt his arm forced up in the air as he saw Drax through a couple of punches. Todoroki ducked the punches and attempted a dashing elbow strike to the chest. Todoroki then quickly stepped forwards and hit a fisted thrust strike. He noticed Drax stumbled back and began to go for the combination of strikes. Todoroki did a palm strike, elbow strike, low kick, knee strike, and finished it with a double snap kick to the face.

Drax took another stumble from the snap kicks and noticed Todoroki charging in with a Tetsuzanko. He sidestepped the attack and did a spinning back fist. The attack was dodged and Drax took an elbow strike in the chest. Drax quickly recovered and began throwing a couple of punches. He noticed Todoroki evaded the two but quickly managed to get a quick punch in which was successful. Drax quickly gave Todoroki an uppercut, stunning him. He then finished off by grabbing the teen and did a takedown, ending the spar.

"Enough." Batman ordered, which stopped that spar. "Drax wins."

"Damn, that was manly!" Kirishima said with excitement. "I want to fight Drax again after seeing that!"

"Your hand to hand combat is impressive, Shoto Todoroki!" Drax said as he helped Todoroki up . "I expect you to further excel your hero work with that combat experience!"

Todoroki nodded in appreciation as he saw Gamora and Yaoyorozu begin to get ready to spar. He and Drax moved to give the ladies their sparring match some room.

Batman saw both Yaoyorozu and Gamora get ready with their Eskrima sticks and a kendo stick respectively. He then signaled for the two females to start sparring. "Begin."

Yaoyorozu held her eskrima sticks and dodged a swing from Gamora. She then saw the wooden sword coming back again for another swing but Yaoyorozu blocked it with the sticks. Yaoyorozu quickly began going on the defensive as she blocked and deflected several strikes from Gamora. She sidestepped and went for the attack on the back. The attack connected as Yaoyorozu took a step back and went for it again. She saw the attack blocked and felt her eskrima sticks deflected out.

After deflecting the eskrima sticks, Gamora went in for a strike. The strike was then blocked by a stick. Gamora quickly spun around and went for another strike on the legs. She saw Yaoyorozu hopped over the sword and went in for a strike. Gamora blocked it but saw only one stick at the sword. She then saw the other stick coming in from the low side. Gamora quickly grabbed the stick, preventing the hit. She quickly kicked one stick away and swung her sword to disarm the other one. Gamora quickly thrusted her sword closely to Yaoyorozu's neck, ending the spar.

"Enough." Batman said, ending the spar. "Gamora wins."

"That was awesome, Yaomomo!" Jiro said with excitement

"Well…Even though you lost, not bad." Gamora said. "Good defensive skills and you manage to hit me. Whoever trained you, keep at it."

Yaoyorozu nodded as she looked at Batman who nodded in approval. Several of Yaoyorozu's classmates began to compliment her for improving combat skills. Her moment of improvement was interrupted as a voice called out from the cockpit.

"Hey, everyone! I found him!" Star-Lord called out.

The ten class 1-A students and Batman immediately went to the cockpit where they saw Michael Korvac floating in space. Majority of them were surprised to see Korvac only floating there and not doing anything.

"He's just standing there." Todoroki said as he looked at Korvac.

"And according to Adam Warlock. He's been floating there since we left earth." Quasar explained. "We need a plan on how to capture him in the Soul Gem."

"How about we don't go head on and attack him." Gamora suggested. "That never worked and even with the Avengers helping it still doesn't work."

"Violence may not be needed for this one." Adam Warlock explained. "I managed to look into his soul. He seems to be in a vulnerable state. We should use it to our advantage."

"I honestly don't like the idea of taking advantage of a vulnerable being." Kirishima said. "It's not really manly."

"True but I've seen various timelines where Michael Korvac destroys many planets in the galaxy." Mantis explained.

"As much as I don't like this, in order for the galaxy to be saved we must use this to our advantage." Iida said.

"Yeah but I think we should only send a few people to him." Moondragon said. "Three to four people at max. Warlock has to be one of them."

"So…any volunteers?" Rocket asked. "And hot tempered, you're not involved in this because you'll likely screw this up."

"Bite me, rodent!" Bakugo said while glaring at Rocket.

"I'll do it."

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman looked to see Midoriya step forward in front of his classmates.

"I am Groot." Groot said.

"The kid got guts." Rocket translated and later said. "I hate to admit it but yeah."

"That's one…" Moondragon said and later asked. "Anyone else?"

Uraraka suddenly walked up and said, "I'm going with Deku. The best I can do is to support."

"Counting myself, that's three. I'm not sure it is a good idea to have children be involved in this." Adam Warlock said. "I suggest we add another individual in this."

Batman began to speak up and said. "I'll join the three of you. I have a gut feeling about what we're going into with Korvac."

"Okay…Just to be sure, I'll be on standby in case something happens to the four of you." Star-Lord said.

"Alright, before the three of you go, take these." Rocket said as he held out three round devices and a few square ones. "The round ones are space suits. It'll help you survive in space better. These square ones are my aero-rig jetpacks."

Batman, Midoriya, and Uraraka took the devices from Rocket. All three put the square devices on their backs which spawned a jetpack on their backs. They later put the round device on their backs which activated a blue force field around the bodies.

"After seeing that, I want a jetpack!" Kirishima said. "It's so manly!"

"I have a box full of the aero-rig jetpacks." Rocket said. "Let's use it for fun once this is over."

Outer Space

Batman, Midoriya, and Uraraka exited the Milano through a hatch with Adam Warlock not far behind. They then saw Michael Korvac and began flying towards him. Both Midoriya and Uraraka struggled a little bit with aero-rig jetpacks but managed to stay steady. Just as the four heroes were getting close to Korvac, they began to slow down. Batman noticed something was off as he, Midoriya, and Uraraka were at least a few feet away from Korvac. The Dark Knight then signaled Adam Warlock to stay back for a bit.

Michael Korvac continued to look out into space as he began to speak. "I know why the three of you are here. I saw your ship coming towards me a few million light years away."

"If you saw us coming, then why not attack us?" Midoriya asked.

"Because what's the point?" Korvac said as he began to explain. "I thought these powers can help me to protect the one I want to be with. To protect her from the monster that made me this. Monsters that tortured, experimented, and made my life a living hell! And now, after all of that, she said that I'm the monster. I…I…"

After Korvac's explanation, Midoriya and Uraraka felt uneasy about what the man said. Batman's hunch was heading towards the direction that might not end well. The Dark Knight decided to let Korvac continue what he has to say.

"I never asked for this! I didn't want to have powers! I just want to live a normal life and live happily ever after with Carina! Even with these stupid powers I got, I still can't get the girl! I…I…I've been thinking ever since that day… I lost everything. Everything…I just don't know if I want to live anymore. Perhaps…it's time to end it. Maybe move on to the next life… Just end it all…"

After his sentence, Korvac suddenly began to light up his body. Midoriya and Uraraka were shocked as it signaled a suicide attempt. Both students wanted to go and stop him but they froze out of the shocked feeling. Midoriya managed to quickly get out of his freeze response and began to think of what to do next. Uraraka remained still as Korvac continued to charge up his body.

"K-Korvac, no!" Uraraka screamed out.

Just before Korvac was about commit suicide, he felt arm was grabbed. Korvac powered down and then saw Batman putting his arm behind his back. He tried using his other arm to blast him but something tugged it to prevent it. Korvac looked to see a Blackwhip tendril wrapping his arm, preventing him from moving. He saw Midoriya grabbing onto his Blackwhip tendril and pulling it. Korvac tried to move but Batman holding his arm back and Midoriya's Blackwhip prevent any movement.

"Korvac…stop." Uraraka pleaded. "It doesn't have to be like this!"

The pleas from the teen fell to deaf ears from Korvac. The man continues to struggle from the hold the two heroes have on him. With no other option, Korvac began to glow trying to take three heroes and others with him.

Batman saw this immediately and began to grab something in his utility belt. He managed to pull out a knockout sedative and attempted to sedate him. Batman, however, felt Michael loosen the grip and hit the Dark Knight's arm, releasing the sedative. He saw the sedative floating away as he restrained Korvac again.

Uraraka quickly saw the sedative and went to grab it. Once she grabbed the sedative, Uraraka boosted closer to Midoriya, Batman and Korvac. She managed to get close to Korvac and saw him struggling with tears coming from his eyes. Uraraka had the sedative ready and was about to stab Korvac with it. She hesitated to do it as Korvac began crying in agony. Uraraka didn't know what to do until a faint cry called her out.

"Pl-Please…Just do it…" Korvac faintly said.

After hearing that, Uraraka put the sedative in Korvac's shoulder. She then saw Korvac slowly lose consciousness. Uraraka then saw Batman and Midoriya loosen their grip on Korvac as the man became depowered while unconscious. She looked at Korvac with the feeling of sadness as Batman called in from the comms.

"Warlock…" Batman signaled. "Now…"

Adam Warlock quickly flew in close to Korvac. He signaled Batman, Uraraka, and Midoriya to maintain their distance from Korvac in which they did. The soul gem began to glow as Korvac's body began to disappear into the green gem. Adam Warlock opened his eyes and saw Uraraka, Mirodiya, and Batman in front of him. The soul gem user gave the three heroes a nod. Warlock then went back to the Milano with Batman, Midoriya, and Uraraka in tow.

The Milano

When the four heroes returned to the Milano, Midoriya and Uraraka went away where the rest of their classmates were in the docking bay. Batman and Adam Warlock went to the main room with the rest of the Guardians. Both Batman and Warlock debriefed the rest of the guardians about Korvac's capture.

"Michael Korvac is secure in the soul gem." Adam Warlock said and then explained. "I also made sure Korvac will not pull that scheme again."

"I am Groot." Groot agreed.

"Well that went better than I thought it would." Star-Lord said. "Quasar already contacted Nova about Korvac. He's on his way with The Hala's Hope. A Nova Flagship."

"Good." Batman simply said as he removed the space suit and aero-rig devices.

"Perhaps a celebration is in order!" Drax said with excitement. "I would like to try Mochi and Burgers!"

"How about we celebrate after the big pay out?" Rocket suggested. "I'm also getting hungry too."

"I agree with Little Fuzzy." Mantis said. "I would like to try Yaoyorozu's tea and Batman's cookies."

Gamora suddenly spoke up and asked. "Hey, are Deku and Uravity alright? They seemed to be shaken when you four got back."

"I agree with the assassin." Adam Warlock said. "After I secured Korvac, both Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka had a feeling of distress from the look on their faces."

"Yeah…I noticed too." Moondragon said. "I thought about reading into their minds but I decided against it. But what's going on with them?"

"Korvac may have done something that gave those two trauma. Both of them had that look I know all too well." Batman explained. "I'll go check on them."

Batman began heading to the docking bay where the ten class 1-A students were. He was about to check in on them but heard Midoriya and Uraraka recalling the events. The Dark Knight noticed concern on the faces of most of the students. He decided to let them talk about Korvac's actions.

"What…unfortunate event you two went through…" Iida said, reacting to what happened to his classmates.

"I can't believe he almost did it." Yaoyorozu said in shock.

"With all that power he has, the idiot decided to choose the easy way out. Pathetic." Bakugo responded.

"Yeah but…at least you two along with Batman saved the universe right?" Kirishima asked.

"True but…Korvac…" Midoriya said, still remembering the feelings. "I know it's part of life for someone to be depressed…But I've never really encountered someone who contemplated of suicide…I don't know what to feel for that…"

"He was about to kill himself." Uraraka said, recalling what happened. "The doubt from Carina really set him off. Korvac came very close to doing it… If Deku, Batman, and I were late, who knows what could've happened. We might not be able to make it back to our world…I…I…*Sniff*"

Asui saw tears coming out of her best friend's eyes. She was about to comfort Uraraka as it reminded her about the feeling her best friend had with Sir Nighteye's death. Asui stopped as Batman passed her and Jiro to get to Uraraka.

"Don't put that on yourself." Batman said as he put his hand on Uraraka's shoulder. "You did everything to prevent it. It is never easy to handle these types of situations. Both you and Midoriya were brave enough to help me stop him. Don't forget that."

Urarak nodded as she saw the bay doors begin to open. The teen girl was surprised to see multiple men wearing blue and gold uniforms armed with rifles rushing through. Uraraka then saw multiple riflemen begin pointing guns at her, her fellow classmates, and Batman. She along with the others got in a battle ready stance until a familiar face entered the bay doors.

"Weapons down." Nova signaled the soldiers. "They're with the Guardians."

The rest of the Nova Corps soldiers lowered their weapons as a female soldier appeared in the Milano docking bay. The female soldier removed her helmet revealing a blue skinned white haired lady. The students wanted to know who that Nova soldier was until another voice came in.

"Ko-Rel!" Star-Lord said with excitement.

"Peter Jason Quill." Ko-Rel said. "Still the same as always."

Star-Lord was about to approach his ex-girlfriend until a metal silver claw appeared, stopping the guardian leader. He then saw an individual wearing dark blue and silver armor with a red gem on the chest. Star-Lord took a step back and saw metal wings coming out of the arm. He immediately knew who that individual was.

"The flark! You?" Star-Lord said in surprise.

"Whoa!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Another bird type character." Tokoyami said.

"He's like Hawks, Falcon, and Wolverine combined!" Midoriya said. "Can I ask you about your name?"

"The name's Darkhawk." Darkhawk said. "I was told by Nova that the eleven of you are from Earth. Nice to see some fellow terrans here. I'm sure you heard my name before."

"Spider-Man did mention you before." Batman explained. "SHIELD also had a file on you like Moondragon. A well known small time hero before you disappeared. I guess you went to space somewhere down the line."

"Surprised that I'm still a well known name there. Especially from that Web-Head." Darkhawk said. "I should go back to Earth at some point."

"I'm surprised that you're here." Gamora said to Darkhawk. "What are you doing here with the Nova Corps?"

"The Nova Corps hired me to be an extra precaution for this trial since Korvac has been captured." Darkhawk explained.

"Which we want to know now." Ko-Rel said and then asked. "Where is he?"

"We have Korvac in the Soul Gem." Star-Lord explained. "Adam Warlock has him tight in there. We can get him out."

Ko-Rel nodded as she saw Adam Warlock entering the docking bay with the rest of the guardians in tow. She then saw the green soul gem light up as Michael Korvac appeared in front of the battalion of Nova soldiers. Ko-Rel signaled her troops to get an inhibitor restraint and have a few of them point their rifles at Korvac. She saw Korvac hadn't moved so a couple of soldiers managed to put the inhibitor restraint on him. Ko-Rel then ordered her soldiers to move Michael Korvac to a secure place.

After Korvac was gone, Star-Lord began to speak. "With Korvac captured and the galaxy is saved, I believe our pay is in order."

"Hold up." Nova interjected and explained. "There's one more thing we would like to ask of you."

"And that is?" Gamora asked.

"There's an extra pay if the Guardians of the Galaxy are bodyguards during the trial." Ko-Rel explained. "Even though there are powerful individuals coming in, it doesn't hurt to have extra protection. We don't know what powers Michael Korvac has."

"Really? We just risked our flarkin' asses to get the most wanted man in the universe!" Rocket said with frustration. "I didn't sign up to be a scut bustin' bodyguard for some dumb trial!"

"I am Groot." Groot said.

"I do not like this either, Colossi." Adam Warlock said, agreeing with Groot. "But we have to oblige if our currency increases afterwards."

Star-Lord nodded and looked at Ko-Rel and said. "Everyone is in agreement, mostly. Can we also bring the Avengers with us in this trial? They want to see how this plays out."

Ko-Rel took a minute to think about it. She then began to respond to Star-Lord's request. "I…think we can make arrangements. As long as they don't do anything that can compromise the trial."

"That means you, hot tempered." Rocket said to Bakugo.

"It also implies you too, rodent." Bakugo replied back, aggressively.

Iida immediately spoke up while motioning chops. "You won't have to worry, ma'am! We will make sure this trial runs smoothly!"

Ko-Rel raised her brow with slight amusement at Iida's gesture as well as some Darkhawk and some Nova Corps soldiers. The sight of amusement was then interrupted as a question was asked.

"Um…Where exactly is this trial taking place?" Midoriya asked.

The Overspace

The ten class 1-A students, Batman, and the Guardians looked around the area where the Nova Corps told them to go. The area around them is space but saw various white platforms and a unique looking throne which the students assume it's the judge's chair.

"Well, Avengers here we are!" Star-Lord said. "Consider yourselves lucky, because there are only a very few groups that get the chance to be here."

"So, this is where the trial takes place?" Iida asked as he adjusted his glasses. "It's a weird place to hold a trial."

"Yes, The Overspace." Quasar responded. "A dimensional space above and apart from all other realities. It was only used for a trial if a being more powerful than anything threatens to destroy everything."

"There are beings more powerful to destroy everything?" Tokoyami asked in surprise.

"In this universe, yes." Gamora explained. "You'd be surprised to find out who is capable of doing that."

"Indeed…"

The ten class 1-A students' eyes widened as if it wasn't from any of the Guardians or Batman. They turned to see a unique bald human-like individual with white eyes. The human was also wearing a white and blue greek-like robe. The individual is also almost as tall but bigger than Groot.

"AAAHHH!" Jiro, Uraraka, and Midoriya screamed in surprise.

"Who the hell are you!" Bakugo exclaimed.

"I am Uatu. The Watcher." Uatu said. "The seer of the universe. I am here to represent the watchers in this trial."

"Seer of the universe? The Watchers?" Todoroki wondered. "Like a group of beings that can see everything."

"Yes. However I can only watch as various events play out. It is a rule we watchers follow." Uatu explained. "I know about your arrival in this universe, Shoto Todoroki. You and the nine other students of Class 1-A."

"I'm…getting creeped out from that." Uraraka said.

"Reminds me of that god who travels through time, observing the universe." Batman commented.

The students then saw a large individual man, wearing purple and blue like armor entering the overspace. They also noticed the man was bigger than Mt. Lady and Mole Man's Giganto. The students felt like they may have noticed the individual before but don't know who it is.

"Is that…?" Asui wondered

"It-It's Galactus!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"W-W-Wait?! That's Galactus!" Uraraka said in surprise.

"Yes. Galactus. The being known as the devourer of worlds."

Todoroki looked behind him and saw a silver covered man. He also noticed a silver board that looks like a surfboard the man is riding on.

"Who are you?" Todoroki asked with curiosity.

"I am The Silver Surfer." Silver Surfer said.

"That's one unique name…" Asui commented.

"The Silver Surfer…I've read files about you from the Fantastic Four." Midoriya said. "The Herald of Galactus."

"Ah…Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm." Silver Surfer said, remembering the group. "Good people…"

Bakugo looked at the Silver Surfer with bemusement. He then saw various beings entering the overspace. One looked like a person but the whole body is outer space. Another one who looks feminine with yellow and black skin all over her body. A second feminine entity with a black robe and a skull for a face. Several other beings entered through the overspace from unique aliens to human-like individuals. After that, one more being entered the overspace looking like giant humanoid robots.

"Who are these beings that just entered the overspace?" Iida asked.

Adam Warlock began to explain about the beings. "They are the entities who are members of the court for this trial. Eternity, Infinity, Death, Oblivion, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Mistress Love, Sire Hate, and Kronos. You already met Uatu who represents the Watchers in this trial. The humanoid one is called a Celestial who represents the Celestials."

"That's…some names of individuals appearing in this trial." Jiro said as she looked at the beings Warlock mentioned.

Yaoyorozu nodded as she noticed one more individual coming into the overspace. The individual looks taller than everyone else in the star chamber. The individual also appeared to be all shiny gold with a glowing object in the chest. Another thing that is noticeable from the individual is the floating head with three faces draped in a purple cloth.

"Okay that's new." Tokoyami said, looking at the individual. "Who's that?"

"Well, kids. Meet the personification of multiversal law: The Living Tribunal." Star-Lord explained. "The individual with the highest authority in the Multiverse.

"The personification of multiversal law?" Yaoyorozu wondered. "Like an Abstract Entity? A Living Concept?"

"Yes. Ideally, the second most powerful person in the multiverse." The Silver Surfer explained.

"S-S-Second?" Midoriya wondered. "W-Who's the first?"

"From what I understand…" Quasar continued to explain. "The most powerful being in the multiverse is called The One Above All."

"Hmph. The most powerful being in the multiverse has the lamest name." Bakugo commented. "The One Above All…"

Quasar then noticed the Living Tribunal was in his chair. "The Living Tribunal has taken his seat. That means the trial is about to begin."

The ten class 1-A students began to look at the overspace as the trial was about to begin. They looked on to see Michael Korvac standing on a white platform while also in restraints. The students do feel bad and sympathy for Korvac after his suicide attempt. They decided to stay quiet for now as the trial of Michael Korvac begins.

"Michael Korvac." The Living Tribunal said, gaining everyone's attention. "You are here under the multiversal law. An imbalance to that threatens a universe. Killing numerous lives and planets…

The Living Tribunal continues to list off the crimes Korvac committed. The members of the court looked on to Korvac with various reactions as they are now thinking of what their verdict is for the mortal.

"Before the final verdict, I ask members of this court to weigh in their decision." The Living Tribunal said, motioning to the other entities.

Eternity first spoke up in regards to a decision. "Guilty."

"On behalf of the Watchers…" Uatu said. "Guilty."

Galactus gave Michael Korvac a look of amusement and then spoke. "Guilty."

"Guilty." Infinity simply said.

The entity Death looked at Michael Korvac. "So much death this man has done…Not guilty."

Oblivion looked at Death for a second and responded to its own verdict. "I choose not guilty."

"Flark…" Star-Lord, Rocket, and Gamora all said in frustration.

"And you three owe me and Quasar 200 credits each." Moondragon said, smirking.

Tokoyami looked at Moondragon with a surprised look and said, "Seriously?"

"You should've heard the last bet." Mantis commented. "It was an eventful one."

Master Order looked at both Oblivion and Death with a revolting look and gave a response. "Guilty…There must be order in this multiverse."

"I will disagree with my brother on this one…Not Guilty." Lord Chaos said.

Mistress Love stepped forward with her verdict. "Guilty."

Sire Hate looked at his sister and then at Korvac. "I sense hatred of this mortal. Not Guilty."

Kronos looked on into Michael Korvac for a while before giving a verdict. "Guilty…"

"The Celestials and I choose the verdict…Guilty." A Celestial said.

"Majority says guilty while some choose not guilty." The Living Tribunal said. "I have the final verdict…Guilty. Before your sentence. I must ask for words from you, Michael Korvac."

"There's nothing I can say from what I did. The only thing I can do now is to accept punishment." Korvac simply said.

"Then your punishment for being an imbalance to the universe, I hereby sentence you into exile to a dimension. A dimension where you will be alone for the rest of eternity."

Korvac didn't respond and only stood there as the Living Tribunal raised his hand with white glowing energy coming out of it. Korvac's body suddenly flashed and vanished. The rest of the entities looked at where Michael Korvac was as silence plagues the overspace.

Iida adjusted his glasses as he saw where Michael Korvac was and said. "So the verdict is guilty and the punishment is exile."

"Yes. Although Korvac received a punishment only very few get." Adam Warlock explained. "Sometimes there were worse than that."

Groot then noticed something surprising and said. "I am Groot."

Mantis raised her eyebrows and looked at what Groot was noticing. "Oh! That's surprising!"

"What do you mean?" Tokoyami asked.

"In all my interactions in this universe, there is a first for everything." Quasar said.

"Is there something happening?" Uraraka asked.

"Not anything bad. We can tell you kids one thing." Gamora said.

"What's that?" Bakugo said in annoyance.

"That The Living Tribunal is looking at you." Rocket pointed out. "The ten of you and the Bat."

Batman immediately looked at where the Living Tribunal was and saw what Rocket said. The ten class 1-A students followed suit and were surprised to see the personification of the Multiversal Law looking their way. Some of the students were nervous as a powerful entity knew of their presence.

"Um…H-Hi, M-Mr. Living Tribunal!" Midoriya said with nervousness. "W-W-We're ten-"

"I am well aware of you and the others' arrival in this universe, Izuku Midoriya." The Living Tribunal said which surprised the ten class 1-A students. "As well as the one called Bruce Wayne."

Batman raised his eyebrow as it's not the first time he dealt with a celestial being. He looked to see the rest of the Class 1-A students looking a bit nervous and shocked.

"Was there a reason why you were looking at us?" Batman asked. "Did we break multiversal law?"

"No…" The Living Tribunal responded. "If you did, I would personally intervene and bring all of you to trial."

The ten class 1-A students' sweat drops as the personification of the multiversal law hovered the idea of them taking to trial for breaking multiversal law. They would not imagine the punishment and possibly could end up worse than Korvac.

"However, I sensed your presence in the universe you are currently in will not cause any harm." The Living Tribunal said.

"You kids dodged a bullet there." Star-Lord commented.

The class 1-A students sighed in relief but Midoriya suddenly thought of a question. "Um…Mr. Living Tribunal? I want to know…It's about our universe…I-I know we have people in this universe looking for it but…Is there a chance, you know, it's still there?"

The Living Tribunal looked at Midoriya for a good while. The eyes began to glow as the entity looked out into the stars.

"The multiverse has many infinite worlds one can find time consuming." The Living Tribunal explained. "I can tell you the universe ten of you are from is part of a group that will not be at risk of erasure. In other words, it is still present. However, I cannot take you there."

Although they would prefer to go back, the students sighed in relief in regards to their world being safe and not being in the risk of erasure. Midoriya has a smile on his face but looks at Batman for a second. He suddenly had a thought and looked at the Living Tribunal again.

"Um…I have another question, Mr. Living Tribunal." Midoriya said and asked. "It's…about Batman…Um…S-Since you knew he came from a different universe and was erased. Considering your power in the multiverse, I would like to ask if there is a way to either restore it or something?"

Batman's white lenses widened in surprise from Midoriya's question. He didn't expect a student to ask a question. The Dark Knight was about to tell Midoriya that the question wasn't necessary but stopped as The Living Tribunal's eyes glowed again.

A second later, The Living Tribunal's eyes stopped glowing and looked at the heroes and said. "The universe Bruce Wayne came from is part of a multiverse that is not within my vicinity. It is beyond my capability. However I do know someone from his universe I am acquainted with. The one called…Aztar."

"The Spectre…" Batman said, remembering that name.

"Indeed… I will speak to him about this…" The Living Tribunal said. "However…I will explain this to you. An erasure of a universe is possible but there is a possibility one may be conveyed into a position beyond either of us can reach.

"Wait…Conveyed into a position beyond either of us can reach?..." Batman repeated what the Living Tribunal said and asked. "What do you mean?"

"You'll find out soon enough." The Living Tribunal responded. "Until then you may leave Overspace…"

The Living Tribunal turned away and began to fade out leaving the heroes in the Overspace by themselves.

"Does anyone know what the flark is he talking about?" Rocket asked.

"Beats me." Gamora said and looked at Quasar. "Do you know what he was talking about?"

"No…" Quasar responded and said. "But the message The Living Tribunal gave in regards to Batman. It seems to be more than what we're believing."

Midoriya looked at his Avenger teammate with concern and asked. "Batman?"

"He said I'll find out soon…" Batman said, repeating the entity's words. "Perhaps mine and Reed's hunches were right, I think. But that's going to be for another time. Let's go."

After the trial: Hala's Hope: Hangar Bay

Following their departure from the Overspace, the ten class 1-A students went with Batman and The Guardians to the Nova Corps Flagship: Hala's Hope. The heroes sat in cargo crates discussing the trial of Michael Korvac. They also talked about the interaction with the Living Tribunal's and Uatu The Watcher's knowledge of the students.

"Well…that was interesting." Uraraka said.

"It appears our popularity reaches outside of earth as well." Tokoyami said.

"I am Groot." Groot said.

"Yeah, tell me about it. Who knew the Living Tribunal is a big fan of you!" Rocket said.

"After gaining a fan of the personification of the Multiversal Law, what do you kids feel about the trial?" Mantis asked.

"It's also our first time seeing a trial of any sorts." Todoroki said. "An eventful one…"

"I agree. But also getting a chance to see the most powerful beings of the universe is a once in a lifetime experience." Yaoyorozu said.

"Um…Batman? Was there a trial like that in your universe?" Midoriya asked.

"Not from what I witnessed." Batman explained. "There was a time a teammate of mine was on trial for destroying a planet. It was dismissed after it turned out the planet survived and the whole thing was a ploy for revenge from an alien race."

"In all our travels in this universe, that's the first time I heard a story like that." Moondragon said.

"Joo. That's some powerful teammates you have." Kirishima commented.

"Agreed." Drax said as he looked at Star-Lord. "Peter Quill, what is the result of our contract with the Nova Corps?"

"With that resolved and our pay is bigger than I thought it would, our contract is a success!" Star-Lord said. "Seriously, there's enough for everyone. I think we should start negotiating for higher rates."

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* "Everyone move to your stations! We have a code white!"

The alarm went off which caught the heroes by surprise. Iida, Tokoyami, and Uraraka looked to where the voice was and saw multiple Nova corps soldiers going all over the place.

"What's going on?" Iida asked.

"There seemed to be an emergency protocol." Tokoyami explained. "I heard from one of the soldiers that it is code white."

"Oh…I remember this part." Mantis said. "Something bad is happening."

"What do you mean?" Uraraka asked. "What's happening?"

Star-Lord saw Nova and Darkhawk along with a bunch of Nova soldiers running in one direction. He then saw Ko-Rel which prompted him to stop her and ask. "Hey, Ko-Rel? Where are you guys going?"

"Xandar." Ko-Rel explained. "We received word that the planet is being attacked by the Chitauri."

"Oh for flark sake! Those idiots again!" Rocket exclaimed in frustration.

"The Chitauri?" Yaoyorozu wondered.

"An alien race led by my adoptive father Thanos." Gamora explained.

"Peter, I hate to say this. But can you and the Guardians come to our aid?" Ko-Rel asked as she also looked at the ten class 1-A students and Batman. "Richard Rider told me that the eleven of you fought Yondu and the Ravagers along with the Guardians. Considering that you all held your own, we need your help too."

"Well, looks like our work is not over yet." Star-Lord said as he looked at the Avengers. "Let's go save the flarkin' galaxy."

AN: This chapter is done! This took a while to finish. Michael Korvac's suicide attempt was based off how the ending of the Korvac saga in the comics. He committed suicide through an act of will after sensing Carina's doubt in him. In this one, the doubt Carina gave pushed him to be suicidal. I also got the idea of having Midoriya and Uraraka being the suicide preventers after their declaration of trying to save Shigaraki and Toga, respectively, in both manga and anime.

The whole trial concept was based on the Trial of Adam Warlock in the comics. Thus the appearance of Uatu The Watcher, The Living Tribunal, Galactus, The Silver Surfer, A member of the Celestials, Eternity, Infinity, Death, Oblivion, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Mistress Love, Sire Hate, and Kronos is in this chapter. Also I added in Darkhawk and Ko-Rel because originally the two were supposed to appear in the last chapter but they're here in this one.

Next chapter will be the conclusion of the Guardians arc as The ten class 1-A Avengers, The Dark Knight, and The Guardians of the Galaxy help the Nova Corps fight off the Chitauri on Xandar.

Before I sign off, I have something to say. As many of you know, Game2002 had canceled the sequel to Justice of Two Worlds due to harassment from impatient and toxic reviewers. Later on, he reconsidered it after one of the reviewers apologized. I will not condone any type of constant harassment in this story. Coming up with ideas and writing stories is tedious and time consuming. There are also other factors preventing authors from continuing writing like working on different stories and personal issues. So I'll leave this with two quotes… "You can't rush art." and "Great things take time…Be patient."
