I searched the system for a pump capable of drawing water and transferring it to a large storage tank I plan to build in the future. And I found! There were pumps for pools and some massive pumps.
Probably designed for precisely what I need.
But a giant water pump, which is what I need, costs 1,000 points. After posting my second video, my points are increasing, so it's okay.
I have over 4,000 points, and my new video has already surpassed 20,000 views. The first video I posted was close to 80,000 views and kept increasing. I might already be famous...
"This isn't the time to think about fame. Focus on the water. WATER!"
I bought the water pump, which appeared right before me. It was massive, with one opening to draw water and another for the water to come out. I need to connect the lower part to a well...
"But I need power to keep the water pump running. I forgot... Damn it."
I checked the system and looked for something to help me generate power. Batteries are out of the question, windmills are off the table for now, hydropower is impossible, and nuclear power is... terrifying.
The easiest option is solar panels.
There's plenty of space around here, and the sun is intense.
"It'll depend on the price... I'll need many solar panels and also a generator."
How many solar panels will be enough? If I use them just to power the water pump, I won't need many... but I also want to take this opportunity to power my house.
"The price isn't too bad."
Each solar panel costs 50 points. The generator is expensive but less than the water pump. It costs 500 points.
I also need to buy the cables to connect everything... and done.
Everything was now bought. A stack of 20 solar panels, a generator, and many cables. I'm not an expert, but I'll give it a try.
It would be nice if the system could help me with this.
To my surprise, a new system feature was revealed to me.
It was a manual! It showed me blueprints and how to build certain things.
I hadn't noticed this before... or maybe it didn't exist until now, and the system decided to help me.
What matters is that it makes things easier.
Following the system's steps, I installed all the solar panels on my roof and placed the generator on the ground outside my house.
With the solar panels set up, I connected all the necessary cables and ran wires to the living room and my bedroom.
I considered installing lights, but they're not needed.
"Now I just need to wait for the energy to be generated. It's not instant."
I checked the generator to see if everything was working. It was making some noise, and a few lights were on. Yes, it's working!
It took me two hours to set everything up. Longer than I expected.
"Now it's time to dig."
I decided to dig the well not far from the energy generator. I marked a large circle on the ground and started digging with a shovel. I could transform into an animal to make it easier, but this way is faster.
But wait a second—water isn't everywhere.
I had already dug a bit when I decided to stop.
"What if there's no water here? I need to check."
I transformed into a mole and began digging through the soil. I think I'm much faster than an ordinary mole. I don't know how much time passed, but I dug a lot and couldn't find water.
I was about to give up when I finally felt some moisture.
Then, the water started to flow.
"That's it!" I shouted and climbed back up through the same hole I had dug.
I returned to my human form and looked at the hole again. "How deep did I dig? This must be over 15 meters. It'll take a while to dig this out."
But who cares? I can help the goblins later.
'I should help them soon. They might start thinking I actually see them like slaves. I don't want that impression. I think I've been too hard on them.'
Dig!
Dig!
Dig! Dig! Dig!
"Maybe this won't take so long."
After nearly two hours of digging, it was done. I had finally reached the water, which began slowly filling the well. "But I need to dig deeper to install the water pump. And this well won't be enough! I should make others in different locations."
But for now, this is fine.
I transformed into a bird and flew out of the hole. Then, I descended back into the well, carrying the pump with me. With my current strength, it wasn't hard.
I dug a bit more and installed the pump. The well began filling quickly. There was more water here than I expected.
I immediately connected all the pipes, directing one to the water tank in my house and adding an outdoor faucet for everyone to use.
"This is enough for now. Later, I'll create a proper water 'storage'. The goblins can get water here... And now I have 'infinite' water for my tank!"
I need to remember to close the valve when the water tank is full, or it'll overflow.
"This is great."
Now that this is done, I should help with the residential district.
"But the day is almost over. I think it's better to leave it for tomorrow."
Starting tomorrow, I'll try to post 3 to 5 chapters daily on p4tr 30n.
